The location

The bed was really uncomfortable and my legs are full of insect bites, and I saw roaches in my room.

This property is so beautiful right in the center of everything the rooms are smaller but it was perfect for me and my boyfriend and I’m sad we only spent on night here

The room was very clean and quiet. The location was excellent. I liked having a fridge and microwave in the room.

There was no breakfast other than coffee. The kitchen was messy and dirty. I had to clean the coffee pot twice.

Large two bedroom apartment, perfect to accommodate our family of five. Great location near a bunch of shops and restaurants.

The location was fantastic. A short walk to the Dona fela parking garage since I had a rental car. And a short walk to anything else in old San Juan! I had a wonderful experience with Sam the desk worker when I got in late at midnight. He made the check in process smooth and was so kind when I had a long travel day, and I genuinely appreciate his help!

Hubo un apagón de 24 horas, lo que provocó que estuviéramos sin agua caliente, luz, internet o aire acondicionado. El personal no da explicaciones, solo una linterna. El gerente está desaparecido (ilocalizable) y nadie da la cara. Lamentable la actitud del personal

Great location and helpful staff

The bed literally monopolized the entire bedroom - it was very difficult to maneuver around

The location was perfect for our trip. The 2 bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Every amenity we needed was available. The young lady (Katie) at the front desk was absolutely fabulous. She was personable and knowledgeable of the surroundings. She made the process extremely easy.

Everything was actually great.

It is a beautiful building in the middle of Old San Juan, and the room was amazing. The staff were very friendly and gave us great recommendations for dinner and breakfast spots.

It can be a little loud if you are in a room right on the street at times, but they do provide earplugs at the front desk for those who tend to be light sleepers.

Dark room with no window. I was surprised there was no access to an outdoor rooftop or courtyard. ..

The hotel is great, no complaints ..but the staff was outstanding!!! I saw three different receptionists during my stay and they were all very friendly! I travel a lot and they were some of the most helpful and friendly I have met in a long time. I have been to San Juan before and they shared tips and info I wasn’t aware about the city. The cleaning lady was nice too but I didn’t interact with her as much.

At one point there was no hot water but it was temporary. It’s an old city so I knew this could happen

Noise- arriving guests in evening should be told not to chat outside their room 8pm - 10am. Early arriving staff shoukd be quiet too!

Location was fantastic!

Noise level was awful because of rude guests and hallway echo. Also, the room was bright at night due to insufficient covering of the glass door and window. Really need blackout shades for nighttime.

The staff were very nice and very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a nice common area that provided a sitting area and a shared kitchenette. No outside noise. Very convenient walking to shops and restaurants.

One of the plug outlets needed to be replaced. The property is in an historic area, so the sewer pipes are "sensitive". Can require multiple flushes.

Perfect Location in proximity walkable to Most Tourist sites, Museums, and the fortresses. Many restaurants and a market was close by.

Two of the rooms were of adequate size, but the top floor bedroom ceiling was too low for my 6‘2 brother to stand up in. Parking is very difficult to find. We had 6 people staying, and only one roll of toilet paper. Needed to request more paper at the desk.

Fortaleza Suites is a great place to stay while you are in Old San Juan. As of family of we needed a olace to stay the night before our cruise and Presidential Suite did fit all of us. Location is amazing - you are steps away from everything! The staff is very friendly. I would say that the pull out sofa is not very comfortable but did do it's job to sleep one person. We had a lot fun sitting on the balcony watching busy night life of Old San Juan.

No complains - staying in Old San Juan you need to embrace that you are in the OLDEST city in the United States that has been affected by hurricanes multiple times.

Very comfortable place with a fully equipped kitchen, and even better location. Had no expectations and left very satisfied. Staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect for a multi-day stay. I would definitely book there again.

The property was in a great location. 24 hour security and a holding area for luggage. Beautiful interior very well kept shared kitchen for everyone’s use.

Was not the best for travelers that have a lot of luggage. Steps, stairs into the rooms was not an easy task. Our room was particularly small for four women coming off a cruise.

Old but authentic accommodation with a quaint shared area and indoor fountain. Felt very safe walking around the cobbled-stoned area of Old San Juan at night. The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the foreshore. The hotel is very quiet but I recommend you ask reception to turn off the fountain at night so you can sleep peacefully.

I like that it was safe for myself and my kids, there was a security door being watched by staff and also the location.

Very central to all Old San Juan and in the safer area compared to the areas near La Pearla. Staff helpful to store and hold bags until check in and post check out to allow more ease of touring in the area... Accommodations were as described in listing.. No surprises.. Older building (as most in the area) so when in Rome - Enjoy...

They allowed me to book very late when another booking fell through. The desk person was waiting outside for me at 1am. The location is also very central and a short walk to the pier. The building is old but beautiful.

No windows in the rooms and the plumbing isn’t great.

Amazing central location. Walk to all the sites in old town and many bars and restaurants.

No breakfast or coffee served. But there is a common kitchen fully furnished to make your own.

They texted every day, 9pm- 8 am dont make noise. But their worker made noise every morning 6:30 am. There was a power outage on the island, They didn’t have any generators. I paid almost $900 for this hotel. Also its smells mold.

I love it but the new fat Tuesday outside made me not sleep in the room. I slept in the couch cause music to loud next door across the street.

The new fat Tuesday may be good for some guest o get a drink but to loud for a sinday
