Kalyana Villa Gili Air

Het is een leuke afgelegen accomodatie waardoor het rustig slapen is. Alleen de moskee die in de directe omgeving ligt is zeer storend. Wij waren zeer tevreden dat zij iets speciaals hadden voorbereid voor onze huwelijksreis. We hebben de volle periode fietsen ter beschikking gehad, wat wel heel handig is om het eiland rond te rijden.

De eerste dag waren er heel veel mieren in onze badkamer bij aankomst (niet zo fijn), maar dit werd ook onmiddellijk opgelost. Wat wij persoonlijk niet tof vonden, dat het ontbijt binnen in onze accommodatie moest genomen worden, wij eten zeer graag buiten (de tafel verschuiven was geen optie want die stond vast aan de muur bevestigd). Het ontbijt was vrij pover qua keuze en niet bepaald luchtig, behalve dan de yoghurt. Er was 1 dubbel ligbed aan het zwembad, wij hebben liever 2 aparte ligbedden zodat je deze ook kan verschuiven al naargelang waar de zon staat. Mijn man ligt liever in de schaduw en ik liever in de zon, dus best wel lastig.

Estilo de la villa y limpieza. El personal y el servicio fue excelente, por lo que no tenemos ninguna queja al respecto.

La ubicación, quien reserve tiene que tener presente que para acceder a las villas hay que pasar por unos terrenos con una gran cantidad de basuras y de suciedad. La primera noche vimos una cucaracha en la habitación. Creo que por el alto precio que tienen las villa, hay opciones mejores en relación calidad-precio.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at Kalyana Villas and can highly recommend it. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. Our private villa was beautiful, featuring a lovely garden, a fantastic pool, an incredibly comfortable bed, and everything was spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The à la carte breakfast offered a great selection and was delicious every morning. We also arranged bicycles through the villa before our arrival, which made it easy and enjoyable to explore the entire island. Kalyana Villas offers a truly personal experience with outstanding service, immaculate facilities, and the kind of exclusive standards you hope for on a relaxing island getaway. We would gladly stay here again.

We stayed at the Villa Tanpa Nama. It was very well-maintained. Super clean. The staffs making sure you are looked after. Foods from the property were also very nice. The location is little out from the center of the island (port area) but it was good for us, calmer and quieter. It was closer to the sunset spots anyway. Overall we love our stay here!

Nothing! All was good. Just funny observation when in the middle of chill and quiet afternoon, the public center close by decided to blast a rave music 🤣 turned out it was weekly zumba class and lasted only an hour.

We had such a lovely stay at Kalyana. The villa was beautiful, and the pool was very welcoming. The staff were incredibly accommodating, arranging bike hire for us and a couple's massage in the villa which was so relaxing. Winda was really helpful ahead of the stay too, providing walking directions and information about Gili Air. Thank you to all of the team for such a relaxing stay!

Unser Aufenthalt hier war einfach traumhaft! Die Unterkunft ist blitzsauber und einfach toll. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort super wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war köstlich und immer frisch, und das gesamte Team sowie der Gastgeber waren jederzeit unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war der über die Unterkunft organisierte Schnorcheltrip - der für uns ein einmaliges Erlebnis war. Wir würden ohne zu zögern wieder kommen und sind sehr dankbar für die schöne Zeit. 💛

The villa is amazing, every detail is looked after. The staff is incredible. They bring your breakfast from Il Baretto (which you have to order the night before) to your villa at the time you request - it is VERY good. Everything was fantastic. We had a great stay.

The main living area had no mozzie nets and no aircon. There was only one large seating outside and no shade. Breakfast was very average. Drinks and food not available on site like other villas

Eigener Pool, tolle Veranda inklusive Aussenküche, genug Sitz-und Liegemöglichkeiten. Tolles Spa zwei Minuten entfernt. Zentral gelegen und mit dem Bike alles leicht und schnell zu erreichen. Der Quadratmeterangabe bei booking.com könnte eventuell ein wenig irreführend sein. Die 130 qm beziehen sich auf die komplette Unterkunft inklusive Aussenbereich, aber das nur als kleine Anmerkung. Alles in allem vollkommen zufrieden, der Staff unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Villa sauber, top ausgestattet und wer Ruhe und Erholung in absolut in absolut privaten Rahmen möchte, ist hier richtig.

the villa was very large and spacious and so was the garden and pool! It was well equipped if you wanted to prepare food at the villa or have drinks in etc. The bathroom was modern and clean. The staff were also absolutely lovely.

The villa was dark, in particular the bathroom didn't have much lighting. In hindsight we would have preferred to stay on the beachfront, there is a lot of development on the island so a lot of work going on and noise and would be closer to restaurants etc. A few mornings at 4:30am we could hear someone singing very loudly (I assume a local), I am a light sleeper so it kept me up for a couple of hours but its not the villa’s fault that it was in close proximity, I hadn’t seen it mentioned in the reviews before so I thought it should be mentioned.

Amazing Villa! Many thanks to Kalyana team for the excellent service! They were always ready to help with any request. A stunning pool and villa, very comfortable bed, and everything you need in the room. Great location, on Gili Air everything is close anyway. We extended our stay three times because we really didn’t want to leave. We will definitely come back! This was the best accommodation experience we’ve ever had.

Traumhaft, eine eigene Villa mit Pool und Garten. Alles top gepflegt! Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet (Handtücher, Seifen, ..) Wir waren hier sehr glücklich. Alles kann man gut erreichen und das Personal ist super lieb! Danke Elia und Danny für diesen Aufenthalt.

Ticking all the requirements: Amazing staff, clean as hell, small touches in the room, privacy, easy to find and the design is just perfect. So happy to have chosen Kalyana and you can book your stay here your eyes closed. The staff helped us with our boats tickets from Nusa Lembongan, big thank to them. We spent one week at Kalyana Villas and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The villa was amazing: all in wood, full of charm, and with a beautiful private pool. It far exceeded our expectations! The surroundings are calm, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation. The staff is absolutely lovely, always helpful and attentive. We would like to give a special thanks to Elia, our host for most of the stay, who was simply outstanding: always attentive, caring, and making sure everything was perfect – and it really was. If you are looking for a little piece of paradise on earth, a place to chill and feel genuinely welcomed, you will definitely find it at Kalyana Villas.

Villa itself is beautiful and additional touches were really 5 star. The staff were so helpful and made sure we were looked after.

Perfect stay! This modern, luxurious and spotless villa is the most beautiful on Gili Air. Everything was flawless. I highly recommend. The host is a very warm and lovely person, he was always ready to inform and guide us with any questions. He went above and beyond, making our stay truly unforgettable. Highly recommended! We spent four wonderful nights at Kalyana Villa in the one-bedroom villa and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The villa is beautifully designed, very comfortable and clean. The private pool and sun loungers were great with just the right amount of sun throughout the day. The staff were just lovely and always helpful while respecting the guests' privacy. Elea, the manager, went above and beyond - not only helping us plan the best activities while we were there but also helping us with necessary information even before we got there. He was always available on whatsapp and responded promptly to any request. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning ourselves.

What a beautiful and luxurious place to stay. The attention to detail and luxurious products left for us to use, make it that more special. The staff is so nice and very responsive! Loved the private breakfast and option to cook ourselves. Everything was so clean! Cannot recommend enough. Will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Honestly, it was all great, only the bed was a bit squeaky. the sheets were lovely and soft though.

Had a two night stay and wish we had stayed longer. Extremely welcoming Manager, cool drink and washer on arrival. Beautiful pool, out door area is lovely, everything you need is taken care of. Staff are attentive, but not intrusive. Probably the best built villa we have ever stayed in. Each room is lent a Tot bag to use which we found very useful. Quite location, we will definitely be back another time and will recommend to others. Do yourself a favour and book - you won’t regret it

Sehr gepflegte und saubere Anlage auf einer traumhaften Insel. Wir waren in der Villa mit zwei Schlafzimmern, die sehr stilvoll eingerichtet ist mit hohen Decken und eigener Küche. Danke an Elia für die Organisation der An- und Abreise und die Hilfe bei vielen Fragen. Ihr seid ein tolles Team. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Elia en zijn team zijn fantastisch! Mijn gezin werd heel warm en hartelijk ontvangen. De gastvrijheid was echt top. De villa was schoon en fris, wat het verblijf extra aangenaam maakte. Het ontbijt werd netjes bij de villa gebracht en was heerlijk van smaak. Het is een prachtige plek om helemaal tot rust te komen en even helemaal jezelf te zijn.

Mooie villa, vriendelijk personeel. Schoon en ruim. Locatie is goed, wel een fiets of E-bike huren.

Buiten was er geen comfortabel zitplek.

Words and pictures don’t do this place justice - it really is a little piece of paradise on the beautiful Gili Air and we couldn’t recommend staying here enough. The Javanese-inspired villa is beautifully designed and looked after and one of the most relaxing and private places to stay. The team have thought of everything and we really appreciated the attention to detail that has gone into creating Kalyana. From super comfy sun loungers and an outdoor shower to incense sticks and lovely teas we couldn’t have asked for anything more. On top of all this, the hospitality from the team is second to none ensuring you have an incredible stay whilst giving you plenty of privacy too. We were so sad to leave Kalyana - it was one of our favourite places on our year of travels - but we will definitely be back!

We loved it here, everything was so well set up, beautiful villa and pool, lovely staff who would do anything to help and great location. Ordering breakfast to be delivered each day was a tough choice as lots of delicious options. 5 nights was not long enough and could have stayed another 5.

The property was very stylish and perfectly designed. The outside area was relaxing and the private pool was amazingly warm. The property is well located down a quiet street and it is easy to get to the various areas of the island. One could walk everywhere, but I would recommend hiring a bicycle as adds to the experience. The breakfast that could be ordered through the property to your villa was delicious. Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful.

We loved the place! The staff was abs amazing (especially Adi who went out of his way to do things for us and accommodation our requests). The villa itself was wonderfully planned, furnished and decorated villa. We really felt at home! Thank you!

The villa was super clean and beautifully decorated. The staff are very attentive and made our stay special. Breakfast was good and they serve amazing quality coffee. Hadi the manager there was so helpful and went out of his way to make our stay more enjoyable and special.

The property is located next to a mosque which was noisy especially during the early hours of the morning but this effects the entire island too.

We loved our stay in the Vila, specially privacy and the pool. Staff is very kind and helped us with everything. We planned two nights and we finally stayed five, that speaks for itself.

Highly professional and warm-hearted staff, tasty breakfast, so many lovely and aesthetic details all over the place and always an open ear from owners site to arrange a bike or give a guide for great restaurants all over the island.
