Ett värdshus; pub med nyrenoverade gästrum på övervåningen. Vi blev mycket trevligt mottagna med en välkomstdrink. Rummet var inte stort, men funkade ok eftersom vi inte hade mycket bagage. Läget utmärkt, precis mittemot Battersea Power station.

A lift would have been useful

Location is great, bang opposite the tube station with direct line into West End or the City. Welcome drink very welcome! A breakfast that is tasty and sufficient to keep me going most of the day.

I had hoped my room would have been a little larger as I did not book the lowest grade. A bedside table would have been handy.

We had Moon room, it was very clean, comfortable bed, great food and drinks. All the staff that we spoke to were lovely and friendly. I really enjoyed how it was decorated both inside and outside of the premises. I will definitely stay here again when I come London.

The staff were friendly and attentative. The land lady could see I had a long day and offered me a complimentary drink...which I thought was a nice touch The bed was comfy and the staff had put on the room fan in advance to make the room as co.fy as possible on a muggy warm day.

The prices of the beer...£7.90 a pint hurt. The food was also pricey and only ok...which very small portion sizes.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, we were able to leave our cases until check in which was a great help Location was great for the Battersea area. Bar area always busy. Breakfast great and included with the roo rate.

The room was very nice and had everything we needed. The only negative was the shower. It wasn't powerful at all and I would have expected it to be much better. Took a long time for the water to get hot. This was the only thing that let the room down

The room was so hot it was unbearable. Had a large ceiling fan on all night, which can be noisy if you're a light sleeper.as well as a celing fan, a large tower fan was on all night at the bottom of the bed. Neither of the fans cooled the room enough to have a good sleep ready for the embassy in the morning. Air conditioning would make this a great place to stay.

Great Location for Battersea Power station right outside the tube and Battersea Park is about 10 minute walk. Staff where really pleasant and very helpful.

I don't have anything negative to said about our stay at this hotel.

Hôtel situé au dessus du bar /Pub mais sans bruit dérangeant. Très bien situé pour vagabonder dans Londres. Un immense centre commercial juste en face si besoin ou ballade au bord de la tamise. Petit déjeuner salé ou sucré copieux. Chambres refaites chaque jour et spacieuse pour une capitale. Décor typique de Pub anglais. Possibilité de laisser ses bagages gratuitement. Tout ce qu'il faut..

La cuvette des toilettes ne tenait pas et la propreté de la douche peut être améliorée.

The room was far too hot. But I have to stress it was in the middle of one the heat waves and hopefully by the next time there's one they'll have some better fans or air con. Any other time of year and it would have been a faultless stay.

Loved the location (easily reachable by metro and bus), the cleanliness, the kindness of the staff and the value for money! The host offered us a welcome drink and agreed on storing our luggage while visiting an exhibition at the nearby NEON. The place is litteraly in front of the glamorous Battersea Power Station mall.

Breakfast didn't include any GF options.

Room does not match the listing; £585 for 3 nights (£195/night) is not justified We stayed three nights in the twin room. The room itself is fairly decent, but its location, the noise, and several discrepancies with the online listing make it poor value and overall misrepresented. Location and privacy The property is also a bar. This particular twin room is not separate from the venue, it opens directly onto the inner courtyard, which is full of bar seating and connects straight to the bar itself. To reach the room you walk through the bar and the courtyard, up two steps, to a door that is in full view of seated patrons. Entering and leaving the room means doing so in front of the bar's guests each time. Noise and the door The listing states the room is sound-insulated. It is not. Bar noise carries into the room as if you were sitting among the patrons. The bar operates until 00:00 (with wind-down from around 23:30) every night of the week, so quiet is not possible before then. The volume is significant so there is no point in relaxing or trying to sleep until the noise winds down. The door is difficult to lock. Staff advised us to make sure it is locked so that a bar guest doesn't open it mistaking it for a bathroom — an indication the room was not originally built or intended as a hotel room. To hear this kind of statement when arriving at your hotel is quite frankly bizarre. Bathroom differs from the booking.com photos No shower curtain. Fixed (non-removable) shower head, and poor water flow/quality generally. The sink is mounted roughly 30 cm off the floor, so you have to bend down to use it. No mirror at the sink. Overall All other rooms are in different buildings or other parts of the property; this was the only room of its kind and sits apart from the rest of the accommodation. For £195 a night, the mismatch between the listing (sound insulation, bathroom fittings) and the actual room is not acceptable.

Chambre très Propre, gare du metro devant l’hotel, petit dejeuner copieux et bon, gare de train à 5 min à pied, le uber boat est egalement à une dizaine de minutes. Pub au dessous de l’hotel pour boire un verre et manger une nourriture très bonne, j’aime bcp l’ambiance et la vibe de cet hotel on s’y sent chez soi. Le personnel est serviable et tres sympathique. Je reviendrai absolument dans cet hotel.

It was very close to Battersea Tube station. It had a lovely appearance of an old world pub. Although my room was small it was very bright and had a really comfortable bed. The bathroom was a good size with a great sized walk in shower. There was everything in the room you would need and the overhead fan was great. The staff were very welcoming and even showed me to my room and the welcome drink was a lovely touch. Finally breakfast as great. A lovely stay.

The place was fabulous, loved the flower walls and decor. Perfect for our stay, right by Battersea Power Station. Perfect location for Battersea Park too. We had breakfast and an evening meal - both very tasty and would highly recommend! Staff were super friendly, we were even given a free welcome drink on arrival..

It was extremely warm when we visited so sleeping was a bit difficult. Fans were supplied but was so hot. Wouldn't put me off staying again though.

Le stanze sono sopra al pub, quindi fino alle 23 sentirete un po di gente far festa. Inoltre sconsiglio in maniera più assoluta si soggiornare presso questa struttura durante il periodo Estivo, in quanto le camere sono sprovviste di condizionatore ed essendo esposte tutto il giorno al sole, la notte troverete in camera almeno 34 gradi perenni come e’ capitato a noi.

Great value for money. Lovely pub with beer gardens front and back, and the rooms upstairs are very nice. Staff were so friendly, breakfast was good, and the complimentary drinks on arrival were much needed after a long hot journey and very appreciated! Such a nice touch. Good location too.

The only comment I can make is that the room was very very hot. We were up on the second floor during a heatwave and it was almost unbearable. There were two fans in the room though which helped a tiny bit. But we appreciate there wasn’t a lot the hotel could do about this!

Fantastic location for Battersea. Lovely hotel with lovely decor and clean. Good breakfast. However, the room was ridiculously hot and muggy. The heat is overwhelming resulting in no sleep.

We visited in the summer, the corridor and rooms were quite warm. No AC but ceiling fans in the rooms did help. The windows are restricted in opening so we could not get much cool evening air in the room.

Hôtel sans climatisation mais equipe de ventialteurs bruyants. Situé au ras d'un très grand boulevard très passager, de jour comme de nuit. Une température qui n'est jamais descendue sous 25 degrés dans les chambres malgré une température extérieure de 27-28 degrés le jour et 19-20 la nuit ! Vraiment trop chaud et trop bruyant.

Très belle endroit au dessus d’un bar, le bruit ne dérange pratiquement pas au moment de dormir. Les employés sont extrêmement gentils et respectueux. Les déjeuners sont super. L’hôtel est à deux pas d’une station de métro et d’un centre commercial.

En plein été il peut faire chaud dans la chambre comme il n’y a pas de climatisation. L’hôtel est situé un peu en dehors du centre, pour nous cela n’a vraiment pas été un problème mais c’est bon à savoir.

Patricia was a warm and welcoming and helpful hostess. This is the cleanest place we ever stayed, particularly the bathroom. We much appreciated leaving backpacks there before and after check-in while visiting the sights in London.

Ubytování bylo 2 minuty od metra, což byla snadná dostupnost do centra. Velice příjemný personál. Pokoj byl čistý a udržovaný. Postel byla pohodlná - mám raději tvrdší a ta mi vyhovovala. Zároveň kousek od Battersea power station. Součástí ubytování restaurace s výběrem piv.

Opravdu malý pokoj, bez skříně či části na uložení věcí - byly jsme ale začátkem léta, takže to nevadilo :) V pokoji se dalo otevřít okno pouze na ventilačku, takže ve vedrech se nedalo pořádně vyvětrat. na ochlazení v těch vedrech bylo nutné mít zapnutý stropní větrák. Na snídani jste si mohli vybrat pouze ze tří jídel, což je škoda. V Londýně jsme byli zrovna ve vedrech (cca 30-33 stupňů), takže viz výše nemusí být nic dramatického během nižších teplot.

Super friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable room and perfect location for Battersea Power Station event. Would definitely stay there again if I’m in the area.

Loved the decor and the location opposite Battersea Power station precinct and the underground. Louise one of the bar staff was helpful and friendly.

Despite a ceiling fan being on constantly, the small room was far too hot in the London heatwave.

Wir mussten nach der ersten Nacht ausziehen. Die Wärmewelle in der Stadt erlaubte uns kein weiteres Verbleiben. Das Management hatte zwar nicht gelogen, da es eine echte Klimaanlage tatsächlich nicht bewarb, doch der Ventilator und die bereitgestellte Miniklimaanlage konnten kaum Abhilfe schaffen. Es ließen sich die Fenster nur zentimeterweit öffnen und der gesamte obere Stock war vollkommen luftdicht versiegelt. Englische Bautradition? Wir hatten eine Woche gebucht, mussten diese leider verfallen lassen.

Es hat was über einem Pub zu wohnen. Nähe zur U-Bahn Station, Battersea Power Stadion und Themse waren auch schön.⁶

Die Zimmer haben sich wirklich extrem aufgeheizt.Es war leider auch gerade eine Hitzeperiode.

Owner and staff were excellent, were friendly and did everything they could to accommodate our requests, even managed to give us a late table on the England football game against Norway. Location is perfect for Battersea, literally opposite the underground train station and less than 5 minutes walk from Battersea Power Station retail attraction, and the Thames Uber Taxi.

The room was incredibly hot due to the summer heatwave, the ceiling fan helped a little but the upstairs landing had sealed windows with no blinds or curtains which cooked the landing and heated the bedroom further! Rest of the Inn the temperatures were acceptable given the heatwave.

La chaleur Nous avons séjourné dans une chambre proche du bar au rez de chaussée, mais aucun bruit, la salle ferme à 23h Nous avons ensuite changé de chambre pour une à l'étage (c'était prévu) et il y faisait bien trop chaud, même les murs de la salle de bain étaient chauds... Des ventilateurs de plafond aident un peu mais pas suffisant

No air con. It was 38 degrees in the room. We had booked 3 nights but only managed to stay 2 because the room was so hot. They would not give any money back. And although breakfast food was ok, the server was not!

Location was great. Very pretty pub with lots of character. Room was clean. Would be a great place to stay for a very short stay - in winter.

I sent 3 emails to request a twin room, they were not answered and we didn’t get one. The room was extremely small with no storage. The room was uncomfortably hot - so hot we only stayed for 2 nights out of the 4. It was so unbearable we went to the expense of moving hotels, it was either that or cut our trip short and go home - it was that bad! I appreciate that we were in the middle of a heatwave, but I imagine that even in average summer temperatures the room would be uncomfortable. There was little ventilation once you were inside the guest area. The tower fan provided gave little respite, it definitely needs replacing. The bathroom was like stepping into a sauna. The only respite was to have a cold shower. Water was not provided. There were no extra fans available. We had booked 3 rooms for September - we have cancelled these due to the very bad experience we had.

Venligt staff, god morgenmad for prisen og god beliggenhed. Sjovt at bo ovenpå en pub, som også var et godt samlingssted for gruppen. Fint med ro, når man skulle sove, så var ikke et problem!

Vi var der om sommeren og værelserne var ALT for varme... ingen luftcirkulation og dobbelt så varmt som udenfor... Gjorde det desværre ret svært at sove.

The hotel is in a great location for the power station and the US Embassy. The room was nice and served its purpose for the night since we went out all day.

We stayed during a heatwave and the room was boiling hot. The ceiling fan didn’t do much to help neither did opening the windows which only opened a small way. The hotel did provide a fan however this also didn’t help much and was almost pointless.

Louise was a very pleasant member of staff, helped us a lot with buses to and from Wimbledon.

So hot no Air Conditioning 2 fans but they didnt help we had to resort to damp towels on top of us, very uncomfortsble nights. Room was quite small not what was shown when i booked.

This place is a great find and we'd definitely stay again (the welcome drink on arrival was a bonus we hadn't expected!) Lovely location, all staff were very warm and welcoming. The room was well equipped and comfy, and the breakfast was good. We also loved the decor throughout.

The only downside was the lack of air con - if we had not ended up staying on one of the hottest days of the year, this would have been no problem at all. We were provided with extra fans to make our stay more comfortable, which was really appreciated, and overall this did not outweigh all the positives about our stay.
