Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Very responsive host, easy check-in, clean, plenty of chargers, all the things you need! Also very reasonably priced.
It was generally quiet, although (as there is a house above you), the footsteps can be quite loud. The fridge does also make some interesting noises. So if you are a light sleeper, ear plugs are helpful.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The room was very clean, the bathroom was a decent size and modern and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped but we did not really use it during our stay.
No window covering over the small window over the bed. Also, the bathroom sink could use a sink stopper (so people with contact lenses don't lose them down the drain.

Bed is comfy, kitchenette has a big fridge and is well stocked - all the necessities. Host provided coffee pods and water, which is very appreciated. This is my go to place when I visit Guelph.

Little bit of noise upstairs through the night.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026It was a clean, convenient place for us to rest our heads. The decor was cute. Towels were provided. The bed was comfortable. Parking was provided. The coded entry allowed us to arrive late at night without disturbing anyone. Really, the property was everything it promised to be!
It felt a little like a student dorm room in a basement. You could hear some footsteps and voices from the upstairs during the morning. Unfortunately, the child-proof outlets prevented our devices from charging overnight. (They must not have been plugged in fully.)

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Liked the cleanliness of the unit and hassle free booking. The host was also very attentive and easy to contact. Great communication!
The only suggestion I have is to have the lights in the living room and kitchen on a dimmer switch. (When on they were too bright but when off it was too dark.)

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026We absolutely loved our stay in this home in Guelph. The house was spotless, very cozy, and perfectly located, making everything easy and comfortable during our visit. You can really feel the care and attention to detail in every space. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming — they even surprised us with a thoughtful New Year’s gift, which made our stay feel extra special and personal. Small gestures like that truly make a big difference. We felt at home from the very first moment and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for such a wonderful experience — we would gladly stay here again!

Reviewed Oct 14, 2025Everything was good. The apartment was well-represented by the pictures provided and there were no unexpected surprises. The location was fine for us, in a quiet residential neighbourhood. We had a car and were travelling a bit of a distance outside of the city for a festival, so we were just looking for a place relatively close by.
There wasn't really anything that we didn't like. The shower was a bit leaky at first (the top part was spraying all over the ceiling) but this was just because the cord wasn't well connected. I tightened it and that fixed it. Otherwise, there weren't any major issue. As I mentioned above, the location might not be ideal for everyone, but it was fine for us.

NOT THE HOST'S FAULT: it's a hot season so it was a little stuffy in the afternoon but cooled off during the night. Again, not the host's fault, just mentioning so this portion isn't left blank.
