The Regency Hotel

Location was great for town centre. Staff and other guests friendly I was travelling alone with my 4 year old Daughter and I felt safe and welcome in the property.

Room was too hot, but I don't think I can blame the hotel as we were in the middle of the heatwave.

Staff were lovely- the manager was so chatty and was so nice. Location was good too in terms of near the centre

The street was a bit scruffy- we went with 3 kids and walked out to loads of adult nappies left outside on the street (this isn’t the fault of the hotel). Would suggest for the hotel to improve- a lamp in the room, the shower doors fell off when we tried to use it, tea/ coffee facilities but no milk saucheys so cou

There was no hot water or soap. I was only staying for one night so I can't complain too much.

Bad experience there. On the 3rd night there was commotion outside the room at around 12.45am someone was trying to get into one of the rooms in the same part of the hotel. (I don't know if the man got into the room) but there was a lot of telling the man to leave. After he dropped a bunch of stuff on the floor. He started trying to get into my room. I shouted that someone was in the room. After a while it went quiet and then 10 minutes later he had come back and was trying to get into my room again. Again I shouted someone was in the room. Then a couple of minutes later another man's voice told him he needed to leave. At this point I didn't feel safe and had decided to leave. I didn't sleep in case he came back again. About 4am I went downstairs and there was a random pizza box near the front door

It was perfect 10 mins walk from train station, perfect location by coral island, lovely and clean, very friendly welcoming staff. I had top floor room 3 single beds it was perfect for us. I want to stay here again

So much ,double bed that like it dipped on one side,very small area to make a drink,small bathroom no space to even hang a hand towel,toilet seat wasnt secure so the lid would fall on your back ,cups dirty

There wasn't a towel or toilet roll in my room on arrival but the staff quickly corrected this.

Nice clean little room, comfy bed, hot shower, kettle, telly, all I need. Right in the middle of town, minutes walk from beach, shops, pubs, tower, piers. But it was nice and quiet at night. All this at a great price. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in Blackpool.

Beds were so uncomfortable peices of wood on the base under the mattress. Bunk beds made a racket. And no ceiling light only light in bathroom for whole room.

The smell of cannabis in the rooms We were given the wrong room on check in and disturbed someone No toilet roll or towels in one room. The complimentary sealed biscuits are enough and nice but the state of the complimentary chocolate was a little off putting Toilet seat needs fixing in room 1 it’s sliding off.

Bedrooms hadn't much room to move around in and theres only 1 socket which wasn't ideal Trying to manage a large suitcase up 3 flights of stairs was a nightmare Bar wasn't even open in the evening Owner was no where to he seen , only at check in The ceiling in the rooms could do with being repaired , there was quite a few holes

There was no internet at all. Contacted about this and wasn’t much help in trying to resolve. The bar was closed more than it was open with very little notice. No staff around if had any issues. Offered up a sister hotel bar which was not family friendly or the vibe we hoped for. Too hot No hot water from the bathroom sink

Nowhere to sit in the room other than the bed.A small.chair or stool would have been useful.Only a small gripe as the overall stay was good value and I'd definitely stay again.

The Hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were Lovely and readily provided us with extra pillows and tea bags when we asked for them The Cleaning Lady was exemplary and did a Great job

Nice friendly staff couldn't help us enough. I realized after making the booking that the hotel doesn't have a lift. I rang and explained that my mum is Very elderly and was immediately offered a room on the first floor. Much appreciated as I booked and rang them at Very short notice. Anything I asked for was sorted within the matter of minutes. Polite friendly staff. I paid for a budget room and was pleasantly surprised I got what I paid for and the room was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable.

Disabled ask for down stairs room ended up 3 flights of stairs Bed uncomfortable Shower to small and burnt myself on pips no do on shower no room to mover when going tolit Had to go to parent hotel to get key and drop them back Bar and downstairs all closed up never open Not acceptable as know where to get a drink

No shower gel in bathroom

The property was good in terms of very centrally located in Blackpool near a lot of the attractions. Beds were very comfortable and a good nights sleep was had from both of us.

Upon booking through websight, I left a message requesting a lower floor rooom. Upon arrival this message clearly hadn’t been opened or read, as we were given a top floor room. I did query this, and they apologised and gave us a room a floor below top floor. Attentive to detail, if the staff let us know this was not possible to have a LOW floor toom, we wud av stayed elsewhere. This is not a criticism of the staff, clearly just a mobility problem condition with my legs.

Location was good, clean room, towels provided, friendly staff.

Room was tiny, the tv wasn't connected to the aerial, the shower tray had a crack in it, the bed was smaller than a double size for 2 people, the Wi-Fi had a poor signal and disconnected often.

Lisa and Lee were so friendly and helpful. Lovely, lovely people. The room was great and comfortable and the hotel is very near to the town centre. My friend and I are planning to return to the hotel asap and would consider it before any other accommodation.
