There were a lot of extension leads around the room which wasn't to bad but the kettle one in particular did have a bit of a loose connection. The other thing was the toilet and the shower were outside the room in the hall way.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Good location. Irina really went above and beyond to allow us to get an earlier check-in after one of our drivers was due to arrive earlier than expected. The communication was instantly responded to. Her willingness to to turn the room around to accommodate this unforseen circumstance was a credit to her business. The driver rated his stay 10/10. I would definitely book this place again.

Shower head was old and in need of replacing. Didn't like the extra charge to have your own bathroom. Price did not reflect facilites. Bed was uncomfortable.

Everything was great, only thing was a shared bathroom on the top floor. So next time we stay we will book the other rooms with the en suite bathroom

I booked this accommodation at around 7:30pm for an urgent same-day stay, and we arrived at approximately 10pm with our baby. On arrival, we were informed that the property does not allow children and we were refused entry. This restriction was not clearly visible or highlighted during the booking process. As a result, my family, including our baby, was left stranded late at night in the rain with nowhere to stay. The property offered no alternative solution, support, or flexibility, and advised us to contact Booking.com instead. Despite the fact that we did not cancel and the service was not provided, the property has refused to issue a refund. This experience was extremely disappointing and unhelpful as the listing was not as clear as it should have been.

I'm not a big fan of Smart TV's, I would prefer Freeview channels with current news and sports. Parking can be an issue on match day.

The rooms are warm, clean and comfortable. I have stayed in a room with a shared and private bathroom, both of which have been absolutely fine.

Would have liked more hanging space for clothes and felt the chest of drawers was a bit unnecessary for our use. Also maybe a lock on the external bathroom to leave personal things in. Like toiletries etc. Also there's no allocated parking just the road outside . Hotel was awkward to find at first as not much signage.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025The host, Irina, was fabulous - very welcoming and obviously takes great pride in the property. The room I had "Juliette" was very pretty, with a lot of attention to detail. The location was fabulous - a 30 minute walk to Franklin's Gardens, with lots of places to eat nearby. Parking was free and plentiful. Coffee was supplied in a jar which was a nice touch.
There was no hairdryer, my fault for not checking in advance!
