There was no AC unit. It got quite hot at night (I was there in August). Check-in via app wasn't great, had troubles getting in. (Once you're in, you'll have keys with fob so you don't need to fiddle with the app again)

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Ein sehr schön großes Appartement, hell, in ruhiger Straße. Im Haus guter Schallschutz, keine Geräusche von den Nachbarn. Lage sehr zentral und auch nah am See. 15 min Fußweg bis zur Badestelle in der Altstadt. Sehr freundliches hilfsbereites Personal. Ich habe im Vorfeld wegen einiger Fragen mehrmals telefoniert und immer sehr geduldig und hilfreich Auskunft bekommen. Der Umgang mit dem Zugangssystem Air Key war für uns am 1. Tag auch gewöhnungsbedürftig. Danach hat es super funktioniert.
Keine Klimaanlage und kein Ventilator. Während unseres Aufenthalts war es sehr warm. Der etwas kühlere Luftzug in der Nacht wurde vom Balkon abgefangen, im Schlafzimmer stand die warme Luft. Wir haben zum Innenhof gewohnt, dort hört man bei offenem Fenster den Verkehr von der nächsten Hauptstraße. Für uns stand kein Parkplatz zur Verfügung, wir hatten nicht reserviert. Allerdings wurde uns ein Parkhaus mit ca. 20 min Fußweg Entfernung empfohlen mit 24 Stunden Parkmöglichkeit und verhältnismäßig günstig für Zuger Verhältnisse. Es wäre schön, wenn es in der Küchenzeile eine Grundausstattung gäbe wie Salz, Zucker, Öl.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Das Studio ist schön und modern. Es war alles sehr sauber. Die Lage der Wohnung finde ich sehr gut, zentral und doch ruhig.
Es sind Kleinigkeiten: es hatte kein Abwaschmittel, kein Rüstmesser. Es wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass sie einen Ventilator in die Wohnung stellen aber es war keiner dort. Wollte TV schauen aber bin nicht auf die „normalen“ TV-Sender gekommen.

Reviewed May 14, 2026Wunderschöne und top ausgestattete Wohnung mit voll eingerichteter Küche, Esstisch mit Stühlen und Bank, geräumigen Arbeitstisch und Leder Couch. Bad mit begehbare Dusche und gemütliches Schlafzimmer. Die Wohnung hatte eine geräumige Loggia, die auch verschlossen werden kann. Die Fenster können mittels Raffstore geschlossen werden. Wirklich eine wunderschöne Wohnung in einem tollen Gebäude. In ruhiger Wohnstraße. Eine Querstraße weiter befindet sich das Metalli, das ein Shoppingcenter ist und dort alles zu finden ist. Gemütlich ist man zu Fuß in 12 Minuten am Hauptplatz von Zug.

Check in procedure pretty complex with App and welcome message unclear. Apartment was nice, but not the one that was shown on booking app with large bay windows and high ceilings - more moderate/standard 1-bedroom apartment. Limited amenities in the room and hard to reach staff during weekend

Perhaps a Nespresso capsule or a small bottle of water in the fridge could have gone a long way. All the tools were there: iron, TV, coffee machine etc, but none of those CHF2 mini things that could have made a difference.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2025The property was spotlessly cleaned and exactly as described. Great selection of white goods, kitchen appliances and hot water!! Wardrobe space, hangers and shelves were a good feature too.
We did feel that the bed wasn’t particularly luxurious and would have benefitted from having more pillows. The lift in the apartment block was out of order for two days which was inconvenient.

I found the access to the Appartment on arrival difficult. It was close to 18.00 when I arrived but the staff were very helpful once I rung them. It would be helpful to state in the entry instruction that the outer door must be pulled out towards you once the light goes green. Also for entry to the Appartment, the knob must be rotated to open the door once the light goes green.

Bed was awful, cheap pillows with so little stuffing you might as well not use them. For Air BNB money I would expect a welcome pack, arrived at 11.45 no shops open, couldn't make a hot drink. Lock on my room was dodgy, took ages to get blue light to come on to get in. Fair amount of noise from other residents out on balconies, my upstairs was either watching porn hub or filming for it. Ok but wouldn't stay again

Reviewed Aug 2, 2025De locatie is uitstekend, al is parkeren in het centrum van Zug vrij lastig en prijzig. Het appartement is vrij nieuw en eigenlijk van de meeste gemakken voorzien, helaas wel een beetje steriel en niet heel gezellig. Toegang is volledig elektronisch en werkt goed. Bedden waren ok, (slaap) bank iets minder. Alles was netjes schoon, ruime badkamer. De keuken was ruim maar zaken als een paar theezakjes of koffiecups ontbraken helaas.
Ik denk dat de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding een beetje zoeken is. Alles is vrij duur in Zwitserland maar ruim €200 per nacht voor dit appartement is toch wel een beetje veel. Zoals gezegd, het is zeker goed en de ligging is top maar er zit niets extra's bij (geen parkeerplek (alleen tegen extra betaling), geen ontbijt, geen koffie of thee. Verder is alles er wel aanwezig maar al met al een prijzig verblijf.

- there wasn’t the key to the building (but the app worked fine so it was okay) - not enough plates, glasses and most importantly, there was nothing to clean dishes with (a sponge, because when we cooked and one sauce burnt a little onto the cookware and the dishwasher couldn’t handle cleaning that) - lack of oil and salt, maybe some tea bags (even the cheapest kind) would be appreciated

Reviewed Jul 3, 2025The apartment was in a great position, according to my needs (near to the station and to the place I had a meeting), and it was new, nice and clean. Also the check-in and the air key worked very well.
There was no air conditioning, I struggled to fall asleep (it was too hot these days) and the pillows were awful, too soft, they didn't sustain my head and neck, so in the end I almost didn't sleep. Finally, it was not clear how to deal with litter, but I guess it's because I'm coming from abroad.

quite complex electronic key system that requires a prior installation and configuration of an app on a smartphone, then careful execution of non-intuitive procedures in front of the main entrance and room doors without assistance. The procedures are documented on one full page with small characters and every single detail is important. Once fully mastered, works well (on one smartphone only).

Im Bad könnten ein paar Haken an der Wand und etwas mehr Ablagen sein. Der Zugang mit dem Airkey war für uns etwas kompliziert.

Towels had holes in them. Child’s bed not made up. No spatula. A pair of wet men’s undies left in the laundry basket. Horrible smell in the apartment. Cushions smelt like urine. Duvet not wide enough for bed. Pillows horrible. Extra charge for a vacant carpark. Very poor value for money.
