Es estar bajo el techo de la Alhambra. Una maravillosa estancia muy bien preservada, con una terraza espectacular. Muy bien atendidos por si dueño (Simo) , además de estar atento todo el tiempo por si ocurrían eventualidades. Además, todos los dias por la mañana nos pasaba a buscar Fatima con su amable sonrisa y un desayuno típico de la zona muy contundente 10/10. Para una aventura fuera de tu zona de confort y tener una experiencia lo mas real posible recomiendo a Riad Sala Art totalmente.

Quizás un refill de agua cada dia, para no estar preocupada por si tenemos agua. Por lo demas. Todo bien.

Very stylish place

There are a few areas that could be improved to make the stay more comfortable. First, there was an issue with the hot water flow in the bathroom. It would also help to adjust the bathroom floor slightly so the water drains more easily after taking a shower. Cats seem to have access to the roof area, and as a result some of the sofas had a noticeable smell. Breakfast could be more varied, especially for guests staying longer than 2-3 nights. Walking to the breakfast location was also not very pleasant, as there were homeless people sleeping nearby and rubbish along the way, which created a poor impression. It may be worth considering delivering breakfast to the property at an agreed time instead of asking guests to walk to another location. Communication during breakfast was difficult because the lady serving it spoke very limited English. From the first day, we were not eating about half of the food being offered, so by the third day it would have been appreciated if the selection had been adjusted accordingly instead of serving the same items again. Additionally, tables were not cleared immediately after other guests finished eating, which attracted birds that were approaching our table as well. Some liquid food items that birds had access to appeared to remain on the table afterward, so it would be better to remove food promptly once guests leave.

Logement très bien situé dans la médina. Le personnel est très disponible, très sympathique. Le couchage est de bonne qualité. Nous avons apprécié la terrasse sur le toit, la décoration du logement.

Nous aurions apprécié un coin cuisine un peu plus pratique et mieux équipé.

Ali est une personne adorable. Souriant, aimable et d'une gentillesse incroyable, ainsi que la dame qui s'occupe des petit-déjeuners délicieux, avec un choix incroyable. La Riad a une super terrasse et super bien localisée.

Jemma el-Fna를 중심으로 마라케시를 관광하기 좋은 장소였어요. 방 하나인 줄 알았는데 옥상 뷰까지 포함된 독채여서 좋은 경험이었습니다.

The location was excellent, very close to the souks and Jemaa el Fnaa, making it easy to explore the heart of the city. Ali and Simo were wonderful hosts – meeting us from the taxi, taking us to breakfast at their other property, and responding very quickly when the water briefly went off.The property itself was clean, comfortable and full of character, with interesting and thoughtful décor. We especially loved the rooftop garden and spent lots of time up there enjoying the sunshine.A great stay with friendly, attentive hosts in a fantastic location.

Some spoons would have been useful - we managed to eat our yoghurts with forks!

Établissement déjà occupé sur la période alors que nous avions réservé via Booking et obtenu une confirmation de la disponibilité ! Nous l’avons appris au dernier moment après avoir écrit à l’établissement pour obtenir une confirmation. Pas très sérieux.

Wir kamen um 2 Uhr nachts am Flughafen mit unserer 7 Jahre alten Tochter an. Der sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Ali organisierte uns ein Taxi und holte uns persönlich am Eingang in die Medina ab und führte uns durch die engen Gassen zur Unterkunft. Der Riad ist wunderschön eingerichtet und die Dachterrasse ist einfach herrlich. Außerdem liegt der Riad nur etwa 3 Minuten zu Fuß vom großen Marktplatz entfernt. Auch das Frühstück, welches in einem anderen Haus auf einer Dachterrasse serviert wurde, war sehr gut! Dorthin wird man zur gewünschten Uhrzeit begleitet.

Hosts Simo and Ali, oh my god how great people!!! 10/10 service. Picked us up every morning to breakfast and guided back to riad! Breakfast was really good! Location 10/10. Taxi service from/to airport worked well and there was even a guy to carry our luggage from taxi to riad (approx 200m), taxi cannot stop in front of riad so you have to walk a bit. Thank you Ali and Simo!

We liked Riad Sala art very much! A very cool interior. The location is very good, in the heart of the medina, and yet very calm. The host, Ali, was always reachable both before and during our stay and was willing to help and share the best tips! We booked our transfer from the airport, and it was very helpful! Breakfast was delicious and served on the rooftop of another Riad, but it is very near Sala Art.

The hot water in the shower runs out very quickly, so you need to shower fast!

w Marrakeszu byłam 4 razy, to zdecydowanie najgorszy Rijad, w apartamencie było brudno, szczególnie na tarasie na dachu, napisałam do właściciela w tej sprawie, dziwnie zareagował jak bym go bez powodu atakowała, finalnie kolejnego dnia wnętrze było posprzątane, było zdecydowanie lepiej, ale nie wystarczy odkurzyć i zapalić mocne świece zapachowe żeby było czysto, dzień wcześniej próbowałam umyć kupki na herbatę ale nie mogłam ich domyć, po wizycie pani sprzątającej woda którą do nich nalałam dzień wcześniej nadal tam była :), półka z naczyniami i naczynia są brudne, półka częściowo się urwała, w jednym pomieszczeniu nie działa klimatyzacja, leci tylko chłodne powietrze a w lutym jest zimno, w pomieszczeniach zwłaszcza w nocy czuć dość nieprzyjemny wilgotny zapach, na ścianach wiszą czapki, obrazy całe w kurzu. Łazienka - kran na umywalce, wyrwany z podstawy, cały się rusza, woda właściwie nie leci, wzięcie prysznica to wyczyn, o czystości nie będę pisała, załączam zdjęcia. Taras - zdjęcia mebli, na których już chyba nawet koty nie chcą siedzieć, podłoga nie wiem kiedy była myta, nie tłumaczy tego stanu pobliska budowa ponieważ to nie jest świeży brud. Śniadanie - chleb na 4 sposoby, sztuczny krem czekoladowy, orzechowy, dżem, masło, 4 porcje jajek na patelenkach na 6 osób, próbowałam znaleźć logikę :), sok pomarańczowy z kartonu, kawa - woda o zapachu kawy, jakość jedzenia skandalicznie niska. Rijad z dużym potencjałem w świetnym miejscu, chyba właściciel nie do końca wie jak teraz wygląda

Lovely Riad in a quiet area, only a few minutes walk to the main square. The rooms are big with lovely high ceilings and very tastefully decorated, some original timber ceilings and frescos. Had our own rooftop terrace, lovely to sit out in the evenings. Very clean, fresh towels provided every day. We got a great Moroccan breakfast every morning, pancakes, different breads, freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs, spreads, tea/coffee. This was one of the highlights of the holiday. The owner Ali is very friendly and kind, he gave us lots of information on living in Marrakech, tips on what to see and where to eat He organised our airport transfer for us and we booked buggy rides in La Palmarmaie through him. Highly recommend this Riad, we would love to come back.

Ali, our host, was amazing! He made us feel instantly at home, and he helped us throughout our trip. The breakfast was delicious, and our family room was enormous. He has renovated this family building to make a beautiful and comfortable guest suite.

Please note that, as this is a local and authentic place, the toilet was in a separate room from the sink/shower.

Ali is the most exceptionally kind and wonderful host out there. His Riad is also just as exceptional. It is situated perfectly (within the walled city) within walking distance from anywhere and everywhere you might wish to go. It is also beautiful (in fact, perhaps more than some of the sights on Tripadvisor), spacious, and luxurious. I couldn't recommend this Riad more.

Riad très bien situé, au calme et à deux pas de la place principale jemaa el fna . Accueil très chaleureux par le propriétaire Simo, adorable service et petit déjeuner fabuleux de la part d’imane. Simo a su se montrer disponible avant notre arrivée et pendant notre séjour , avec de très bons conseils. La chambre est très spacieuse, disposant d’un roof top privé pour boire le thé le soir en toute tranquillité., idéal pour une famille ou un groupe d’amis. Propreté irréprochable. Todo, Simo y su hermano muy atentos con nosotros, un día llovió mucho y se mojo un poco el Riad y ellos enseguida muy preocupados por solucionarlo. El Riad decorado con muy buen gusto y camas muy cómodas. Super cerca de la plaza y zona muy tranquila. Repetiré y lo recomendaré sin duda alguna. Muchas gracias por todo Simo.

si tuviera que decir algo que mejorar sería la zona de la ducha, ya que estaba todo junto y si querías luego usar el lavamanos estaba todo mojado, ya que estaba la ducha y lavamanos junto, del resto todo maravilloso, repetiría a pesar de esto que me pareció incómodo.

렌트카를 이용했는데 집주인(Ali)이 친절하게도 주차장까지 마중나와서 집까지 안내해주셨습니다. 집은 아늑하고 전통적입니다. 날씨가 좋으면 루프탑에서 여유로운 시간을 보낼수 있습니다. 그리고 엘피나 광장과 매우 가까운 위치입니다.

바닥 카페트를 주기적으로 교체하면 좋을것 같습니다, 샤워 후 배수가 원활치 않습니다.

Heel goede ligging, mooie inrichting, knappe kunstwerken, prachtig dakterras. De gastheer Ali is heel vriendelijk en doet alles voor zijn gasten. Je voelt je thuis bij hem.

Amazing experience! You do not need a travel agency when you stay in Riad. The host organized us all transfers which is essential to find the place. We were literally carried back and forth to the Riad. We received great recommendations on where to eat and about the sightseeing. Local breakfast on the rooftop was excellent. Our own Riad had private rooftop just for our family.

Accessibilité difficile : 2 lieux exigus et vétustes + bcp d’escaliers . La location : ce n’est pas un Riad mais une petite maison . Pas de réception . 4 couchages mais 1 seul point d’eau dans la salle de bain . Aucun flux d’air dans le logement. 1 petite fenêtre dans chacune des 2 chambres . Pas moyen de faire fonctionner le lustre dans 1 chambre. Pas de lampes de chevet dans les 2 chambres . Électricité non fonctionnelle sur un grand nombre de prise . Lavabo de la salle de bain non fixé. L’eau coule à la base . Robinet de la salle non fixé. Bouge fort . Douche à l’italienne : écoulement inefficace. Débordement vers la pièce principale possible en cas de non vigilance . Serviettes éponges trouées . Aucune patère pour poser les serviettes . Aucune support pour poser les affaires de toilette . Quasiment pas de papier wc . Mise à disposition de vaisselle et matériel de cuisine, sales + pas de table pour utiliser ce nécessaire de cuisine . Départ à 5h45 pour navette aéroport, seuls . Sale/propre : difficile à déterminer Je suis extrêmement déçue. J’ai été très influencée par les commentaires lors de mon choix. Il semblerait que je sois la 1ere à émettre un avis aussi négatif. J’ai l’impression d’avoir été dupée. Le rapport qualité-prix est mauvais. Ali m’a proposé une annulation sans frais que j’ai refusé par fatigue et manque de possibilité Ali a tenté maladroitement de « rattraper ». Cela n’a pas suffit. Je n’ai pas d’apprécier mon début de séjour à Marrakech

Das Riad ist wunderschön mit hohen Zimmer, viel Platz, eigener Dachterrasse und im typisch marokkanisch Style eingerichtet mit modernen Elementen. Ali und Simo waren super Gastgeber und sehr hilfsbereit. Man konnte sie jederzeit kontaktieren und man bekam sofort Antwort oder Hilfe. Sehr freundliche, aufgestellte Gastgeber! Das Frühstück ist sehr gut.

Da das Riad mitten in den Souks liegt, etwas schwer zu finden. Aber auch hier kann man einen der beiden Gastgeber kontaktieren und sie helfen sofort.

Staying at this Riad felt like staying at a family home. The attention and care from the beginning until the end of our stay were truly amazing. The location of the Riad is fantastic. I highly recommend it! Many thanks to Simo and Ali.

Wspaniały Riad i jeszcze wspanialszy gospodarz. Simo pomógł zorganizować transfer na lotnisko, wycieczkę za miasto,doradził nam najlepsze restauracje. Riad w najlepszej z możliwych lokalizacji. Świetny taras na dachu. Faktycznie cicha okolica. Śniadania takie jak w opisach czyli obfite i smaczne. Polecamy z całego serca Simo i jego Riad. Klimatyzacja w pokojach i wygodne łóżka zapewniły nam spokojny sen.

Loved the Riad! The hosts were incredibly attentive. We had the pleasure of meeting Ali, a true gentleman, who welcomed us warmly and spoke with pride about the Riad, which was originally his grandmother’s home. From meeting us in the parking lot and guiding us to the Riad, to taking us for a beautiful rooftop breakfast and showing us around the neighborhood, his hospitality was outstanding. Even when we were leaving, he arranged for someone to help with our luggage and escort us to our car. He even texted me afterward to make sure we made it home safely. The location was perfect, and our only regret was not staying longer. We’ll definitely be back!

Such a beautiful place to stay in Marrakech, offering the privacy of your own space with the perks of a traditional hotel or riad, like breakfast and attentive staff on hand when needed. From the moment I booked Riad Sala Art, I knew I was in good hands. Ali messaged me straight away on WhatsApp, so I had his contact details before I even arrived. He then met me personally to guide me to the Riad, asked about my food preferences, and gave me spot-on recommendations for local restaurants. On the day I left, he even walked me to the taxi point and cleverly suggested I film the route — and thank goodness he did. (I can get lost in my own house, so this was genius.) Now for the Riad itself… wow. Spacious, full of colour, and beautifully renovated — you can feel the love in every corner. This was once their grandmother’s home, and that history gives the place real warmth and soul. Ali and his brother have done such a sensitive job restoring it, and it shows. The roof terrace? Breathtaking. The rooms? So comfortable and stylish. The location? Perfect — just a short walk from the main square, but peaceful and tucked away. As a travel professional of 25 years, I’m trained to notice the small things. This stay? Not one negative. I fell in love with the Riad — and the people behind it. Ali and his brother have other properties too, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to clients, friends, or fellow travel experts. I’ll absolutely be back. Ali — thank you. Truly.

Lovely accommodation with great personal support of the two brothers hosting you. Used to be their grandparents house, which they modernised yet with the old character preserved. Great authentic, and fun place to stay including your own rooftop hideout. The two bothers are very friendly and go the extra mile to make sure you have a great time.

its sited in medina so u cant drive up to the door. have to walk about 5 mins from nearest drop off point. that was a known issue and common to all accoms in the medina.
