Linwewa Villa, Sigiriya

La villa est top avec une vue incroyable. Les hôtes nous ont super bien accueilli et nous aider pour la moindre requête, un grand merci à eux. Le repas de l’hôte était très bon. Les chambres sont clean et modernes.

La location est un peu excentré mais pour avoir cette vue là ça vaut le détour

This is a very unique property near Sigiriya. It has three large rooms, each with its own bathroom and a pleasant outside area with a pool. The view of the two famous rocks is fantastic and the fields surrounding it give it a quiet atmosphere. The hosts and especially the young man who was taking care of everything and preparing our breakfast truly made this stay unique. He made everything so that we feel at home and we can't thank him enough.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Lingwella. The view is something really special – looking out over the greenery with Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the distance was just incredible, especially in the mornings. It’s such a peaceful, quiet place and felt like a proper escape. We spent a lot of time just relaxing and enjoying the surroundings, which was exactly what we were hoping for. The food was a real highlight for us. Both breakfast and dinner were consistently delicious, and it felt like a real treat not having to think about meals at all. Overall, it was such a relaxing, enjoyable stay and felt a bit luxurious without being over the top. We’d definitely recommend it to families or small groups looking to switch off and spend time somewhere calm and beautiful

The villa is isolated in the middle of the countryside, in a quiet area. The whole villa is well maintained, well equiped and very clean. The swimming pool is clean and a nice addition. The view on the surroundings is great. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good. We used the cooking services to have dinner at the villa (extra cost) and were happy with the meals. This villa is a very nice family or small group option for those who want to enjoy sigiriya area with a different solution than usual hotels

As the villa is isolated, you will need a car to have lunch or dinner outside if you dont want to use the villa meal option. On the saturday night, there was a kind of rave party (music and light) the other side of the lake, few km away. It was far and not too noisy, but still audible and weird in such a remote place.

The location was amazing and the view was unbelievable. Couldn’t fault the property itself at all would highly recommend. Our host Kumaar was amazing and really made our stay as comfortable as he could. The food here was incredible! Best in Sigiriya I would have all my meals here!

Only challenge was the senior management. We’d woken up for sunrise hike with a taxi organised by the manager and waited 40mins and no taxi arrived. This really messed with our day plans and left us exhausted for no reason which was a shame. Simple ask that couldn’t be met was a shame.

The people are so good. The place is amazing but we will return for sure because of the lovely Yoges and the cute lady that cooked for us. There are so many beautiful places in the world but not full of good persons so we can’t wait to see them again. Thank u so much guys,greetings from 🇮🇹

Beautifully located away from the hustle and bustle. Great place to feel at one with nature and surroundings. Local Villa cook is really friendly and will make your stay very pleasant Pool is such a big plus too

The villa was perfect, stunning scenery was so beautiful and quiet with amazing views. Bedrooms and en-suites were spacious and clean. Great value for money, staff were lovely and friendly.

The most amazing views of Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks. Lovely private pool with a vast expanse of scenery, was absolutely amazing! We opted for the home cooked dinner both nights and thoroughly enjoyed it - delicious and authentic. The chap who looked after us couldn’t have done any more and attended to all our needs. Would HIGHLY recommend this villa, fantastic value for money for the views you get with it.

Not a criticism of the villa at all, and is a direct result of the location and the beautiful surroundings - but you must be okay with small creatures around!! It didn’t bother us, but small lizards, frogs, and the occasional cockroach in the bedrooms are almost guaranteed! This is NOT a reflection of poor cleanliness or anything like that, but you are surrounded by fields and greenery and should expect this. If you are okay with embracing nature, this is a killer property with arguably the best views you’ll get in Sri Lanka, along with great privacy and amazing home cooking!

We had a wonderful time. Fantastic house with nice view and pool. Food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.

This villa was honestly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed, from location & views, to the aesthetic detail & design of the entire villa and the staff who went above & beyond at any given moment to accommodate us & were always lovely to interact with, everything was immaculate & truly stunning. Getting to see the sunrises directly over the views of lions rock & pindurangala was magical, as were the colourful sunsets & the star filled nights. The food was also the best food we had in our entire 2 week trip to Sri Lanka, I simply can’t praise this place enough. If you get the chance, make sure you stay here.

The villa is just amazing Comfy beds, clean bathroom and stunning views Our kids had their own space upstairs and they loved it The swimming pool is cool and refreshing The breakfast was delicious. And we also ate lunch and dinner. Sri lankan food very well prepared and once again delicious The scenery is impressive with many birds and in the background lions rock and pidurangala The careleapers helped us with arranging taxis and tours There is no one around. Very quiet and peacefull

We loved to stay at Linwewa villa, with an amazing view on Lion’s rock and Pidurangala rock. Also the host Kumara was the best we could have, he arranged everything for us, tea coffee, breakfast and we had a very good dinner at the villa with fully equipped kitchen. We really recommend this place as it’s a good location to explore Sigiriya and its surroundings.

That we could not stay longer.
