The owner is so helpful and kind, we appreciate a lot their hospitality. The location is great, as it is very calm and has amazing view, 30 minutes of walking from the city center of Ella.

It is on the eastern side so the sunlight in the morning is very strong.

This home stay is such a gem! The family are incredibly friendly and helpful. The view is stunning and the room was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfasts were huge! Such great value, we would absolutely recommend this home stay. Thankyou!

Es war eine echt wunderschöne Unterkunft. Pabasara (die Besitzerin) und ihre Familie sind so herzlich und liebevoll. Jeden Morgen haben wir ein wunderschönes Frühstück erhalten. Man kann jeden Tag aufs neue entscheiden wann man essen möchte und was man gerne hätte :) Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber. Die Unterkunft ist etwa 5 Minuten mit dem TukTuk von Ella entfernt und trotzdem hört man den Verkehr nicht. Man wird morgens von der Sonne und den Vögeln geweckt. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Location is good … not far from the Ella town… keep away from crowned. The room is clean. And hot shower water is a plus.

The room is kinda small. Would be better if there are more furniture to put your things on and at least you have somewhere to hang your clothes. Now only a tiny table …. I have to put my stuff on the floor. And there is only a blanket to cover for sleeping… to be honest it is a bit smelly , I don’t think it has been washed after the previous customer left.

Very welcoming and helpful owners, we received many tips regarding the area and some help with renting a scooter. The room was cozy and clean, we had a hot water in the shower. Delicious breakfast with a pretty view.

Ich hatte einen großartigen Aufenthalt! Der Host war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit – er hat mich sogar persönlich mit seinem Auto zurück in die Stadt gefahren und mir geholfen, ein Motorrad auszuleihen. Das Zimmer war mit Abstand das beste meiner gesamten 3-wöchigen Reise: sehr komfortabel, sauber und für den Preis absolut unschlagbar. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und kann die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Das Hotel ist etwas außerhalb gelegen aber mit TukTuk sehr gut zu erreichen. Ein eigener Roller oder Motorrad macht es aber definitiv einfacher. Für die Gegend ist aber sowieso ein eigener Roller (3000LKR) empfehlenswert.

Morgens war es bereits schon ab 7 Uhr sehr laut und im Badezimmer hat es sehr gestunken. Nettes Personal, das aber sehr oft klopft, ist aber ja gut gemeint :)

“Perfect Stay Surrounded by Nature” We had an incredible experience at this homestay! The location is ideal – far enough from the noise of Ella town to enjoy peace and quiet, yet surrounded by beautiful, lush nature. The food was absolutely amazing! Both breakfast and dinner were the best meals we had during our time in Ella – so delicious and authentically Sri Lankan. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Every morning, we woke up to a breathtaking sunrise right from our bed – such a magical start to the day. Most importantly, the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They made us feel completely at home and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for peace, nature, and genuine hospitality!

This was our favourite place that we stayed in Sri Lanka. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, they organised everything we needed during our stay. The view from the room is incredible! The room and bathroom were very clean and the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. We also opted for dinner which was also very good and such great value for money!

We had a great time at aura view Homestay! The room is nice and clean with a great view over the valley. Pabasara and her family were very friendly and welcoming! We had breakfast and dinner there, both were delicious; we also took a cooking class with Pabasara where she showed us how to cook dal, pumpkin curry and fried vegetables. All in all one of the best accommodations of our trip so far!

Our stay at Ella Aura view homestay was really good. Our host was a really kind lady who made us a perfect breakfast every morning. This place has a wonderful view and the location is very convenient. 10/10.

The views from the room were absolutely gorgeous, overlooking a lush valley of tea fields and mountains. The room felt very new and clean and the area around the Homestay was peaceful and quiet. We were looking for something outside of the busy Ella town and since we had our own TukTuk it was perfect, because the location was just about 5 minutes from the main street of Ella. A perfect location! Pabasara and her family were so sweet and she was very attentive to our needs and a very kind energy. The breakfast was also lovely overlooking the beautiful view. The shower had amazing water pressure and got so hot and it was honestly the best shower I had in Sri Lanka. I completely recommend Ella Aura Homestay if you are looking to be perfectly situated in a quiet/peaceful and clean room just minutes from town. :) Couple from 🇺🇸

We stayed at Nadishe's a Pabasara's place only one night but it was enough to know how hospitable, kind and helpful they are. They let us check in super early so we could drop our luggage and take an early train trip to Nanu Oya. They offered us a pickup (2-hour drive from Ella) and we agreed. Both of them and their little daughter were waiting for us at the railway station. We had a nice day with them, stopping in Nuwara Eliya for an Ice-cream. The room was really cozy with fresh smelling linen and gorgeous view over a tea plantation. The shower was exceptional. Huge shower head with hot water. The breakfast was really filling, with many traditional breakfast dishes of Srí Lankan cousine. We loved this place and we will visit happily again ❤️

Pabasara and her family were so welcoming. The homestay is a little out of town but worth it for gorgeous balcony views at breakfast and the family helped give us a lift or arrange tuktuks into town. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Great facilities for the price, including nice hot shower. Would recommend to anybody looking for a friendly homestay in Ella :)

Everything about this property was beautiful. Amazing views right from the bedroom & balcony, and still only a 5 minute drive to town. Pabasara is an incredible host, who cooks very tasty Sri Lankan dinners and breakfasts for us. The bed is really comfy, and a nice bathroom too.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room is new, clean, and very comfortable, with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the view even during the delicious homemade breakfast. The hosts are very kind and ready to help with everything needed (renting scooters, organizing transportation by tuk-tuk or taxi). Highly recommended!

Lovely homestay with excellent hosts. Nice clean room with views great views from balcony. See Peacocks sleeping in a tree right in front of you and monkeys jumping around.

Our hostess was so incredibly kind and caring. She is an incredibly good cook and prepared super delicious food for us. They made sure we had a scooter and our laundry was also washed. The whole family is just super nice and there was a great atmosphere the whole time. Thank you so much for this unforgettable time and especially for the incredible food.

The owners are friendly and helpful. They take care of you so much. The room has a balcony and a nice view. It's in a quiet place. The room and bathroom are clean and new. You have everything you need to sleep comfortably. The breakfast was delicious :)

We had wonderful time at Ella Aura View Homestay. The room was nice and clean, with breathtaking view from the balcony on misty mountains surrounding Ella. Our host was amazing - really helpful, she gave us recommendations about local attractions and ways to commute. Food served there was also delicious and homemade, we asked for vegetarian option and we got fantastic jackfruit curry 💚

This place is truly an oasis of peace and hospitality! The hostess who welcomed us was not only a wonderful person but also an exceptional chef. She prepared delicious breakfasts for us every day, and choosing to have dinners there was the best decision – the food was so tasty that we joked about wanting to take her with us for the rest of our journey! She and her husband were incredibly helpful and kind – they organized taxis for us, and every arranged ride was always on time. When we asked for some laundry to be done, they took care of it without any hesitation. Thanks to their assistance, our trip to the tea fields was perfectly organized. We felt genuinely cared for, and we’ve never experienced such thoughtful hosts before. The room was clean, comfortable, with hot water and a beautiful view from the balcony. The location is ideal for those seeking peace, as it's away from the city noise. We wholeheartedly recommend this place – you’ll truly feel at home!

They have hellped us on visiting special places in ella by arranging tuk. two wheeler also available for rent Good home made food and tea or coffee available on our choice. They helped us even on booking for return bus to our home town. Enjoyed the entire trip very well 😊 Highly recommended 👌

This is Run by a amazing lady who is so sweet and down to earth she literally made us feel like home and even though after our train ride we reached home so late still they manage to make us feel so comfortable since its new establishment better whatsapp her for the location and defintely ask for a fan even thought its cold outside room can get a bit stuffed she made sure we had everything and even arrange transport for us with a very reasonable price as tourist it can be overwhelming with getting the right driver and guide breakfast was good as well served with lots of love i wish them well and good luck on your new homestay journey !

They started last week i.e. week 32 of 2024. We were their first guest stayed for 2 days. On the day when we reached it started raining they came to pick us free of cost which shows a great gesture also it feels totally homely while staying with them. They have a cute little daughter too. Also they served home made food which was really amazing... loved it, Being an Indian, we had our first proper meal in srilanka with them. Rooms were super clean with all proper amenities and a soothing fragrance. Thank you soo much. Hope to see you again. As usual, the lady was also a great fan of SRK :) Totally recommended.
