Great location, walking distance to the centre. really friendly staff that went above and beyond, driving us around. Shop attached to the property. Nice green surroundings. Outdoor seating area. Good air con and mosquito nets.

It is very basic but the price is amazing.

Aucun regret sur cette emplacement , j ai eté tres bien reçu par Mihi et sa famille. Mihi a été super, de bons conseils , et disponible. J ai booké pour 3 nuits au début sans convictions en partant de france . Et des qu on voit leur maison on sait directement que tout va bien se passer. Mihi m a meme appris a conduire un TukTuk. Bref superbe experience chez eux , je recommande

Wij hebben heerlijk genoten van dit waanzinnige guesthouse. Hele lieve familie, die ons warm ontving en hielp bij van alles. De locatie is top en ligt dichtbij restaurants. Verder heb je een grote kamer, met nog een eenpersoonsbed, waardoor je ook wat ruimte voor kleren hebt. De douche was warm!

De WiFi doet het niet altijd, maar als dat het is!

Ne faite surtout pas confiance à l’oncle qui est omniprésent ( même au petit déjeuner) et qui ne vous lâche pas tant que vous ne passez pas par lui pour une activité. Frais de transport cachés Fuyez la proposition du spa « qui est le seul clean »… Attrape touriste. Bien mais hors prix!!!

Nous avons passé un séjour mémorable. Tout était absolument parfait ! La chambre était très spacieuse, d'une propreté impeccable et idéalement située dans la ville, ce qui nous a permis de tout faire facilement à pied. Un immense merci à la famille qui nous a accueillis, ils ont été aux petits soins pour nous du début à la fin. C'est un vrai plus de pouvoir organiser toutes nos activités directement avec eux, cela nous a grandement facilité l'organisation. Mention spéciale pour les petits déjeuners qui nous ont permis de découvrir de délicieuses spécialités locales. En bref, nous avons tout simplement adoré. Nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement et nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !

Posto molto bello a Sigiriya, immerso in una magnifica vegetazione. Siamo stati accolti molto bene da persone gentilissime. Mihi e la sua famiglia ci hanno dato tante informazioni e aiutato a organizzare spostamenti e un bel safari. Tutto nella massima sicurezza e tranquillità. Colazione ottima e abbondante!! Ci siamo trovati proprio bene!!

Pour le prix c’est vraiment incroyable, c’était propre avec serviette a disposition , la famille est super et tres arrangeante . Le petit déjeuner est super . Douche avec eau chaude , moustiquaire et air climatiser . Leur fil propose de vous emmener et venir vous chercher en voiture le soir pour aller au restaurant gratuitement et sur les point d’interet moyennement payement 10/10

La chambre est très pratique ! L’endroit est très mignon ! Mais surtout la famille est d’une gentillesse absolue ! Ils ont tout fait pour m’aider et je les remercie. J’ai vécu une excellente expérience à Sigiriya grâce à eux !

Sehr nette und freundliche Hausbesitzer, die bei Fragen immer zur Stelle waren. Touren und Transport nach Kandy haben wir ebenfalls mit den Besitzer gemacht, da die Preise sehr fair waren.

The family who owns the place where I stayed was very kind and helpful. They took care of all my needs. The breakfast was very diverse and consisted of local Sri Lankan dishes, which was a great way to experience authentic flavors. The location is also very convenient, as it’s very close to the center and the Lion’s Rock area. Thank you so much.

Amazing home stay with clean room and attached bathroom and the air con worked like a dream. Tucked away from the main street it was peaceful and quiet and only a short walk to restaurants nearby. I walked to Lions Rock early in the morning and it took about 30 minutes. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. I could not have asked for a better experience. It's an amazing place to stay in Sigiria. Very friendly hosts. Calm and peaceful, very green. The room is clean, bed is comfortable with all the necessary facilities, including hot water in a shower, a/c, and a hair-dryer. Very nice breakfast. Lion Rock is 20 minutes far by walking. Thank you for the accommodation and only the best impressions.

Die Familie ist sehr nett. Ich hatte schöne Gespräche, bekam viele Informationen. Sie sind jeder Bitte nachgekommen,haben nebenan einen Laden und haben auch Tuktuks vermittelt. Leckeres, reichhaltiges Frühstück mit" local specialities". Lage ist abseits der Hauptstraße, aber nahe genug, um die vielen Restaurants zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Wonderful place to stay in quiet surroundings but close to restaurants and only few minutes walk to main bus stop. Room was very clean with air con and hot shower. Fabulous breakfast outside on the terrace. The family were so friendly and kind with great local information. They also have a little shop there too. Really enjoyed my stay here.

Die Unterkunft war toll. Die Lage ist gut und die Eigentümer wahnsinnig nett. Leider sprechen die eigentlichen Eigentümer sehr wenig englisch, aber der Schwager, der sehr gut englisch kann, kam irgendwie jeden Tag ein zwei mal vorbei und hat gefragt wie es einem geht und was man gerne am nächsten Tag machen will. Er hat dann auch alles organisiert und einen bei den Unternehmungen gut beraten. Der eigentliche Eigentümer hat uns auch an einem Tag morgens zum Pidurangala Rock gefahren um da den Sonnenaufgang zu sehen und später noch nach Polonnaruwa. Das war alles sehr gut und wir haben ein wahnsinnig reichhaltiges Frühstück bekommen und nachmittags manchmal noch Kekse und selbstgemachte Säfte. Das war sehr nett. Das WLAN hat auch gut funktioniert.

Tolle und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, man hat sich während des gesamten Aufenthalts sehr wohl gefühlt. Zimmer sind sauber. Außerdem ein sehr leckeres Frühstück mit einer großen Auswahl. Preis-Leistung Verhältnis wirklich super!

Nichts zu bemängeln

Saubere Unterkunft mit sehr herzlicher und zuvorkommender Familie die für Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung stand. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und lecker. Die Familie führt ein kleines Kiosk direkt auf dem Gelände.

This homestay only has one accommodation, but the family makes you feel like you're home. They are super kind, helpful and happy! As a female solo traveler with some bad experiences (sexual harassment) in the last week I felt super safe and comfortable here. They helped me with a tuktukride to the Pidurangala rock with sunrise, but you didnt feel obligated. The room and bathroom are spacious, clean and comfortable. It's located only 10 minutes away (by foot) from the bus stop in Sigiriya and very close to many good restaurants.

Das Personal war sehr nett. Das Sri Lankian Frühstück war extrem gut und nie zu wenig - alles selbstgemacht und jeden Tag gab es etwas anderes. Fahrräder konnten direkt bei der Unterkunft ausgeliehen werde.

Gibt nichts auszusetzen :-)

La gentillesse et l’accueil des hôtes étaient incroyables ! J’ai vraiment passé des bons moments à discuter avec eux. Leur jardin est un petit havre de paix à proximité du centre. Et la literie est vraiment super confortable

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The AC worked good, shower had hot water. The staff were so nice, one of the staff booked me a safari tour and transport at a good price. He also took me around the first day and showed me the good restaurants to eat at which cooks the food fresh. I’d 100% recommend staying here

The family laid on an amazing Sri Lankan breakfast every day, delicious. The whole family was very welcoming. They arranged tours and taxis for us, even took us to a nice restaurant one night. We felt very at home there. The room is very spacious and clean. The private bathroom was described as having a cold shower, but the added bonus is that it has a HOT shower 😃. Great homestay, perfect for elephant safaris, Lions Rock and good restaurants.

The property is a 10 minute walk from bus station, plenty of cheap restaurants that have a variety of different foods. Accommodation was clean and comfy. Hosts were super friendly and served a lovely breakfast. They sorted a tuktuk to take me to Pidurangala rock to watch the sunrise and back.

The warm welcome and attention by host and neighbouring family (who spoke English) to making me comfortable was outstanding.. Lovely to walk out of the room to a pretty garden and delicious and filling breakfast. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean. I could park my motorbike directly outside my door. There's also a handy little shop at the house where you can buy some snacks and sit with the locals. I stayed an extra night. Stutiyi!

There was no bedside table with lamp so difficult to find the light in the dark to go to the bathroom.
