The staff was awesome and did everything for us to be comfortable!! I loved the breakfast. For the price its unbeatable, I would come again.

All good . Friendly staff . Only issue is the toilet in our room had a bad smell which comes into the room when kept closed. Highly recommend exhaust fans .

It was very close to the happening area & All round fairly good facilities. Value for the money we paid

Initially the room I received was not pleasant (bad smell and no windows to flow air to room) and not the one booked online. Some basic items were not available in the 2nd room provided after we complained to the owner. Hence we had to go and ask them again. Parking slots were not available at convenience. This gave us a bad start for our vacation trip. Not satisfied with the hospitality of the staff. Overall experience is not good.

Had a lovely stay at City Heaven Hotel Ella! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended for a pleasant stay in Ella!

Отель в процессе постройки. Лестница с первого на второй этаж как малый пик Адама. Воды горячей в номере нет. Стул на балконе с гвоздем. Порвала брюки. Кран в туалете не прикручен, напора воды нет. Грязно

I just liked the location of this property other than that I did not like anything.

The main door and washroom lock was not working. The manager is rude and not co operative. There were no cups glasses available in the room. The electricity was running out all the time. No hair dryer or iron as mentioned in the facilities. The building is half under construction. There was less staff to manage breakfast of all the people.

Очень приятное место, остались только хорошие впечатления. Доброжелательные и отзывчивые хозяева, всегда готовы помочь. Атмосфера спокойная и уютная, чувствуешь себя комфортно с первых дней. Всё необходимое для проживания есть, чисто и удобно. Отличный вариант, чтобы насладиться Шри-Ланкой и отдохнуть. С удовольствием остановились бы здесь снова.

The staff are very rude They don't have humanity The bathroom sets are not fixed Somehow they charge money as I got information from the other guests. It proves true because we are charged 8000 LKR for bathroom loose connection. The WiFi service is not available as it is very very slow connectivity. Door locking problem

Breakfast is very limited.. We are given one omlette When we want one more omlette they charged money. This hotel doesn't deserve a single star... Your tour will be of bad memories

El trato del chico joven de recepción y la chica durante el desayuno, los dos nos explicaron las cosas adecuadamente, uno con el chek-in y ella con todo lo referente al desayuno, que otros dieron por supuesto

No coincidia la habitación k reservamos con la que nos dieron, nos alojaron en una quinta planta interior, sin productos de aseo, y con un olor extraño en las sábanas. La ubicación es muy céntrica pero las ventanas daban a los pub de la calle principal y se oían las canciones de los karaokes, a las 3am seguían oyéndose, con lo que nuestro descanso fue nulo. Cuando accedimos a la recepción que estaba enfrente, el señor nos pidió 4000 lkr mas de lo que se ofertaba en Booking, se lo comentamos y no sé si le gustó pero puso muy mala cara y de malos modos nos dijo k lo reservasemos por la aplicación. Conclusion no lo recomendamos.

No water on the second day, they promised me to set a fan of our room, but they didn’t. Couldn't connect Wifi.

The biggest advantage of this accommodation is its location. The hotel is close to the center and the main bus stop, so everything important is within easy reach, and restaurants or shops are within walking distance. By tuk-tuk you can easily get anywhere in the area. The hotel itself is divided into two buildings, with the reception across the street and the rooms in the other building, which was not a problem for us. From the room there was a mountain view, slightly obstructed by a construction site. After a short wait, hot water ran without any problems. When we found out that the ceiling fan was not working, the staff fixed it within about half an hour.

Unfortunately, there were more negative aspects of this accommodation. Right upon arrival, we were surprised that the room had no air conditioning and the overall equipment was very poor. There was no bedside table, desk, TV, or safe. The mattresses were uncomfortably hard and the door closed poorly, with large gaps through which both light and noise from the hallway came in. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was insufficient – there were hairs left from previous guests, the trash bin was not emptied, and the shower drain was dirty. The Wi-Fi worked very poorly, often cutting out, and on top of that we experienced power outages several times a day, usually lasting up to half an hour. The view from the room was disturbed by a large construction site directly below, where work was going on from morning until evening. The bathroom lacked basic amenities such as soap or shampoo, and the breakfast, served in the reception building, was rather weak and not to our taste. Overall, we would recommend this accommodation only for undemanding travelers who are simply looking for a cheap overnight stay near the center and do not mind the lack of comfort or cleanliness.

Estaba muy bien ubicado, en pleno centro de Ella y cerca de la estación de tren. Buena relación calidad precio.

La puerta de las 2 habitaciones que cogimos no cerraba bien y se podía ver por fuera.

Deluxe room with balcony. The location was good and the room was fairly clean and quiet.

This hotel is very badly managed. My deluxe room was advertised with Wi-Fi, TV and in room safe deposit but the room they gave me had none of these facilities. My check-in took about two hours because when I highlighted this problem the management just played dumb and said it was a booking.com issue. Eventually after 24 hours I did get a TV and a Wi-Fi modem installed in my room. I paid for the room on the second day but when I checked out they insisted that I pay again when I call them I had already paid they ignored me and continued to invoice me. The issue was only resolved when I eventually managed to locate my receipt. So if you want to avoid these kind of issues keep searching.

Super Lage, mitten im Zentrum, Zimmer einfach, aber sauber. Ella ist sehr schön für einen Kurzbesuch.

Ella ist ziemlich laut, leider sind wegen der zentralen Lage des Hotels natürlich dann auch die angrenzenden Clubs zu hören. Wer hier absteigt, muss, je nach Lage des Zimmers, mit lauter Musik in der Nacht rechnen. Aber dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts und ob das zu jeder Zeit so ist, weiß ich auch nicht.

A la hora de hacer la reserva te aparecen muchos servicios como televisión, que luego en la habitación no hay, el último día pedimos el desayuno para llevar y no estaba, así que nos tuvimos que ir sin desayunar…

Het was een mooie ruime kamer. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Er is een uitgebreid ontbijt in het hotel aan de overkant. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Er was geen wifi, ook na meerdere keren vragen is het helaas niet gelukt met de wifi. Er was toch nog wel geluidsoverlast in de avond van de drukke straat.

Our room was on the 5th floor but there wasn’t a lift.

Lo mejor de este sitio es la ubicación, está a unos pocos minutos andando de la estación de tren y de la parada de autobuses. Justo al lado de la calle principal. Tanto la habitación como el baño son muy grandes y está todo muy limpio.

El wifi no funcionaba en nuestra planta. Avisamos varias veces, pero no fueron capaces de arreglarlo. Las puertas de las habitaciones estan agrietadas y se ve todo desde fuera. Además cierra un poco mal. La insonorización es nula, algo que no pasa desapercibido debido a los ruidos tanto de la fiesta nocturna hasta altas horas de la madrugada, como de la afluencia de gente en zonas comunes y las habitaciones. Puede ser un poco dificil encontrar el hotel, ya que la recepción y la zona de desayuno están en otro edificio cruzando la calle.

I had a wonderful stay at City Heaven Ella! The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding nature. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay, always making sure we were comfortable. The rooms were spacious, with modern amenities and everything worked perfectly. It's also in a great location—just a short walk to Ella town and major attractions. Whatever concerns might have existed in the past have clearly been addressed. A peaceful and relaxing stay—highly recommended!
