Location
Size of room.Room 5 was dreadful
Location
Bathroom door wouldn't shut and corridor smelled not told to check in at calypso
Location and staff very friendly
4 flights of stairs with a 1 year old
Very clean WiFi was very good to with haveing kids with me defo come back
It's was close to all attractions ,clean and tidy would stay again
Hotel was standard, staff were pleasant, marks on walls and on bed, room had a funcky smell, there was a few hairs in sink, toilet didn't flush properly,
Very clean friendly staff breakfast was nice and fresh
Very clean
Tower central was very clean and comfortable. The location is spot on and staff are very friendly and always helpful to get you anything you need.
Just a minor problem with the room for sockets, we had to boil the kettle on the floor which wasn’t ideal but after speaking with reception they gave us an extra extension lead which then solved the problem.
Basic, clean and just what we needed.
Location. Right near coral island, shops, amusements and tower.
Unfortunately, the hotel photos did not live up to as the website described. The room was reasonably sized and OK for a family and above the front of the entrance near to all the local amenities. Sadly, a few things were noted upon arrival after checking in at an adjacent hotel, Pizza boxes and drinks cartons at the front door, which were there, still, for the duration of the 3 days spent there. Half a toilet roll holder, part of a towel rail, miss matched taps on sink, of which one didn't work. The room had an old drawer unit, which had a different coloured drawer and no handle on it. The single bed divan was damaged, and the ladders to the top bunk were unsafe During the first evening, it rained, and we had to move the double bed as it was being dripped on from a leak above the window. I pointed this out to reception on Tuesday morning and again upon checking out Thursday as it again leaked on the 3rd night. The nice gentleman on reception was aware the single bed was damaged prior to our stay as he said a replacement was due the day we were leaving but claimed not to have been informed of the leak. We also had to avoid showering often as the shower drain ran away slowly so would quickly flood. .some badly peeling away wallpaper and paint spashes to carpet around bay window. A long ramble I know , but most could be resolved quickly. Remove the damaged items in the bathroom and lose the drawers, repair or replace the beds and may well score slightly higher marks Some general improvements to the wallpaper peeling from the wall, fixing the roof, divan and bunk bed would prevent further disappointment
Overall was good and great location the staff were very helpful
The mattresses and chairs could do with being replaced
It was very near the Gardens. There were no bedbugs, but if that’s my standard, it’s not quite high
The mattress are pretty bad. The room is tiny, the hot water was hard to adjust.
Friendly staff. Great location and clean
Great location
The stairs, top floor as requested but no lift
Location good was about it
Stunk of mould and damp old run down lounge shut halls dirty room awful wallpaper peeling window too dirty to see outside. Bed base broken so bed higher one side than other big dip om mattress bathroom dirty shower door hardly shuts mould dust dirt everywhere toilet doesn't flush well stained mattress covers, tea coffee tiny cups no spoons old fridge in there all lyellow just awful not atall like clean photos shown, no check in desk it's 3 doors away tatty rundown hole not worth the £££ Wallpaper peeling off room walls rusty loo brush
The location is excellent, very close to Blackpool Tower. We came to Blackpool for a dance competition, so for us the location was perfect. The price was also very affordable.
There is no lift, and the stairs are very narrow, which makes carrying luggage up to the room quite difficult. The room was very small, not particularly clean, and extremely basic. The bed was also very small and uncomfortable. Overall, the standard is very low. If you are looking for somewhere very cheap just to sleep for a night, it may be fine, but if you expect even a little more comfort, I would not recommend it.
Staff was nice,
The bed wasn't a double as booked we had to tp and tail it.
The location was ideal.
Decor outdated, cleanliness very poor, artex peeling off ceiling this property was nothing like the tthe photos, very dissapointing.
The staff was lovely! Very accommodating! :)
Nothing,it was a lovely stay :£
Parfait
Central to town center.
The property is in a great location, always clean every time I’ve stayed, got the essentials that you require and even though there’s no food facilities it is in close proximity to some great places to eat
This time when we stayed at the property we booked Monday to Friday but left on Wednesday as other guests were had us up all night due to them fighting with each other within their rooms causing lots of noise Monday and Tuesday. No fault of the owners of the hotel but we couldn’t stay any longer as the kids and ourselves couldn’t get a sleep
Nothing at all
I did not stay, i was shown 2 rooms as the first one we went in had dry noodles on a chair, also on the floor next to the bed with a lovely big slug trail. Carpets in both rooms were dirty with spots of white paint on, all furniture was shabby and looked dirty even though i was assured both rooms had been cleaned. Beds not good matress dirty. Second room had the samefaults as the first, also marked shower room floor, i asked the guy what it was he told me ckeaning detergant had done it, i dont agree it was sticky under your feet, toulet sink and showers in both rooms are dated and dirty looking, toilets not very clean. The building had the same carpet on the stairs which did look slightly cleaner than in the 2 rooms i was shown. There was no lounge area which was not advertised, no manager in the building so you had to go 2 doors away to the calypso hotel if you needed anything also not stated in advert. Hotel has artex all way through on walls in the rooms and hall landing and stairs, very old design which makes me wonder has it been tested for asbestos??? And to top it all the guy who was checking us in when i told him it was not to standard he told me to request my money back from booking.com, and they have not responded to booking .com and i am expected to accept it. THAT IS NOT HAPPENING. THIS PLACE IS DIRTY. RUN DOWN AND NEEDS A REFURB AND PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO CLEAN. DO NOT STAY THERE.
Great location
Bit tired inside the property and the lounge area was shut the time we were there but overall would stay again
Love the owner beeen staying for years
Everything
Nice close to shop and all the local shops
Absolutely nothing it was filthy with the dirt
Everything it was horrendous filthy with the dirt tread worn carpets dirty bathrooms

Nothing pictures online are not this property
Everything
Good area for being in centre of things
Bit of trouble next door due to thieves
Location and Private bathroom
Bed was a bit uncomfortable, tea, coffee facilities where too far away from the only socket
Evry thing. Rooms was clean, beds was comfortable.
They were very friendly, even carried my bags up the stairs, very clean, nice and quiet, would definitely stay there again

The room was not very clean the bed was dirty and a very strong smell mold
Had a great sleep was clean hotel our room wasn't ready so we got given a diffrent room. We will be back
All was good
Tbh we didn't stay here this year was last year, I'd booked the wrong year 😂 But the guy was very accommodating and sorted us a room fir the night. Ideal location where we wanted to be
Location, staff
Stairs
Location
So hard to get in touch with reception
Close to all amenities like the tower and coral island. This then turned out to be a downside.
It wasn’t the cleanest, bathroom was grubby. Lounge was closed and didn’t know about this before arriving but obvious it’s been closed a while as used for storage. No hair dryer or ironing facilities in the room. Heard Blackpool’s nightlife coming and going at all hours. Came home a night early just to get a sleep!
Leaving.
The room was not like the pictures stated. Was extremely run down, not the cleanest at all. Yes was suitable for the night but really not ideal. Beds were fresh and clean which is all you can hope for. There was work going on at the side of our room which left us with a view of scaffolding and having to have the windows closed due to the drilling which then started again at 8:30am on a Saturday morning. Not ideal, but again probably can’t be helped. Hardly any water from the taps either, very small dripping, luckily had two bottles of complimentary water so could use this. I just think for £87 for one night was a lot to pay for the absolute minimum, less than basic in my opinion.
Right by amussements, tower and bonny street market and for kids mcds
Staff were friendly and made you feel at home. Excellent value for money and drinks reasonably priced
We stayed for 4 nights and didnt get a change of towels
It had a weird smell to it, it was way to hot no aircon no fans no nothing just pure heat.
it was way to hot double rooms crammed.
close to the beach staff were friendly
no lift to take prams up and there was no hot water
Location

Front of house staff lovely x
Clean and close location
Stairs but to be fair I did ask for the same room I always stay in right at the top.
Front of house staff was amazing would definitely come back just to see him
It was very basic.
It was very basic, the shower wasn't very clean and the door lock wasn't very secure.
Location
Always clean and quiet staff are great
Posizione semi-vicina al centro
Molto sporca, specialmente il bagno…indecente
Very central location
Room condition was not as advertised - white walls had brown/red stains, toilet wall had 2 holes which were not fixed, curtains were not hooked on properly due to the lack of hooks. The bed was also flushed right against the radiator; this is clearly a fire hazard. The room advertised had a full-length mirror, which was not present in our room. Check-in after 8pm is at the Calypso Hotel; this was not communicated to us prior to check-in. Thankfully Robert was kind enough to answer the door and direct us to the Calypso yo collect our keys.
for the price we payed, cheap and chearful, clean sheets and quilt, hot water, what more do you want , 5 of us in a room, yes a bit squashed but its only somewhere to put your head down tea n coffee also would we stay here again, yes for this price we would
we only used it as a base to get changed and sleep you don't pay 5 star prices so don't expect 5 star facilities
Wasnt very clean. Stains on the bedding and pillow cases, headboard etc. Run down. Ceiling looked like it was going to cave in. Gaps in floor where it meets the wall. Carpet unhoovered. The lounge wasnt in use. No host stayed at the property at any duration of the stay. Was told they were a few doors up at a different hotel.
The staff upon arrival were lovely! So friendly and welcoming, the room was a decent size and for the price we paid for our stay there was nothing really I could have asked for improvement on. The shower worked nicely, everything was clean, there was a little fridge, beds were comfy. I asked for a late check out the morning before due to working hours and they were more than happy to help me out.
The toilet seat wasn’t fixed on properly so we did have a few scary moments of almost falling off! The only other issues were out of the control of the hotel - there was work men right outside our window and we were working nights so as soon as we got in they started working. But that is in NO way the hotels fault!
Not a hotel
Bed,no sugar,burnt out kettle,no wardrobe, shower dirty
Perfect for two nights
Comfortable, quiet with easy access to the winter gardens.
Nothing to dislike unless you are not a fan of early morning herring gulls!
Nice Warm Clean Room . Comfortable Bed . Nice Hot Shower . It Was Very Quiet All My Stay ...
Everything was good 😊.
no heating no hot water no bar no lounge
We only needed this for a one night rave we were going too, the property was so much better than we expected, such a reasonable price and a lovely owner, parking nearby that we were able to park a sprinter van in, i would highly recommend if you’re coming to stay in blackpool whether it be one night or a weekend. tea and coffee station as well with biscuits and very clean
the only thing was it was lacking a mirror in the room so i could dry my hair in a mirror but really that’s a minor thing, i made do perfectly fine :)
Good location, reasonable price
Could do with a refresh as it’s looking a bit tired and dated. Bar never open. Heating on full blast so very hot in the room. 3 flies in the room constantly from the moment we arrived, very annoying.
Ideal for our one night stay and very convenient location
Very basic but to be expected as it was only £45 for a triple room so no complaints really
The location was fantastic the hotel room was spacious and homely and warm and the host was friendly helpful and amazing we will be back again xx
There's nothing that we didn't like about our stay here xx
Clean room
Bed need new mattress
Good location
Bed is a bit hard
Close to amenities and staff where friendly
The room we got was leaking few times from upstairs cleaners didn't change toilet rolls bedding or towels had to ask to get toilet roll and towels did change us rooms which was better so made the few days left even better than it was
The location was brilliant
Although the room was quite clean the actual hotel was unkempt. There was no member of staff on site and there was rubbish in the entrance, the hallway and filled black bin bags just left on one of the landings. The curtain in the bedroom was hanging on by x 2 curtain hooks.
