We LOVED our room, it had everything and more. It was so spacious, we stayed as a family and having our own outside space made all the difference for the children to go in and out.

Having a little one it was quite hard for us getting in and out of the building having to get everything out and take our stroller down. There was also some sort of crisps inside the travel cot when we got it out from under the bed.

We really liked the luxurious facilities of the property. It was perfect in all respects. There were three beds, kitchen appliances, balcony and a covered space to sit and watch television. There was enough private space for each one of us. It was a clean space and the location was super close to the centre.

There should be more toilet paper for three people.

The blinds/ shutters weren’t full black out so let in a lot of light early in the morning

The property was beautiful, a home away from home with all amenities you need so convenient for my partner, myself and our new born. Down side is there are stairs leading up to the property so need two people to carry the pram but was worth it for a gorgeous family suite, outdoor area, all modern renovations and nice quiet area away from the main town but all walking distance.

Absolutely Fantastic property in a great quiet location that’s only a short walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars. The apartment is stunning with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Lovely decor, amazing large bath, large smart tv and fire, comfy bed with well equipped kitchen area. The added bonus is the garden terrace outside the French doors at the rear. The hosts made it really easy to check in and sent some great recommendations for food and drink. You will not be disappointed with this property, we stayed for 2 nights and we wished we had booked for another additional night. An added bonus is the free parking around the corner from the property. It was the perfect place to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. We would highly recommend this property and we will be booking again for our next visit to Bowness.

We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, with a lovely bath, a very comfortable bed, and a nice little outdoor space to relax in. The staff were very responsive and helpful. Before we arrived, we asked if there was a fan in the room. Unfortunately, when we arrived there wasn't one, as it appeared the previous guests had taken it, so the first night's sleep was a little uncomfortable because of the warm weather. However, the staff brought a replacement fan first thing the next morning, which we really appreciated. They also provided really useful information about parking, local restaurants, and things to do in the area, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The apartment was very close to the lake with plenty of restaurants/cafes and bars nearby too. Overall, a great stay and we'd happily return.

This place is absolutely fantastic!! The bed was so comfortable, the bath is amazing, gorgeous fluffy towels, the apartment was spotlessly clean, great kitchen facilities, easy check in process, high spec inside and beautifully decorated and finally location for walking into the town is perfect. I would not hesitate to book this again. Would love to come back and stay which I think tells you everything you need to know about this little gem of a place!

Modern decor, good facilities and a nice strong shower with exceptionally hot water

The room felt it was missing something, it didn’t ‘feel’ relaxing. The end of the bed is so high it spoils the tv and stunning fire feature. The towels were frayed, and there was some stains on the mattress/mattress protector. And frays and stains on the small carpeted area around the bed. The pillows were flat like they could do with an upgrade. Although it’s a beautiful suite it just felt like it could be more.

Absolutely unreal apartment! Will 100% be back again! Amazing location. The apartment itself had everything we needed and of course the bath was brilliant. Both of us chilled in the bath watching the huge tele at the bottom of the bed. Such lovely romantic place to stay. Check in was a breeze and advised where to park, was given exact location. 100% would recommend and can’t wait to be back!

- Fantastic location. - Super clean. - Easy to find and quick and smooth check in experience. - Checkout is not until 11:00am (which is a lot better than most please these days!) - Free standing bath added that bit of luxury.

-No air conditioning (this was only a slight problem as we stayed during the hottest week in May on record! There was a fan which kept us cool) -No microwave- would be a useful addition to the kitchen to cook up a quick meal.

Soft Pillows but that’s about it

Very clean and comfortable. Great for that romantic getaway with the bath perfectly positioned at the foot of the bed along with the big screen tv ,fire and large double shower.

With a kitchenette the one thing that was missing was a microwave. We were up on the top floor the stairs might be a struggle for some with your bags etc. Also no parking outside of property again might be a struggle for some as the area is very hilly and the walk back to where the car was parked was a short but uphill walk. We loaded/unloaded outside of property no problem. Would it put me off staying again? Absolutely not well worth it for the views.

I'm sure you hear this every time Parking. Sadly it was exceptionally busy over bank holiday which is fantastic for everyone but trying to park was pretty crazy. Finally got a spot right up at the top of the hill. I think you need to state parking isn't guaranteed outside and it was pot luck getting parked up the hill

Additional third adult bed isn’t as long … didn’t expect it to be so small. Wasn’t cleanly made :(

The property is stunning in a quiet location, easy accessible and plenty information sent from hosts. The room has everything you’d ever need, can we take time to appreciate the copper bath! We stayed in the Biskey Howe suite and it even has a little garden outside with french doors. The room was lovely and clean, the most comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend, and if we’re ever in the Lakes will 100% return! Thanks for hosting

Craig Walk Suite is finished to a very high standard and the large free standing copper bath is a lovely luxury touch. The large TV is also an added bonus. The general ambience is very peaceful.

We loved everything but some more storage/hanging space would be good. This is was very limited in the room.

We stayed in the Biskey Howe room. The bed is king size, with a single and comfortable fold out bed next to it. The building is clean and so are the rooms. I usually hate taking my shoes off in a hotel room but I didn’t mind here as you can tell it’s been mopped and very clean! Very spacious room and very cosy feeling! Also has a beautiful patio with outdoor decking /seating. Toiletries smell lovely and really excellent communication with the owners. When we needed to contact them they were very prompt and dealt with anything we needed / asked. They also emailed over some great suggestions and I’m glad they did as dinner reservations would have been a nightmare if it wasn’t for the heads up / restaurant suggestions as everything gets booked up very fast! Also they are perfectly located. A 10 minute walk away if not less from all the restaurants/cafes and lake side attractions. They are also situated close to the Beatrix potter attraction and cafe. We stayed with our four year old and did the following: Walking distance: 1. Beatrice potter attraction /museum 2. Beatrice potter cafe 3. Bowness boat cruise which lead us to a steam train ride, aquarium visit and boat ride back 4. We did a bath bomb making class near by at Hubble bubble organics Short drive: 20 minutes 1. We walked around Tarn how’s, my son took his bike 2.chocolate factory in Hawkshead near Tarn How’s and we made chocolate eggs, slabs and marshmallows it was so much fun!

Parking is up hill but more than manageable if you don’t have any joint problems /health problems. And you need to be ok with stairs accessing the apartment. There are stairs leading to the building and if you’re in a room higher up you may need to use the stairs then too. When packing my husband just parked the car outside and loaded the car it really wasn’t an inconvenience and parking was very easy to find up the hill and was only a 3 min walk from the property. My son is 4 and didn’t mind either but perhaps people with mobility issues may not find this suitable.

Amazing suite! The location is perfect, the suite is like home from home. A place to just relax! The best big bath and huge bed!

The property was well maintained and designed. Underfloor heating, central heating, an electric fire, a working towel rail. The room was well documented, spacious, easy to access, it was perfect to base yourself out of.

Everything was exactly as described. Cosy and in a central location. Before booking, I had read some of the reviews and feedback that other guests had left, having stayed in the accommodation, it’s refreshing to see that some of this feedback has actually been actioned. Lots of information regarding the booking was communicated via email and text and any questions answered promptly.

Not an issue for us, but the on street parking is up a steep hill so something to keep in mind if you have any trouble walking. However, there was lots of space and very stress free compared to other accommodation I’ve stayed in.

Really not a lot to not like!

The location is very central and a few mins walk from The centre of Bowness. The furnishings were very good (large tv, bath in the room, kitchen facilities).

It wasn’t clear before booking that it was one floor in a big house (maybe 4-5 flats). So there was no outside space and no parking. Also a bit noisy as you could hear the neighbours. It wasn’t a big issue but we thought we were ground floor.

The Suite was stunning and just perfect, excellent location too..... central but quiet.

Interior was stunning. Absolutely loved our time here the bath was amazing watch the tv with the fire on.

The hotel was in a nice quiet location, not too far away from the shops and pubs. The room itself that we stayed in was amazing! The decor was lovely and the space was so warm and welcoming - 10/10 for the room. Check in instructions were thorough as was the list of recommendations provided upon booking our stay. Overall a lovely stay in Bowness!

Only issue we had with the property was that upon entering, there was a strong smell of weed coming from one of the bottom floor rooms. Luckily we were on the top floor so this was not a bother at all, but was not what we were expecting. This in no way would stop us from booking again!

Quiet street, spacious room, comfortable bed, spotless everywhere. Lovely little patio was a welcomed surprise and the copper bath was perfect.

The parking, but it can’t be helped.

The copper bath in front of the bed was the cherry on top which made me book this room. The whole apartment was luxury and very cosy. The walking distance from our room to the nearest shops/pubs&restaurants was only 2/3 minutes. The walk to Bowness lake was only a 5/10 minute walk. All though we didn’t see any staff apart from a lovely maid they were very accommodating via message and phone and helped us with anything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here, me and my partner booked this for our anniversary and we would most certainly return. You also have your own cosy private outside area with a tv.
