Alexa din’t work very well, there was only one robe, the bathroom had no light and the coffee machine had missing parts and didn’t work. The location also wasn’t what we expected from the photos.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway, close to havelock. Everything was clean, tidy and very well thought out. The place was warm and cosy and felt like home for the weekend.

I loved how relaxing it felt, loved everything, amazing and easy to contact the host, instructions were also very clear. would definitely recommend to others and would definitely visit again

Accommodation was beautiful and comfortable, well thought out. Perfect for any city goer seeking some rest and recovery. Owners were lovely and provided great recommendations!

Not as quiet as we hoped, unfortunately the girls boarding house below took away from the serene camping escape.

Location, amenities, orientation of the tent was incredible, size and comfort made it a relaxing space to chill in.

Magnificent glamping tent, certainly no expense spared. Very relaxing, thoughtful amenities, very tasteful interior, hot tub, bbq, outdoor couches. Close to town which was handy because meal costs on offer were priced at a point you'd think the tent was really remote, but it was private. We also were given a local bottle of wine and some chocolates which was a lovely touch. Fabulous bed!

We could see houses across from us somewhat in the distance, but enough to lessen the real feeling of remoteness. A couple of well placed partly grown trees would fix that immediately. The cost of the add on meals, massages etc are high given proximity to town. All this aside, we would certainly look to stay again! Really lovely.

The property was absolutely stunning & had all the frills of glamping but in a location close to town which was perfect for us.

Breakfast - NA Fantastic concept and beautifully done. Great space and comfort in a peaceful setting close to most destinations. The hosts communications were friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend.

Very minor - coffee pods were very average. Plunger would be a good addition for those who don't like that sort of coffee.

An absolutely fabulous location surrounded by nature but still so so close to town. We were greeted by Tui's and farewelled by Tui's. Secluded and private but close to all local ammenities. Definitely recommended and we will be back for sure.

location surprisngly quiet for being in the town. Lovely private setting and very thoughtfully set up. Fabulaous hot tub and deck, really enjoyed the whole experience

The kitchen consumables were very basic and lower quality than I expected for this level of stay but certainly adequate eg longlife milk, pod coffee with machine not fully functioning, budget teabags and oil

The bed was super comfy, nice tidy little spot. Easy to find. Hot Tub a Bonus

The BBQ wasn't cleaned we wanted to use it, but didn't want to clean someone else's mess up.

Stunning space to share with your favorite human. Great place to unwind and reset. We would recommend to friends and family.

The enchanted retreat is such an amazing getaway. Everything about it felt luxurious and it’s such a unique stay.

A wonderful getaway destination & accommodation. We loved the beautiful surroundings (trees, bird life & song) and a nice hot tub under the stars in the evenings were the highlights. The automatic fire made the place feel cozy, along with the heat pump meant it was always warm even though it is winter. The smart tent features elevated the luxury 'glamping' experience to another level and added a fun element to our experience. Great location, close to shops & restaurants. Enchanted Retreat is not far from Te Mata Peak where we watched the sunset one evening, it was spectacular!

The whole experience was enchanting! The hot tub, the comfort of the bed, the technology, the view, actually…..EVERYTHING!! The hosts have thought of every detail imaginable. A magical experience!!

Location was perfect for our needs, (Traveled 2 hrs) accomodation was excellent

when we arrived at night there were no lights on which was dangerous trying to find the path, the spa water smelled and seem to be not treated enough, and both the inside mood candle & outside mood candle could not be lit as they were completely burnt down,

The only fault was one of the blinds didn’t work. Would have been nice to have been able to see the view and surrounds from the bed

What’s not to like! Everything has been thought of. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The deck and hot tub were fantastic. The “smart tent” features were a treat and made setting the mood through music and lighting a breeze! The couch and bed were super comfy and cozy. An incredible experience overall 😀 Would absolutely stay again in the future.

Fantastic accommodation in a magnificent setting. Richard & Lucy have thought of everything to make the stay as idyllic as possible. Beautiful views in a beautiful setting while living in supreme comfort. Simply brilliant!

The view is spectacular. The tent was awesome. The owners and info all great. Loved the bathroom. Beds and bedding all fab. Easy to find.

Could do with update of amenties, candles all finished, soap, shampoo was lovely brand but empty now supermarket brands in bathroom. Cutlery not full set anymore. Fire in pics unavailable now, we asked council had said not allowed anymore. All little things it is an amazing place & could be a 10 again with these few adjustments.

It was perfect - beautiful house with an amazing view. All the details were executed to perfection - can tell a lot of thought and effort has been put into this place.

Loved the vibe and feel! We were able to relax and enjoy the deck, rooms were spacious and everything met our expectations. The grounds were well kept and parking was abundant.

Nothing really that we didn't like but would say since it was raining the day we came in the tent had a slight wetness in the air -- I would suggest a dehumidifier or turning on the heat earlier to take that moisture out of the air.

Amazing surroundings and everything in its place for an excellent glamping stay.

The entrance to the property is a bit hidden. Definitely follow the directions by the owners and don’t rely only on your own navigation system.

The place is done up beautifully, well equipped and technologically advanced! The experience was one of a kind. We enjoyed using the hot tub on a slightly cool day, and had music playing throughout thanks to 'Alexa'.

Does take awhile to get a decent amount of hot water.

Host Lucy was delightful. Quality fittings, location, everything was just as advertised. Very relaxing.

Everything was amazing! The bottle of wine was such a special touch. There was a big storm the night we glamped and honestly it was the best place to snuggle down and watch the storm. We had a view, a fireplace and were warm and snug. I'm not a camper, but this was better than any hotel. The kitchen allowed us to bring dinner in and enjoy! Entry was seamless due to the use of technology and trust!

All was great. Due to the storm, some water leaked through the edges of the "tent windows", but as we we just renting, it was not a concern and it didn't impact using the space. Just a concern if I was to buy a one of these glamping places.

Lovely hot hot tub with a view! Comfy bed and an amazing dawn chorus - I’ve never heard such an impressive one!

Everything. The bed was so comfy! The hot tub was a perfect temp and that sunset view we had was perfection. The space was amazing. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone and definitely coming back.

Super comfy beds and furniture, immacutlately clean, and a very cosy atmosphere.

Spa pool was not up to temperature when we arrived but the host got in touch to explain why that was.

Location was nice, everything being controlled online was cool, the tent was clean and comfortable and warm. Excellent wine provided :)

Hot tub definitely needed a clean, and half the power outlets stopped working halfway through our stay.
