This place is such a good choice when you are in Fes. The staff meets you with a smile every single time. You are welcommed with mint tea and they show you the map of Fes medina, telling you where everything is. I even got my room upgraded upon arrival, which was a really nice surprise. The breakfast at the rooftop is very delicious and they serve you a lot to choose from. Highly recommend this place.

É a segunda vez que estamos a percorrer Marrocos de norte a sul e foi a primeira vez que nos receberam com uma explicação pormenorizada sobre a cidade, mapa detalhado, incluindo locais a visitar, sugestões etc. Ambos os anfitriões são super prestáveis e simpáticos! A localização é excelente, fica perto de uma das entradas da Medina e tem um parque de estacionamento privado ao lado onde podemos deixar os carros, caso seja necessário. O pequeno-almoço era delicioso e muito variado. Uma experiência a repetir caso voltemos a Fez!

Ganz herzliches und unglaublich hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr persönlich und warmherzig. Zimmer sauber, insgesamt sehr ruhig. Tolle Lage am Rande der Medina, so dass man auch mit dem Taxi direkt hinkommt. Wir haben auch den Transferservice genutzt, um nachts vom Flughafen zur Unterkunft zu kommen. Hat einwandfrei geklappt. Frühstück sehr umfangreich und schön auf der Dachterrasse zu genießen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Dar uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Ganz besonderen Dank an Redouane! Er hat uns bei allen Anliegen unterstützt und meinen Mann sogar mit zum Friseur genommen :) Eine eindeutige 10 von 10.

Bardzo miły personel, bardzo, bardzo pomocny. Zostaliśmy przyjęci z dnia na dzień jak rodzina. Natychmiastowy kontakt z właścicielem, który załatwił nam transport z dworca. Pokoje urządzone przepięknie, z dużym smakiem i wyczuciem. W łazience wszystko, co trzeba. Śniadanie na tarasie z przepięknym widokiem przerosło nasze oczekiwania

Il propietario Abde del Darl è una persona speciale, educata, solare e gentilissimo. Ha aiutato iin qualsiasi cosa avessi bisogno io e la mia famiglia dalle piccole cose (es. ad una merenda per mia figlia) a risolvere un problema che avevamo noi con in noleggio della macchina, senza voler nulla in cambio. La stanza è molto grande e soprattutto pulita. Il servizio delle pulizie è giornaliero. Importante per noi è stata la macchina che ci ha aiutato a parcheggiare vicinissimi al soggiorno. il Top!

Direttamente nella medina con il parcheggio fuori dalla struttura, l'accoglienza é stata perfetta e la stanza anche. Ci é stato consigliato un ristorante dove abbiamo mangiato molto bene, hanno fatto venire per noi una guida ed abbiamo usufruito del servizio lavanderia, non ci é stato fatto mancare nulla. Grazie, se ritorneremo a Fez ritorneremo sicuramente quí.

Très bon emplacement, excellent accueil avec un thé à la menthe et des explications/fourniture d'un plan de la médina. Le Dar est magnifiquement décoré et le personnel et très accueillant. Le petit déjeuner était excellent (fruits, pancake, pain, crêpes, omelette...) et on a même un le lavage de nos affaires offert.

Il y aurait eu un petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre et des oreillers un peu plus ferme, c'était la perfection.

Struttura top a ridosso della Medina, ben gestita, confortevole, pulita e con uno staff davvero eccezionale. Il proprietario ci ha accolti al nostro arrivo e ci ha riservato un posto gratuito subito fuori il Riad per parcheggiare il nostro mezzo a 9 posti, ci ha fornito una mappa e spiegato tutte le attrattive del posto oltre ad averci messo a disposizione una guida, che parlava italiano, per il nostro tour nella Medina. Sul posto era sempre presente Red Wine, un ragazzo favoloso che ha esaudito tutte le nostre esigenze!

El personal muy amable, muy atentos, preocupados de cada detalle

Ahmed og Redouane kontaktede mig personligt inden ankomst og bød mig velkommen. Og da jeg ankom til destinationen med bil stod de klar og sørgede for at min bil kunne parkeres sikkert. Hele deres Riad er en perle. Og få meter fra Bab Ziat indgang. Det betyder meget hvis man ikke vil gå langt. Deres Riad har den fordel at du ikke skal gå langt og dybt inde i den gamle bydel, Fez Al bali, hvor man kan fare vild. Den er bogstavelig talt få meter fra Bab Ziat, Max 20 meter. Det var rent, of sengetøjet var også rent. Airconditionanlægget virkede. Vi var 4 personer dvs to voksne og to børn, på 10 og 5 år, og det fungerede for os. Der er ikke larm eller biler omkring beliggenheden som var perfekt.

We had an incredible stay at this nice house. Ahmed and Redouane were very attentive and ready to help with anything. The room was tidied everyday, the house has a nice architecture, the breakfast on the terrace was lovely. The house is close to the main road, so you can easily arrive by car, no need to walk to get lost. Finally, I would like to thank Ahmed and Redouane for their kindness and hospitality, they made us feel like home. Greetings!

Идеальный отель для путешествующих на автомобиле! Уютный дар с гостеприимными хозяевами, всегда готовыми прийти на помощь по любым вопросам! Очень аутентичная атмосфера, по-настоящему марокканская) Удобное расположение. Легко подъехать на машине. Есть возможность припарковаться, как непосредственно внутри медины (за 5 евро), так и на бесплатной парковке за ее пределами, прямо у ворот в 100 метрах от отеля (что мы и сделали). В 5-ти минутах ходьбы - кафе , где можно вкусно и недорого поужинать . Не оставил равнодушным и завтрак-сет на крыше . Отдельно хочется поблагодарить за помощь в организации экскурсии по медине Феса. Были учтены буквально все наши пожелания! При не самом совершенном владении английским, мы поняли буквально каждое слово! Лучший гид за время всей нашей поездки по Марокко и самые невероятные впечатления от экскурсии! 3,5 часа пролетели как одно мгновение. Если когда-нибудь вернемся в Фес, обязательно остановимся здесь снова. Большое спасибо за ваше гостеприимство!

El personal muy amable. Estuvimos 3 días, el segundo día quedó libre una habitación más grande que la nuestra y nos ofrecieron cambiarnos. Uno de los días teníamos una excursión y nos prepararon un desayuno para llevar. Además, fuimos a un hammam y nos prestaron unas toallas por si en el Hammam no había. El último día nos guardaron las maletas y nos dejaron descansar en el alojamiento, puesto que el avión salía pasadas las 10 de la noche. El desayuno es muy abundante, fruta fresca, mermeladas, tortilla, tortitas, repostería, café, té, zumo natural de naranja... El personal es muy amable, está todo muy limpio. Además, está en buena zona, porque está justo al salir de la Medina, por lo que, llega el taxi a la puerta. Se puede ir andando a todos los sitios turísticos.

After a long travel day we arrived tired, staff picked us up from a nearby hotel and helped us park the car in the street of the dar. We got tea and got a quick explanation of the ins and outs of the city that turned out to be very helpful. We spend 2 nights here and the staff would be very helpful and kind, they even did our laundry which had piled up. We liked our room, it was clean and beautiful, just like the whole dar! Location is also good, not too busy and at the edge of the medina. Airco worked very well, matrass was soft and comfortable. Water pressure was also very good. Best stay so far on our trip in Marokko!

Выручили, когда нас обманул другой риад, местный развод, говорят комнаты нет, там трещина, кондей не работает и т.п. и переселяют в другой риад дешманский. У этих ребят все было по честному. Обслуживание на пять баллов, но номера уставшие, хорошо хоть кондеи свежие. Холодильников в номерах нет. Только общий.

Redouane and Ahmed were the nicest people we’ve met in Morocco. Always willing and jumping to help. They’ve made sure nothing is missing and we have everything we need to feel like home. In a 2 week trip the best part was spending an evening with Redouane discussing life, traditions and the philosophy of life. The Dar is reachable by car, which is an amazing plus as you don’t need to get lost through the Fez old town.

I feel very happy to have stayed at such a wonderful place. If you come to Morocco, you should definitely stay in a Riad. This Riad is very beautiful, the staff are extremely kind, and the breakfast is delicious! And also close to the gate, Bab ziat.

I felt a little concerned about safety, especially because I have small children. It is close to the gate, which is convenient, but it is slightly away from the busy area and gave me the impression that the area might not be very safe.

Súper recomendable! El Dar en si es hermoso, la ubicación ideal, en una de las puertas de la Medina, para no perderse, ideal por si te buscan de excursiones y no estar en el medio del bullicio, pero cerca de todo! El desayuno espectacular! La gentileza del chico que nos recibió y de todos los que trabajan allí lo hacen un alojamiento óptimo.

The staff members were very kind, welcoming, helpful and informative. We really appreciated being offered an upgraded room but declined as it was up many stairs. Excellent location, just inside the medina and taxis can park 50m away. The central courtyard is impressive, beautiful and full of traditional character. Breakfast was typical Moroccan style and plentiful. There was plenty of hot water in the shower.

We are not difficult to please but sadly there were a few negatives, most of which could very easily be resolved. The room was very dark due to poor lighting. Bedside lamps would have been useful and there were power points available to have them – perhaps these could be provided for future guests. There was nowhere to sit in the room - just one chair would have been handy. The poor quality fixtures and towels did not match the impressive courtyard. The bathroom was musty smelling and not spotlessly clean. It should also be noted that there is a considerable amount of street noise, such as barking dogs and people shouting, which is not the fault of the property. However, if you are a light sleeper, this could be an issue.

Tout était parfait, l'accueil avec le thé, la chambre, la salle de bain, le service avec les serviettes changées tous les jours, le riad décoré typique marocain, le petit déjeuner copieux et très bon pris en terrasse et merci beaucoup à Redouane et Ahmed pour leur gentillesse et leur serviabilité, leurs conseils pour visiter la médina, leur message du premier jour pour nous guider vers leur riad, avoir une place dans la rue moyennant 2 euros par jour. Nous recommendons vivement et si nous revenons nous serons très heureux de les revoir.

We had a wonderful stay at this Dar in Fez. One of the biggest advantages was that it was accessible by car, which is very important since many hotels in the old medina cannot be reached easily by vehicle. The staff Abdil and Redven were absolutely amazing — very welcoming, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing, and we truly enjoyed our time there. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

La chambre au RDC est calme et grande, meme si peu de lumière, elle donne sur la grande court intérieur gorgée de lumière. Le Dar est localisé prêt des remparts, facile pour garer sa voiture et surtout moins anxiogène que les DAR ou Riad au cœur de Fes.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful riad. A delicious breakfast is served every morning on the terrace. The riad is only a 10 minute walk from the main blue gate. It is located in a quiet place so you can sleep well and rest. I would especially like to thank for the kindness and friendliness of the two guys who work in the riad and who were at our disposal for all questions and help. We definitely recommend this accommodation.

Ahmed en Redouan waren geweldige hosts: ontzettend behulpzaam en (kind)vriendelijk. Je voelt je meteen welkom. De ligging is perfect, net aan de rand van de medina, waardoor alles makkelijk bereikbaar is. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en heerlijk, met genoeg keuze voor zowel volwassenen als kinderen. Een echte plus! Daarnaast werd de kamer dagelijks netjes schoongemaakt, wat zorgde voor een comfortabel en verzorgd verblijf. Zeker een aanrader voor wie een gastvrij verblijf zoekt

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden bei allen möglichen Sachen, wie Transport und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten unterstützt und beraten. Wir haben einen Tagesausflug nach Chefchauen mit der Unterkunft gebucht und es verlief ohne Probleme. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Die Unterkunft war auch sauber. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ebenfalls top, da sie am Rande der Medina liegt und somit perfekt zum Abholen und Hinbringen geeignet ist. Fahrzeuge sind nämlich in der Medina nicht erlaubt. Gleichzeitig ist man nach 5-10 Minuten Laufweg an den Hotspots der Medina.

The Dar is on the outskirts of the Medina and easily accessible by taxi, but still very near the main attractions. The service is exceptional, Ahmed and Redouane were very helpful and welcoming! Good breakfast and great value overall!

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar Golden in Fes. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the WiFi worked perfectly during our stay. The breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning. The location is also very good, close to everything and easy to access. What made our experience even better was the amazing staff service. Everyone was very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. They made us feel at home from the first moment. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Fes. We will definitely come back again!

Tout était parfait! L’emplacement à l’entrée de la médina qui permet de se garer tout proche, ce qui est idéal pour les valises. L’accueil exceptionnel et les conseils précieux d’Ahmed. Le petit déjeuner succulent servi en terrace.

We stayed here as a group of 8 people in separate rooms. All the rooms were worn down, with dirty sheets and towels. The whole group was very unhappy with the stay.

Location was great - quieter side of medina but short walking distance to all the attractions. Great, very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Comfortable and clean room.

The Dar is a 15 minute walk going to the Blue gate. The room for three was small. There is no table to work on inside the bedroom and the lights at the common area would be dimmed at 11 pm so there is no place to work with the laptop at night. The Dar is old. There is no elevator. Inside the bathroom, there is no place where you can put on the shampoo or the soap. If I will go back, I will stay in a place near the Blue gate.

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft liegt am Rand der Medina. Guter Standort. Wenn man mit Auto anreist, sehr praktisch zum Aus -und Einladen. Parken in der Nähe möglich.

Goede locatie binnen de medina toegankelijk met auto maar toch rustig. We hebben gratis op straat kunnen parkeren 200 a 300 meter van de accomodatie. Als je geluk hebt kun je soms op straat voor de accomodatie parkeren. Goede uitvalbasis om Fez te verkennen. Goed ontbijt op dakterras. Zeer vriendelijk, attent en behulpzaam personeel. Kamers zijn basic dus zonder extras zoals bijvoorbeeld een föhn, koelkastje, televisie of dergelijke.

Tout est réuni pour passer le meilleur séjour possible : le cadre est sublime et la localisation idéale pour profiter de la médina. Les chambres sont confortables et très agréables. Le petit déjeuner est absolument délicieux et bien copieux. La touche finale de cet hébergement, c’est son personnel ! L’accueil est chaleureux dès l’arrivée. Redouane et Ahmed sont attentionnés, disponibles et toujours de bons conseils pour découvrir les alentours. Nous avons presque l’impression d’être en famille. Encore merci !

Très bonne expérience. La chambre était propre et confortable, avec un accueil chaleureux dès notre arrivée. L’équipe nous a aidés à trouver des places de parking et s’est montrée toujours attentionnée, à l’écoute et aux petits soins durant tout le séjour. The property itself was amazing, the lobby area, and the roof are amazing. And most importantly the staff Redouane and Ahmed truly treat you like family. It was some of the best service we have experienced. If you are in Fes, this is the place to stay!

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir bekamen beim Einchecken eine Strassenkarte der Medina mit Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Austattung ist wunderschön, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und schön weich. Extrawünsche wurden uns gerne erfüllt. Das absolute Highlight ist das Frühstück auf der wunderschönen Dachterasse.

We were very happy with the Riad. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and not too small like most Riad. The location was excellent, and everything was clean. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time there.

Personale disponibile e gentile. Ottima accoglienza. Ci hanno fornito tutte le informazioni necessarie per visitare Fez e dato consigli su alcuni tour da effettuare. Buona la colazione che si svolge sulla terrazza. La nostra camera da tre aveva un matrimoniale e due lettini ma come dimensioni non era grandissima. Bagno piccolino , doccia aperta senza né vetro né tenda.

Ridouane and Ahmed were amazing hosts. They gave us good suggestions and tips to explore Fes Madina. They also were very welcoming and accommodating as I had young kids. I would book this property again.

We loved everything .. Just a suggestion to put room photos to each room booking as the rooms are not identical. For example we thought we would be a room with a balcony as that’s what the photos showed however our room was on ground level. We actually liked it more because kids had easy access to the courtyard and it was easy to transport luggage.

Ahmed and Redouane were so kind: at our arrival they offered us tea and gave us a ma explaining how Fes was organized and what were the most importantly spots to visit. The rad is in a perfect position to reach the Centre of the Medina, near it there is also a really good restaurant that was recommended by Ahmed the day we arrived. Breakfast was so good with many choices from croissant to typical Moroccan breakfast. In addition to that the view by the terrace is stunning and doing breakfast or taking tea there is so relaxing. I really appreciated the hospitality, if I will come back to Fes, I will definitely come to Dar Golden Ziat

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au Dar Golden Ziat ; l'établissement est très beau, et le personnel vraiment adorable ; nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux ; Les responsables sont disponibles et vraiment arrangeant : nous avons pu partir tot dans la nuit pour prendre notre vol et ils nous avaient préparé un petit-déjeuner à emporter ! Je recommande vivement cet établissement

The kindness of everyone in there and location. They were so nice and accommodating especially Radwan who was so sweet to my daughter. I will definitely come back and breakfast was amazing😃
