Luxe on Burgundy

It was clean, tidy and comfortable, perfect for our girls weekend! Great, fast communication from the team with any questions we had. Good facilities too such as drying rack and coffee machine. The spa was delightful on a frosty evening after dinner!

Lovely warm, extremely clean, place to stay. All very new and beautifully appointed. It had everything you needed for a relaxed long weekend and was close to town so you could walk into Martinborough. Thank you very much to the hosts

Comfortable bed. Big TV. Neat and tidy.

No dryer. Fridge doesn’t seem cold enough and freezer iced up.

Access was more difficult as the keypad was hidden behind an overgrown hedge. In the pouring rain this was a little frustrating to locate

Insulation in internal walls would be an idea could hear everything from the lounge and bedrooms

We were a party of four and this place was spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. The spa and barbecue were nice touches.

This is a completely gorgeous place to stay. Easy to keep clean. Very quiet neighborhood. New house smell. Well appointed with everything you might need. Warm, beautifully furnished. Tastefully decorated. Comfy beds. The Spa was fabulous. Loads of jets and set at 40 degrees :) Everything worked & is spotlessly clean. There are some herbs in the garden. A nice selection of tea, coffee, coffee pods and some milk. Sugar, oil, salt and pepper were also provided. Lots of hot water, good water pressure, plenty of towels, extra pillows and bedding. The separate toilet is handy. There's a bath. Lots of sunny decks and comfy outdoor furniture. Sun poured in all day because it faces west. It was a treat just lying on the bed in the afternoon soaking up the sun and snoozing. The house is long - the kitchen & lounge are at one end & the 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom are along the hallway, with the master bedroom (with ensuite and walk in wardrobe!) right at the end. So there's privacy, space, peace and separation - even if you had a few people there. 3 of the bedrooms open onto the decks. This would be a great spot for 2 or 3 couples. And the "lesser" rooms are still really nice and a good size. It's fully fenced - if you had small children. It's not far from the town centre but off the beaten track - so it was very quiet. I didn't see the communal pool or tennis courts - but this seems to be on a sort of estate / community grounds - called Pinot Grove. The host was well organized. I got emails at just the right times & quick responses. Make sure you check out Poppies vineyard while you're in Martinborough for a next level treat too!

It was surprising there aren't any electric blankets on the beds and it was -1 degrees at night! (The house is warm though & the heat pump does it's job - but it's noisy to leave it on all night) There's no plunger coffee pot. It's quite a small fridge if you had a large group staying. (Fine for the 2 of us) And limited pots, small frying pan - if you had a big group to cook for. (There's a nice big Weber BBQ outside tho) It's quite close to the neighbors & the windows are huge and not all of them have blinds - so you might feel a bit like you're in a fish bowl at times. There's lots of subscribed services on the TV but the sound is terrible - very tinny. Maybe bring your own Bluetooth speaker? But these are minor things - this is an absolutely beautiful place to stay, and I feel so lucky to have had a relaxing, peaceful, easy weekend away. And the spa!!! Did I mention the spa??!! Just go!

Found used/dirty baking tray and dish in oven... not a good start Some of the bedrooms had sliding doors as opposed to windows so we couldn't leave them open at night. Was a bit of a walk to town for older people.

Great place for family gatherings. We had 7 of us adults in absolute comfort, with great outdoor space, large kitchen & lounge, 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. About 10 mins walk to Martinborough Square, 15 mins to the Brewery and about 30 mins to Colombo.

Would be a great upgrade to have aircon for the bedroom end of the house but it's otherwise very difficult to fault.

The bbq and spa pool was excellent.

Pillows were too soft and flat. Options for different types of pillows would be better.
