The owner is very responsive. The check in process was easy. Yosang neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Yongsan Yongmum Market is nearby as well as many restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The accommodation is good amount of space for a large group or family. The apt is very well stocked and the washer and dryer was great. We also appreciated the radiant heat and AC options. Upstairs patio area is very nice. Uber got lost twice so enter "Cozy Yongsan Castle" in Naver Map and have the address in Hangul for your driver. We didn't take public transportation.

The main challenge is the 3 flights of stairs so if you have large suitcases, be forewarned. It is doable to bring up the large/heavy suitcases with friends/family members' help. We didn't use the 2nd bathroom's shower was low and a bit awkward in the rooftop room so we mainly used the primary bathroom in the apartment.

It was warm. It had a nice rooftop hang out area. There were coffee capsules and noodles provided for our arrival.

It’s on the top floor with no elevator, It is smaller than expected and thee are unusual rules about the lights having to be turned off by a certain time because of neighbors complaining. No view of the New Year’s Eve fireworks though the pictures and description sow that you would be able to see the fireworks, so this defeated the purpose of our staying at this particular place for New Years Eve. There were also strange rules in the guide telling us to put our garbage in the freezer to keep down the smell. That just doesn’t seem sanitary and made us hesitant to use the freezer at all.

Good place for families. The bathroom was spacious and the rooftop garden is beautiful. Perfect for those who like to chill for supper. The host suprised us as well with korean fried chicken on our last night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

I’m so glad that I chose this place for our accommodation . Yongsan Cozy Castle was clean, very safe, typical /traditional brick building outside but modern and fully furnished inside. We really appreciate the washer-dryer combo, the well-equipped kitchen, the lovely terrace with room and big TV, the beautiful wooden dining table with unique overhead lighting, the centralized air conditioning and heating especially the heated flooring, very nice & spacious rooms and clean & quality sheets, pillows, pillowcases and comforters, plenty of towels, clean bathroom with shower & bathtub / 2 toilets, great choice of hand liquid soaps, shampoo and conditioner, strong water flow from all faucets and shower head. My favorite was the water purifier (you can opt for cold, room temp and hot). The Property manager was very quick to respond to my questions, requests and inquiries. I highly recommend this place. It’s close to restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacy, churches, local Market, parks and playground (for our granddaughter). Yongsan is very central and it’s easy to get around. We used uber taxi most of the time because we there were 5 of us in the group and we also had a toddler with travel stroller and car seat. It was more convenient for us to do this. We also hired a tour company to visit Seoul’s top sights and Nami Island. I would love to visit Seoul again and will definitely stay at Yongsan Cozy Castle if there will be at least 3 in our group. We stayed for a week and the property manager offered a cleaning service that includes washing our towels and bedding. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at this accommodation- our home away from home.

There is no elevator to go to the 3rd floor. It is really easy if you don’t have a heavy luggage as the building is not that tall. My husband carried my luggage though as I had an ankle issue.
