Security on site was very good security camera at main entrance there was no issues with uninvited people walking onto the site also peace and quite on site day and night apart from local traffic as this site is next to the A47 lorries and motor bikes passing bye, shower water was set for right temperature so a nice hot shower bedding was clean toilet was very clean as was the caravan some areas looking a bit run down some decorating and repair would be welcome but then it is end of the season. The young lady who I see when the office was open was very friendly and very helpful.
Finding this site was a nightmare with the way google map on my phone sent me I arrived when it was dark It instructs you to turn off the A47 but you just turn into what looks like a country lane there are No signs regarding Marsh farm you then have to turn right go down a single track road go under the bridge A47 above get to the end turn right and then you see marsh farm the single track road is very handy if your going somewhere via the A47 saves you going by Mill road and extra mileage. The mattress wasnt comfortable woken up with a pain in my side so had to roll over all the rooms off the little hallway are very small width of doors are smaller than a normal door so had to enter sideways but you soon get used to it not good for extremely large people especially the toilet
It was cleaned
Everything in the caravan is dated and needs to be replaced Kitchen appliances, everything. Kitchen furniture Sitting area furniture Beds Shower enclosure Toilet pan
The caravan was nice and clean had everything you needed and the beds where extremely comfortable
Value for money comfortable
Location noise from road and people racing dust and cobwebs on fan on the ceiling had to buy utensils no vacuum cleaner hand swept fridge not working spoiled food and milk luckily had mini fridge in car
The property needs some TLC.
The location was close to the beach if you have a car, it makes it a lot easier.
Not much to like to be honest.
The rooms were dirty the beds uncomfortable ants in one. The other when you flushed the toilet it leaked on the floor. I used a baby wipe to wipe the floor on arrival an was met with thick black finger marks from the kitchen part of the floor. I was charged 200 extra pounds for damages which was held the night before with no warning also an additional cost there is no clear warning of. I never met staff just had a few messages back an forth no actual human contact. For how it is advertised it is exceptionally deceiving also backs on to a residential area. And is so close to the a47 you can hear traffic all night. The lights are so bright at night its hard to sleep. The bed was so old the springs dig in your body parts. For somewhere that is meant to be to rest your head an get a reasonable sleep it was awful. Im so upset. An had to wait days for the extra cost back which then limited the actives we could afford on arrival. Would not recommend unfortunately.
The staff were pleasant and helpful.
The caravan isn’t very clean and the dining table was lopsided either the table is uneven or the floor.
Availability of place to live in was quick find and available on a day was a good opportunity.
No one at the office for the whole time. Carpets were smelly. But just for a night stay was alright
The automatic email re booking in told me to ring a phone number which on ringing informed me it was switched off. This happened for all of the week before staying. When we arrived having not been able to pay the damage deposit of £100 before arrival we had to wait for about 1+1/2 hours before someone helpful rang me and gave me the information over the phone. The office said it was open till 3 on Saturdays - we arrived at 20 to 3 to find it locked. I had left messages on every phone number listed on the office door before a gentleman in a car gave me a number to which I received a response at last.
The toilet seat in the ensuite had a broken lid part and swung on the ceramic seat if you tried to sit on it. I reported this and it was duly inspected and we were told a maintenance man would fit a new one.It was not done before we left. I made it very clear to the manager that it was broken when we arrived. So when we left I expected to receive the damage deposit in full. We left on May 30th and have not received it or any communication yet. I have waited till now to post the review. The park the caravan etc was no problem. But the problem on arrival was not my fault neither was the broken loo seat. The park was as expected so I cannot complain about the facilities.
The bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have expected with red/brown spots on the wall surrounding the sink and toilet, the master bedroom had several large stains on the carpet, we were unable to get the gas to work so none of us could have a shower or light the oven to cook an evening meal, from the minute we stepped out of the car on arrival until getting back into the car again to leave, there was a rat running backwards and forwards between all of the caravans and all over the picnic table. Quite near a busy road so we could often hear sirens, so not really a relaxing stay and all in all the caravan spoilt our rare family weekend away.
The caravan was very well-maintained and extremely clean. Staff were there to greet us on arrival and couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. The beds were comfy and we were provided with a travel cot for our toddler. The kitchen is reasonably well-equipped and modern. The site itself is small but, again, well-maintained and we felt safe knowing there was cctv directly facing our van. Overall, we were very pleased with our accommodation, particularly as the cost was very reasonable.
It is a bit of a walk into the centre, which wasn’t a problem for us as we drove in. Saying that, there are shops nearby and the Tesco supermarket is in walking distance. If I were to make a suggestion, it would be to possibly provide hand soap in the bathrooms and a tea towel in the kitchen.
Very lovely caravan! Perfect for my family of 6! Perfect location as very close to everything. Very peaceful site too!
Nothing :)
Really good value for money! Both caravans had a lovely communal space and a cosy feel!
The bedding was clean
There was no microwave in Caravan 5
Nothing
I recently rented this caravan, and it was a huge letdown. The description online was completely misleading. The bed and sofas reeked of dog,and the place was filthy. To top it off, the host was unhelpful and unsympathetic when we had an emergency. Would not recommend. 1/5 stars.
Caravan was lovely and clean. Staff were very helpful also.
Location from the seafront is a bit of a walk if you do not own a car.
Nothing
Worn out, security wasn’t safe sleeping there as some windows didn’t work. Outdated.
Was warm Ample parking Good location close to the beach town pier Nice and quiet Excellent value for money Really impressed
To be honest it was all good nothing to dislike
Lovely caravan, had a problem with no gas, phoned the number provided and it was fixed straight away. Great service
Only a small problem but there was no toilet roll. Not a big deal there was a shop nearby
OK
Lovely spacious Caravan, clean & tidy. Good base for day trips down to Yarmouth. Nice heating and fire to keep the caravan warm. Parking outside the caravan for ease. Staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. A Nice Quiet park. Laundrette located just off site if you're staying for longer. Just a Short drive into Yarmouth. Lots of different shops right near here so you can get everything you need! Warm, welcoming and comfortable.
There's nothing on site so it's literally a place to sleep, so if you like entertainment etc this isn't for you. Not that we were bothered as that's what we wanted on this 1 night stay, so for us it was ideal!
Close to town centre and beach Nearest shop was 2 min walk Peaceful environment
Was quiet and was walking distance to beach
Well presented, family friendly caravan, welcoming and cosy.
Nice spacious chalets. The kitchen has an oven and pans.
No hand wash at the toilet. No shower gel. One of the chalet didn’t have dishwasher as well. They brought us on the next day some hand wash after we complained. The sofa is really worn out and bits are coming out of it. Mattresses are not the most comfortable ones.
Location
I am very disappointed with the condition of the property. It is not clean, with spider nests visible throughout. There are screws partially protruding from the floor, which pose a clear safety hazard. The sofa is covered in dust, and both the bed and mattresses contain a significant amount of animal hair. Overall, the property is unhygienic and unsuitable for a holiday stay.
The property was a nice size for a family of 4 and places were quite easy to get to.
Nothing really we all thought it was nice.
It was in a prime location a gentle walk from town and close to all amenities. The van itself was very clean and had almost everything you need when staying away. The heating was perfect and heated the whole van so no one was cold and it was tastefully decorated. The double bed was super comfortable.
The van is in need of a pair of scissors, a sharp knife, toilet brush, sweeping brush and a dustpan and brush. The single beds were rather uncomfortable and could definitely do with a mattress topper.
Not negative, but be aware the park is in a residential area although also next to feilds & the broads.
Beautiful place
All good
Very helpful on phone great location very quiet
Some windows didn't open and it was hot
We liked that the location was 20 mins walking distance to beach and all attractions yet was lovely and quiet site so you could escape the busier areas and chill in peace at the site. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Shower was lovely too
There were no sheet for the pull out bed in the lounge area so if this was to be used you'd have to factor that in
Nice clean caravan
Nothing there but can walk to beach in 1/2 hr
Close to amenities, clean (apart from a couple of things)
Toilet seat broken, fell off every time you sat on it. Very close to noisy main road (but to be fair we should have seen that when booking!) Couple of dirty items found around the caravan (child’s dirty sock In lounge, dirty tissue or similar in wardrobe) but only there for one night so didn’t matter too much
Polite and organised for such a prompt booking. Spacious and clean.
Still awaiting the release of holding deposit
The caravan was clean upon arrival. Good that you can gain access from 2pm and 11am check out. The other door wouldn't open and informed the office and someone came out within 20min and it was sorted . The location is near great Yarmouth Not on any bus routes so you do need a car to get about. Though we didn't use it there was an enclosed decent area to play ball games
It was a bit noisy the main road is close by and it was bank holiday weekend and East Coast truckers weekend
Nothing
Cleanliness broken fittings no heating
Booked caravan as I was travelling on my own with 3 teenagers . This was preferable as we each had our own space over 1 room. Caravan was well equipped. Check in was easy.
Cant say that there was anything that i liked about this place.. sorry 😞
I stayed at Marsh Farm holiday park with my sister in law and 2 young children. Unfortunately the experience was nothing short of problem after problem. Before arrival we were informed that due to a glitch in our caravan, we were being moved to a different one. The new caravan however didn't have a working oven, so they were getting someone out to fix it. We arrived at the caravan and were instantly put off by a horrible smell of sewage coming from the hall and bathroom. We informed the owner who said someone would be out to fix it. We were asked to leave the key in the keysafe, but unfortunately the key safe lock was broken and opened on any code. This meant thst for the duration of our stay, we had to take all our valubes out with us to leave in the locked car. The oven couldn't be fixed, so the owner kindly offered us a small portable oven. The following day we informed them again that the smell of sewage was very prominent and so bad that it left us unable to use the shower. Fortunately there was a separate onsuite bathroom so we could use the toilet. Because of all the problems, the owner offered us to stay an extra 2 nights for free. This wasn't doable though due to working commitments, and also the fact it meant we'd need more money for food, days out alongside other expenses. We have asked for some money back due to the issues, but for the last few days have been told we'll be "receiving an email shortly." Which i received a few days later with the money back. Also my niece 8 years old was covered in bed bugs which she had to get treated for.
Location to beach. Was near
No on-site activities.
The manager was very nice and tried to rectify any problems.
The whole place was very run down. When we turned up the van was very old, there were holes in the flooring, dead spiders and flies on the floor, the bathroom smelled rotten and the oven didn't work. The manager did move us to a better van but again the oven was not working which was inconvenient with two children. Nothing on site to do, on a housing estate but the sea front is around a mile walk away. It definitely wasn't worth £350+ and I was gutted as I could have booked somewhere better for that price, it did put a downer on the holiday.
Everything was just perfect
Nothing
We liked as it was home from home ,cooked for ourselves. Also Staff Sophie was very pleasant and welcoming, was ready to assist.
The only discomfort I felt was a stenchy from our main bedroom of sewage like ,had to spray Air freshener to douse the smell ,as it disappeared thereafter,I don't even know where it was coming from.
Very nice close to town Very clean and tidy
The caravan was spacious
The double mattress needs replacing and a leak in the ceiling when it rains
The property was not great nor clean, we felt it was so bad we left a whole day early!
Beautiful set up on the table. Clean caravans just needed a good hoover. Beds were comfy. Good size for a family of 4 in each. Picnic bench outside each caravan. 20-30 minutes walk to the beach. Quiet area. Staff were helpful and sorted things when asked. Was offered a free nights stay due to things that went wrong but declined.
No oven for two days. They didn't know it wasn't working before we arrived but got it fixed. One set of stairs to the caravan was leaning against the caravan and not bolted on resulting in a fall whilst holding a toddler resulting in bruises on arm and leg. It was fixed by maintenance. Both couches were broken before we arrived. Carpets left children with black feet in both caravans. Awful drainage smell when it rained. Limited things in the caravan to assist with cooking.
Lovely little caravan, good location to beach and good customer service
A little dismayed to see cleaners didn't fully ensure cleanliness of caravan, found sweet wrappers and nerf gun bullets on floor between bed and the wall of caravan, also in kitchen wooden flooring is peeling slightly in the corner
Beautiful and quite
It was very clean and comfortable
Location
Caravan was damaged when arrived and very hard to close door as it was damaged cutlery draw was very dirty had to wash everything be for use
Stacie was brilliant. She was very helpful . The caravan was well equipped too.
Having had many caravan holiday, I thought caravan 8 is a bit run down and it was expensive for the price. We couldn't open the living room door as it was hard and on the verge of breaking.
The caravan was very clean throughout - spacious and nicely decorated .
Staff were very helpful with our needs 👍
Really cosy, homely and clean. Stacie was absolutely amazing she made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Very welcoming and kind.
Property was easily located and all staff were exceptional in dealing with any questions and responses we had. Such an amazing team of people
I loved it all, very nice place.
The hairdryer provided was good.
Everything but the hairdryer. I was not given the caravan I was booked as it was shut down and had been months prior, it’s not a holiday park it’s a caravan site at the back of a council estate and 15 minute walk from anything, the caravan was freezing, I would have slept more comfy next to Putin than those beds, walking through to the pubs was scarier than Donald trump being president, the caravan I was put in alternatively was mediocre at best, the bathroom door lock was broken, someone had put a hole in the wall and it had only just been patched up, the noise of the roads made it comparable to having a nap on the M1, service desk apparently opens at 8am no one there to check us out at 8.30 and no one answering their mobiles, absolutely nothing on site but caravans and the smell of weed, advertised with children’s activities…. I’m not sure what walking past caravans does actually contribute to a child activity but hey, maybe I’ve raised a spoilt child, owner refused any kind of reimbursement for the mix up in caravans and offered no apology, leaving site manager to it all, I paid for a spacious caravan, nice looking on the outside with a balcony and leather sofas, but putting me and my child and my husband in a 3 bedroomed caravan with a typical sofa and no balcony was apparently enough of an apology, you can see the extra bedroom wasn’t needed. You can smell cigarettes at the back door entrance, just honestly. It isn’t a holiday park and I raised multiple complaints over the weekend. I expect some kind of compensation or I will take this further.
Availability in the winter month. Good heating. Bed sheets were ok.
Very smelly caravan... Not clean. Unwashed utensils and cutlery. Expensive for the quality of caravan they provide.
We used this site a as a base when visiting freinds for New Years Eve so literally only needed a place to sleep, this place was perfect for this purpose. Very friendly staff who went above and beyond to help us with our arrival. Lovely clean accommodation with all the necessities you would expect and more (even had a little Christmas tree!) Would defiantly stay again.
Nothing to say I didn't like really, although had we been staying for a holiday I would not have been overly please with the location as it was not really close to holiday stuff but it was perfectly adequate as a base for us.
Property was clean and comfy.
Toilet seat was the incorrectly fitted and very loose,Just seemed a very tired caravan needs a few repairs.
Very quiet clean site , lovely caravan, great for the 3 of us,
Could do with a knife set and a broom but that's me, everything else was fantastic
Great location. Very clean
