Sehr freundlicher Host, sehr gutes Frühstück

Sehr einfache Hütte, aber sauber!

Geen aanrader!!! Toen we gingen slapen sprong er plots een kikker op mijn hoofd, daarna zat er een kakkerlak naast het bed en in onze valies! We vonden ook nog een worm in het bed en een salamander op de muur achter het bed. De hygiëne is ondermaats! Er was geen muskieten net om het bed, terwijl er in Ella wel veel muggen zijn. We gingen om 1 u 's nachts weg en komen hier nooit meer terug.

You can see into the room from the swimming pool, so privacy is a bit compromised if someone is using the pool.

- prachtig zwembad - mooi uitzicht vanuit de kamer - tuktuk service naar het centrum - vlakbij het treinspoor voor de start van de wandeling naar Ella Rock

- door het mooie uitzicht zit je natuurlijk iets verder van het centrum, maar dit wordt helemaal opgelost door de tuktukservice

Nos encantó la estancia. La cabaña es muy bonita y acogedora, y las vistas desde la habitación son preciosas. La piscina da mucho juego y es perfecta para relajarse y disfrutar del entorno. Además, el personal fue súper amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Una experiencia muy recomendable.

Wir waren für zwei Nächte in der Unterkunft. Es war alles perfekt, der Bungalow an sich, das Frühstück welches einem auf der Terrasse serviert wurde, die Aussicht und zusätzlich noch das überaus freundliche Personal, welches einem stets behilflich war. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Gab wirklich nichts zu meckern.

Wir hatten ein kleines geräumiges Häuschen nur für uns. Die Aussicht war eine 10/10. Die Anlage befindet sich mitten in der Natur/ ruhige Lage. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, respektvoll und zuvorkommend. Die einfache und unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit den Hotelangestellten via Whatsapp war super. Jederzeit konnte so z.B. ein Tuktuk bestellt werden. Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt - hier ist der "Kunde/ Gast" wirklich König. Jeden Morgen wurde uns das Frühstück mit frischen Früchten, frischgepressten Säften usw. ins Häuschen gebracht. Der Pool mitten in dieser Kulisse war ein absolutes Highlight. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Das kleine Holzhäuschen mit seinem Charme war leider schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Der Rest des Hotels wurde bereits renoviert. Unser Holzhäuschen mit einigen Löchern in den Wänden/ im Dach war daher einladend für einige tierische Freunde :-) Wir haben die Löcher dann mit Toilettenpapier gestopft, sodass wir keine ungebetenen Gäste hatten. Aber damit muss man wohl in dieser Kulisse/ mitten in der Natur auch ein bisschen rechnen!

Incredible views from the cabins, friendly and available staff. The pool and breakfast served at your patio were also nice.

It is a little far from the town. However they provide tuk tuk service for a charge. Also, sometimes you hear animals running over the roof which can be scary at night but nothing dramatic :)

- locatie top, leuk om dagelijks op de spoorwegen te lopen. Perfect om te voet Little Adam’s Peak & Ella Rock te verkennen. - super lekkere homemade Sri lankan curry! - dagelijks heerlijk ontbijt op het terras!

- wij hadden geen persoonlijk contact met de eigenaar, maar met een van de medewerkers. Absoluut geen probleem voor ons!

Our favourite stay in the whole of Sri Lanka. What a view this was! The staff was super friendly and accomodating. Very peaceful location, and this just 15min from the busy main street of Ella. Wish we could stay longer!

We absolutely adored the lovers view cabin. It was incredibly comfortable with the best view I have ever seen. The staff are also exceptional and eager to help with everything. Could not recommend enough

In a gorgeous location with an amazing view! The staff at the property were so helpful and always on hand for anything we needed. Breakfast at the room was a highlight and the free tuk tuk service into the town was amazing.

A very tiny point, but the pathway/steps leading to the cabin were quite uneven and broken so needed phone torch to see at night time.

Wow… the views from this hotel are absolutely stunning. The staff are so kind and friendly. They offer a tuk tuk service into town and back via WhatsApp. The breakfast was served on our balcony and was absolutely delicious. We also had lunch here and the food was the best we had in Sri Lanka so far. They catered to our dietary requirements too. Couldn’t recommend this place more for a tranquil, peaceful stay. The pool was amazing with stunning views - so cold and refreshing just what you needed in the heat! The room was a great size with nice bathroom. We wished we could stay longer

Amazing location and view form our room was incredible. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had a great stay.

Just need to be aware that the location. Is about a 10 minute tuk tuk ride out of the town along smaller Seles and unsealed roads.

We loved everything about it! The view from the cabin is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is amazingly friendly. They brought breakfast to the cabin each morning, and we also ordered dinner one, which we also ate at the cabin. It’s quite a rocky road up to the cabin so they can arrange a tuktuk to drive you to Ella’s Main Street for free and they will pick you up for a small price. Amazing service!! They even organized a tuktuk tour for us to see some of the sights in Ella. Absolutely loved it!! We were sad to leave..! Highly recommend 😊

das Cottage bietet eine fantastische Aussicht und es ist sehr ruhig, weg vom Trubel. das Frühstück wurde jeweils ins Zimmer gebracht und war super lecker und mit Liebe angerichtet. ich hatte dort die besten Pancakes! ausserdem ist das Personal rund um die Uhr für einen da und hilft wo sie können. es gibt einen TukTuk Service in der Unterkunft zu fairen Preisen. Der Pool ist ebenfalls toll!

die Strecke vom Zentrum zur Unterkunft war jeweils sehr holprig mit dem Tuktuk wegen der Strasse…

Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Landschaft mit den Gemüsefeldern, dem Wasserfall und dem vorbeifahrenden Zug. Für eine Abkühlung kann man in den benachbarten kleinen aber feinen Pool springen und ebenfalls die Atmosphäre und den Blick genießen. Zu jeder Zeit kann man die Besitzerin entweder persönlich oder via WhatsApp ansprechen und Dinge wie Frühstückszeit oder sonstiges besprechen. Man kann entweder zu Fuß oder mit dem hoteleigenen Tuktukservice sowohl in die Stadt Ella als ich von dort wieder abgeholt werden. Die Fahrer wissen bei der kleinen und mit Schlaglöchern sehr genau wie man fährt! Ich hatte meinen eBook Reader in der Unterkunft vergessen, kontaktierte sie und sie fand ein tolle Lösung: er wurde mir mittels Fahrer in Mirissa übergeben. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich und ein toller Service!

The cabin is clean and comfortable, with fabulous views. The owner and staff can't do enough for you. We had a lovely breakfast on our balcony. It is walkable into Ella from the cabin, but they also offer a tuk tuk service by messaging the owner. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Very long bumpy road to property.

Wir haben 3 Nächte in der Cabin verbracht. Wir waren sehr gespannt auf die Unterkunft, da sie auf den Fotos schon so toll aussah. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Aussicht ist der Hammer. Mit so einem Blick wacht man gerne auf. Der Weg dahin ist etwas holprig, über die Bahngleise kann man jedoch ne gute Abkürzung in die Innenstadt laufen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Man hat hier auf jeden Fall seine Ruhe, im Gegensatz zur hektischen Stadtmitte. Das Frühstück war lecker, das Bett bequem. Es gibt auch einen TukTuk Service zur Stadtmitte. Ab und zu sieht man auch sen ein oder anderen Vogel und Pfaue vorbeilaufen.

Ein paar Haken an der Wand, um Klamotten/Jacken aufzuhängen wären noch gut :)

Geweldig uitzicht, heerlijk ontbijt en een heerlijk zwembad. Super vriendelijke eigenaren. Ons mooiste verblijf tijdens onze trip in Sri Lanka.

De weg naar de accommodatie is wat hobbelig, maar de accommodatie biedt een taxiservice met ervaren tuktuk chauffeurs die goed weten hoe ze de toch wel steile, hobbelige weg moeten rijden.

Het prachtige uitzicht! En de ontzettend lieve gastvrouw en heren! Ontbijt op het balkon was zo fijn! Heerlijk nieuw zwembad! Weg er heen is echt voor pro tuk tuk rijders maar ze halen je net zo lief op!

Je zit nu nog een beetje in een bouwval.. maar dat zal vast snel opgelost zijn en dan is het prachtig!

Absoluut prachtig! We hebben een super comfortabel en fijn verblijf gehad en de service is top. Het kan wat ons betreft niet beter :)

Property was in a peaceful location, this means it is slightly further away from the centre. Hosts were great and gave lifts to and from the town in their tuk tuk. Hosts were very friendly, helpful and made you feel welcome. Breakfast on the balcony was amazing!

The only issue we had was that they were in the process of building a new lodge/building and this meant that spending time on the balcony wasn’t as peaceful as it could have been. Obviously we appreciate that this is not avoidable and will be completed soon and we were just unfortunate with our timings.

Posizione stupenda in mezzo al verde con una vista mozzafiato. Colazione ottima portata direttamente in stanza. Camera abbastanza basica ma pulita. Staff gentilissimo e super disponibile.

Strada un po’ impervia, difficilmente raggiungibile in auto ma i ragazzi dello staff ci hanno portati su e giù con il tuk tuk a qualsiasi orario. Manca la zanzariera sul letto.

Tolle Aussicht und sehr leckeres Frühstück!

Lage etwas abseits des Zentrums, dafür jedoch die super Aussicht und kostenloser Tuk Tuk Service in die Stadt.

Onze kamer was TOP! Het uitzicht, het ontbijt, het personeel…alles was naar onze wens! De rust was fenomenaal in contrast met het drukke stadscentrum. Het zwembad was een aangename verrassing waar we elke dag gretig gebruik van maakten:) Ook de tuktuk-service is een groot pluspunt. Het is een kleinschalig hotel wat de mogelijkheid biedt tot gesprekken met andere gasten en het personeel. Een extra dankjewel aan Nipun voor de goede zorgen:)

Het geweldige uitzicht!!!! Zo wakker mogen worden is een cadeautje!! De weg ernaartoe is verschrikkelijk maar het geweldige personeel denkt mee en helpt met alles. Ontbijt is ook geweldig!

Niets aan de accommodatie!! Alleen de weg omhoog er naar toe . Maar de geweldige mannen hebben ons zo geholpen en naar beneden gehaald en gebracht voor een heel klein prijsje

Toller Ausblick aus dem Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, liebevolles Frühstück. Man konnte sich mit dem Tuktuk in die Stadt fahren und abholen lassen. Es gab außerdem einen Pool, der erst neu gebaut wurde und auf den Fotos noch nicht sichtbar ist.

Die Unterkunft wird aktuell ausgebaut, was natürlich erfreulich ist, doch dadurch musste man quasi durch eine Baustelle auf sein Zimmer laufen. Das wird allerdings nur ein temporäres Problem sein. Ebenso ist es mit dem Auto schwer zu erreichen. Nehmt für den letzten Kilometer das Tuktuk. Wir gaben auch unsere Wäsche ab, leider kamen zwei Teile mit frischen Curryflecken zurück, die vorher nicht da waren.

They are constructing a new Cabin. If you plan to hangout and take in the view from your room during the day it is distracting. If you plan to hike and spend the days away from the cabin you won’t notice much.

The view from our room was beautiful! We could see Ella Rock, and Waterfalls right opposite. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The road to the cabin was an adventure by itself as we had our own tuktuk. The staff however offered us tuktuk rides to the main road and back. The breakfast was also very delicious and it was delivered to our room by our request. I highly recommend this accommodation!

We just loved it, the owner was very caring and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The vue was breath-taking, with the waterfall and the night we could admire a sky full of stars. She changed breakfasts for more variety, which was nice. Free shuttle to the city center was very helpful :-) I would definitely recommend this room to couples who wish to have a mesmerising stay!

Nadeesha and the team were so kind and made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable

Amazing stay and hosts super welcoming, short walk from Ella high street along the train track was a great way to get around with stunning views. Nadeesha is a wonderful host and her father took us to Secret Waterfall in his tuk tuk which was an incredible experience. Breakfasts brought to the balcony in the morning were lovely. Could not be better.

If you are looking for a beautiful Place outside of the Busy Ella roads, this place is for you! Breathtaking views of the landscape and the Waterfall especially in the morning when you Open the curtains are hard to surpass! Staff was also very friendly helped us with a Scooter and Picked us up from the Train Station. Accomandation was slightly basic , but not in a bad way still cozy! We would come again :)

This was one of the most amazing places we’ve stayed! We arrived nighttime in the rain, upon waking and pulling back the curtains the view takes your breath away. Home make cooking delivered to your room and eaten balcony. Hotel staff (3 siblings) collect you from Ella town by tuk tuk. Spotlessly clean, great shower, tea and coffee in room. Would definitely recommend for quality peaceful stay.

Peaceful location with an amazing view on Little Adam’s Peak, Ella Rock and one of the waterfalls (forgot the name. There are also Peacocks running around in the garden :) The staff is really nice and helpful and made the stay perfect

Stunning view, delicious breakfast, super helpful staff members who even did a Tuk Tuk tour for our sight seeing requests. only 20 minute walk into Ella and even came to collect us to save our taxi driving up a small road. Helped us celebrate our anniversary in a super special way - would recommend to anyone!

A nice cabin for two with an amazing view in front of a waterfall away from the main road! The room is comfortable and clean and the host was so nice and .welcoming The road there is a bit challenging so a tuk-tuk drive is required but the view and silence are definitely worth it!

The bathroom had a bad smell

Everything! They are very helpful and kind. Had the best sleep ever. Breakfast at balcony was very delicious. Also, they provide tuk tuk, laundry, dinner etc.

The view from the room was beyond expectations, it's absolutely surreal. The staff at the property is so helpful and caring and they also helped me plan my day trips to near-by waterfalls and treks. They also pick you from the train station as a complimentary ride. Overall top-notch hospitability.

Lovely views of hills and waterfall and very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Also the walk into Ella on the railway line is great.

The road to get there is a little narrow and windy in parts but well worth it

This stay was as expected according to our budget. It’s a basic room with beautiful views. The staff are lovely and bend over backwards to assist you. They provide a free tuk tuk into town which is great, and organised our taxi to another destination.

We didn’t really like the first breakfast option, but that’s because we’re not big on crepes etc. however, the next day we asked for a modified breakfast which was great. I think they should provide a menu and give people a choice as we wasted a lot of food the first time round.

Everything! From the view of the waterfall, to the delicious breakfast provided each morning by our lovely host, it was just perfect. The cabin is just a short walk down the train tracks into the centre of Ella - would highly recommend everyone to stay here. It’s a calming oasis in the hustle and bustle of Ella! Comfortable bed with gorgeous views which can be enjoyed every morning.

The view from this room is absolutely amazing! The room is very cosy and has such a nice balcony. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning at the time we requested. It was nice to have breakfast in our pyjamas after travelling so much. We were quite sick when we arrived and the hosts helped out so much and delivered us extra water and food.

The drive up to the accomodation was quite difficult, but I think that may be normal for the area. The hosts do provide a free shuttle down to the town and walking the train line is also a nice option!

Views were incredible and the staff were on hand to help all the time.

Location very remote so requires a tuktuk to get to. We didn’t mind but the ride is very bumpy so if you have any back issues wouldn’t recommend.

We have been there just for 2 nights, but was really good. The view from the cabin is amazing and staff are very helpfull. We've got picked up from Ella town for free and we also been dropped of after check out for free. We was heading straight to the Yala National Park safari and the staff packed us some sandwiches to go. Really amazing stay, wish we could stay longer.

This hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed in. comfortable, quiet and clean the room. We stayed 1 night in this amazing paradise with watching overlooking mountains from our private balcony. We can also see a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The owner of the hotel took us in their tuk tuk. The food is homemade and fresh and tastes amazing. Would highly recommend going to this place. We loved every minute of it!! Thank you for everything!

Our stay was absolutely perfect!! We had a beautiful, spotless room with an incredibly comfortable bed, a stunning, pristine bathroom, and a luxurious view. However, what truly stood out to us was our amazing host. He was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Thanks to him, we made it through a night when we were unsure how to get back to the hotel, and he kindly offered to pick us up. His kindness made all the difference!

This place is amazing! The cabin is new and clean. It had a great view (and privacy). Beds are good. The owner and staff are so nice, they do you everything to make you feel comfortable. They offer a free shuttle service to the village (even though it’s only a 10 minute walk). I really liked the breakfast as well!
