Location, location, location! Easy to get to, as well as get into. Felt very secure and very clean! The entire unit was perfectly furnished, with a complete kitchen.

Very noisy. The windows, though beautiful in letting lots of light in, allowed the continuous (24/7) street noises to enter. Also, the listing was a bit misleading. Photos and description seemed to indicate there were two living areas which would have been perfect for 4 people. The bedroom was perfect but the pullout couch in the living room was not very comfortable, leaning to one side. As well, we had to call for a flat sheet to fully make the pullout couch. We had a choice of waiting for someone to deliver it or go down the common hall to a bin where we could select our own sheet. This was just a minor inconvenience and we appreciated the prompt solution. Also, the shower - difficult to figure out how to switch between rain shower and hand held shower as the fixture was a bit broken. Otherwise, perfect for our stay.

Location couldn’t be better. Apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well furnished, including kitchen accessories. Very easy to access, but safe. Easily accessible parking on the same street.

The closest parking lot had a very small design, requiring backing up to make the turns inside from level to level.

Très bien situé au coeur du vieux Montreal, arrivée autonome très simple. Logement propre et confortable, nous avons séjourné à 8 et avons eu assez de place. 3 salles d'eau convenaient parfaitement

La qualité des sanitaires est bonne mais date un peu. Il manquait un bouchon de lavabo et l'écoulement de douche n'était pas top. Pas de possibilité de garder les bagages avant de repartir, pas pratique avec un vol à 20h50.

Well equipped, clean and tidy and in a great location. Easy to find and access. Close to lots of amenities and tourist attractions. Area is nice and feels safe. Walkable to central train station. Fix rate taxi fares from the airport are reasonable.

It is spacious and quite comfortable. The location is excellent. It is well maintained and nicely decorated.

One of the two showers only had scalding hot water. We asked for it to be fixed and it always seemed like someone would come and work on it but it never materialized. We all ended up just using the one shower which was inconvenient.

Very spacious and in a great location right near Notre Dame. Keypad entry into the building/apartment made it very easy to check in as well. Lots of cafes/restaurants in the area as well.

Quite a lot of street noise unfortunately. My biggest concern was while the lower half of the bathroom window was frosted to prevent people on the street from looking in, the top half was not, which meant anyone at the hotel across the street could look straight down into the bathroom/shower. Also would have been great to get some tea towels in the kitchen - had to rely instead on paper towels to dry cutlery, plates/bowls etc which seemed a bit wasteful.

Great location in old town. Secure parking nearby. Very comfortable, clean with a modern feel. Great mattresses. Nice fridge. The two bedrooms made it idea for us.

Interior was full of cosmetic damage on walls, (holes in the wall near door) paint missing, doors of kitchen cabinets did not stay open despite catches. Lift broke on last day so had to carry suitcases down three stairs. Staff on end of messaging were very responsive but the local maintenance team were either not engaged to make sure property was in good condition or the owners did not want to invest.

We loved this accommodation. Lucky to book it last minute for our stay in Montreal. Location is just a short walk from Notre Dame Basilica and was perfect for access to Old Town Montreal. Very clear instructions (although the elevator requires an additional security code not just for weekends as advised but also for after hours during the week....no real issues as we quickly worked it out). Great coffee maker and plenty of coffee which was much appreciated. Great linen and extra towels were provided. All appliances were in first class condition and it was lovely to have washing and laundry liquid provided. We highly recommend this accommodation!

This place is nearly perfect! The space is gorgeous, perfectly furnished, the bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable, and it had just about everything we needed. Also very conveniently located to Old Montreal and just above a fabulous breakfast/brunch spot.

The half bathroom door didn’t close probably and the upper part of the full bathroom window can use an extra covering. Neither one was a big issue though.

Both the dishwasher and Microwave didn't work. We notified the hosts through the chat and never got any update as to if they were going to fix them. We had two toddlers with us, so we ended up having to do a lot of washing.

The location was excellent, in walking distance of the venues we wanted to visit (Museum of Illusions, Port, History Museum), with lots of cafés and restaurants.

The shower hadn’t been cleaned and was filthy with the previous guests mess still there. The shower and shower room were in a terrible state of repair. The handle to the shower was a bare screw and The towel rail had fallen off the wall. The bath mat was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned and there was hair on the basin.

The photos look nice, but it's just lipstick. So many broken things. Property manager didn't care to fix them. They say they'll call, but they don't. They say they'll fix them, but don't show up. - The apartment has clearly been flooded and had extensive floor damage. - Broken dishwasher was unusable (property was aware of this before arrival) - Shower temperature knob was stuck in the full hot position, making it unusable. - Disgusting used sponge as only option to clean dishes. - Kitchen exhaust fan did not work and lights were burnt out. - Broken closet door was off the tracks. - Bathroom tap rotated freely. - Burnt light in kitchen - Light switch plate broken. - Bathroom exhaust fan control was broken. - Living room light switch was broken. Had to unplug the light every time. - Kitchen drawer tracks were broken. - No floor mat in bathroom. - No mat for boots at entrance. I've tried to have this resolved by the property and booking.com, with not luck. Don't waste your time like I did.

The windows were too thin, it really needs upgrading with double glazing if using as a rental property. We were woken up constantly (6+ times a night) by noises outside throughout the night every night. You can even hear full conversations out on the street.

Location! High ceiling bright apartment. One separate bedroom and sofa in the living room - convenient for a family. Cosy bedding, good pillows. Everything work properly. There is a parking garage in 1 min. (same street 2 buildings earlier).

Modern apartment, however might need some touch of updating. A corner of the cooktop is chipped. This does not affect the quality of the accommodation in any way. However, if you have a young child, you need to be careful.

This was a spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit with kitchen facilities and living room. There is a king bed in one room and a smaller bed (queen or double) in the other room. The unit was very comfortable and there was lots of space to sit, do work, do stretches, etc. It was very easy to get access to the unit. All the passcodes were sent to us through booking.com in a timely manner. The unit was very new, looked newly renovated. There was a washer and dryer unit in the washroom, although we did not use it. The location was excellent. Very close to the convention centre and right in old Montreal. Many good restaurants nearby.

The washroom was missing a knob to the fan, so we could not use the fan. There was some dust in the floor when we arrived, so that could’ve been cleaned a little bit better. The windows are a bit thin, so we could hear what’s going on outside. However, it was at a quiet corner of the building, it was not loud to begin with anyway. There was no safe (at least not that we were aware of).

The location and cleanliness

The doors had missing locks. This includes the washroom door as well. Bewildering that anyone can see that the locks are missing and yet no one did anything about it? Not very happy about this when there are children and old people in the group. Also, one of the showers had a knob for the heat setting stuck. The water was too hot for a shower. All of this should have been checked before the check in.

When I reached out to ask to change rooms due to the non stop construction across the street that started at 7 am and finished at 7pm every day! We were trying to work but it was impossible.

What a location! A block from the iconic Notre dame basilica - you’re right in the heart of it - with so many great cafes and shops steps away. Easy to get in and out. We also had the penthouse and it was a beautiful unit with 2 full bathrooms and 1 powder room. Very clean and chic and smelled like fresh laundry when we walked in. Highly recommend penthouse - the loft bedroom is very private.

My friend did see a few ants, I wasn’t bothered, it’s an old building. Yes it can get noisy outside. The sofa bed in the penthouse could use an update. It was pretty amazing tho, we really had a great time

The location was fantastic. It was easy to get around Old Montreal and there were lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. very nearby.

We found reasonably priced parking nearby but there were problems with the entrance/exit code. It would be great if there could be some arrangement about nearby parking. The television seemed rather difficult to navigate.

Beautiful and spacious apartment in a perfect location. It is more like an AirBnb than a hotel, but the hosts were super responsive which was really appreciated.

There was nothing that I didn’t like. I repeat, there was nothing that I did not like. I’ll say one more time, there was nothing that I didn’t like.

L'hôte est très réactif et répond rapidement à nos demandes. Facile d'accès, stationnement à proximité. Le logement était très beau et il est très bien situé, à proximité des transports en communs et de nombreux attraits touristiques (Vieux-Port entre autres). Les lits étaient confortables. L'appartement est climatisé et confortable même s'il fait chaud dehors.

Certains équipements étaient endommagés (douche principale inutilisable puisque impossible de régler la température, mais nous pouvions utiliser la douche du bain, divan-lit difficile à ouvrir, porte de salle de bain qui ne barre pas, etc). Bruyant à l'extérieur après 23h (normal pour un appartement en plein centre-ville), mais notre sommeil en a été affecté à un certain point.

Deux chambres, deux salles de bain = un + quand on a deux ados :) Propre, fonctionnel et très bien situé. A deux pasde Notre Dame.

Location was excellent. We were missing some linens and the host responded immediately and delivered what we needed.

The sofa bed did not fold out easily as one bracket on the base had come loose. It took some time to come up with a makeshift solution. Host was responsive to the information to improve the situation for future guests.

For first time travellers in Montreal, we really love the accesible location. There's food around the corner, parking spaces available both side and back of the place and walking distance to Notre Dame and Old port. The place feels very homey, neat and clean. Perfect for a family with kids like us. Kitchen utensils and cookware are available as well, so we had no problem with early breakfast cravings. But most of all, Nomad Saint Jacques is very accomodating, they check us from time to time if we need anything, made sure we are settled and enjoyed our stay. We'll definitely come back and recommend our family and friends.
