The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, which made us feel comfortable right away. The facilities were excellent, modern, and very well maintained. The sea view was absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of our stay. Waking up to such a beautiful view was unforgettable. The breakfast was also fantastic, with a great selection and delicious food in the morning. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. We would definitely come back!

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. The breakfast was lovely, I need to return to have the egg benedict as i was advised they have the best in town.
There was nothing noteworthy that I disliked. The experience was enjoyable and lived up to my expectations.

The wi-fi kept crashing. Couldn't stream netflix. They said it was due to the weather which was cloudy. Fire safety issue due to the smoke detector removed from our room. We stayed in room 5 is one room with the toilet and shower in the room and no walls to separate or provide privacy. Mirror de-silvering. In my opinion, this was a 2-star establishment, not the promoted 4-star. Pictures of the rooms on the website can be a bit deceiving.

The view from the room looking at the sun rising from the ocean is Waow! The appartment is of a good size whith all what is needed for a stay. The breakfast choices is just great.

Das Frühstück muss bestellt werden, auch Kaffee…, das dauert sehr lange (45-60min an den beiden Tagen als wir dort waren). Außerdem finde ich es lächerlich, wenn man in einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse die 2. Tasse Kaffee oder Tee bezahlen muss!

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026Die Lage direkt am Strand ist toll. Vom Zimmer und auch vom bequemen Bett aus hatten wir volle Aussicht auf das Meer. Auch vom schönen Frühstücksraum hat man eine super Aussicht auf den Strand und den Ozean. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Wir waren nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise hier und würden jederzeit wieder hier her kommen.

Mit Glück sieht man die Delphine vorbei schwimmen. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Sehr aufmerksames, freundliches und hilfreiches Team. Guesthouse für ganz sicher mehr als einen Tag, auch weil Jeffreys Bay einiges zu bieten hat und Strand und Meer toll sind. Unbedingte Empfehlung!

Reviewed Feb 14, 2026Ein Traum am Strand! Sehr nette und hilfreiche Gastgeberin. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Trotz der Strandnähe nicht feucht. Frühstück war sehr gut. Lange Strandspaziergänge möglich, direkt vor der Tür. Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The best thing about it is the location - amazing views of the ocean and quick access to a quiet beach. But we also loved the friendly staff and their quick action when we needed anything, even replacing a lock that was sticking. The breakfasts were delicious and the honesty bar, a win. The self-contained apartment is great for families. We will definitely be back.

Parking is a problem if you drive with your own car. Car was parked outside the complex and could not get confirmation whether it was safe or not. There is not enough parking for all the unit within the complex and the parking within the complex very small and difficult to manouvre.

When I arrived with my booking I had to pay in as they stated the number of people was not correctly charged for , before that when we walked in the receptionist was on the phone and did not even greet us or welcome us made us sit and just put a tablet down and pointed us to it . A gentleman came and we asked him and he explained to us and welcomed us . He was serving us breakfast and was exceptional unlike the receptionist .

Breakfast can be taken inside or outside and they say spotting dolphins is almost guaranteed. Well, we stayed one night and saw a huge pod of dolphins playing right in front of the hotel at breakfast. Gorgeous beach full of shells. Dinner at De Viswijf just a short drive away was a real treat.

Reviewed Dec 8, 2025The property was in an excellent location on the beach with magnificent views. Our room was sizeable with great panoramic windows looking out to sea. A comfortable bed was complemented with comfortable chairs ( to enjoy the view) and all amenities were provided. Steps down to the beach from the garden allowed easy access to the sea. Parking felt secure at the back of the property. Breakfast could be eaten inside or out on a veranda and was comprehensive. A self-service bar was very practical. Our hosts booked a dinner at an excellent restaurant for us as well as a taxi to get us there.
Checking in is “self check” in on an iPad which is a bit “fiddly” for those of us of a certain age and we had to be “rescued” by the staff! Whilst the room was very well equipped, the arrangement of bath and showers in the same room as the bed is not necessarily to everyone’s taste (maybe this is an “age” thing again!). A folding screen to provide a modicum of privacy when showering might be a thought!
