Reviewed Nov 2, 2024I have been staying at Duck Inn for many years, staff and management is very friendly, the ground floor has a very lively and cozy bar with a pool table. The food is good, especially the breakfast and I believe the kitchen and bar is open 24 hours!
The brewed coffee can be stronger, it is a bit watered down.

The area wasn’t in the nicest and or safest areas but hotel had security and we parked car across street with no issues. P150 for 24 hours.

Reviewed Sep 22, 2023Well, i just needed decent place to sleep 5 hours and take shower before My Si-kat transportation to Puerto Galera departs. Almost perfect for that, affordable, basically tidy and near where bus leaves.
Shower pressure was not that great, but just ok.

The Duck in was old and clean. It smelled a bit musty but it was a spur of the moment place to stay, the price per night was higher than even nicer places but it worked out well for us.

The waitress got confused over meal orders. Fish and chips came without any chips as I did not add as a side order. Charging for bottled water in the room seems petty on top of the other charges. All other hotels I have ever stayed in provide two free bottles. If they feel they need to charge, they should uplift the room rates
