Didn't get the room I had booked weeks in advance. The 'upgrade' room had two small beds - not what I wanted. Altogether an Ok place to stay, if a little in the years.

Upgraded to a double room because original room felt like jail. Room 605 was good; not wonderful, just good. Although there is a big(ger) fridge and there is an electric portable stove, there are no plates or spoons and forks. There was 1 big pot and 1 big pan and 1 metal laddle. So, not usable. There is an electric water kettle and 2 cups and saucers with 2 teaspoons. Lobby is very nice and A/C cool, other common areas like the hallways, feel like you are in a boarding house, not in a hotel and it was hot, no air circulation, no air conditioning or even fans in those areas. Location for my purposes was very good, everything was walkable. Mall is very near, less than 3 minutes brisk walk. One has to be aware of the surroundings and the possible criminality, though. But the hotel has people stationed right outside to hold the door and assist with transport all the time which was very good. There is a dedicated space in front of the hotel for parking if one was to be picked up or dropped off. Staff was excellent, front desk, security, wait staff, housekeeping, everybody!

Breakfast variety was very limited and the ingredients were not Philippine quality at all. There is rice, 1 soup, 1 vegetable dish, 1 meat dish, hotdog or sausage, 1 pasta dish, some sorry bananas sliced diagonally (I wish they just kept them whole as they were very small ones to begin with, having them sliced and the edges browning made it look like they were not sanitary enough to eat. Sliced watermelon that did not look fresh (this was in all the days I was there, not 1 day good, 1 day not so good-same every day). There is a water, juice and coffee station; a live egg cooking station, pancakes, sliced bread. That is it!

I booked a superior room and they place me in a standard room and insisted that it was a superior room..my colleague was placed in a superior room that had very different amenities. I was terribly unhappy about this and they made me pay extra for a superior room eventhough I booked a superior room on booking.com. The pictures on booking.com is not a true representation of the actual rooms and facility.

Està ben ubicat i el preu és raonable, malgrat que per la mateixa zona hi ha millors hotels al mateix preu

Les instal·lacions són antigues i necessiten una,reforma. El personal de recepció no t'ajuda davant de problemes sorgits i són molt intransigents.

La reserva que hice no corresponde con lo que me han ofrecido, por el simple que hecho que no tiene nada que ver las fotos de la reserva realiza con la habitación que me han ofrecido, siendo la primera peor que la segunda que ni funcionaban las luces y faltaba toallas. No recomiendo este hotel a nadie para que no se lleven decepciones como nosotros

AC doesn’t always work

The room was average but service was terrible. When I ate breakfast on the last day, it did have more food instead of empty containers; as of the previous days.

The 1st morning 8am breakfast buffet had a lot of empty containers and no one refilling them. No coffee or juice and no one tending the omelet station. 3 staff members were standing by the dining hall entrance talking and didn't offer any help. Ate a few scaps and left. The 2nd morning found out that one of the 3 staff members standing around was the actual omelet chef which overcooked my omelet and there was a little more food than empty trays. I had to ask for coffee because still no coffee or juice was present at this breakfast buffet. The 3rd morning someone must have complained because there was more food, coffee and juice present. I asked the chef not to overcook my omelet and he gave me one that was soupy inside, that was uncalled for. Also during my 3 breakfast times I did notice dirty tables not being cleaned and staff members standing around enjoying their conversations and laughing. It's good they're happy but the customer should be as well. The 3rd day near the end of my breakfast I did see a manager come out because all of a sudden the staff started to work.

Bed is too low. Told me the room was for disabled, but they lied! Toilet too low. No handholds. Can’t use shower. Food is nasty!

Staff are friendly and helpful. I had a comfortable room at an affordable price. The location was great for me to walk the old city, visit museums, and find nice places to eat. Excellent Value.

The bathroom was a bit cramped but wasn't really an issue.

Übergreifend sehr nettes, freundliches Personal. Frühstück ok. Raumgröße im "Deluxe"-Zimmer ausreichend. Einige Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe.

Ausstattung alt, abgewohnt, sanitär schwach. Modriger Zimmergeruch - eckelig.... Klimaleistung schwach. Trotz Zimmer im 5.Stock - Wand vor dem Fenster = stockdunkel. Man hat sich äusserst unwohl gefühlt! Lage des Hotels in eher schlechterem Viertel in Manila - extrem voll ele Bettler, vor allem kleine Kinder.

Young girl at checkin was great and very helpful.

Sign of the times in Manila with the Street Sleepers. But everyone is friendly, regardless.

It is my third time at the Manila Lotus Hotel and i am so happy with the facilities and the kindness of the staff, don’t hesitate to book a room here, you have everything you need around the hotel 7 Eleven, Robinsons is just at 3 minutes walk across the street

Small rooms some of the aircon are not working well

Breakfast is ok. However when you stay longer than a week, breakfast becomes monotonous or repeatitive. Of course, there's nothing you can do, it's free. Just be content with what is offered, that's the game.

Very poor (if any) wifi in the room, don’t expect to work online in your room. Don’t arrive late for breakfast - there will be slim pickings. After you enter your assigned room, you need to request for the bed to be made up as, for some bizarre reason, this is not done as standard.

Breakfast has now been excluded from regular booking and is an extra cost

I had to request a sheet for my bed four times. The last time, at 11.30pm I finally got one Staff at check in were rude

Es ist sehr schade, dass im Hotel keine Bett-Leinen verwendet werden. Die abgegebenen Wolldecken kommen etwas schmudelig daher und erscheinen unhygienisch. An einem Abend (ca. 18.30 Uhr) wurde ich vor dem Hotel von einem Jugendlichen um Geld gebeten. Als ich ablehnte, versuchte er in meine linke Hosentasche zu greifen. So eine Dreistigkeit ist mir bis anhin in Manila noch nie passiert.

The location is good in the middle of Ermita. The lobby is nice and the staff very helpful. The breakfast is fine.

I booked a superior double room. The room I got (room 415) was small. I can’t imagine what the regular rooms are like. The room was shabby and not very clean. The WiFi was useless in both the room and the lobby.

Vid incheckningen denna gången kändes det inte så välkomnande av personalen i receptionen. 2 yngre killar och 2 yngre tjejer bakom disken. Viskade, skrattade och såg allmänt ointresserade ut när vi checkade in. Vi var 2 par. När vi sedan fick helt olika standard på våra rum, och på helt olika våningar. Hävdade de att det inte gick att byta p.g.a att det var fullt på hotellet. Detta trots att vi bokat rummen för över 6 månader sedan, och skrivit att vi ville ha rummen nära varandra. Tacka vet jag de äldre som jobbade i receptionen innan. De var väldigt serviceminded och jobbade för hotellets bästa, de betedde inte sig som om de ägde hotellet. En rekommendation till hotellet. Låt de unga nybörjarna byta plats med städpersonalen i några månader. Så de lär sig uppskatta jobbet de har fått i receptionen. Tyvärr sista gången vi bodde där.

La posizione a due passi da Intramuros è dal rizal Park… la colazione accettabile se non si hanno troppe pretese… solo salata, ma per me non è stato un problema

Il fatto che nel letto non ci fossero le lenzuola, che la pulizia della stanza avviene ogni non ben precisato numero di giorni, che gli asciugamani fossero soltanto 2 (che a loro dire avrebbero dovuto bastare per mani, faccia, doccia e parti intime)
