A place that is tucked away from the main road. Excellent and convenient location. 20minute walk to Dewata beach. The room was very clean and comfortable, perfect for a short or long term stay. The owners are so friendly and willing to help with anything. Recommend this place to anyone.

It's run by a lovely family. You can order fruit juices, ice cream, food items, drinks, breakfast. I asked for a Sri Lankan breakfast with hoppers, see picture. I had the small room with a little balcony, great view, big windows, a comfortable bed, clean. Not far from Galle and walking distance to jungle Beach. There is a good restaurant a short walk away.

Є кондиціонер, ліжко зручне, є гаряча і холодна вода. Також приємним бонусом для мене була можливість побачити білок, які там просто ручні. Дякую за гостинність!

Good location near surfing beach Dewata

Leuke familie, heerlijk ontbijt en perfecte locatie op 1 KM afstand van Jungle Beach (heerlijk zwemmen, ook in augustus) en op 10 minuutjes met de TukTuk van Turtle Beach (waar je niet lekker kan liggen, maar wel heel veel grote schildpadden vanaf het strand kan zien) en een kwartiertje van Galle. Bonavista strand is niet zoveel, hier kan je beter niet naar toe gaan.

Het zijn prima, maar simpele kamers. Hou er verder rekening mee dat 's-morgens rond 06.30 / 07.00 uur veel bussen toeterend van de berg afkomen (bij elke bocht wordt flink getoeterd). Dit duurt een minuutje of 10, maar je bent dan klaarwakker. De naastgelegen hotels (Aura en Hillside) hebben dit uiteraard ook).

De bed & breakfast is eenvoudig, maar heeft alles wat het moet hebben. We hadden met ons gezin 2 kamers, daartussen zit een balkon en een tafel met stoelen. Er is ook een keuken in deze gemeenschappelijke ruimte. In tegenstelling tot de kamers, was deze niet fris, daarom hebben we hier geen gebruik van gemaakt. Vanaf de kamer en het balkon kijk je uit op Coco Beach en de zee. De locatie ligt net buiten de drukke straat, waardoor je geen last hebt van het verkeer. De gastvrouw is erg vriendelijk! We gaven haar aan dat we surflessen wilde nemen en binnen een half uur stond haar neef er die surfleraar is. Hele fijne les van hem gehad, echt waar voor ons geld! Het ontbijt wordt in de tuin geserveerd en is heerlijk. Eén dag rijst en één dag kregen we noedels. Met vers fruit, een kopje thee. De gastheer en zijn broer hebben ons met hun tuktuks naar verschillende plekken gebracht die we wilden bezoeken. Ook regelde hij onze taxi terug naar het vliegveld. Al met al een fijne locatie met goede bedden (dik matras voor Sri Lanka), heel vriendelijke eigenaren en goede service. Dank voor jullie goede zorgen!

Het was fijn geweest als we in de keuken water konden koken en als deze schoon was. Er was een koelkast, maar die hebben we niet gebruikt, want die was echt heel vies. Bij de tafel stonden 3 stoelen, waardoor wij er niet met z'n vijven konden zitten helaas. Een paar kleine krukjes erbij zou handig zijn.

Przede wszystkim bardzo miła obsługa, wpuścili nas do pokoju o wiele szybciej niż zakładała rezerwacja. W pokoju było czystko i pachniało świeżością, jedzenie przez nich podane było smaczne.

The accommodation was close to Dewata beach, the room had everything we needed and there is a share space with a small kitchen. The family was very friendly. Nice place to stay.

i loved this place, i did extand my stay here three times. the family is so loverly, they helped me with every problem, really good people, i feld very safe. the rooms are big, bright, clean and have a nice view. the location was perfect for me, just a few minutes ride/or walk away from dewata surfing, from galle fort, from dallawella, unawatuna and jungle beach. thank you for having me 🙏🏻

Lovely view from the balcony, palm trees and glimpse of ocean-perfect way to start the day with breakfast 🙂 It is located a little bit away from the main road so the noise from the traffic is not too bad. You have to walk down the main road to get to the beach area (maybe 15-20 minutes alltogether) but there are also many tuk-tuks you can catch from the street. The host was really nice and friendly, always had a smile on her face. Breakfast is served on the balcony at the time you ask for. Overall, great experience! 🙂 Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality!

very close to galle main road..the place is maintained by a family..very friendly..and provided very delicious and good food more than we expected. very clean room and close to beach..

Bit far from the beach.

We are 5 indian friends travelling Srilanka had chance to stay in this property. Amazing Host family who provided welcome drink, quality lunch and breakfast. They won’t say no to any of your request, they are that kind of people. They helped us in arranging vehicle to Colombo drop

No water heater

Good location close to Unawatuna and Bonavista beaches and also close to the Galle fort. Staff was very kind, breakfast was filling and tasty. 🤤 Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. Everything was top notch. Very good value for money!

The hostess was able to speak fair English. She helped us to get our laundry done for LKR 900 per kg. We requested for breakfast the next morning and her chicken curry was exceptional which goes well with toast bread and hoppers. The staircase is quite steep so please be mindful and the inn is little on hill reasonable busy with cars/tuk tuk and the inn is without a parking but we managed well. The room was comfortable with the Aircond. Good value for money and if you are not fussy with the noise…We traveled as three guys so it’s not much of issue for us. Overall cleanliness can be improved otherwise.

There is a nice and clean location. The Jungle Beach it is near, maybe 15-20 minutes walking. It is near the main road, near the restaurants, Lighthouse wine shop, bus station. There is a ATM near the main street. The owner is very kindly and helpfull. They cooking very good local food.

Incredibly nice people. I was greeted with a welcome drink. They were so helpful! Very comfortable bed and quiet location.

Everything was just lovely! We spent our first nights in Sri Lanka here and there could be no better way to start a vacation! The family is so sweet, after we arrived they brought us coffee and the children brought us cake. The next morning we got a massive rice and egg breakfast even though breakfast was not included in our stay. As it was the Sri Lankan new year celebration, we got a free beer and an amazing traditional breakfast buffet for free as well, and ate together with the family. Not to mention the super comfortable beds and pillows. Walking distance to the stunning jungle beach and cafes and restaurants. If you’re looking for a warm, homely place to stay with great value for money, this is the place!

Loved our stay here. A beautiful and convenient location to visit both Galle and Unawatuna. Hosted by a very sweet couple who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Our room was clean and even had a mosquito vaporizer. Excellent value for money.

I spent only one night here, the room was really nice and clean, the bed really comfy, breakfast was also nice. The family was really helpful and kind, they can help you with what you need. Thank you for your kindness, this is a safe place to stay as a female traveler 😊

These people are the most lovely and heartwarming hosts I have ever met. The whole family is so nice and polite. The room is pretty cute with a very comfortable bed and it‘s not far from the beach. They welcomed me with fresh juice and I could leave my luggage there the whole day after checkout. I would highly recommend to go there!:)

Great location for visiting Unawatuna, jungle beach and the Japanese temple Hosts were absolutely lovey and so helpful

It was so hot in the room I barely slept. Even with the fan on all night. Please swap the sheets out for some basic cotton ones, it’s too hot to put the duvet over the top.
