Newport's STAR at Montecito Residential Resort

The area is perfect for catching your flight especially in Terminal 3. The place itself we’re very convenient for families to stay in. There’s a lot of food shops restaurant near the place too. The host Ms. Joan were very accomodating as well as Ms. Shane the housekeeper who’s very helpful. We’ll definitely come back again next time! ✨✨✨

A Home away from Home. It was a very nice and comfortable place which is big enough for a Family of 6 or group of Friends.  It's very close to Newport Mall which is where my Son's Graduation was held and we picked a very good Staycation to spend 2 nights and 3 days with access to the pool for 200 per person and it's good for 3 days access.  The owner, Joan was very responsive and accomodating of our questions and their onsite assistant, Shane was very Helpful during our Check-in and Checkout.  We would definitely book this place again in the future. Highly Recommended! 

Montecito Swimming pool is under renovation which is inconvenient because we have to walk and go to Sorasata or Pinecrest to swim but the pool was worth all the effort.  If you do plan to cook though, then the place may not be good for actual cooking because the kitchen only has Kettle, Microwave and Rice Cooker. It was okay for us because we didn't have time to do those so we ate out or ordered Grab food. There's Jerry's Grill  and 7/11 in the area which was really convenient for a quick grocery run for water and other supplies during our Staycation.

Very thankful that the owner allowed accommodation for 5 adults and 2 kids. They also had extra foam and linen we could use. unit is indeed walking distance from NAIA 3 and accessible to local transport (grab cat/ taxi). basically, unit was as advertised. also, staff was on standby for any concerns or queries - truly a seamless transaction.

Location was 10/10. Walking distance to Newport Reaorts World was a big plus for me and my friends!!!

Positionnement pour un stop à Manille

Excellent location. We need a 20hr stay that’s close to the airport and restaurants - this place was 25mins walk from airport to accommodation, 5mins walk to convenient stores, shopping mall and good restaurants. Excellent security onsite and they were very friendly and helpful. Easy self check in and check out process. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Apartment was a little run down but we didn’t care as it was clean and tidy. Only one small roll of toilet paper was provided (but host was very responsive and provided more when contacted).

I was sure i had cancelled this through booking.com around a month before our arrival, but apparently not. Requested to cancel 13d before arrival (after i had been charged) as plans changed and would only be in Manila 1 night. Host refused. Requested to reduce to 1 night, host refused stating not their policy. Host was not there at the time we said we would arrive and we had to wait 20 mins at security gates while security guards (who were really nice and helpful) worked out where we were staying and let us in. Wifi in unit did not work and they did not fix, the additional beds for our family of 6 were mattresses on the floor. Apartment was small, tiny bathroom, and plenty of small cockroaches in the kitchen. Messaged the host on departure to ask where to leave the keys and they acted surprised that we were leaving. Then spoke with her and she said she would put in as a no show so we would get a refund. Got 1000psp back off a 21000psp booking. She said if it rebooked she would refund us more. It did rebook and we were offered a 1500psp credit for the 'next time we stay'. When i pointed out that was no use to us as we wouldn't stay there again, and that they had profited much more than our original 21,000psp booking the host stopped all communication.

Das man auf dem Balkon nicht sitzen kann gab’s keine Stühle ,und die Tür ging ganz schlecht auf von Balkontür .toilette war gleich verstopft.

The place was clean. Unlike other BNB’s we stayed in around the area, we did not see cockroaches. It’s also near NAIA 3 which was the main we booked the place. The owner was also very accommodating. The housekeeper was also very polite and quick.

The place was a bit smaller than expected because there was supposed to be 7 of us but 2 cancelled so it was fine. Not all the beds were prepared when we got there but after I called the owner, the housekeeper was there in a few minutes to prepare everything. We couldn’t lock the balcony door and there were spaces between the wall and the window sill which in my opinion makes it a bit harder to keep the room cool. Plus the possibility of insects coming in.

The equipment and facilities are good. The place is clean too. We did NOT encounter any cockroaches or any crawling/flying insects. Air-con is very good.

We had a very pleasant stay as if we're just at the comfort of our homes. The unit owner is very kind and always checks if we're encountering any problem. She even gave us free rice grains..😅 So thoughtful. The location is fantastic as it is just beside the venue of our convention. We will surely choose her place again in the future.

Might have liked another blanket on the additional bed (only had a sheet), though I'm sure we could have gotten one if we'd asked. Otherwise great place!

Very strict with the check in time and out and they do charge 400/hr if you request for early check in but totally understandable.

Wonderful host! She waited for us at the gate and showed us to our parking spot and room. It’s in a gated neighborhood so access is controlled. Within walking distance to stores and restaurants and only a few minutes drive to the airport!

I like the location as it is very close to the airport and there are many things you can do in the nearby areas. The unit is clean. My kids loved the ambience. The host is responsive and helpful.

I love the property for its convenience and comfort. It is super accessible to all like convenience stores, transpo and Restaurants. Most especially is it is literally walking distance to Terminal 3. As an OFW who doesn’t live in Manila and would have to travel back to Mindanao is a big Plus to stay here for awhile and have a peaceful dip into there pool. My family enjoyed the pool and the comfort of the place. We will definitely come back and recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you to Maam Joan!

We thought it was 2 bedroom as stated in booking.com app, good thing we were only 5pax and there were beds in the living room area, other than that the property is awesome.

The location is good. Easy to deal with.

The property was spacious. They also provided a 1:1 ratio to the number of guests and linen. It was within walking distance of Naia Terminal 3. The owner granted our request to extend until 12 noon (checkout).

The power sockets seemed to have been turned off from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. I am not sure what happened. However, we were not able to charge our electronic devices prior to going out.

Nice 1 bedroom apartment with a decent size living room (for the Philippines). Communication was excellent, the staff was polite and helpful. Great location near the airport to go around Manila.
