Ella Nine Peaks

An unforgettable stay in a beautifully maintained rural cabin. The service was exceptional and truly personalized, especially thanks to Shashi and JD, who made us feel at home from the very beginning. They recommended some wonderful activities, and we enjoyed two amazing excursions with them: a Buddhist temple in the nearby mountains and Diyaluma waterfalls, with Shashi as our guide. The homemade food was delicious and perfectly suited to our tastes. We felt incredibly privileged, as if we had the whole place to ourselves and were simply staying in our own home. Highly recommended!

This is not a negative, but it is worth mentioning that the access to the property is around 20–30 minutes from Ella.

Amazing views in middle of nature and a tastefully done property. The room and bathroom was beautiful with the bathroom being partly open. The breakfast area was so peaceful and the food was served well with all due preparations. We went in winters so couldn't use the Jacuzzi, but everything looked out of a fairy tale. The staff was very friendly and cordial.

There were too many stray dogs that specially came around during meals and my friend was scared of them.

Es un lugar con mucho encanto. Las vistas son espectaculares y la tranquilidad de la zona. La habitación tiene salida a un porcho donde puedes sentarte y solo mirar las vistas con una taza de te o café. Está a media hora en coche a Ella ciudad, pero para ir a hacer actividades es un buen lugar si quieres disfrutar de las vistas de la zona. Si te quedas en Ella tendrás más restaurantes pero hay más ruido y no tendrás estas vistas. La habitación y decoración de la zona del porcho es tipo colonial, con mucho detalle y muy bonito. El jardín también muy agradable.

La habitación para dos es perfecta. Nosotros fuimos con nuestros dos hijos, y había dos plegatines para ellos. Si bien la cama principal era cómoda, los plegatines no tanto. Pedimos una cena, y no nos gustó mucho la comida.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Ella. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our visit, always available whenever we needed anything. Their kindness made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, we felt at home during our time here thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ella.

Tres beau séjour dans cet hôtel. Nous étions deux familles de 4 et étions les seuls du coup dans cet hôtel avec 3 rooms Très belle vue et personnel très gentil et serviable. Super salle de bains extérieures. Petit bémol : un peu loin d Ella.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’emplacement de la propriété, à l’écart de la ville, offrant un cadre calme et reposant. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir la villa pour nous seuls pendant deux nuits, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus spéciale. Shashi et son équipe ont été aux petits soins tout au long de notre séjour, avec une attention constante et chaleureuse. La nourriture était délicieuse, et la cuisinière nous a fait découvrir de savoureux plats locaux. Nous vous recommandons de leur faire entièrement confiance. Un séjour paisible, idéal pour se ressourcer et profiter du calme.

Because of the location and being a group of 4, a lot of drivers/TikTok’s were reluctant to travel that far so a shuttle service at certain times of the day would be a great addition

Amazing location and great facilities. We loved the pool, the communal seating area and the bathroom. JD was a credit to the property, he was professional and friendly. JD was present when we needed him without being visible all the time and he was very respectful. Ella Nine Peaks should definitely keep hold of him!! We had food in the evening which was tasty and plentiful and the breakfast was also very good. We would've loved to have stayed longer but we were on a tight schedule and didn't realise how much we would love this place! It's also ideal if you are part of a group due to the layout of the villas. There was a problem with driver accommodation which we were not made aware of before our arrival but we managed to sort it by paying a reduced rate for another room. We have known our driver/guide for over 10 years and we were happy to pay the extra. We visit Sri Lanka at least once a year, we will definitely stay here again!

It would have been good to have been told there was no water to the driver/guide accommodation before we arrived but we were thankful there were vacant rooms and we could pay a reduced rate so they didn't have to find accommodation elsewhere.

We had an exceptional stay at Nine Peaks, it exceeded our expectations! The room was cute and very clean, so was the bathroom. The view was breathtaking, if you like peace and quiet this is perfect! The staff was incredibly friendly and caring. Our highlight was that one of the hosts took us through the jungle to a hidden temple, he took us to a hidden waterfall and tried some local food with us.

We had a very nice time at Nine Peaks Clubresort at Ella. A special 'thank you' to JD for an outstanding service.

Nine Peaks is located very high up so you need transport. Also very windy, but beautiful.

Het personeel was aardig en het uitzicht geweldig. Qua locatie ook top als je vanuit het zuiden komt en niet verder naar het Noorden wil reizen.

Het eten was ondermaats. Hoe mooi het ook omschreven staat op de kaart met verhalen over dagverse ingrediënten etc... In praktijk viel het flink tegen. De pizza was zelfs vies. Ook de accomodatie zelf mag meer liefde krijgen. Het voelde soms vies en veelal ook versleten aan.

Beautiful location with great style. It's far from center of town and worth the distance for how beautiful the environment was. Epic sunrise, good food, amazing views.

Our stay in Ella Nine Peaks was fabulous. The location is further from the road and the village, so it's very peaceful there. The road there is a little bit tricky, but we managed (even with the car for 8 people). We booked 2 rooms in the colonial styled house with a great atmosphere. The rooms are next to each other and share a spacious veranda with a huge table, sofa and chairs, so we had enough space for us. We ate either there or on a podium on a rock nearby with an amazing view. For en extra fee we could go to the pool. And one evening we sat by the fire. The rooms are comfortable, hot water was working perfectly. The staff was great, always helping us and taking a good care of us. The food was delicious.

Hotel położony w przepięknym miejscu. Śniadanie z widokiem. Przemiła i pomocna obsługa. Dania z kuchni lankijskiej przepyszne.

Brak dostępu do baseniku dla pokoi hotelowych usytuowanych na dole. Może nie doczytaliśmy że tak jest, ale fajnie by było jak by każdy mógł skorzystać. Dania europejskie typu pizza czy frytki nie bardzo przypominały znane nam smaki, więc dzieci nie były zbyt zadowolone.

Lot of noise from other rooms and loud music from the village close by. The bathroom needs to be upgraded and shower area needs to be cleaner.

We stayed 3 nights at Ella nine peaks and I wish we stayed longer. The location is a little out of the way but this is compensated by the beautiful views, fresh air and quaint rooms. We woke to birdsong every morning and even saw fireflies on the roof at night. The showers deserve a special mention too. We were a group of 6 so we had the whole villa to ourselves which was wonderful. Roshan and Bandara took such good care of us and were very attentive. We found ourselves missing them, our conversations and the amazing food they served us (Bandara is the best cook!) as much as our stay there.

Great place with lovely views, the breakfast could be improved for this price. Comfortable and very clean room!

Breakfast was great. I wish they would have a buffet rather than restrcting the quantity of food one can have. Also this should be mentioned in the booking stage. Set menu with set quantity. Rest everything was great.

Suggesting to have hair dryers in the rooms as it's very important to have one for ladies.

This property is beautiful, the photos do not do it justice, it is much better in real life. The view is incredible and the staff are so friendly and kind. We loved our stay. The food was delicious and being fully in nature was ideal.

The other guests in the villa next door were really noisy on the first night and really inconsiderate which kept us up till gone midnight. The walls are thin so you hope to have nice considerate guests during your stay.

It's located away from Ella and secluded, high up on the mountain. The owner has taken efforts and the good taste can be seen in the choice of furniture, the bathroom, the out lobby, the top view deck. Beautiful scenery in the day and amazing quite in the night, the place is subtly lite. The staff is cordial and friendly and smiling. Worth the stay here. A place to stay for many days.

There is a constant water tank pipes noise thro the night. When all is quite, its disturbing. Something has to be done about it. Change the system, please. Your view in the front side is really good, a vantage point. Now some trees newly planted have started obstructing the view. Its your USP. Dont plant such plants or trees. Replant those that are now ruining the fabulous view.

Fabulous setting-so peaceful and surrounded by countryside, friendly hosts, delicious food and the rooms and bathrooms were delightful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Set up was acceptable

Pictures were nice but in reality it was bad ! Too far away from the town ! It’s hidden in a jungle with lots of spiders and insects ! Very bad service with staffs who don’t understand proper English.

The cottage was incredibly relaxing and the outside area was also tranquil and setting you in a peaceful mode. It was raining and foggy when we came and we couldn't see the landscape around us but still we enjoyed our stay there. We could hear the nature around us the entire night. The food was amazing sri lankan food and the host was super attentive of our needs. Is definitely one of the best locations we visited in Sri Lanka.

Stunning views. Delicious local kitchen. Lovely staff. Nice local (really secret) waterfall. And a really tasteful accommodation. It’s a bit far from Ella, but they organised us a friended Tuk Tuk driver who showed us all Ella’s must-seen’s at a really fair price.

Honestly everything was amazing. We had the best time there. The place was so cozy and beautiful! Everything was well thought through. The staff was very attentive and kind, always with a big smile. The food was so damn good!! We had most of our meals from the villa. Also visited the near by waterfall which was a great adventure for us. I highly recommend this place if your visiting Ella and I will definitely come back again.

We absolutely loved everything here! On one hand, the house has a nice design at an amazing location, the garden and the breakfast spot with the mountain-view are super nice, everything looks like on the pictures. On the other hand, the staff is super helpful and definitely the best here! We cannot thank you enough, Nalin! Food was always amazing, we took the traditional options. They even arranged a scooter and laundry service for us for a good price. It’s a much recommended place if you want to spend some time in a calm and relaxing location with beautiful views.

Only one thing could be improved - size of mosquitos net (existing makes the bed much smaller then it is).

We booked the full villa for the family. Located in an amazing location where the view is breathtaking. You can even see the Kurulangalala rock where they have Fresco paintings older than Sigiriya. Staff is so friendly. Food was amazing. I tried all their in house fire wood pizzas. Tastes like the authentic. Thumbs up for the food. Bedrooms are very nice and cozy. Linen is super comfy. I will definitely comeback. Thank you Araliya Villa !!!
