Kent is the best manager I have ever met; he is very friendly and helpful—whenever we needed anything, he helped us with a smile, without hesitation. He is one of the reasons our stay was so pleasant.

Ken was incredible and very helpful. our room was also perfect!

Kent est adorable et très accueillant, il m'a aidé à organiser mon séjour, ma croisière etc. Il est très réactif et disponible. La chambre était spacieuse, le lit confortable et la vue très chouette (pas sur la mer mais c'est joli quand même). J'ai même vu les feux d'artifice de ma fenêtre. L'emplacement est très pratique.

The staff is helpful and accommodating. It is within the heart of Cat Ba.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was great, close to the town, restaurants, and beautiful beaches. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist us with tours and transportation. We truly enjoyed our time in Cat Ba and would definitely stay here again.

Хороший отель! Чистый и очень просторный номер. Работают приятные люди. При желании до пляжей можно дойти пешком, хотя, конечно, лучше брать круиз.

Location is very central. Staff friendly, rooms are clean. It is a crying shame that the Vietnamese government allowed a huge “Disneyland” style development to go ahead practically in the bay. All the established hotels, restaurants and cafes have totally lost the ocean view- gone! We will not return ever.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, Kent, the manager helped me with the transport from the airport. My way was smooth. The location is good, a few minutes of walk from the beaches, cafes and shops are close.

The room certainly needs renovation. After check-in I asked to change the sheets on the bed, as they didn’t look fresh, everything was done.

Kein Service für Getränke etc.. dreckige Zimmer, kaputte Türen. Wir hatten die Klinke in der Hand und im Badezimmer lagen noch Socken vom vorherigen Gast. Keine Reinigung der Zimmer nach mehrfachen Nachfragen

Our room was quite big, as were the windows. We also enjoyed chatting with the friendly guy who runs the hotel.

The hotel is not a quiet one – on the contrary, there's plenty of noise at all times coming from nearby restaurants as well as other guests. Not sure why by one local vacationer chose to shout in the corridor this morning at 5:50 am.

El personal es muy atento, dispuesto a ayudar. Te atienden siempre con una sonrisa. Aunque ya no tiene las vistas al mar, las vistas dan al paseo y la ubicación es perfecta. Muy céntrico.

La foto está desactualizada. Justo enfrente del hotel hay una paseo, al otro lado del paseo han edificado por lo que ya no se ve el mar. No le resta valor a las vistas, porque siguen dando sensación de amplitud.

Super rapport qualité / prix. Avec un super emplacement. Kent a l’accueil était super serviable et nous a accueilli avec le sourire. Toujours prêt à nous aider.

Pictures are outdated! There is a big construction side in front of it, so no bay view! Room was also not really clean, except for the bedding and bathroom, but dusty on the shelves and behind the curtains. Bathroom was very weird as the shower was in the middle of it

Walking distance to beaches and close to many restaurants. Also very close to bus drop off point.

Can be a little loud since you are on Main Street, but not too bad.

Das Zimmer war sehr dreckig, Haare von den vorherigen Gästen waren überall zu finden den, besonders ekelhaft waren die im Bett und Waschbecken. Ich sage nichts zu Schimmel in den Fugen, dass ist nach einiger Zeit normal aber Schimmel der offensichtlich weg zu wischen ist, an Fliesen und Armaturen geht gar nicht.

Excelente atención del personal e impecable ubicación! Tony es un genio, nos ayudó con todas las excursiones, también nuestro transporte para irnos bien temprano de la isla al aeropuerto. Nos recomendó formas más económicas de viajar y recorrer, y se encargó de organizar todo por nosotros. Estuvo fantástico!!! El hotel no tiene vista mar por las construcciones que están en frente (igualmente está bloqueada la vista de todos los hoteles de esa avenida), pero sí se ve desde el balcón un atardecer hermoso. El hotel está ubicado a pocos minutos a pie de la playa, montón de restaurantes buenos, el mercado tradicional etcetc.

La verdad no hay nada para quejarse. Si tengo que poner algo, capaz se podría mejorar la instalación del baño para que no se moje todo al bañarnos. Pero sinceramente no fue nada grave y no nos molestó mucho.

Malheureusement nous y étions pendant les travaux de l’auberge d’à côté, ce qui était un peu désagréable surtout le matin.

Kent the hotel manager was such a great guy, so helpful at any time of day or night, helped me organize a boat tour, organized scooters for me and my group. Just an absolute gentleman. Would highly recommend staying with him. 5 stars my friend!

We have chosen this accommodation due to the beautiful scenery view from the apartment window. However when we arrived at the accommodation it came to our attention that the view was generators by I guess AI. The actual view was of a building site of where the beach once stood. This was very disappointing upon arrival. The bathroom was exceeding this small and ants covering the floor, the fridge in the room was disgusting not plugged in and stank over when open the door. That was a gap about an inch under the main door into the apartment which we had to block overnight to stop any further creepers getting in. Despite this guy Kent the manager was actually very friendly and advisors of where to go during then evening We arrived. A shame for these local people trying to make a living as the development building opposite them currently being built is going to pay a big toll on their future living.

Very helpful staff, central location. Good value for money. Price reflects the ongoing construction across the road. Walking distance to restaurants and other beaches.

Very basic bathroom. Wetroom style shower is ok, but shower head was too high to use it without holding it. Location, central. But very disappointed by development and land reclamation across the road. No beachfront, view of construction site only. Other beaches still within walking distance are fine.

La photo ne correspond absolument pas a la réalité, malheureusement un complexe hotelier d'ampleur est en cours de construction sur la Baie ( a la place de la mer !! ) et obstrut totalement la vue. De plus , nous sommes tomber sur les vacances vietnamiennes et il n'y a avait pas de petit déjeuner pour les touristes étrangers mais un local avec des horaires bcp plus tôt !! Pour finir, l' emplacement est extrêmement bruyant , bruits des voisins, des restaurants/ karaoké ... je ne recommande pas si vous souhaitez des nuits reposantes et une vue mer c'est raté !!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The facilities were excellent, clean, and very comfortable. What impressed me the most was the staff, especially Kent Reaats. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Thanks to Kent and the entire team, my experience was smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and a welcoming atmosphere!

Kent was great, very helpful. Breakfast was good. We booked a day-trip boat tour through the hotel and rented motorbikes. Both very affordable and worth every penny!

The property was in a good location for seeing the town, getting to the beach and the host, “Mr Kent” was great organising a motorbike to get to the out-of-town places. The only criticism is that it was advertised as a beachfront property, but no longer is. I don’t hold this against the owners, they are probably as disappointed as anyone that the beachfront is being relocated.

- the breakfast included is rather poor (toast bread + 2 eggs omelette or a pancake + some fruit) - there's no proper ventilation in room, absolutely nothing is getting dry (and there was no rain season), I mean there are radiators and AC, but AC seemed not properly maintained (odour from it) and for two days having a few wet clothes and towels we couldn't make them dry

I had a comfortable bed and the room was spacious. I got upgraded to a front room that made all the difference.

I had no duvet or top sheet. I got a room change thinking it was an oversight, but my new room was the same. I was given a sheet in reception and had to make the bed myself. For cover, I had 1 thin blanket and a rather worn thicker blanket. Definitely not up to scratch.

Good value hotel centrally located . Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. No frills but a clean comfortable stay.

The owners were really nice and helpful. They booked the Transportation and boat tours for us.

We loved everything about our stay. Kent and Tony are just great. There English is good! The breakfast was provided with 4 choices. I chose the sausages and eggs. It came with coffee, bananas, and watermelon. The breakfast also had tomato, cucumber, and lettuce. It was great. The motorcycle rental was a good price. 100k a day. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. They helped me book a one day tour 600k, but the trip was priceless. If you want a cheap way to get to catba here is my suggestion. Take bus 109 from the airport to My dinh bus station (12k). The My dinh bus station is written Ben Xe My Dinh. Then take bus 34 to the Gia Lam Bus Station (12K). The bus station is written Ben Xe Gia Lam. The Bus will let you out within close sight of the station. It does not go into the station. Go inside the bus station and book a bus to haiphong (150k). The company is called Hai Au (https://haiaubus.vn/) . The ticket will read this way Bx Gia Lam - Bx Thurong Ly. The seats in the van are different prices. The front and back seats are 130k and the middle seats are 150k. When you get to the Bx Thuong Ly bus station. Using your google translator ask which bus goes to the ferry. Don't take a taxi its very far away and expensive. There is a pink city bus that goes to the ferry. (12k) The ferry is cheap its 12k. Once you arrive at Catba look for the city bus. (12k) Don't take the taxi its very expensive. The city bus will take you to Catba town. The whole trip should cost you around 200k. This is almost half the price you would pay by a company.

The best was the staff: Mr. Kent and his brother are the best! They are so attentive and helpful, truly good at what they do. The hotel arranges all the tours for you and they were pretty good.

Great host at the reception. Our room wasn't clean when we arrived, and when we complained he immediately changed our room and gave us really good one. Be aware of the constructions that are now all around Cat Ba

I would like that it was a little more clean. It was okay but the sheets had some stains (it was washed, but the stains didn't go) Also I would love to have more towels (they gave us only 2)
