Just walking out of the bedroom to the beach for beautiful sunrise was fabulous. Also saw turtles swimming in the waters right outside. Staff were helpful, friendly and the place was kept very clean.

The staff were amazing the location was on the best side of the island and the rooms are gorgeous.

The owners are BAD and do not care. We had no water due to no electricity for a day. All other hotels have generators this one does not and the owners did not care that paying customers had running water.

The location is beautiful and right next to one of the main areas to see turtles. The rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They have bikes and snorkelling equipment on hand to rent which is really convenient! It’s quiet at night but close enough to some nice restaurants and cafes, so a nice balance. Overall, a lovely place to stay.

The only thing would be a little point that the sockets are a little far away from the bed in the room I was staying, so if you don’t have a long cable then it can be a little inconvenient.

Heri and the team are highlight of this accomodation. Always relaxed, ready to help and arrange whatever you need. Although it's a rather basic accomodation, it's perfectly located on the beach with the best snorkeling on the island. Location is perfect.

Beds were too short - having 200 cm length would be better for Europeans. Also, for me personally it would be more convenient if I could walk in clean slippers instead of taking everything off.

It is very difficult to leave a positive review for this place.

The cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable. The bed and curtains were dirty, and the bathroom was also very unhygienic. There were dead insects on the sink and bedside table, with ants crawling around them. The room clearly had not been properly cleaned. We chose this place because of its high rating and reviews, but unfortunately, the reality was completely different. Do not be misled by the high ratings. We would definitely not stay here again and cannot recommend this place.

Schöne Unterkunft. Direkt am Strand. Die Gartenzimmer sind schöner und Privater.

Die Badewanne ist leider nur Deko. Warmwasser war genau für 5cm da. Die Zimmer mit Meerblick haben weniger Privatsphäre da sie direkt auf den Weg, den Eingang und auf den Pool schauen. Ich empfehle Gartenseitig. Es wäre schön den Pool privater zu gestalten mit Pflanzen, jeder der vorbei geht auf der Straße schaut genau auf dich. Leider kein Frühstück.

Very peaceful, relaxing property. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The back of the property is a jungle and fun to watch tons of animals; the front of the property overlooks the beach.

They did provide lovely clean water to drink & excellent coffee made for me when I asked for it. Breakfast would have been nice to be included in the price. The room was DIVINE, and clean & perfect. The location was DIVINE and perfect. The staff was lovely & helpful.

I did not like that I paid for a Seaview Room that was advertised as having direct ocean view from the room. Photos and price reflecting this. There are 2 rooms that have this. I booked 1 of those. The room I got view was totally obstructed by a giant tree growing. So my Seaview Room was a plant view room, and at times motorbikes parked there too. The owners did compensate me and we discussed the issue, but it consumed my time, and impacted my stay. It was a bit of a letdown to an otherwise PERFECT spot.

De locatie is erg goed. Je hebt privé strand bedjes die bij het hotel horen en je kan voor de deur snorkelen. Je kan fietsen huren en er zijn genoeg restaurants in de buurt. Het is schoon en gastvrij. Heerlijke sfeer.

Je hebt niet veel privacy. Ons bad was ook stuk dus als je je daar op verheugt is dat wel jammer! Maar voor de rest erg lekker.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Located on turtle beach so had an amazing time snorkelling with turtles. The view of the jungle from the terrace out back was so beautiful. Herimalik and the team were so helpful.

Super tolle Lage gleich am Snorkling Point. Toller Pool und Gartenbereich und vorallem schöne Gsellschaftsküche die mit anderen 2 Parteien geteilt wird. Mit kühlschrank kaffeemaschine und co. Die Insel ist ein Paradis und das Healing macht es noch Paradisischer. Am morgen das Meer rauschen und den „Urwald“ hören im Bett- was will man mehr. Sehr sehr sauber gehalten und freundliches Personal. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Vielen Dank!

Absolut gar nichts. Einfach perfekt. Wir haben unseren Stay auf der Insel verlängert und sind herumgefahren und diese Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen und hat das Inselerlebnis noch perfekter gemacht. Danke viel mal.

My stay at this place was disrupted and I ended up booking elsewhere. I walked past it during my stay on Gili Air. Looks nice. I think the management intends well but they just got it wrong for me as a solo traveller.

My booking was disrupted due to a booking system error. After much back/forth and then assistance from booking.com I ended up getting a refund and stayed elsewhere. Mandala booked somewhere else for me but I was unable to confirm the details with them or with the new place independently in a timely or trustworthy manner. The issue for me was that communication about my booking swiftly moved to WhatsApp rather than being on booking.com. The number being used for WhatsApp messaging was not a local Bali number. I attempted to contact the accommodation by phone, WhatsApp, booking.com messages the day prior and was unable to reach anyone in either place. It all got a bit messy. Again, I think they mean well but this was my experience this time. It is in a top location so hopefully others get a better booking experience.

Perfect location, perfect staff. Heri, Emamm and the staff are beyond amazing. Wake up and watch the sunrise, swim and snorkel, eat and drink great coffee without walking more than 10m.

Price wasn’t reflective of accommodation. Rooms have Minimal privacy, you can hear conversations in the next room. Rooms not fully enclosed w shade cloth, so mosquitoes can enter.

De sfeer is leuk! Ongedwongen en gezamenlijk. Makkelijk contact met andere reizigers. Imam en Imam doen hun best het naar je zin te maken. Je kunt er prachtig snorkelen voor de deur!

Voor ons was er te weinig prive gevoel. Je deelt een gezamenlijke ruimte en er is veel contact met de medewerkers en andere reizigers. Voor ons net teveel. Maar dat hangt dus echt af van je wens. Er zijn ook gezinnen met kleine kinderen. Dus dat merk je wel, en moet je zin in hebben. Wij zijn na 2 nachten vertrokken omdat het voor ons geen match was. Maar het is echt prima en relaxed plekje. Eerlijk gezegd had ik een spirituelere vibe verwacht en bijv yoga optie.

A very well designed hotel. Back side of the room is a mangrove forest and front side is the beach. Stuff was very friendly and helpfull.

Wow...ich war im Paradies. Das Mandala Beach hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Für mich das schönste Haus auf Gili Air. Am Morgen aufstehen und den Sonnenaufgang gleich am Strand geniessen, eine 10/10. Das Haus selbst ist wunderschön eingerichtet. Alles mit sehr viel Geschmack. Alles ist sehr sauber. Wir waren mit unseren 2 Kids dort. Das Team vom Mandala Beach hat alles daran gelegt unser Aufenthalt perfekt zu machen. Es wurde alles für uns organisiert. Vielen herzlichen Dank Guys, ihr wart grossartig. Vielen Dank für eure Gastfreundchaft. Wir hoffen bald wieder Gäste im Mandala Beach sein zu dürfen.

Lage, das wunderschöne Haus, das top Team vom Mandala Beach. Das Haus ist toll gemacht. 2 Einheiten mit je drei wunderschön eingerichtete Zimmer. Eine Küche pro Einheit zur Benutzung. Ich habe mich wie zuhause gefühlt.

The beachfront was wonderful. Close to restauants and the locals were charming.

The bathroom, little privacy, sliding doors which did not work well, curtains which were ineffective, a shower where water flowed into the garden and carried the dirt to the shower platform.

Heri and the entire team were great, so helpful and kind. We had a great time here. A peaceful escape!And you can order -the best- smoothie bowls or fresh drinks/food just sitting on your big beach bed, I miss everything already 🥲

An absolute gem - low key vibe, beautiful room in a small villa of only 6 rooms across two pavilions (each with their own common area with kitchenette, fridge, coffee machine and filtered water). Attentive, helpful and friendly staff - shout out to Heri and the boys who were on hand to arrange transport, bike and snorkel rentals and share local knowledge. We had a lagoon room, facing away from the beach, which was a beautiful outlook. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and had mozzie nets. The outdoor bathroom was a view in itself with tropical plants and lovely bath (not that we used it), tiles and decor. The best location on the island in my opinion located at Turtle Point on the east/north east Not too busy, away from the hustle and bustle of the Port area. Guest only sun loungers and umbrellas on the beachfront but also beautiful shade trees. You can snorkel off the beach here - it's a reef with turtles and an abundance of colourful fish. Plenty of food options and an easy walk/bike ride into town. The pool is clean and really perfect for cooling off early evening or when the tide is low. It was all excellent.

Beautiful quiet spot right on a perfect beach. Lovely room and bathroom design, soft beds and pillows with good quality linens. Modern efficient air con. Lovely pool to retreat to.

On arrival details like where to get breakfast or dinner could be clearer, although as it turns out it’s very easy to find a restaurant! Hot water was enough for a shower, but not enough to run the bath.

La chambre devant le lever du soleil et devant la mer était splendide, très confortable et propre. La piscine était parfaite. La villa était très bien située sur l’île. L’accès à une cuisinette et salon était vraiment pratique et sympathique.

Tout était absolument parfait. Le personnel était particulièrement attentif à nos besoins et extrêmement sympathique. Merci à tous ces employés vraiment gentils.

If I could give 100 stars, I would! My friend and I where at Mandala Beach for two weeks and loved it so much! It felt very familiar, also with everyone who is working in the house. I will definitely come back. Thank you <3

The location was unbeatable and the staff was very friendly and attentive, Harry went out of his way to ensure we were happy and had everything we needed.

Not necessarily a negative but be aware there is a shared kitchen with shared fridge. The accommodation is like 1 big apartment with 3 bedrooms each with their own private ensuite which are rented out individually.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa villa durante il nostro viaggio a Gili Air ed è stata una scelta perfetta sotto ogni punto di vista. La posizione è incredibile: basta letteralmente un minuto a piedi per arrivare nel punto dell’isola pieno di tartarughe. Nuotare insieme a loro è stata un’emozione indescrivibile e poterlo fare così vicino alla struttura ha reso tutto ancora più speciale. La villa è molto bella, curata e rilassante, con camere stupende e comodissimi lettini direttamente sulla spiaggia, perfetti per godersi il mare e il tramonto. Ma la vera differenza la fa lo staff: tutti fantastici, efficienti, simpatici e sempre sorridenti. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Heri, che oltre a essere sempre pronto per una chiacchierata o una battuta, ci ha letteralmente salvati quando il nostro volo di rientro è stato improvvisamente anticipato. In pochissimo tempo ha organizzato tutta la trasferta permettendoci di arrivare in aeroporto perfettamente in orario. Una gentilezza e una disponibilità davvero rare. Consigliatissimo, ci tornerei senza alcun dubbio.

This was not just the best stay on Gili Air - it was one of the best experiences of our lives. This place healed us, inspired us, and gave us memories we will carry forever. If you are looking for a magical place with the most beautiful souls and paradise right at your doorstep, this is it. We already miss it deeply and cannot wait to come back.

We had been choosing this place because we first liked the idea of being right in front of the lovely turtle beach. Indeed this beach is super nice as you can start snorkeling directly in front of the hotel and you will fit sure see some beautiful corals and colorful reef fish plus you chances are high to even see a sea turtle swimming along or nibbling at some algae. In addition we liked the concept of the place: Three comfortable rooms (with six altogether) shared each a common living space with a large fridge, a nice wooden table and a couch corner. This was offering a space for easy communication with other guests which we personally liked a lot. The staff and owners were also very nice and always helpful when needed. Altogether we had an excellent time on Gili Air in the Mandela Beach house.

This was our second visit. The healing rooms are beautifully themed comfortabke and situated half way up the east shore on the beach.The boys are very helpful and can organize any activities. We will return.

The room was very nice and well arranged. The resort is conveniently placed in front of the beach. There are restaurants and cafes all around. Heri was very helpful and kind. The other staff was also very kind.

The price was too high considering that there was no breakfast and no reception. The pool was nice as it was heated but the water wasn't clear at times.

The guy Herman met as at the port - explained everything,and was so kind. The room was clean,and really great,the bathroom was just stunning. The staff was kind and helpful. All and all I really recommend the place,at the last day they helped to carry the bags to the boat - it was really nice. There is kitchen for use and water and the place was just so calm. On other side of the hotel You can see the big lizards,there is swing and on the beach there is sunbeds for the guests - everything You wish for. There is snorkel.spot practically on the front of the hotel. We booked a room with seawiew,but You can easily choose all rooms,You will get the same feeling!

Except one guy from the stuff - it's a small thing but still - he just took my white linen shirt and cleaned the sun bed for another guest while I was waiting. Hopefully he didn't lost the key from the room.

It’s a wonderful place, it has such an incredible vibe, the people are very friendly, and the beach right in front is beautiful. I’ll definitely come back.

- chambre vue sur la mer, les autres n' ont aucun intérêt - de ce côté de l île, peu de resto et bar le soir donc plus calme que côté sunset- on rejoint l autre côté de l île en 15-20 minutes de marche

- mauvais rapport qualité prix, ambiance plus proche de l'auberge de jeunesse que de l'hôtel de standing. - on nous demande de quitter les sunbed de l hôtel qui sont sur la plage a partir de 16h pour que le personnel range les matelas.. Nous devons négocier pour y rester jusqu'à 17h... - globalement bruyant en raison de la proximité de la résidence avec le chemin, de la chambre avec la salle commune (machine a moudre le café et percolateur, impossible d être discret même avec de la bonne volonté) - du café et quelques sachets de thé basiques a disposition dans la cuisine commune et de l eau dans le frigo, mais rien d autre... - manque des porte manteaux, tablettes pour poser les vêtements, une chaise de plus dans la chambre , une petite serviette en plus de la grande serait appréciée dans la salle de bain - piscine peu profonde, au bord du chemin, peu utilisée au final car pas très agréable, et peu de place autour - pour couronner le tout, après notre départ, je reçois un WhatsApp m indiquant que nous n avons pas payé la location de vélos ! Sauf que nous n avons pas loué de vélos... Nous sommes restés 4 nuits, pas très cosy ni reposant. Nous étions contents de partir. Je ne recommande absolument pas.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel at Gili Air for four nights as part of our honeymoon trip. The staff had made the room beautiful and extra special. Super clean, beautiful room and outdoor bathroom, nice pool and the beach is right in front. Perfect place to stay, and very friendly and nice staff.

Incredible property on all fronts - room was perfectly decorated with lots of space and peace and quiet. Staff were lovely and helped me with a medical emergency with such care and attention. The perfect stay and incredible snorkelling on the beach directly outside the property.

Vom Bett aus morgens direkt das Meer und den Sonnenaufganz zu sehen war ein Traum!

I really like backside of appartment! Hamak, swings and little jungle! The vibe and energy of this place is incredible. The host is really kind. We also enjoyed to be on beach so quick and on place where you can snorceling.

Nextime for others could be helpful to show how and where is best to lock doors. But its just small thing,

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand und ist der Meeresabschnitt ist perfekt zum Schnorcheln (wir haben viele Schildkröten gesehen). Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und das Personal war äusserst freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Fahrräder konnte man für eine kleine Gebühr ausleihen. Das Zentrum konnte man in 20 Gehminuten oder 5 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad erreichen.

Die Schiebetüren zum Bad waren mühsam und machten einen Lärm, die von der Bauweise her nicht anders funktionierten. Wir hätten uns zudem etwas mehr Platz fürs Aufhängen von Kleidern gewünscht. Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig, Gespräche im Nachbarszimmer oder Aufenthaltsraum konnte man gut hören.

Il n’y avait pas de petit déjeuner. Par contre j’ai beaucoup aimé l’établissement, les Patron qui étaient là sont vraiment très sympa.

Magiczne piękne miejsce tuż przy plaży i rafie koralowej z widokiem na wchòd słońca i wulkan Rinjani.Niesamowite! Nie ma drugiego takiego miejsca na wyspie Gili Air. Zostaliśmy przywiani domową lemoniadą i odświeżającymi ręcznikami a pokój byl przystrojony świeżymi kwiatami. Na miejscu można wypożyczyć rowery.,aby poruszac się po wyspie. Polecamy też spacer wzdłuż plaży. Śniadania są dostępne za dodatkową opłatą i można je zjeść w barze przy plaży lub na miejscu przy pięknym drewnianym stole z widokiem na morze. Kawa, woda i kilka rodzajòw herbat są w cenie. Profesjonalna i milla obsługa! Na pewno wròcimy!

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Snorkeling Area. Wir hatten das Zimmer zur Beachfront. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Da die Sonne sehr intensiv war, waren wir sehr dankbar dafür auf der Veranda eine große Liege im Schatten mit Ventilatoren zu haben. Trotz des offenen Badezimmers hatten wir keinerlei Probleme mit Insekten im Zimmer oder Bad. Das Personal ist überaus zuvorkommend. Wir hatten nette Gespräche auf mit dem Eigentümer. Die Zimmer und die Gemeinschaftsküche sind gut ausgestattet und sind sehr sauber. An Kaffee und Wasser kann man sich dort jederzeit bedienen. Fahrräder kann man sich direkt an der Unterkunft ausleihen. Der Strandabschnitt ist sauber und es stehen Liegen für die Resortgäste bereit. Fußläufig sind sehr gute Warungs erreichbar. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und werden definitiv wieder kommen! :)

La più bella camera mai vista!!! Tutti sempre a disposizione per coccolarti ogni giorno. Ogni minimo particolare nella stanza viene curato dai proprietari e dallo staff! Camera super pulita!!! Acqua,caffè,the sempre a disposizione gratis a qualsiasi ora del giorno e della notte!! Talmente siamo rimasti stupefatti che abbiamo chiesto se ci fosse stata la possibilità di prolungare il soggiorno di 4 giorni,ma purtroppo per noi era già tutto al completo! Ancora tantissimi complimenti a tutti!
