My partner surprised me with this little gem.. I am a vintage and pink lover so this exceeded my expectations! Everything was perfect and receptionist so kind and helpful. Thank you so much, you will definitely see us again...

Very old house full of useless stuff from the old people, all the tables and walls with brits kings papers and red stuff. No place for bags. Some furniture was taken from the trash jard, looks ugly and dry disappointing

Le cadre est très original et chaleureux. Notre chambre était très grande et confortable. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Marcia qui a été aux petits soins pour nous. L’équipe est très sympathique et attentive.

I loved the strong British theme at Betty’s Boutique Hotel and the meticulous attention to detail, the staff were warm and attentive, and breakfast was beautifully presented; my boys had a great time playing pool, we stayed one night in the Royal Suite, and next time we’d like to try the Rose Suite.

Es war wunderschön und einer der besten Unterkünfte unserer Reise. Das Zimmer war liebevoll hergerichtet, es fehlte an nichts. Das Frühstück war super und besonders über den Willkommens Drink haben wir uns gefreut. Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderschönen Blick.... Wir kommen sicher nochmal.

Wie überall in Südafrika sind die Zimmer hellhörig.

Longe das atrações da cidade, que não possui Uber. Café da manhã gostoso, mas com cardápio limitado, estranhamos que haviam opções para pagamento a parte.

A acomodação comportou muito bem toda a família.

Como estamos no inverno o nosso apartamento era muito frio.

The entire space is beautifully decorated. Quite place. The manager gave us a tour of the whole place along with interesting information. Although I had booked for the wrong night, they changed my booking and the entire process was hassle free. The breakfast was nice. The indoor and outdoor seating is very charming.

On-site car parking doesn't allow multiple guest to come and go and park easily

Quirky Victorian Boutique Hotel. Room was huge and well equipped. We had to leave before breakfast was served but they provided us with an excellent Breakfast Box with Muesli, Yoghurt, Boiled Egg, Fruit Juice, Health Bar and Fresh Fruit.

The house is like an affectionate museum to British Royalty. It is great fun with a varied selection of themed bedrooms. As for the downstairs Speakeasy! Excellent.

Nous sommes venus hors été et l’appartement n’est pas chauffé. Nous avons dû demander un second radiateur d’appoint car nous étions gelés. La salle de bains n’est vraiment pas pratique, la douche se règle difficilement (brûlant ou glacé) avec 2 robinets à manipuler quand on est sous le jet. L’évacuation était bouchée. La salle de bain sent le moisi et la fenêtre donne sur les cuisines extérieures qui sentent la friture.

It's a superb hotel, with a very imaginative decoration. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. The speak easy bar is such a cool touch, so is the pool table. We didn't try the breakfast, but loved everything else in our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The area felt totally safe, and there's a beautiful view of the ocean from the patio.

Zeer mooie locatie met vriendelijk personeel. Ik kon de auto in de garage stallen. Vanuit deze locatie konden we fijn onze activiteiten verrichten. Je kunt er heerlijk buiten zitten en genieten van het uitzicht en de tuin. De kamer was zeer ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien.

Eigenlijk niets maar we hebben nog wel persoonlijk een aantal adviezen gegeven.

Everything was just so perfect, from checking in to leaving. Would highly recommend to anyone, we will return next time we visit Mossel Bay.

What a unique little hotel! The structure is solid and harks back to a bygone era, the furnishings are wonderfully eccentric and the staff friendly and professional. Really a fantastic stay in an amazing town.

Quiet location, quirky style, good breakfast, outstanding staff who helped with restaurant and tour information and bookings. The recommended game drive at Botlietkop was excellent.

Die Einrichtung war very britisch sehr bunt und interessant. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes liebevoll eingerichtetes kleines Zimmer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Themed on being very British decor, china teacups, tablecloths and gardens. Offer traditional afternoon tea! Welcome was really friendly, staff particularly the owner.. full of useful information and nothing was too much trouble! Breakfast great and loved the speakeasy bar! The place has a complete UK vibe. We have not visited any other locations in mosselbay, so we have no reference of comparison, but i would reckon this is the best place.

Sehr gepflegtes Boutique Hotel im altenglischen Stil. Sehr großes und bequemes Bett. Sehr freundliche Personal, tolles Frühstück. Geheizter Pool mit Liegestühlen und Schattenpositionen. Während des Frühstücks blickt man von der überdachten Terrasse in einen wunderschönen gepflegten Garten.

Die Royal Suite hat ihre Fenster nicht direkt ins Freie, sondern Richtung Frühstücksterrasse. Man sollte also die Gardinen geschlossen haben, andernfalls wäre der Blick von aussen ins Zimmer möglich.

We knew it was going to be quirky but didn’t anticipate the old tat that was in the apartment and hotel. Our mistake for booking!

Wonderful quirky hotel. All rooms have a different theme. We stayed in the Spa room Great breakfast. Friendly efficient helpful staff. Nice pool and garden area.

Härlig stil och skönt ställe!

Wir haben uns in dem B&B sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen. Die Servicemitarbeiter waren alle sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der Hammer war die Bar im Keller, die gut ausgestattet war. Man konnte sich alle Getränke selber nehmen und musste dies nur in eine Verzehrliste eintragen. Keine Wartezeit auf eine Bedienung. Abgerechnet wurde bei Abreise. Bis ins Zentrum von Mossel Bay waren es nur ein paar Gehminuten.

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Hatten die Royal Suite, fast wie ein Museum. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal und eine witzige Kellerbar.....

Whole package, lovely staff, really helpful and friendly especially Marisa & Lewis, accommodation was quirky and fun. The breakfast was really lovely and a wonderful choice. Thanks for a wonderful stay, hopefully return some day soon.

Place is clean and the ladies on site are very helpful. Parking just in front of the guest house (option to park securely inside as well). Room was very nicely decorated. Very nice à la carte breakfast and facilities on site (pool, speak easy bar, billiard and more!). Would definitely come back again!

The apartment has a very eclectic and inesthétique décore. Very cluttered with old furniture and strange wall decorations that creates untidy appearance . The old suitcases used as bedside tables are so unpleasantly dirty that it makes you feel uncomfortable

The hill it's on

Das Betty's ist eine wunderschöne Reminiszenz an die "gute alte" englische Kolonialzeit. Wir waren in der "Royal Suite" untergebracht, Sie war mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, eigentlich wie das gesamte Haus, samt Garten. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und schmackhaft, eben doch ein wenig "englisch", was aber nicht negativ ist. Das Personal war stets super freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass unser englischer Zimmernachbar NICHT mehr um 23:15 Uhr geduscht hätte und noch viel weniger dazu laut und schlecht gesungen hätte. Man könnte hier von Gastgeberseite her die Gäste bitten, da es ein altes hellhöriges Haus ist, nicht mehr nach 22 Uhr zu duschen. Abgesehen davon wäre es schön, wenn man hier überall von Wasserknappheit spricht auch nicht noch 15 Minuten duschen muss, wie unser werter Zimmernachbar!

we loved this Guest House, With a stunning garden to relax in, and beautiful veranda, a Speake easy Bar in the basement, it was such fun. we decided to stay a second day as we were made to feel so welcome, Lewis was the perfect host with his staff so attentive. the pool room had a large TV in which was a lovely room to relax in.. The apartment was compact but had everything in it and was very clean. we had fun making our own gin in town. lots of lovely restaurants. we would and hope to return hear again one day....

Slightly up hill to get back if your walking back from town but good for the legs..and ideal for us.

Alles was uitstekend. Vriendelijke mensen, ruime kamer (Rose), goede service, geweldige faciliteiten, bibliotheek, kelderbar, zwembad, parkeerplaats etc.. Het bijzondere van Betty's Boutique Hotel is de decoratieve inrichting en de goede verzorging. Je waant je in een sprookje. Het is zonde om er maar 1 nacht te verblijven. Wij verbleven er gelukkig 2 nachten.

Niets. De menukaart voor diner is beperkt, maar wordt gecompenseerd door restaurants in de buurt. Als dit hotel een ster-keuken zou hebben, zou dat goed passen in de totale beleving

The Hotel presents itself more as a home than a hotel. And a house cannot be a home without the right people in it. The staff here were welcoming, professional, charming and could not do enough for us to make our stay any better. Other hotels could learn a lot from Betty's Boutique Hotel. Recently I had breakfast at a well known hotel in London - the staff service and the breakfast at Betty's beat London hands down.

Room and bathroom a little small. Could have done with a little more space to arrange our items. Towels a little tired. Having said all that all the good things made up for a great stay with yourselves.

Warme ontvangst met een drankje ,gezellig ingerichte accomodatie waar je je ogen uitkijkt. Mooie tuin en uitzicht.

Parkeren op het terrein is wel mogelijk maar dan wel op een lange oprit waar de andere gasten achter je parkeren. Maar parkeren aan straat is geen enkel probleem. Het is er veilig.
