Absolutely lovely place to stay, staff was wonderful, location was amazing- just far enough from the main bit of Ubud to be able to get some quiet time away from the huddle and bustle of it all. Breakfast was also amazing!

Loved everything about it! I do wish there was laundry facilities but no problem at all.

ラヤ・ウブド通りから少し入った所にあり、田んぼの横の細い道を入った一番奥にあります。道は細く不安になりますが、施設は綺麗で清潔でコスパが非常に優れています。スタッフも皆にこやかで、快適に過ごすことができました。ウブドの街中の人の多さを避けたいのであればお勧めです。シャワーの水圧・お湯の出は申し分なく、頼めばドライヤーも貸しだしてくれました。朝食もおいしかったです。

Ubicació complicada i poc accessible.

What an amazing little hidden gem right in the center of Ubud, but far enough from all the noise and chaos of the main street. At night it's dead quiet — all you can hear is the birds singing. The bed is super comfy, great water pressure with hot water always available, and the terrace is really spacious, just like the room itself. Everything is spotless, and they do cleaning on request, plus they offer laundry service too. The owners are such lovely, welcoming people — special thanks to them for waiting up for me after my late-night flight, picking me up from the airport, and helping me with my luggage to the room. I honestly loved it so much here that I decided to extend my stay for a bit longer. Thank you for everything!

Das Zimmer fand ich sehr gut. Das Bett ist schön groß und gemütlich und durch die großen Fenster mit Aussicht ins Grüne ist es eine schöne Atmosphäre . Das Badezimmer war okay. Es hat etwas unangenehm gerochen zwischendurch, was in Bali aber oft der Fall ist. Es hat mich auch nicht doll gestört, nur würde ich dafür einen Punkt abziehen. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und das Frühstück ist wirklich lecker! Es wird frisch nach Wunsch zubereitet und es ist auch üppig! Es wird auch mit dem Gepäck geholfen. Die Lage finde ich super! Es ist etwas versteckt und dadurch ruhig. Man kann schön spazieren gehen und auch abends im dunkeln habe ich mich als Frau alleine sicher gefühlt.

Great location to be in a more quiet section of Ubud. Rooms are comfortable if you don’t mind staying indoor.

Unfortunately, not the best set up of the amenities with almost no privacy with the walkway in front of the rooms and verandah. A shame with such a great location.

Die Lage war sehr ruhig und schön.

In dem Zimmer lag eine tute Kakalake und das Handtuch hatte ein Loch und war dreckig. Die Zimmer werden auch bei längeren Aufenthalten nicht gereinigt. Als ich danach gefragt habe wurde nur das Bett gemacht (kein Wechsel der Handtücher oder der Bettwäsche). Das war in den anderen Unterkünften in Ubud deutlich besserer Service.

The room we had felt very private. The view was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was huge and the shower pressure was great. Lots of hot water, never ran out. Loved the area it was in. So quite and beautiful place to take a relaxing walk in the morning.

It is a hard place to find. No cars can drop you off. They did come help with our luggage with a motorcycle. There is a short cut down the back but it’s difficult and only recommend if you have good balance. Didn’t realise you have to ask for house cleaning. Only two towels and none to dry hands or feet.

El acceso es complicado

We loved our stay at Heri House! The family that run the homestay were so helpful and lovely, the room basic but super comfortable and clean! The breakfast each morning was also really nice and the views from our patio area were great! We stayed for 6 nights and would have stayed longer! The location was also perfect away from the noise of town but only minutes away to go out and see the sights!

It was hard to find but the owners kept in touch the whole arrival day and came to meet us to show us the way so it wasn’t an issue!

I spent 5 nights at Heri House and really loved my stay here 🌸 The staff were very warm and welcoming, and even helped me organise a taxi to the airport with very short notice, and went out of their way to accomodate me paying for it with card. It was so nice to have a free breakfast every morning too, looking out at the lush garden outside my room. My room was private and quiet which was wonderful. The location is amazing, so close to the centre but has that village feel as there are rice paddies everywhere, and the Sari rice walk with loads of cute cafes and restaurants. It's great for running too, if you're a runner - in the morning or at dusk. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here :) Terima kasih!

Left is a wide road and to the right a narrow pathway right next to a ring making workshop place. Follow the path up for about 100 meters and it will take you right. After approx. 20 meters, take the path left right next to (after) Heavenly Cafe and follow it down, it will take you left and keep going till the end. • The Walk-In: Access is via a very narrow, slightly rough path. If you have a large suitcase, you will need to manage it yourself. While it looks a bit daunting at first, it is actually very manageable! • Safety & Lighting: The path is not lit at night, so bring a torch or use your phone light. While the path is very safe and nobody will bother you, please be mindful that you share this narrow space with local scooters.

Sah genauso aus wie auf den Bildern, ultra bequeme Betten, die besten auf unserer bisher 5 monatigen Reise. Warme Dusche. Das Frühstück war auch super. Und die Leute vom Hotel wirklich super nett. Dazu kommt, dass die Zimmer wirklich schön hell sind und man einen Balkon ganz für sich alleine hat. Die Klima funktioniert auch einwandfrei. Und top Lage, nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Zentrum und schönen Spazierwegen entfernt und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Wir können es wirklich jedem empfehlen. ☺️

Es war wirklich alles toll! Wenn es eine Sache zu verbessern gäbe wäre das höchstens das relativ schlechte Wifi Signal auf unserem Zimmer. Aber das tut unserer Meinung bei dem tollen Aufenthalt nichts zur Sache. :)

I stayed at Heri House for more than 3 weeks during my Yoga Training at Yoga Union - Earth Shala. It was a good time 😄 I really liked that they were serving a good breakfast (omelette and fruits) even early in the morning. The staff is very friendly and the quality of the place is high.They even offer a laundry service, regular room cleaning and organise a tour to tourist attractions if you ask for that.

The room quality is good, but the bathroom should have an integrated fan or so to ensure that the humidity is regulated and mold avoided as far as possible.

Sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiter, ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Cleanliness, staff, location

Le lieu est jolie et calme, le petit déjeuné est très bien, le lit très confortable !

la localisation pour le rejoindre était très confus, pas bien indiqué et j’ai perdu du temps à le trouver. ils ont qd même gentiment envoyé quelqu’un me chercher. la salle de bain est ok mais quelques traces de moisissures. un frigo aurait pu être interessant également et 1 ou 2 serviettes de plus.

Тихое место недалеко от центра Убуда и замечательной тропы художников. Очень приятный, свежий номер, окружённый зеленью. Простой небольшой завтрак - то что надо.

I had an amazing stay at this cozy and very clean hotel. I stayed here for 20 days and truly felt at home. The hosts are incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help. On my first day, they even met me late at night when I arrived after a long trip. I’m very grateful for their care and hospitality. Highly recommend this place!

I really enjoyed staying here. It is like 10minute walk to the city centre and to the other side rice fields. The staff and the manager and her father are really nice, friendly and caring people. La localisation est top, bien qu'on ai galéré au début à trouver comment accéder à l'hôtel car les routes sont très mal (voir inexistantes) sur google maps. Pour les prochains arrivants pour accéder à l'hotel : - Prendre la ruelle avec le muret quand vous êtes rue Subak Sok Wayah. Une fois arrivé au bout de cette rue vous verrez sur la gauche un petit chemin avec le panneau "Herri House" suivre le chemin jusqu'au bout. Vous êtes arrivés ! Autrement les plus : Vous êtes hyper proche du centre ville sans pour autant avoir les problématiques de bruit. La chambre est franchement qualitative. Les petits déjeuners sont très bons.

Comme dit plus haut avoir une petit explication pour l'accès serait un plus. Autrement il y a bel et bien un problème d'humidité dans la chambre une fois que vous avez utilisé la salle de bain. La pièce n'ayant pas de VMC l'humidité stagne et ça peut vite pourrir votre séjour. Petit tips nous on utilisait la climatisation en fonction déshumidification pour résoudre en partie le problème, mais cela peut expliquer les autres commentaires parlant d'odeur d'humidité. Effectivement quand nous étions (août 2025) il y a bien des travaux à côté et au dessus. Alors on a pas franchement été embêtés car ils respectent des horaires logiques de travail (9h-17h je dirais). Mais si vous restez la journée dans votre chambre ça peut être gênant.

Но если рассматривать конкретно сам отель и дорогу до него, то полный треш. Сложная доступность, такси просто не доедет, идти пешком с вещами около 5 минут. Если вы одна, то достаточно жутковато вечером добраться. Рядом стройка, которая долбит весь день. Территории нет от слова совсем. На фото только красиво выглядит. Ужасный душ, нет принадлежностей в ванной, коврика (мыло для посуды налили). В общем мелочей для комфорта. Включенного завтрака тоже не было. Возвращаться сюда не хочется.

The location is so bad , when you come the car will stop you in some spot and then must the owner come to take you to the place it’s was so bad and it in the middle of the jungle and the owners have treated as with bad attitude

Beautiful view, quiet and during NYE you could see all the fireworks from the balcony. WiFi on the second floor is a bit patchy. Lovely staff.

There was construction works over my head on the upper floor. Location is not the best one , not easy to reach , very narrow trail access over 100-200 m far from the main road.

- Kamar nya bersih, wangi, menyenangkan, view nya garden, seperti kamar baru - Sarapan enak - Staff ramah - Jalan pagi ke arah utara/ jalan setapak, sangat menyenangkan

- Lokasi sangat diujung menuju jalan buntu dan titik google map tidak benar, waktu mau tanya jalan sama Staff jawab nya lama banget jadi saya kepanasan ditengah jalan nungguin reply whatsapp - Diatas jam magrib sangat gelap karena tidak ada penerangan jalan proper - Diluar homestay = sangat banyak nyamuk (jadi harus pakai mosquito spray)

Прекрасное место для тех, кто ищет уединение с природой — тишина, спокойствие и никакой суеты, но при этом отель расположен совсем рядом с главными улицами Убуда, всё в шаговой доступности. Сам отель очень чистый и просторный, с приятным балконом, где можно наслаждаться видом и атмосферой. Завтраки хорошие, а персонал выше всяких похвал. Отдельная благодарность милой девушке, которая помогла нам во всём — её забота сделала наше пребывание ещё более комфортным. Обязательно посетите это место — точно не пожалеете! Единственный момент: дорога к отелю немного узкая, как и многие улицы на Бали, поэтому лучше планировать поездку на байке.

you could hear the road from the room and the parking was completely unaccessible, even just for a scooter. there was also construction happening that I wasn't informed about. The AC also made a wheezing noise

Eine Wand ist mal komplett verschimmelt. Es ist eine Baustelle, da findet man keine Ruhe. Die Frühstückszeiten sind extrem unflexibel, das kenn ich sonst gar nicht, von Bali. Es sieht auf den Bildern schön aus, u. U. Ist es das. Es ist halt ein Raum, da steht ein Schrank u. ein Bett. Muss man nicht überbewerten aber wäre okay, wenn es nicht verschimmelt wäre oder so muffig riechen würde. Dafur braucht man eben einen Abzug oder ein Fenster im Bad. Nicht vorhanden Es sollte darauf hingewiesen werden, dass der Weg dahin, nicht für Personen geeignet ist, die nicht gut laufen können oder gar im Rollstuhl sitzen. Selbst einfachste Unterkünfte, haben hier bessere Bewertungen verdient, als der Bunker.

The apartment was extremely unclean, with mold, insects, and hair throughout the space. Both the air conditioner and bathroom were heavily affected by mold, making them impossible to use comfortably. The location is also very inconvenient and difficult to access with luggage, requiring a 15-minute walk up steep and narrow paths inaccessible by car. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this property to other travelers.

Было трудно найти в первый день этот отель, он сильно спрятан. А также идет стройка 2-го этажа и мы просыпались из-за этого в 7 утра каждый день.

Amazing staff, delicious breakfast, beautiful modern room! Honestly one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in. We loved it so much we extended our stay twice! The staff are so friendly and we’re always so happy to help. Perfect location, as close as you can get to town whilst being tucked away in the quiet rice field areas. Suksma!

Beautiful location, tucked away from the busy streets. Kedak was ready to help me with all questions, and was very responsive on WhatsApp. The room was beautiful, and I enjoyed sitting on the patio eating the breakfast that was freshly made each morning. The bed is hard but super comfortable.

The bathroom, any shower longer than 3 minutes and your whole bathroom is full of water - it does not drain well. Mold/mildew smell in bathroom, and seen on ceiling. Could use a fan in the bathroom. A small fridge in the room would be amazing. I would come back, you cannot beat this location.

Camera davvero bella, spaziosa e ben pulita. Staff gentile e disponibile. Ci sono anche venuti incontro per aiutarci con i bagagli. Posizione a 10 minuti dal Palazzo Reale di Ubud. È leggermente fuori mano per i driver, non ci si accede con auto, ma in compenso in zona di pace e tranquillità immersa nel verde.

Colazione forse da migliorare confrontandola con altre strutture della zona, e mancava il phon, però piccolezze.

Great view, stunning garden, big bed, really good breakfast on the porch, you can walk to the Ubud center but the place is so calm and relaxed.

The access - I had a backup pack so no problem, but walking alone in the dark back to the place was a bit scary. If you have scooter and a backpack, you'll be fine. Wouldn't book this again as a solo traveller.

Si vede che la struttura è nuova perche intorno stanno costruendo ma è veramente in perfette condizioni e lo staff è molto cordiale e accogliente.

l’unica pezza è che per arrivarci è un po’ difficoltoso ma come molte e strutture qui in indonesia. Le colazioni non sono troppo abbondanti

Absolutely awful location. There is no reasonable way to get there with luggage. You have to trek down a narrow and very bumpy pathway full of motorbikes bc cars can’t get there. I ruined the wheels on 2 suitcases and nearly got ran over by bikes. This should be properly explained in the description. Not suitable for people with large suitcases

Such a cosy place into the rice field. The room was beautiful and the staff reactive on WhatsApp.

It was difficult to find the location. Not accessible by car so you have to carry your luggage if you come with a taxi. By motorbike it okay, but then you still have to walk a little bit down (maybe 150m).

Milý a veľmi ochotný personál, kľudné miesto v blízkosti centra Ubudu a ryživých polí, veľmi dobré raňajky. Na ubytovanie sa dostanete pešo z hlavnej cesty okolo 8 minút, ale personál vám je nápomocný s batožinou.

Celkovo bolo ubytovanie veľmi pekné, ale kúpeľňa pôsobila trochu pochmúrne, nad sprchou ošúchaná omietka. Vyriešilo by to 2 hodinové maľovanie stropu aby sa človek cítil príjemnejšie 🙂

The location is so central in Ubud, yet off of the busy street, so is perfect for that balance. The views of the rice terraces surround the property is gorgeous and the views from the balcony are lovely. The sounds of wildlife on a night are beautiful. The staff are amazing, so friendly and make you feel safe. There is usually always someone about and if not they have very quick replies. Rooms are spotless and the bathroom is so clean. There are multiple options for breakfast and all get served at your table on the balcony. There were multiple solo travellers staying here if you are looking for that.

We weren’t sure if there was some mould starting to grow on the wall near the door due to the humidity, so if that could be looked at there would be absolutely nothing we didn’t like.

All was good. Also, staff was helpful with bringing my luggage to the main road where taxi was. That really helped.

May be can add up extra cooking equipments at mini-kitchen, so guests can cook day time or evening.

Good place! bit tricky to get to but if you have a scooter you’ll be fine. park the scooter at the tandoori place tho. A little tricky to park in front of the house. I like the squirrels and view. The people that take care of the place are lovely!

It was very clean and very quiet. Ig you like the nature , I will recommend Heri. The breakfast is also delicious especially banana pancake is excellent. Staffs are very nice and helpful.

The only one thing I dun like is the location. It will be difficult to get to hotel with big luggages. Anyhow you can ask the hotel for help.
