Einfach alles. Ein wunderschönes kleines Resort. Tolle, große Zimmer, bequeme Betten, gute Balkonmöbel. Schöner Pool. Frühstück war auch sehr lecker, allerdings keine lokalen Speisen. Lage am tollen langen Sandstrand, die abendlichen Strandspaziergänge zu den Restaurants im Zentrum.

Nichts was eine Erwähnung wert wäre.

Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Es wird auf der offenen Terrasse mit Blick über den Pool zum Meer serviert. Einfach herrlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Abends im Bett ist das Meeresrauschen zu hören. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Es gibt nichts zu kritisieren.

We had a lovely stay as a family of three at this beautiful, boutique hotel. It is a short 5 minute tuk tuk from Hikkaduwa and about 30 minutes from Galle, located on a beautiful stretch of beach. We preferred the location being slightly away from the main tourist parts of Hikkaduwa and couldn't have been happier with the hotel. Lovely staff, excellent breakfast and beautiful rooms and grounds. We would highly recommend to couples or small families staying around Hikkaduwa. As there are only 6 rooms, you really feel like its having your own villa. Breakfast was included and you could get drinks all day, with a small afternoon food menu too. The staff helped organize travel as well as massages while we were there.

Sea Star Boutique Hotel - a very nice new hotel on the beach. Enjoyed my stay in the beach hotel. I had a very lovely sea facing luxurious room with a balcony. You can hear the waves from ocean which is so nice to fall asleep to. I loved having drinks on the balcony at sunset evening with great view and music. The hotel has an infinity pool and beach loungers with shade. Beach front is great and can have a morning walk jog along the sea. The staff is very professional and helpful ,the food is healthy and tasty. I look forward to visiting again with family in the future.

Property itself is stunning.

It showed free airport transfer and even showed on Booking.com. I showed this to the Resort however they did not honour. We also had other issues with transportation and costing which was quite disappointing.

Everything was at your fingertips, it was so convenient.

Персонал восхитительный. Номера большие, завтраки великолепные! Отдыхали большой семьей, в т.ч. ребенок 2 года 8 месяцев, брали 2 номера. Все остались довольны. Менеджер отеля выше всяких похвал, каждое утро обходил гостей и интересовался, может у кого-то есть особые пожелания. Мы обращались пару раз с личными просьбами и он всегда помогал. Тишина, покой и умиротворение.

Wunderschönes Hotel,sehr großer Pool ,sehr sauber und hoher Standard.So gesehen sehr gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis.Aufmerksamer Service und wunderbares Frühstück.Der Hotelmanager ist auch sehr aufmerksam und erkundigt sich jeden Morgen ob man was braucht und ob alles in Ordnung ist.Problemlos konnten wir auch spontan eine Nacht länger bleiben und ein Taxi wurde auch organisiert um zum nächsten Standort zu kommen.Wenn wir wieder in Sri Lanka sind würden wir auch jederzeit wieder das Hotel buchen

Lage: ausserhalb des Trubels, aber Fußläufig zu Restaurants, Bars und Surfspots. Freundlicher Service. Kleines Hotel und somit viel Platz am Pool und im Garten. Highlight: das auf der eigenen Terrasse servierte leckere Frühstück !

Beautiful comfortable room with a fantastic view. Pool lovely and the beach is stunning and quiet. Great snorkelling and there are restaurants walking distance along the beach. Can easily get a tuk tuk into Hikkaduwa which v cheap. Delicious breakfast and great coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Water was only available is small plastic bottles so a lot of plastic waste. A water filter available for guests to top up would be handy. Some noise from the road, trains and dogs at night but would be the same all along there.

• Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und äußerst freundlich. • Große, weitläufige und sehr moderne Anlage, überwiegend mit deutschsprachigen Gästen. • Toller Meerblick, alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. • Gute Angebote, z. B. für Massagen. • Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Etwas mehr Abwechslung wäre jedoch schön, zum Beispiel ein Angebot für ein sri-lankisches Frühstück. • Für ca. 400 Rupien (etwa 1 Euro) kommt man schnell und günstig in die Innenstadt. • Wichtig zu wissen: Direkt am Hotel kann man nicht schwimmen. Dafür muss man ins Zentrum von Hikkaduwa fahren.

• In der Dusche fehlt eine Ablage für Shampoo, Duschgel etc. • In der Anlage lebt ein Hund, der nicht offiziell zum Hotel gehört, sich dort aber heimisch fühlt. Er reagiert vor allem auf Einheimische sensibel. Manche Touristen lassen ihn auch mit ins Zimmer, was für Allergiker wichtig zu wissen ist. Abends störte mich teilweise auch das Gebell, obwohl ich Hunde sehr mag. • Die Marmelade beim Frühstück war immer die gleiche und schmeckte sehr künstlich. Sri Lanka hat sehr leckere Marmeladen (z. B. Mixed Fruit Jam oder Pineapple Jam) – hier gäbe es definitiv Verbesserungspotenzial. • Das Hotel befindet sich nicht mehr direkt in Hikkaduwa, sondern in Kumarakanda. Die Gegend ist nicht besonders schön, allerdings kommt man wie erwähnt schnell und günstig ins Zentrum.

Ruhige Lage direkt am Strand. Wegen der aufkommenden Wellen konnte man nur bis 11Uhr im Meer schwimmen. Ein gutes Frühstück und ein gemütliches gutes Restaurant am Strand 50 m entfernt haben wir genossen. Der familiäre Dodanaduwa Tauch- und Wassersportclub nur 5 Minuten entfernt hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Auch für Ausflüge in die Lagune.

Ich hätte mich über ein Moskitonetz gefreut. Leider war das Meer im Januar nicht klar genug zum Schnorcheln

Schöne Liegeplätze auf einem sehr gepflegten Rasen. Super Aussicht auf das Meer und bei 6 Zimmern fast schon wie eine "Familie". Cool das es hier Campari Orange gibt :-).

Schade das es beim Frühstück abgepackte Marmelade gibt, wo doch alles andere total frisch ist. Auch sehr schade das man die Bahn hört oder im Nebenhaus laute Streitigkeiten. Schade das man mit vorhandenen Wissen, Auto oder Tuk Tuk keinen Nutzen für Touristen macht !!!

Un angolo di paradiso a hikkaduwa Non ci sono parole per descrivere questo boutique hotel. Siamo stati accolti da un succo di frutta e da uno staff molto gentile e cordiale. Abbiamo avuto l’occasione di conoscere il proprietario, simpatico e molto disponibile. Le colazioni sono state abbondanti e gustosissime. La posizione dell’hotel è perfetta per rilassarsi. lontano dalla frenesia della città, ma a pochi minuti dal centro con il tuk tuk.

Beautiful beach, house and people. What a place to start our holiday. We know Sri Lanka has beautiful hotels but this one is hard to beat. Clean and large room with wonderful view of the sea from your large balcony. Don’t hesitate to book!

Alojamiento precioso en primera línea de mar. Las instalaciones son muy confortables y agradables. Al disponer solo de 6 habitaciones es muy tranquilo y personalizado. Desayuno rico. La piscina genial. La zona de la playa es tranquila y limpia, pudimos bañarnos en el mar sin problemas durante nuestra estancia. Personal encantador y super servicial. Masaje en el jardín estupendo. Sin duda repetiríamos!

Amazing small boutique hotel right on the beach; wonderful and helpful staff, spacious rooms and really good garden&loungers area. The breakfast and lunch options were great, and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel direkt am Strand. Alles extrem sauber und sehr freundliches Personal. Die Zimmer sind überdurchschnittlich gross mit einer schönen Veranda. Der Swimmingpool ist fantastisch. Das Meer hatte relativ hohe Wellen aber für gute Schwimmer kein Problem. Leckeres Frühstück und kleine Speisen am Mittag/Nachmittag. Am Abend können wir das Rest.Ember Beach empfehlen. Ca. 200m am Strand entlang. Super Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre.

Bel établissement avec accès direct à la plage. Très bien entretenu. La piscine juste devant notre chambre. Le personnel très sympathique. Merci pour la délicate attention pour notre anniversaire de mariage. La petite restauration très bonne, le petit déjeuner copieux est très bon également. Rien à redire pour nous tout était parfait. Endroit idéal pour clôturer notre séjour.

The staff! Prasanna, only in his first month as a manager and doing an excellent job! Udara, the coolest and relaxed guy on the team. Shalika, wo prepares a delicious breakfast. And of course Suwarna, a beautiful lady wo keeps everything super clean! Everyone works together, going that extra mile to make you feel welcome. The room (first floor) is huge and has a stunning view over the ocean. The bed is comfy and big. The shower is hot and has a good pressure. The minibar gets refilled every day with cola, seven-up and water. A tip for transport. Use the Pickme app, you can directly see what the price for your tuk-tuk/taxi will be. They pick you up wherever you want. The hotel has only 6 rooms and that makes it very personal. The hotel is only 5 years old, has an Austrian owner and is build with quality!! We stayed for 6 nights and saying goodbye to this beautiful place and his team wasn't easy! A place to come back to.

On the first floor the outside noise is loud (train passing by). If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs or ask for a room on the ground floor. There are only 2 sockets in the room, next to the bed. If you need a hairdryer, bring your own with long cable... After 18/19 o'clock there is no staff, only the night watch. For us not a problem, but something to keep in mind.

Если вам хочется уединения и полного расслабления, то вам сюда. Перед отелем протяженный,песчаный,пустынный пляж, вдоль которого приятно пройтись. Наш номер был очень просторный, чистый, стильный, матрас удобный, есть все, что нужно для комфортного расслабленного отдыха,завтрак вкусный.

Our stay at Sea Star Boutique Hotel was exceptional! The perfect start to our Sri Lanka trip! We spent four nights here and couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The hotel is beautifully designed with great attention to detail, spotless, and surrounded by a stunning beach and lush garden. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and simply beautiful. The service was outstanding! Every member of the team made us feel at home. A special thank you to Prasanna, Udara, Shalika, and Swarna for their kindness and care. We were also lucky to meet the owner, who is truly one of the nicest people we’ve ever encountered. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were beautiful and clean, and the entire atmosphere made this place unforgettable. Das sauberste Hotel, in dem wir auf unserer Sri-Lanka-Reise waren! Alles war super gepflegt und ordentlich. Die Mitarbeiter und der Manager sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war richtig lecker und sehr reichhaltig. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist traumhaft – mit schönem Pool und großer Terrasse zum Entspannen. Wir haben uns total wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Big rooms, new furniture, very cozy and comfortable, clean, big terrace with direct access to pool, great breakfast, minibar with free drinks, very nice staff, well managed hotel.

Location is not the best one, but with tuk tuk you can get anywhere in few minutes.

The property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and wonderfully decorated. Very cute. Bed was very comfortable. Enough sunbeds for everyone. Pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was okay. One day there was Sri Lankan breakfast which was amazing and way better than what they normally offer. There are huge gaps under the room door and between the balcony doors, which make it easy for insects, including cockroaches to enter the room.

The room with the amazing bathroom and stunning views of the beach. Swimming pool was lovely and all the areas around and on the beach were beautiful.

Beautiful rooms on the 2-nd floor with atmosphere and space, high attic, cinnamon smells and picturesque view from the terrace. Very kind and helpful welcoming. Short distance 1-2 kilometres with tuk-tuk to the restaurants area, while keeping away from tourists croud enjoying the sound of waves while getting to bed.

It’s an amazing place! Take your time in the beginning or at the end of your trip and enjoy this beautiful accommodation - rooms spacious, million dollar view, lovely employees. I think that’s so far one of the top accommodations I have ever had. Everything so clean, breakfast good, new building.

Best start to our family trip in Sri Lanka. First, the hotel atmosphere and views are amazing. An infinity pool puring into golden sanded beach with tall palm trees. The hotel staff really did above and beyond to help us in whatever we needed. Rooms are spacious and are beautifully decorated. Food is next level, fresh and tasty. If you want a 10/10 experience, this is the place.

Beautiful and super clean and tidy resort. It was so peaceful and relaxing and a nice stroll into town along the beach. Easy enough to get a tuktuk on Uber or Pick Me if you're not up for the walk. Great place. I look forward to coming back. I don't think the photos do it justice!

We stayed 6 nights at this lovely hotel. There are only 6 rooms so it’s very peaceful. We had a room on the first floor with fabulous sea and beach views. All of the rooms have these views. The sunsets are amazing! The rooms, bathrooms and balconies are extremely spacious and very comfortable as well as spotlessly clean. The owner is Austrian which may account for the very high standards of fittings and no decor. The pool and gardens are lovely with plenty of du beds. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and efficient. It’s not it the town center but there are several beach restaurants within easy walking distance and it’s very easy and cheap to order a Tuk-Tuk via Uber, costing about €1,50 each way, to the town center. We very much recommend enjoyed our stay here and are quite certain that it is one of the nicest hotels in this area.

Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Amazing sunset views. Beautiful clean infinity pool. So relaxing and staff are very helpful.
