Phong Nha Cherish House

We really enjoyed our stay at Phong Nha Cherish House. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, and gave us honest advice about which tours were worth doing given the bad weather. They also kindly helped arrange a late check-in and taxis for us, which made everything very easy. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well.

The only thing to keep in mind is the location. It’s within walking distance of the main part of town, but during the rainy season the walk can be a little less convenient, so this is worth considering when booking.

- it's in a quite area, still very close to the centre. - there is bicycles and scooter available. - the private room was super comfortable and for a cheap price, with a nice balcony - good restaurants in the close area just 2min walking

- it was sometimes really noisy from the neighbour Hostel and from children running around and screaming.

The host is super friendly and helped me with booking my trip to the caves. I had a earinfection and she advised me what trip was save to take without getting into contact with water. The bed is also super comfortable, which is rare for Vietnam!

Es un sitio decente, limpio y te organizan excursiones, si es eso lo que vas buscando. Pero hay muchas cosas que puedes hacer por libre en Phong Nha (visitar Paradise Cave, Dark Cave, Phong Nha Cave, alquilar una moto y hacer un tramo de la Ho Chi Minh Route West…) y aquí te quieren vender el pack turístico para todo. ¡Sale mucho más económico hacerlo por tu cuenta y es súper fácil de organizar! Solo alquila una moto en la calle principal o pilla un Grab. La chica de recepción fue muy amable y nos perdieron ducharnos el último día antes de hacer el check out.

El desayuno es muy escaso. Mis expectativas estaban más altas de lo que encontré por la calificación de este sitio en Booking. Pienso que, si viajas solo, como dan facilidades de cenas conjuntas y actividades organizadas, te puede gustar. Si vienes en pareja, creo que debe haber sitios con mejores vistas o instalaciones más bonitas.

Està relativament lluny i la bici gratuïta només són dues hores.

Excellent hostel! The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The lady at reception spoke very good English, which made communication very easy. They were also very accommodating when I needed to shorten my stay, and they did so without charging any additional fee. When I arrived at around 4 AM, they kindly allowed me to go directly to the room to get some sleep and then complete the check-in later at 9 AM. This was incredibly generous and helpful, and I really appreciated it. The staff also gave me very useful advice and recommendations regarding my stay, which I really appreciated. Everything was very clean, including both the rooms and the bathrooms. The breakfast was also very good. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would highly recommend staying at this hostel! 👍🏻😊

Posizione ideale per vedere le cose principali! Bici gratuite per 2 ore e poi il prezzo per la giornata è davvero irrisorio. Struttura pulita ed accogliente, con possibilità di fare il check-in online se si arriva tardi, come nel mio caso. Hanno molti tour a cui si può prendere parte con soluzioni ideali per tutti i tipi di viaggiatori. Colazione molto buona a scelta tra 5 opzioni! Bagno spazioso e pulito in camera. Letti comodi e con la giusta privacy.

Nhi gestisce la struttura in modo impeccabile con cura e attenzione per ogni ospite. Parla un inglese eccellente, affidatevi a lei per ogni vostra necessità. Ci ha proposto un bellissimo tour e organizzato in modo efficiente e veloce il trasporto per Hué

Frühstück war eine kleine Portion, wurden leider nicht satt :( Unterkunft war nicht tip top sauber, etwas staubig. Besitzerin war manchmal etwas „hart“. Immer sehr hilfsbereit und auch alle Infos top und schnelle Infos! Aber am ersten Tag zB wurden wir nicht herzlich empfangen sondern neben dem Wäsche waschen wurden wir nur gefragt was wir essen wollen, nichteinmal kurz Hand geschüttelt und uns willkommen geheissen

La struttura è super accogliente, dotata di ogni necessità per girare in zona. A due passi dal fiume per fare una bella passeggiata e mangiare qualcosa. La proprietaria gentilissima, ha organizzato una cena per farci stare insieme agli altri ragazzi del l’ostello , fare amicizia e conoscerci. Super disponibile per ogni esigenza. Siamo stati benissimo!

Llegué de madrugada y hasta el amanecer no pude encontrar forma alguna de llegar pero la próxima vez contrataré el transporte con ellos.

Très bien! C'est bien placé, vous pouvez louer des scooters, faire des activités, ou même réserver un bus! La literie est très confortable, et vraiment pas chère! Le petit dej est très bien et le personnel est très sympa et parle très bien anglais!

A cama era confortável, o quarto ficava bem fresco com o ar ligado e a estrutura no geral do hostel era boa. A localização era boa, próxima ao rio e de diversos restaurantes (indico o Lounge 8, muito bom!) Os funcionários foram proativos e a recepção estava disponível todo o tempo, sempre disposta a ajudar.

A beliche de cima é muitooo dificil subir e eu tive sorte em conseguir trocar por uma cama embaixo, porque ficar na beliche de cima em uma noite foi meio turbulento rs Apesar de a cama ser confortável, achei que a estrutura das cortininhas poderia melhorar para proporcionar melhor privacidade aos hóspedes. A logística do banheiro é um pouco confusa, porque o chuveiro fica antes da privada então se você só quer usar o toilet e alguem acabou de tomar banho, você molha todo o pé e faz lambança desnecessária no banheiro.

Nhi took super good care of us. They were super, super helpful! One of my friends had a broken arm so Nhi actually helped cut up the pancake into smaller pieces for him. That was very sweet! Generally, the staff was very friendly and helpful to answer all our queries and meet our requests.

Facilities could've been slightly better. Everything got the job done but could've been slightly more refined/polished.

The owner was so nice and always helpful. For example, she gave us a lot of information about tours and we ordered scooters with her. We got a huge room with even two double beds. The bathroom was huge. Air conditioning worked very well. I really recommend the family dinner!

Mình quên chụp ảnh nên cắt ảnh từ video, phòng sạch sẽ, rất rộng. Đặc biệt là nhân viên rất thân thiện, mình rất hài lòng với 4đêm tại đây. Bạn nhân viên tư vấn lịch trình tour và đặt hết tất cả cho mình. Dịch vụ và chất lượng quá tốt so với giá tiền. Tiền Phòng rất rẻ. Từ home đi ra động phong nha rất gần. Highly recommend mọi người nên ở home này nhé.

We had a fantastic stay here. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. It was very convenient to book tours and bus tickets directly at the property. We also joined the family dinner, which was one of the highlights of our trip – delicious food, generous portions, and great value for money. The friendly atmosphere made it easy to socialize with other guests and share travel experiences. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Nice value stay: soft beds, nice ac, hot shower water, drinking water available, breakfast and one morning drink (tea, coffee, etc.) included. Enthusiastic to help with tours, motorbike rentals, etc. A 20-40 min walk to town, but bicycles can be used for free.

Staff are overly enthusiastic on pushing tour packages. Check in feels like walking into a tour office salespirch rather than coming into a hostel where I intend to meet & connect with travelers. It's their business approach, so I get it. But it sets the tone for the experience there. Suggest reeling it back a bit... AC in our dorm room was leaking and kept the floor soaked & bags got really wet first couple of days. On the third day it was repaired, to their credit.

- l’accueil était un peu abrupte car la propriétaire était frustrée parce que je n’avais pas répondu à son message (pas le bon numéro mais c’est ma faute donc encore désolé pour ça )… n’oubliez pas de répondre sur WhatsApp et de donner votre heure d’arriver même si elle coïncide avec la tranche horaire proposée sur booking - la chambre sentait fort les égouts très fortement quand nous sommes arrivés - on ne nous a pas expliqué comment fonctionnait le petit déjeuner donc on a pris du temps à comprendre qu’il fallait directement le commander dans la cuisine

We had an amazing time at Cherish House. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcomed us like family. Their homemade family dinners were absolutely delicious—definitely a highlight of our trip! On top of that, they perfectly arranged all our tours and tickets, making our travel completely hassle-free. Would love to come back!

O staff é bem gentil e atencioso, localização muito boa com ótimos restaurantes por perto e uma vista linda! O quarto mais espaçoso que tivemos no Vietnam, tudo limpo e arejado. Eles oferecem passeios e aluguel de moto, além de passagens de ônibus. A host é muito simpática!

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay. The receptionist was incredibly friendly, helpful. The room was very clean, cozy, and well-maintained, and the bed was super comfortable, which made me sleep very well. I also really appreciated that the homestay could help arrange food, tours, and bus tickets, making everything much more convenient for travelers. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this place to others!

La encargada era muy amable y me ayudó con toda la información que necesitaba. Incluso para agendar mi bus al siguiente destino. Me gusta el ambiente que se dio, sobre todo con las cenas familiares. Instancia donde podías compartr con otros huéspedes. Además estaba muy limpio.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this homestay and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment I arrived, everything was perfect—the rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. In particular, the receptionist provided outstanding support when it came to planning tours. If you ask, they are more than happy to give detailed advice, suggest the best options, and tailor recommendations based on your preferences. Thanks to their enthusiasm and local knowledge, organizing trips around Phong Nha became so much easier and stress-free. I would definitely stay here again!

J'ai aimé la chambre et son prix bien que cela sentait l'humidité. Il y a un billard. Je ne vois pas quoi d'autre. Le repas familiale du soir était bon.

Alors la personne a l'accueil s'est surtout intéréssé de savoir les tours circuit que j'allais lui commandé, elle ne s'est pas montré agréable. J'aurais du regarder les commentaires negatifs avant car c'est bien spécifié. De plus j'ai vu qu'elle répondais aux commentaires négatifs en étant désagréable avec ses clients et en ne se remettant pas en question, c'est dommage. Bref il n'y a pas de personnel agreable ici, le petit déjeuner est trés limité si vous aimez mangé le matin. J'ai opté pour le repas familiale du soir, nous etions nombreux de l'hostel c'était cool ça mais pas de trace de la famille donc en fait c'est entre voyageur. La partie billard en haut n'est pas entretenu, c'est sale et les déchets y restent. Pas d'endroit pour se poser dans les parties communes. Je suis aller a l'hostel a coté pour me trouver un endroit sympa et meme manger. Pas de contrat avec la location du scooter.

Хорошее место. Приятная девушка-менеджер Ни. В номере и вообще в хостеле чисто, каждый день убираются. Хорошая цена и есть завтрак. Река с красивым видом в 100 метрах. Мне здесь понравилась, если приеду в этот город, то остановлюсь здесь ещё.

Соседи включали кондиционер на самый холодный режим и прятали пульт управления под подушку🙈😂 Думаю, что нужно заранее выставлять среднюю, комфортную для всех температуру и забирать пульт на ресепшн.

After a long sleeper bus we just wanted to check in, but the staff were talking about tours and explaining a couple of them thoroughly. Maybe just saying you can book tours through us if you’re interested and leave it up to the guests to enquire further if they’re interested. Everything else was great.

The most wonderful kind people, super social guests. The family dinner is cheap and delicious. The facilities are so clean.
