Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Monsieur Paul is very helpful and nice. And the overnight Monsieur the night of 10/9-11/9 (sorry I do not have a name) was *incredibly helpful to rearrange the taxi M. Paul set up for me when my train out got cancelled at 11pm. Everything worked out great and I really appreciate the kindness and willingness to help of the staff. For that reason I would absolutely recommend La Confiance to all travelers. And thank you so much for having a 24 hour reception!
The bed in room 4 is kind of sinking on the wall side half, and there was a used body towel hanging in the bathroom when I arrived. They must have missed that. Otherwise it was as expected for as busy as you all are.

La habitación era minúscula: la separación entre la pared y la cama (por ambos lados) no superaría los 20 centímetros. Además, la habitación no cuenta con aire acondicionado teniendo temperaturas en el exterior de más de 38 grados. Para colmo, la moqueta estaba sucia.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Mont Saint-Michel is wonderful at night. The staff at reception was friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our backpacks before check in to explore the abbey.
Unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We were able to enter the room with delay and a cleaning lady was still finishing her work. The annex rooms are located in a backyard area behind restaurants where staff take breaks and smoke. There were many cigarette butts on the ground. When we entered the room we noticed a large number of mosquitoes on the ceiling that would bite us during the night. We asked the staff for help and were given anti-mosquito spray, which we sprayed throughout the room before leaving for a while to allow it to take action. The room itself needs renovation. There were old stains in several places and the window overlooked an abandoned-looking garden. The buffet breakfast was okay, but there were many tables with dirty dishes that hadn’t been cleared. We ended up removing the dishes ourselves so we could sit down, while other guests were waiting for staff to do it. It seemed that there weren’t enough staff to handle the number of visitors. I would recommend staying at one of the properties on the mainland instead. We had a much better experience there. Check the free shuttle bus schedule for your dates: it may run late enough to let you visit Mont Saint-Michel after the crowds, and you can also walk by foot from the parking area if you have enough time. The price is high and it is not worth it in my opinion.

We had to check in at a hotel on the mainland and luckily were able to leave our car there. A short hop on the shuttle took us into Mont St Michael where we checked into another hotel. Then we were sent to another hotel for our room. It seemed to be some sort of annex and finally we were sent to a fourth hotel for our breakfast! La Confiance may be very nice but we were puzzled never to see it. We will stay on the Mainland next time. The island is beautiful but way too crowded in August and so hot. We are both 76 years and negotiating the cobbled streets and the crowds with our backpacks was a nightmare! The food was expensive and terrible. Whatever happened to lovely French food for which the French are known?

Double Room #1 is very small, with a tiny and uncomfortable bathroom. In early August, it was very hot, and there is no air conditioning. The room is located close to a restaurant, and its window overlooks the main pedestrian walkway on the ramparts. However, despite these drawbacks, staying there was amazing because of its unique location.

Ci ritornerei!! Avevo prenotato biscotti e champagne in camera ma c’erano solo i biscotti e al check out stavano per farmi pagare la bottiglia , ma come ho fatto presente che non c’è mai stata , senza battere ciglio l’hanno stornata. A cena le bevande sono a parte e non se ne approfittano e le cameriere tutte molto gentili sia a cena che a colazione.
La moquette usurata è un po’ sporca per terra nella stanza … togliete quella moquette 😊

Camera piccolina, colazione buona ma scortese il personale (siamo arrivati 10 minuti prima della fine dell'orario e in modo non molto educato ci hanno messo fretta prima ancora di metterci seduti..) Priva di ascensore, ma in queste palazzine d'epoca rientra nella normalità

Estaba un poco sucio y hacía mucha calor, tampoco estaba bien aislado a las 5:30 de la mañana empiezan a escucharse las carretas de los limpiadores del mont saint Míchel y te despiertan contante mente. El precio bastante caro para el servicio pero estando donde está pueden pedir lo que quieran… Si tuviera que volver al Mont Saint Míchel probablemente no me alojaría en el interior pero si en uno de los hoteles que están justo antes de la pasarela, el autobús solo tarde 2 min en llegar y está pasando cada 5 minutos constantemente.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026It was wonderful to spend the night on the mont. We slept with the window open looking out on the quaint courtyard. Communication with the property was great and Paul met us at the bus station and carried our bags up the hill.
This was the most expensive stay of our trip. Of course the location was exceptional. Included breakfast was offsite.

La moquette era visibilmente sporca, la stanza dava sul cortile interno dove lo staff si recava per fare pausa e fumare. Non avendo né aria condizionata e né ventilatore, avremmo voluto tenere la finestra aperta per il caldo ma siamo stati impossibilitati a farlo per l’odore di sigaretta che entrava.

Le moquette, estremamente sporca, è sicuramente l'elemento che più mi ha impressionata; inoltre, l'arredamento è del tutto obsoleto e di pessima qualità. I bagno ha sanitari vecchi e risultano scomodo per la mancanza di punti di appoggio. Credo che la soluzione migliore per godere al meglio del luogo sia soggiornare negli hotel nella zona antistante alla passerella e poi spostarsi con la navetta che offre un servizio continuo dalle 7 del mattino. Unica nota di merito lo staff, che nonostante il grande carico di lavoro è sempre disponibile ed efficiente, ma questo non basta a giustificare il prezzo pagato.

La colazione: in convenzione con Le Mouton Blanc. Ricca, varia, ingredienti di qualità.
Dimensioni della camera al limite, ma per una notte ci si passa sopra. Camere non climatizzate: questo è un problema recente. Sicuramente in condizioni climatiche normali questo non sarebbe richiesto. Abbiamo dovuto dormire con la finestra aperta e a partire dalle 5 il servizio pulizia per le strade si attiva e sembra che sia nel bagno della camera 😂

Der Check-In war etwas umständlich, da man zunächst in einem Hotel auf dem Festland einchecken musste. Da ich mit der Bahn angereist bin, hieß das, aus dem Bus aussteigen, einchecken und dann einen Shuttle-Bus nehmen. Auf dem Mont musste man sich dann nochmals einchecken und bekam dort die Schlüssel-Karte. Es war mir nicht ersichtlich, warum diese Prozedur nötig war. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, aber ziemlich "abgewohnt" und bräuchte dringend eine Renovierung.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026L'hôtel est très bien situé, proche des plages. Le personnel est accueillant et disponible pour répondre aux questions. Le petit déjeuner est assez complet
Pas de parking prévu, j'ai demandé en avance à l'hôtel où l'on m'a dit que je pourrai me débrouiller pour me garer en centre ville (payant). Une fois sur place, impossible de se garer et à l'accueil on me dit qu'en fait un parking est disponible avec l'hôtel moyennant 17 euros... Il aurait été mieux de le savoir avant plutôt que de s'engager dans les petites rues quasi piétonnes en plein mois d'aout

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Śniadanie serwowane w innym budynku. Nie sprawiło to jednak problemu, z uwagi na bliska odległość. Bardzo smaczne podawane w formie szwedzkeigo bufetu.
Może oznaczenie samego samego hotelu, ponieważ na głównej uliczce widozna była tylko nazwa restauracji z nazwa La Confiance.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Die Lage war wunderschön, das teurere Zimmer mit Blick auf die Bucht und die Halpension würde ich wieder so buchen.
Ok die Zimmergrösse ist beschränkt aber in diesen Altbauten ist es normal und war dennoch für 2 Personen ausreichend.

Bardzo ciasny niezbyt ładnie urządzony pokój bez klimatyzacji z mocnymi śladami użytkowania. W szafie brak półek, brak szafek nocnych. W łazience wąska i śliska wanna ze słabym dostępem. Na korytarzu nieprzyjemny zapach. Śniadanie bardzo przeciętne, w innym hotelu. Rozumiem że płacę za lokalizację, ale mimo wszystko bardzo kiepski stosunek jakości do ceny.

La chambre pas tres agreable et petite Il y avais une tele mais qui ne captait rien . Meme si on va pas au mont saînt michel pour voir la tele . Et surtout j ai l empression que quand on passe par bookîng on nous donne pas les meilleur chambre .

Preis viel zu hoch und man muss einfach nicht in Le Mont Saint Michel schlafen - fahrt da tagsüber hin, am besten früh oder spät - inkl. Besichtigung Dom reichen 4-6 Std.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Die Lage…Ich dachte, es könnte romantisch sein auf der Klosterinsel zu übernachten. Darum das Zimmer gebucht…das muffig roch und ein winziges Bett hat. Außerdem hatten Hunderte andere auch die Idee den Abend/die Nacht auf der Insel zu verbringen…und gefühlt jeder davon hat sich vor dem Hotel aufgehalten. Es war laut bis 01 in der Nacht aufgrund der Besucher…und ab 05 in der Früh durch die Müllabfuhr und die Zulieferer. Dafür sind die Kosten für die Übernachtung dann doch zu hoch…

Kleine kamer met een klein bed. De kamer had geen airco waardoor het behoorlijk warm was. Om 6.00 uur ‘s ochtend werden we wakker van lawaai, denk dat de bevoorrading dan plaatsvindt.
