La struttura si trova in un ottima posizione all’interno dell’isola, usare la piscina è molto piacevole, la colazione molto buona, il personale molto cordiale

Non vengono effettuate le pulizie durante il soggiorno e durante la notte si sentono le messe dalle moschea che ti svegliano nel pieno della notte raggiungere la struttura durante la notte è un po difficile perché la strada è completamente buia

Luxurious privacy with amazing food options

Das Personal war durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Bungalows und die Poolanlage sind ansprechend gestaltet und machen insgesamt einen gepflegten und schönen Eindruck. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist der frisch gepresste Orangensaft zum Frühstück. Es war tatsächlich der einzige frisch gepresste Orangensaft, den wir während unserer gesamten Indonesienreise – von Java über Borneo und Lombok bis Gili Air – bekommen haben. Das war definitiv ein Highlight. Auch die Nähe zum Strand ist sehr angenehm und praktisch.

Preis-Leistung enttäuschend – zudem problematischer Umgang mit dem Korallenriff Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt für mich überhaupt nicht. Für diesen Preis bekommt man in Indonesien teilweise bereits Übernachtungen in 5-Sterne-Hotels. Der Preis wirkt eher wie ein europäisches Preisniveau als wie ein angemessener Preis für Indonesien. Hinzu kamen mehrfach Ausfälle der Wasserpumpe. Dadurch stand man beispielsweise plötzlich komplett eingeseift und ohne Wasser unter der Dusche. Das ist bei dem Preis und dem Anspruch der Unterkunft nicht akzeptabel. Auch das Frühstück war für den Preis sehr knapp bemessen. Es wird à la carte serviert, allerdings wird insbesondere beim Obst extrem gespart: Für zwei Personen gab es insgesamt gerade einmal zwei Stückchen Ananas, zwei Stückchen Wassermelone und zwei Stückchen Papaya. Das Omelett kam mit Toast, zum Toast gab es jedoch lediglich Butter und keinerlei weiteren Belag. Bei dem Preis kann man meiner Meinung nach deutlich mehr erwarten. Was mich allerdings noch wesentlich mehr gestört hat, betrifft den Umgang mit dem Korallenriff rund um Gili Air. Das Hotel weist seine Gäste zu Beginn ein und nennt die besten Stellen, um Schildkröten zu sehen. Dabei wird vermittelt, dass der Zugang ins tiefere Wasser problemlos möglich sei. Aus meiner Sicht fehlt hier jedoch eine ganz entscheidende Information: Viele Touristen laufen bei Ebbe direkt über das Korallenriff, um zu den Schildkröten zu gelangen. Dabei werden die ohnehin stark geschädigten Korallen weiter abgebrochen und zerstört. Gerade eine Unterkunft, die ihre Gäste gezielt zu diesen Schnorchelspots schickt, sollte meiner Meinung nach deutlich darauf hinweisen, dass man niemals auf Korallen stehen oder über sie laufen sollte, da sie dadurch beschädigt werden oder absterben.

LosBungalows estaban muy bien cuidados y mantenidos. La cama y almohadas estaban de 10. El baño tenía una parte sin techo. Con puerta para independizarla del dormitorio. El personal siempre con una sonrisa. Cuando haces el check in te explican dónde ir a cenar, donde nadar, hacer snorkel y los sitios de confianza para hacerte un masaje. Está a tres minutos de la mejor playa. Ves el amanecer, tortugas sin necesidad de contratar excursiones- por la noche andando estas a 20 minutos de la zona de ambiente tranquilo. Vamos un 10. Me encantó el sitio.

🌴 A Lovely Stay with Amazing Hospitality! ❤️ We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel, which is just slightly outside the busy and crowded area, but still only a 2-minute walk from the beach and all the main attractions. The location gives you the best of both worlds — peaceful and relaxing, but incredibly convenient. The owners are exceptionally friendly and really add a personal touch to the stay. The staff are also fantastic and took very good care of us throughout our visit. A special mention to our room attendant, who was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was always perfect. Breakfast was delicious, with a special mention for the fresh bread — absolutely excellent! 🥖 The new bungalows are beautiful and very comfortable, with a great location right by the pool. Perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Overall, a lovely, welcoming place with great hospitality, comfortable accommodation and an excellent location. Highly recommended — we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back! 🌴☀️

Mooie tuin, mooi zwembad, comfortabele bungalow met koffie, thee en zoveel drinkwater als je wil. Op een rustige plek maar dichtbij alles ( o.a. een prachtige snorkelplek op 1 min lopen). Mooi, met zorg ingericht restaurant/ loungeplek, heerlijk ontbijt! En vooral: geweldige staf! Veel goede tips en ze doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Heerlijke tijd gehad!

Location was 50 meters from the beach. The staff were exceptional - friendly, professional and helpful. They even went to great lengths to prepare us breakfast when we had to leave early morning. The room and pool were very clean and comfortable and surrounded by beautiful garden. And the Dutch owners, Marcel and Elise, were welcoming and friendly.

Everything was absolutely fine

The villas are in a quiet side street but still close to the beach and restaurants. The staff are all very friendly and polite and nothing is too much trouble . The rooms and gardens are kept in pristine conditions

For the price some more toiletries would be appreciated. Also the sound proofing between rooms is not very good-we could hear our friends in the room next door

Alles! Sehr gutes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Schöne Bungalows mit Outdoor Bad. Der Pool ist sauber und groß. Es gibt viele Liege - und Chillbereiche. Das Essen, Frühstück, sowie Lunch und Dinner sind auch sehr gut und die Auswahl ist groß. Besonders haben mit die vegetarischen Optionen und der leckere Kaffee (auch mit Hafermilch möglich) gefallen. Falls man doch mal wo anders essen möchte, sind fußläufig viele Restaurant zu erreichen. Die Lage ist sehr gut! Nur wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt lädt es zum Schnorcheln ein. Das Personal gibt Tipps bezüglich Tide und Strömung und verwahrt auch den Zummerschlüssel, sodass man einfach nur mit Badesachen und Schnorchelequipment losziehen kann.

Alt var perfekt. Værelserne, rengøring, maden, poolen, viben, atmosfæren og beliggenheden. Men især personalet og ejerne. Jeg er sikker på at vi på Sunny Rose har mødt Indonesiens sødeste mennesker. Personalet og ejerne gjorde vores ophold fuldstændig perfekt. Har aldrig oplevet så stor gæstfrihed før. Vi var lidt syge da vi ankom, men ejerne og personalet hjalp os fra sekundet vi ankom og har siden kun gjort opholdet uforglemmelig. Vi har ikke før følt os så hjemme på et hotel som på Sunny Rose.

At vi skulle hjem efter 5 dage :((( Næste gang vi besøger Sunny Rose skal vi minimum være der +10 dage.

Tout était top ! Calme et zen, emplacement au bord de la mer (pour aller nager avec les tortues le matin tôt) super bungalow très bien équipé (avec des petites attentions importantes : lotion et bombe anti-moustiques, bonbonne d’eau..), très bon et copieux petit déjeuner, personnel très très sympa. Allez y les yeux fermés, louez un vélo à l’hôtel, c’est top !

Todo perfecto. La habitación una maravilla y el desayuno muy bueno, a la carta pero completo. Está cerca de una de las playas, nosotros alquilamos unas bicicletas para movernos por la isla.

Fue casualidad y no es algo que esté en sus manos, pero nos tocó mucho ruido de fiesta de uno de los bares cercanos (hasta las 12 de la noche). Pero el hotel perfecto, no tenemos nada malo que decir.

Sunny Rose was ons favoriete verblijf van onze reis door Indonesië. Met ontzettend behulpzame en gezellige eigenaren en personeel. Ook de locatie is top. Op loopafstand kun je zwemmen met enorme zeeschildpadden en op heerlijke plekken relaxen en eten.

Absolute Gem on Gili Air – Even Better Than the Photos! I had a wonderful stay at this resort and would highly recommend it. It actually looks even better in person than it does in the photos! The Ambiance: The property has a fantastic atmosphere. The pool area is beautiful, and the delightful umbrellas surrounding it create a perfect, relaxing vibe. The Food: Excellent quality. Everything was freshly made to order and truly great. The Staff & Service: The staff were extremely friendly, accommodating, and co-operative throughout my stay. Thoughtful Touches: Because the resort is European-owned, it features a wonderful blend of local charm and practical Western touches—like having mosquito repellent thoughtfully provided in the rooms. The Room: The room itself was beautifully presented, though on the smaller side. It was perfectly adequate for me traveling on my own, but if I were traveling with a partner, I would opt for one of their larger room options (which I believe they have available). Complete refurb only 2 years ago so bathrooms feel modern which is rare on Gili Air. A lovely, well-run property on Gili Air. I will definitely return!

Sunny Rose is simply an A++. It exceeded our expectations!! The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the area around the pool is comfy with many lounge chairs and bean bags that can float in the pool. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the owners are very gracious and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious and made fresh each day to order and the location is just a 45 second walk away from the beach. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay 2 more days. Restaurants are plentiful on the island and Gili Air has a great vibe. Don't hesitate to book!!

After a disappointing experience at our first accommodation — following a tough trek to & from the crater rim of Mount Rinjani — we headed straight to Sunny Rose Bungalows. Here, we received an incredibly warm welcome from the Dutch owners, Marcel and Elise. During check-in, Izzy immediately gave us a detailed explanation of the island, including a handy map filled with handwriting tips. This turned out to be the perfect guide for exploring the island the following day. The recently renovated bungalows feature a good refrigerator, a wonderful shower, and a spacious bathroom. We were also pleasantly surprised to find complimentary water and mosquito repellent provided in the room. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. On top of that, the à la carte breakfast is excellent, featuring delicious coffee and fresh fruit juices. The resort is located in a quiet area, just a stone's throw from the beach. Tip: Make sure to try the homemade "bitterballen"!

Traumhaft schöne Anlage, vor allem der Poolbereich und Garten drumherum. Schöne Bungalows, super nette Inhaber und Personal. Nahe Strand und Schnorchelspots.

Frühstück ist a la Carte, wir mögen eher Buffet, aber das ist kein Mangel.

Das super nette Personal und die Inhaber, sehr hilfsbereit, wurden sehr gut von den Inhabern Informiert, konnten auch mit ihnen Deutsch sprechen 👍😃 es war sehr liebevoll alles eingerichtet, und auch das Essen war perfekt, sollten wir wieder mal diese Richtung einschlagen, werden wir wieder die Unterkunft nehmen, auch das WLAN hat bei uns perfekt funktioniert 👍😃 Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage bei euch 😃👍😎🌴

Kleines aber sehr angenehmes Resort. Sehr gute Mitarbeiter welche sehr hilfsbereit sind. Lage war gut und in der nähe vom Beach und Restaurants. Fahrad oder Scooter kann direkt neben dem Hotel gemietet werden

Jardin luxuriant avec une piscine au calme au milieu des bengalows. Très belle déco zone accueil et restaurant. Personnel chaleureux. Eau (bonbonne) à volonté dans la chambre.

Quelques bars du bord de mer qui organisent des concerts le soir et que l’on peut entendre des bengalows.

Lovely bungalows in a great location just a minute walk to sunrise beach. Each bungalow had everything you needed. Staff were great and added to a wonderful stay. Beautiful pool area.

Tout était incroyable !!! L’emplacement à quelques mètres de la plage. Le staff était souriant, aux petits soins pour que l’on se sente bien et que tout se passe bien. Tout était très propre !!! La piscine était merveilleuse et le petit déjeuner excellent et très copieux avec beaucoup de choix. N’hésitez pas foncez, vous ne regretterez pas !!! Je reviendrai.

Rien mis à part l’insonorisation mais ce sont des bungalows donc il faut s’y attendre.

Restaurant lecker. Wasser auf dem Zimmer. Jeden Tag Zimmerreinigung. Alles ruhig, da keine Autos. Fußläufig alles zu erreichen. Direkt daneben E-Scooter und Fahrradverleih. Tolle Insel zum Erholen. Korallenriff und Schildkröten direkt nahe Strand. Gut zum Schnorcheln.

Mega lief personeel, dichtbij het strand en mooie kamers en een heerlijk zwembad. Het restaurant heeft ook goed eten en een heerlijk ontbijt.

I loved these bungalows. Close to everything, beautiful pool, private courtyard, restaurant just off the main drag but close to everything. Super lovely breakfasts, loved the cats and staff and cat faces in the coffee! Super cute dining area. They had reusable straws, refillable watwr bottles in room.

Not the hotels fault but felt there is a lot of plastic in the sea. Indonesia as a whole needs to address this issue. More needs to be done to protect this beautiful area.

Nice bungalows surrounding a very nice pool. Nice porch in front of the bungalow where you could be out of the sun or rain. On the east coast of the island but easy walk to the center or west sides. Big room and decent bed. Large outside bathroom. Good breakfast ordered from a menu.

朝食が予想以上に美味しく満足しました。なので食事をよくここを利用しました。 施設も清潔で問題なかったです。海でのシュノーケリングに疲れてプールでリラックスできたのがよかったです❣️👍 ATM機が近くにあったので便利でした。

宿については特にはありませんが、私達は馬車がカワイくて利用しましたが少しお高いように思います。

Dejligt roligt og ligger meget centralt til alt. Flot rev med mulighed for snorkling med snorkling med havskildpadder uden for hotellet og spot for solopgang over Lombok.

Staff was very friendly and amazing, location is great!! Beach is close and they also have a nice pool. You can rent bikes and snorkel gear just next door. Breakfast was great, too.

It was all great, just we would like the mattress tiny bit softer. Other than that amazing!!

From our arrival to the day we left, we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the fantastic staff. Everything about Sunny Rose ticked the boxes, the best place we have stayed on our trip. We’d thoroughly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate in returning. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer.

We loved the Christmas style decorations in the restaurant. It feels warm, cozy, and special. Snorkeling just 50 meters from the beach is amazing. We saw turtles, colorful fish, and beautiful coral. This is the best spot on Gili Air for snorkeling.

Een heerlijk resort waar alles klopt . Leuke bungalows waar het aan niets ontbreekt. Zachte handdoeken die heerlijk ruiken. Er is zelfs aan een flesje deet gedacht die op de kamer staat. Een heerlijk ontbijt en verder een prima ingewerkte staff en als laatste een gezellige gastvrouw en gastheer.

The apartment was very clean and well-maintained, and the communication with the owner was excellent. Overall, it’s a place I can highly recommend. Great location
