L'emplacement est idéal pour se balader à pied dans Amsterdam. La chambre est très bien équipée et super bien décorée. le prix est un peu cher mais c'est un très bon rapport qualité/prix Ernesto est très accueillant et donne de précieux conseils. Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés :)

Le bruit une soirée mais c'était très exceptionnel, un groupe d'étudiants fêtaient la fin des vacances dans un lieu plus bas dans la rue.

Great location. Ernesto was a great host, available and super accommodating. The property was clean and very comfortable with everything we needed!

The room was lovely and had a lot of fine touches added . Compared to many rooms in Amsterdam it was spacious and comfy.

There are 2 sets of very steep and typically narrow stairs up to the room. Not a problem but not a room everyone can access.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city centre and within easy walking distance of everything. The host was incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. As our room was at the very top of the building, accessed by several steep, winding flights of stairs, he kindly carried my suitcase all the way up, which was very much appreciated. It was a thoughtful gesture that made us feel well looked after.

There were a few areas where the property could be improved. Some parts of the room and hallway would benefit from a fresh coat of paint, and the carpet in the stairwell feels quite dated and could do with modernising. The biggest issue for us was the noise. We stayed during WorldPride, which we think is a fantastic celebration, but we weren't aware that there would be a large street party taking place directly beneath our window on both nights of our stay. The loud music and crowds continued into the early hours of the morning, making it very difficult to sleep. The host did send an email a few days before our arrival mentioning there might be some noise due to celebrations in the surrounding area, and he kindly provided earplugs in the room. However, the message was quite vague and didn't make it clear that the street party would be taking place right outside the property. As this is an annual event, we feel guests should be given more transparent information before booking, allowing them to make an informed decision. Had we known the extent of the disruption, we would have chosen to stay elsewhere. Unfortunately, despite the earplugs, we didn't sleep well on either night.

Amsterdam 4Holiday GuestRooms was ideally positioned close enough to walk to most attractions. The Room was large with small refrigerator and table. Ernesto was a great host who carried the bags up the steps and when we left made sure he was there to help us down with them. He provided us with cutlery and plates so we could have breakfast on site before leaving for the day. He was full of recommendations and so helpful.

Stairs were steep but we were warned about these pre arrival and they do give you an authentic feel for old Amsterdam.

The location was incredibly central, with the flower market literally on your doorstep. The flat sits within an old historic building with many of the original features in place, like the doors and staircases, but inside the flat felt very modern, with features like air conditioning and a bathroom that had clearly been recently renovated. A great mix of old character and modern amenities. The host was also very responsive and happy to help when we had questions.

Loved that it felt very homely! The location was great being close to everything we wanted to see & the bed was super comfortable

It is close to bars and pubs so was noisey at nighttime. I used the supplied headphones which helped!

The location was perfect, right by the flower market. We walked everywhere. We had the top floor of a historic merchant’s home, complete with hook outside to lift goods up and the beams inside for pulling.

The price seemed a bit high for the room, but it is a great location and in high tourism season. The street below seemed to be a congregating place for late night revelers ion the weekend. The host provided earplugs in case it got too loud.

the location was very central for walking anywhere. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. We had a great shower. The owner was very helpful and kind. We would not hesitate to stay again and highly recommend!

We actually liked everything. There were some narrow stairs to the room, but not a problem for us.

We had a really lovely stay here about a month ago. The location was excellent, right in the city center near the flower market, with plenty of great food options nearby. The room was also very well equipped and comfortable. When we arrived, the weather was very rainy and cold, so the room was a bit chilly at first. However, the hotel owner immediately took care of the issue and solved it quickly. After that, everything was perfectly warm and comfortable. Overall, the owner was extremely kind, helpful, and always reachable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place!

La struttura si trova in una posizione davvero strategica ad Amsterdam, a 10 minuti a piedi da tutte le principali attrazioni. Comodissime sia la fermata del tram che della metro. La stanza era molto curata, pulita, con tutti i confort che servono, in un tipico palazzo storico di Amsterdam. Ernesto was a wonderful host. This is a tradition Amsterdam home, there are some steep stairways which are common for this type of architecture. Our room on the top floor was clean and had plenty of space.

L'alloggio è situato al centro di Amsterdam, in un punto strategico per visitare la città a piedi.

Unico aspetto negativo è stato la mancanza del doppio lenzuolo nel letto, fondamentale a mio avviso per avere un maggior comfort.

This is a very centrally located guesthouse. You're in the city centre, a 15 min walk from the Museum area and about 20 min from Amsterdam Central Station. A lot of good restaurants just around the corner. A nice room, free coffee and water and a friendly host.

Staying here means you're in the heart of the nightlife area, so it can be quite noisy at night. It didn't bother us too much but if you prefer absolute rest, you'd better take another area in the city centre.

Our host and the location were superb.

There should be more details about the accessibility of this location. We were on a third floor walk up with winding narrow steps. This is a very difficult situation for anyone with mobility issues. Even without mobility issues, it is difficult to navigate with suitcases. The host is very helpful with this issue but is not always available.

We had a wonderful stay in Amsterdam and couldn’t have asked for a better location—right next to the flower market and just steps away from a very cool speakeasy. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. Our host was incredibly kind and accommodating. We were visiting during snowstorms and our travel plans were completely thrown off, but despite our VERY delayed arrival, he stayed up and personally greeted us. That level of care and hospitality truly meant so much to us. Everything about our stay felt thoughtful and welcoming, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Location is very central to all the best things: shopping, flower market, trams, museums, interesting neighborhoods (including red light district). Ernesto was MORE than accommodating - carried our bags up the 40 winding steps to the top floor room, gave us suggestions on things to see and how to use public transportation, allowed us to leave our luggage after checking out as we had a late night flight.

Only disliked the stairs and handrails BUT they are very typical to an old Amsterdam house. Bottom of shower base gets very slippery and tricky to exit -could use a rubber mat but maybe that is an American thing??

Mi idioma es el Español y me cuesta otros idiomas y Ernesto de la forma que fuera posible se comunicaba conmigo para que pueda entender bien. Es un lugar súper cómodo para viajeros que anden solo y que se manejen con sus tiempos a su medida. Muy recomendable el lugar.

Location is perfect. Beds were comfortable. Almost everything worked well. Good size for two people.

Kitchen sink didn’t drain but the owner fixed it right away. Sewer gas in the bathroom was really strong. Had to keep the bathroom door shut at all times. The decor is run down. At $400 Cdn/night, it was a lot to pay for what felt like a student dorm room. And the nightclub and its patrons a few doors down which we knew nothing about, went all night until about 5/6 am. Not much the owner can do about that since people spill out in front of his place. But waking up to someone barfing under the window is humorous but not helpful to a good night’s sleep.

Es difícil encontrar el apartamento porque es una puerta pequeña y las escaleras que son muy estrechas pero es lo normal en Amsterdam ya que son edificios estrechos y es el sitio que hay para construirlas

Fantastic location! Right in the heart of the canal district yet in a quiet spot at night. Everything was very comfortable and very clean.

The location and Ernesto`s hospitality. Although the apartment and furnishings are dated and the overall ambiance wasn’t particularly appealing, it had everything we needed for our one-night stay.

Access to the apartment was a bit challenging due to the narrow staircase, which made it difficult to carry our suitcase. Fortunately, the host assisted us with this. Additionally, the carpet looked worn and unclean.

This apartment was close to lots of things it was spacious and had heat and air conditioning as well as a lovely large bathroom. There is tea and coffee, a fridge, and a little table to eat at if you like. Jeremy met us and helped us carry our luggage up the Dutch stairs. He was super pleasant.

This property has very steep narrow stairs so don't come with large luggage or if you are afraid of heights or not in shape. There is a very active street with bars behind the house and the noise bothered my husband even with ear plugs that were provided but it didn't bother me without ear plugs.

Gastgeber war sehr nett!! Lage war Top, da es sehr zentral war und man eigentlich alles zu Fuß erreichen konnte. Zimmer schön eingerichtet.

Am Wochenende war es in der Nacht sehr laut, da einige Clubs ziemlich nah waren aber der Gastgeber hat immerhin Ohrstöpsel zur Verfügung gestellt. Bad war sehr schön aber konnte nicht gscheit geheizt werden also war’s etwas kalt.

Amazing location, easy to walk to all the major attractions. Clean room with a comfy bed and nice bathroom. The room was very quiet even though there are restaurants downstairs (there was a bit of noise one night/morning from upstairs but not bad). The kitchenette was really handy for keeping a few breakfast essentials - most accommodation we looked at didn't have this. We arrived to Amsterdam by plane, caught the train to the central station, then a tram, then it was a short walk to the apartment, very easy! The apartment is very secure and we felt safe walking around the area and everywhere in Amsterdam. Just be aware that the only access to the apartment is very steep stairs. Ernesto was very happy to help us with our bags but I think access would be too difficult for older travellers. We would highly recommend this accommodation, thank you Ernesto!

Ernesto was such a nice host! He was responsive and always willing to help. The room looked just like the pictures and we had everything we needed. The location is convenient with lots of restaurants nearby.

The stairs are quite steep and it took some effort to get our luggage down, but it wasn't a problem for us. This is just a heads up for anybody with mobility issues.

This is an apartment in Amsterdam, an old city, so the building is certainly not modern. The room was big enough for our short stay, and quite comfortable and conveniently located. Ernesto, the host was very pleasant, available and accommodating.

We had the most amazing stay at this apartment; this place is conveniently located next to the Flower market, which is right in the center of the city, we were able to walk everywhere from the apartment, lots of restaurants around, very safe location. We loved the apartment, it's a very cozy place in a historical building. Very clean, comfy and excellent service. Ernesto gave us a great welcome and gave us a few tips for our stay in the city, he was a great host, we were traveling celebrating our anniversary and he surprised us with a beautiful bucket of flowers and some treats. Highly recommend this stay!

It had everything one could need for a comfortable stay including a host who was extremely accommodating.

The three flight of stairs could be a problem for some but they were not for us.

We loved this accommodation, Ernesto was so welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much for him. We arrived early and our room was ready for us which was greatly appreciated. Everything you could possible need for your stay, big comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities, great air con which was needed as it was so hot! Great location next to the flower market with plenty of bars & restaurants around us. Ear plugs were a thoughtful touch but were not needed due to the great windows, we didn't hear a thing. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was large with a kitchenette. It was nice to have help with the bags up the steep staircase. The location was great for walking everywhere. Ernesto was always available and helped us arrange a taxi-€75.

It is very close to a bar that grinds out a heavy beat until 2-3:00 on weekends at least because that is when we were there. You are thoughtfully provided with earplugs which help some. The other downside is the sewer odor that emanates from the bathroom. The building is old so it happens. They do what they can with scent sticks and toilet scent that releases when flushed. We kept the door closed.

Big and comfy bed. Nice welcome. Great location, everything in walking distance (restaurants, shopping street, touristattractions), and the tram is 1-2 min walk away.

The apartment is spacious and well furnished, with a very comfortable bed, table for eating and 2 additional chairs to sit and relax. The compact kitchen had a good size fridge, microwave and sink (and coffee maker, kettle and toaster). Ernesto is super friendly and available to help with anything; he met us at the door when we arrived and helped with our suitcases up the very steep stairs. The location, in the central district right beside the flower market, is within 10-15 minutes easy walking distance to the main tourist sites, like the museums and the central train station if you want to explore outside the city. It's a surprisingly quiet location, except for the gay bar down the street (Ernesto provided good ear plugs so it did not keep us awake through the night).

There was some unpleasant smell in the bathroom (from the drains?), so we kept the door closed. It wasn't a problem for us, but the stairs are really steep!

Ernesto, our host, was very responsive, quick to reply to any question. The location is amazing, overlooking the flower market, next to the "gentlemen's canal." The large bed was super comfortable. For a couple, we had plenty of room to spread out our stuff. The kitchen are is sparse but included everything we needed such as a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and dish-ware.

As an older, UNESCO-protected building, the stairs are very narrow so be intentional climbing up/down. The windows offer a wide view of outside but they require some effort to open.

The apartment is in a great location, just a 3 to 5-minute walk from the tram line. Ernesto is a very attentive host — he helped us with our luggage when checking in and out. Since our flight was after the check-out time, he kindly let us leave our bags at the apartment. The house is centrally located, close to the Flower Market. It was clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. If we visit again, we will definitely stay here. Thank you for everything!

The location was great but the host was even better! Ernesto carried our luggage up the steep narrow stairs and also carried them down for our early flight the next morning. He arranged our taxi pickup and was an overall excellent host.
