It's a good walk from the arrivals at Gatwick, and it was a bit further than it was led to believe and I was travelling on my own so even though it was summer and dusk, the alleyway is a bit longer than I anticipated and there is no one around.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026The property was very clean and tidy. Bed comfortable and bathroom was well maintained and clean. Easy to find by car and contact for property is available when required. The property is in suburbia as a room in a house, which is really lovely. Great details sent by owner for key collection and return. Taxi/bolt/uber will pick up at property and is approx 6-8 minutes drive from South terminal Gatwick and approx 10 minutes to north.
It was a bit further away from Gatwick than I thought when booked. While it is walkable through a park, the path is dirt and probably not ideal for baggage. Not much in way of facilities around the property.

The bed was comfortable but squeaked loudly every time you got into it, turned over, or just moved. There was a notice asking guests to respect a quiet time between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. However, we were woken up at just past midnight by guests arriving in the flat below. I do feel that more soundproofing would eliminate the noise complaint issues that the notice had brought to our attention.

Reviewed May 30, 2026Very clean and tidy, the shower was really lovely and it was so nice to have aircon during the heatwave! Check in was very easy. You can walk 20 minutes to the airport. I could also see the planes landing out my window which was cool.
While there is a small shop right next to the property, other than that you’re quite a bit away from any restaurants etc if you’re looking to get food.

Reviewed May 17, 2026Nous avons adoré ce logement ! Tout était parfait et très bien pensé. Les prises disposent d’un port USB ainsi que d’une prise anglaise (prévoir simplement votre propre adaptateur). Le lit était très confortable et nous avons apprécié les petites attentions mises à disposition : café, thé et biscuits. Le logement est situé dans un quartier calme et résidentiel, à environ 25 à 30 minutes à pied de l’aéroport, avec également des bus permettant de réduire facilement ce temps de trajet. L’hôte nous a envoyé des instructions extrêmement claires sur WhatsApp et a été très réactive lorsque nous avions des questions, ce qui a rendu l’arrivée et le séjour très simples. Nous n’y avons passé qu’une seule nuit, mais c’était vraiment top. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésitation !

Reviewed May 6, 2026Great overnight space for the airport, very comfortable and had everything you could need. Very clean and easy to locate from Gatwick, just make sure you come out from the North Terminal side.
If arriving at the airport at night, whilst the accommodation is only a 14 minute walk, it’s dark along the waters edge if alone, just something to consider, it was fine when I did it but for somebody more nervous it could be a bit scary.

Beautiful pub 14 minutes walk away next to the river and church. Also a weatherspoons in town for breakfast. Thank you

Reviewed Mar 7, 2026I loved how convenient it was to walk to the airport and everything was thoughtful and well laid out - such a sweet spot and perfect for my needs.
There was nothing I didn’t like for a one-night stay - I personally love a bath, so I always miss that. Again, personally, the bed felt a bit creaky at times when I was getting up and down (perhaps lower than I’m used to) but I slept great!

If you get a room on the first floor and have a suitcase it is a bit of a struggle getting it up and down the stairs. Although the place is reasonably close to Gatwick, you may not want to get up early in the dark to walk there. Might be better to pay extra to be closer to the airport.

El sitio es muy pequeño, las escaleras de entrada muy empinadas y en el lavabo hacía mucho frío aunque la calefacción estaba encendida todo el tiempo. También comentar que se puede ir al aeropuerto caminando en 15 minutos desde la habitación, pero estaba lloviendo y el acceso estaba lleno de barro.
