It was very well equipped and all the little things were greatly appreciated, eg lots of condiments, coffee pods, kids toys, puzzles. Great property for our family of six adults and a baby.

Reviewed Oct 23, 2025This house surpassed our expectations. It was well stocked with pots, pans, and even pantry items that made cooking and baking so much easier. The place was spotless — we even saw a team cleaning it thoroughly before check-in. The view of the mountains and lake was stunning. The host was super responsive and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Beds were comfortable with electric blankets + heaters in every room too.

Reviewed May 20, 2025Everything! We travelled as a family of six and it was perfect. Location was perfect, the views from the house are just like in the pics. The bedding was beautiful and beds were comfortable, kitchen has everything we needed. It really felt like our home away from home, we made some great family memories.

Obviously the owner made a great effort ! 👌It only took us five minutes to drive to the town ! It is easy and convenient to visit other tourist area as well ! We will definitely go back again if we come to Queenstown in the near future !

We stayed at this home during the Christmas season. While the property was beautifully appointed, there were a few issues that impacted our experience. Upon arrival, the rubbish bins hadn’t been emptied, and there were broken tiles on the main walkway. To their credit, some of the bins were emptied the next day on Christmas Eve which we appreciated. However, as we settled in, we encountered a more serious concern. There were hidden carpet tacks or nail points along the transitions between the wood floor and carpet. Unfortunately, my son cut his foot on one of these. While neither of the septuagenarians living with us were hurt, and the home manager was apologetic and offered a discount on a future stay, I felt that a more immediate form of restitution, such as a partial refund, would have been more appropriate given the nature of the incident. This property has promise, but attention to detail and a more proactive approach to guest safety and satisfaction would greatly enhance the experience.

Reviewed Sep 20, 2024We enjoyed a very relaxing 9 days here. Waking up each day to a magnificent sunrise amidst snow capped peaks was a real highlight. The property is well appointed with all you need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. The Host, Hans was very helpful in answering any queries we had before and during our stay.
