New hotel. We had a corner room and the view was beautiful. Close enough to the city but very quiet

Rooms aren’t soundproof. No elevator, but the boys carried everything. I know the hotel is new in an area of boutique hotels. Soundproof should be installed. The young staff hovered during meals hopefully they will get training In these things.

Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und stets bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Extra-Wünsche beim Frühstück wurden gleich für den nächsten Tag extra besorgt! 👍 Der Fußweg ins Zentrum ist 2,3 km bergauf und durchgehend auf einer Straße, die man im Dunkeln nicht laufen möchte. Der Hotelier hat uns aber einen tollen TukTuk Fahrer vermittelt, der uns immer für 1,50 € gefahren hat.

Leider kein guter Kaffee zum Frühstück. Sah eher aus wie Tee. Obwohl wir immer „extra strong“ bestellt haben.

Great location little bit away from busy and noisy Ella town. Staff can arrange tuktuk to travel to town only for $2. Team is so nice and friendly. They serve outstanding breakfasts and provide extra services as laundry, drops to barber shop, suggestions for sightseeing etc. and panoramic view room on upper floor - something extraordinary for a budget we paid

Sehr, sehr freundliches Personal. Der Chef machte alles möglich und fragte ständig nach unseren Wünschen. Anscheinend hatten wir ein günstigeres Zimmer im EG gebucht, erhielten aufgrund Verfügbarkeit ein Upgrade zu den Zimmern ganz oben - toller Ausblick. Gutes Frühstück, sehr individuell.

The staff at the hotel are really what makes this a good find. They were attentive to my every request and went above and beyond what I expected. The breakfast comes with huge portions, with additional food available on request, and the staff were always available with a smile on their face. The hotel also recommended an excellent Tuk Tuk driver, Amal, who was super reliable and reasonably priced transporting me around Ella during my stay.

The WiFi is spotty and can be slow at times. Also, not necessarily something I didn’t like, just a disclaimer: The location is beautiful and tranquil, but not close enough to Ella to walk. Therefore the Tuk Tuk contact was a must. Fortunately he was awesome and always on time so this wasn’t a big issue for me.

The staff were friendly and willing to help with any needs.

The beds were very hard and the property does not have an elevator, some rooms are on the 3rd floor. Not particularly close to town

Wer sich ein bisschen Luxus leisten will. Hier ist er richtig. Das bezieht sich auf die Zimmer. Der Rest ist nicht wirklich als Hotel gedacht. ABer die Zimmer sind der Hit

The property is new and has a cute balcony in most of the rooms. Their string hoppers potato gravy with sambal was awesome! The staff is very kind and helpful and responsive.

Though new one of the bathrooms had a weird stench.

Wij waren hier vorig jaar voor onze eerste rondreis en omdat het erg goed was, zijn we hier dit jaar terug gekomen tijdens onze tweede rondreis. De eigenaar en de medewerkers zijn ontzettend gastvrij. Het eten is er heerlijk en tijdens het ontbijt heb je prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Wij willen juist niet in de drukke hoofdstraat zitten en vanaf hier ben je heel snel met een tuctuc in de gezellige drukke straat met winkeltjes en restaurantjes. In de omgeving is erg veel te doen van watervallen, grottempels en ziplines tot een mooi blauw water in een grot. De kamers zijn erg mooi, schoon, goed onderhouden en ruim. Ze zijn ook voorzien van koffie- en thee faciliteiten en een koelkastje. Mocht je in Ella willen verblijven, dan is deze accomodatie zeker een aanrader.

Alles was goed.

Große, saubere Zimmer, schöne Aussicht, Sehr leise Klimaanlage, nettes Personal, Hilfe bei der Organisation von Transport etc.

Etwas außerhalb

The view was really fabulous but the location was a bit tricky for our driver as the road is not very well signed and almost a dirt track. However, it was still fairly convenient going into the centre of Ella. Breakfast was good except everything was served in reverse order to what Westerners are used to, so we had eggs and toast first instead of fruit juice first, then eggs/toast!. The rooms were clean and comfortable, well equipped and spacious.

We couldn't get our TV working and in the end we solved the problem as it was a poor/connection to the set top box not a pay tv/subscription issue (the default problem solving for everything is go to their mobile devices, they needed to come up to the room and check). Staff were helpful but limited English made communication difficult (also the 3 young men entrusted to Front of House were constantly/instantly on their devices, rather than concentrating on the customers). Also, for anyone with limited mobility their appeared to be no public lift and all the guest rooms are a few floors up from ground level.

Het is best wel wat verderaf van het centrum van Ella. Er was toch wat onbeholpenheid of n gebrek aan ervaring bij het personeel. Voor n gezin van 4 werd 1rol toiletpapier voorzien voor twee dagen. Bij het ontbijt kregen andere gasten elk n flesje water en n sapje bovenop wat wij kregen. Prijskwaliteit toch eerder duur in vergelijking met andere adressen in Sti Lanka waar we logeerden.

The staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. It was my sons birthday, and they had prepared a birthday set up in our room with balloons and cake, very kind of them! The room was a good size, clean with a nice balcony with a lovely view of the surroundings. It was close enough to the centre to get a tuk tuk but far enough out to get away from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast was fresh and the owner asked us what our children would prefer, they were very accommodating. They have little puppy which my children loved and were happy to bring her our for the children to make a fuss of every morning and evening.

Owner is the best! Workers are amazing and friendly! Food was amazing and the room was very nice. Anything we wanted they got asap. Would highly recommend! I have allergies and they were very good and I had no problems.

Dulan the host took such great care of us while we were there. The breakfasts were amazing. The rooms were perfect. The location was awesome. We even had monkeys running around welcoming us as we checked in. It was a perfect way to finish up our trip around Sri Lanka, and I would recommend anybody staying at Jungle Shades. They bent over backwards to help us enjoy our stay and were so kind to our kids. Couldn't ask for better accommodations.

Everything was absolutely great, and I wouldn't change anything. Of course, it's in the jungle, and there are some mosquitos but nothing you can do about that. They did provide mosquito repellant so no problem.

A little out of town but that worked well for us as the Main street is quite chaotic. Staff are extremely kind and hospitable.

The shower head in our room was broken. Everything else was great.

The Hotel is very modern, and clean. Our room met all our needs - a large, comfortable bed with a mosquito net, a place to hang a wet clothes/towel, a balcony with a nice view, clean and big bathroom and usually hot water. Additionally, it is worth mentioning the very nice staff - guys prepared delicious breakfasts every day, they took care of our needs (e.g. they asked about the need to clean our room, change towels etc.)we received bottles of water every day and we always had nice conversations with them. We would definitely return to this hotel!

We had the opportunity to stay at Ever Breeze Ella for one night in Jan 2025. After a long train ride and exploring Ella, we were greeted with smiles by the hotel owner and sons. They promptly brought our bags to the rooms, which are accessible by stairs only, so it was a great help. We were offered a choice of welcome drinks also. We had booked 3 rooms which were all clean and spacious. Amenities and essentials such as soap, towels and water bottles were also provided in the room. The view from the rooms were amazing! Breakfast was included in our package and we enjoyed it a lot. One of the sons is the chef and did an amazing job. Bread, pancake roll with bananas and syrup, omelette as we liked, fruits, juice, tea and coffee were offered and every plate was empty by the end. I would highly recommend Ever Breeze Ella and will stay again without hesitation. Thank you Ever Breeze Ella!!

it’s in a developing area, the road is not paved, a lot of construction going on, mainly guesthouses crowded next to each other with poor infrastructure planning. The view is good but you look at another guest house and many of the ongoing construction. The worst is the loud music till 3 am of god knows what neighbor. We could not sleep one night out of two

we had to climb several stairs to our rooms as there’s no escalators. It would be a difficult stay for people with less mobility.

One of the cleanest places we've been in Sri Lanka. We had the best sleep there. Hosts were lovely. Small amenities like a fridge and a hairdryer in the room were a huge plus (didnt find these in any other place we stayed in Sri Lanka)

Brand new hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. We liked the calmness and the amazing views, only a short ride into Ella centrum. Very friendly and helpful manager and personnel. From getting a Tuk tuk, to laundry service: everything was made possible. We enjoyed our stay a lot and can only recommend staying at Ever Breeze Ella.

Nothing, everything was perfect. If I had pick one thing maybe the water pressure in the shower could have been a bit higher.

The road to the hotel is a bit difficult but we can make it. Two staffs are so hospitality, helpful and friendly.

The quality of the shower is not good, the water flow is small.

Everything was very new and very clean. The breakfast was great. The owner and the employees were extremely kind and helped us plan many activities. They give very fair rates, often much cheaper than rates in town

The hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff super friendly and helpful. I had a special request on short notice and it was still fulfilled. To perfection if I may add. There was even a cake😁!!

The water pressure was a bit low.

The mountain view from the room was amazing, the staff (Anoj & colleagues) was very helpful - they recommended to us great place to visit, Tuk Tuk driver and adjust the breakfast for us.

Be aware that the hotel is not in the city center of Ella but 7 min away in Tuk Tuk

The hotel is newly built, clean and comfortable. We particularly loved the exceptional view of the lush green mountains, which offered a refreshing change from the coastal climate. The hosts were incredibly kind and generous, fulfilling all our requests promptly. We also appreciated the stylish design of the hotel. Just keep in mind that it's a bit far from the city center, but if you have a car or a driver, it shouldn't be an issue. We had a driver with us, so it worked out perfectly.
