Ik had een heel fijne kamer, met wasmachine en koelkast en vriezer. Het bed was comfortabel en de airco hielp goed tegen de warmte. De ligging was ook fijn met een bushalte voor de deur en Sillim station op loopafstand. De host was super aardig en behulpzaam, al met al super genoten van mijn tijd hier.

Het was even wennen dat de wc en badkamer dicht op elkaar zijn, maar dat was prima te doen.

It was awesome. The manager was one of the nicest and sweetest person I’ve met in Korea. If I come back I’ll definitely go there

昨年に続き2度目の利用です。バス停がすぐそばにあり、部屋も清潔、スタッフの方もとても親切です。 昨年、バスルームに履き物がなかったのですが、今年は用意されており、また洗濯用洗剤も用意されていました。 机の上にはカップ麺もひとつ置いてあり、昨年よりさらにグレードアップしていました。 近くの川では、夜間にミニ噴水ショーも見られました！

If I could rate Forest higher than ten I would. My 16 year old son and I stayed five nights and were greeted at check in by a very friendly and helpful man, Victor, who turned out to be the manager and within the week our friend. He made himself available to us via his personal WhatsApp contact and checked up on us regularly while maintaining our privacy. The property has a community kitchen area, laundry facilities, ramen and rice with a stove and rice cooker, water cooler, and basic cookware. Our beds and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom and living spaces were modern and clean. AC was a lifesaver during the heat wave of August 2026. Personal fridge was nice too! There is a bus stop right outside and a subway entrance for line 2 within a ten minute walk or a short bus ride. Convenient store next door. Great restaurants to choose from in the neighborhood and a traditional market within a couple blocks. No complaints. Excellent value. We will be back next time we’re in Seoul. Thank you Victor, you made our stay memorable by adding a personal touch.

I stayed at this hotel for more than 11 days, and it was one of the most comfortable stays I've ever had while traveling. Let me start with what impressed me the most: the cleanliness here is truly impeccable. Honestly, they clean better than in some premium hotels in Turkey that I've also visited. Every day you can feel that the staff takes care of the place with genuine attention. But the real gem of this property is the manager – Victor. He's not just an administrator, but a true friend to the guests. He has an amazing, brilliant sense of humor – he can lighten the mood with a single joke and make you smile from the very first moment. At the same time, Victor is a very warm-hearted and kind person. He's always ready to help, and he does it instantly – any request, any question is resolved in seconds. He helped me carry my heavy suitcases to the taxi and personally made sure everything was loaded carefully. We became such good friends during my stay that it was almost sad to say goodbye! A special note about languages. I'm Russian, and I was really surprised that Victor can communicate in both Russian and English – not fluently, of course, but well enough to understand each other, share jokes, and discuss any details. It's incredibly nice to be understood without extra gestures. Now about the location. It's simply perfect: the area is very quiet, you sleep without any noise, yet right next to the exit there's a bus stop, and buses run almost every minute. The metro is a 10‑minute walk away, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to suit every taste. You don't even have to go far from the neighborhood – just turn onto the parallel street, and you'll find lots of great places to eat delicious food. Practical perks: in the hallway there's an iron (you can take it anytime) and even a vacuum cleaner if anyone needs it – very convenient for long stays.

Victor was great, he was extremely helpful despite the language barrier. He always kept his spirits high no matter the hour.

The location of the hotel is not within the central part of seoul so you will have to take the train or bus to many of the touristy spots. However, its got its own charm away from all the bustle of the city centre

I thought for a goshiwon (dormitory) in Korea, my room was quite nice!! The washroom was great and the kitchen had all the supplies you needed. But the best part of my stay was the kindness of the host. From the moment I walked into the building, he was so helpful, thoughtful, and understanding. I had a struggle with my washroom but he was by my door within minutes after me texting him. He helped me without any complaints, and always offered his help. I can quite literally say you should book this place just to meet the host. You will truly be in very good hands. Kindness always and always makes a difference!! And he was one of the kindest (if not the kindest) person I have ever met (and I lived in Canada for a decade, so I KNOW and recognize true kindness!!!). He was also very supportive of me when I told him about the throat infection I developed in Korea. He quite literally supported me through it all.

There wasn’t much I didn’t like at all. At first, I was worried about the location but the people around were so nice!!

És igual al que surt a les fotografies. Tot molt nou i net. Molt ben comunicat. A la mateixa porta pasen molts autobusos que et deixen en 2 minuts a la línea 2 del metro. El senyor, molt amable.

I had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, and the owner of the establishment is a very kind person and an exceptional host ! Although it is located a little outside the city center, it is only a 5-minute walk from Sillim Station on Line 2. There are also several bus stops around the Silim intersection leading to the city center. There is also a direct bus to Gimpo Airport (651) at the feet of the residence (Bus stop: Namseoul Middle School). One note for future guests: when I checked Google Maps, I initially thought the establishment did not exist because the street-view pictures are not up to date(2018). I recommend using Naver Maps instead, where you can find more recent pictures of the establishment.

The room was clean and well maintained, from the bed to the shower and toilet. The washing machine works well and there's a dryer available in the communal kitchen for use. Location wise, the accommodation is conveniently located right by a bus stop that takes you to the nearest station in one stop. Plenty of places in the neighbourhood to get your food from without much of a worry and that includes your convenient stores. The manager here works hard to make sure your stay here, from the beginning to the very end, is as fun and positive as possible.

The location is very convenient for taking the bus and also super close to the subway. There are plenty of food options nearby. The host is wonderful and very friendly~ I would definitely love to stay here again next time!

Clean and comfortable

Victor, Victor, Victor! The hotel manager, Victor, is an amazing person who will do absolutely everything to make you feel right at home. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they have everything you could possibly need, including a washing machine. It’s a perfect choice for both short and long-term stays. There is a shared kitchen, which is stocked with free ramen and free water. The location is excellent—surrounded by tons of restaurants, cafes, and markets, and just a short walk away from the city metro. Definitely meet the hotel manager Victor and enjoy his wonderful hospitality!

+ The owner is the nicest and most helpful person you will meet in Seoul!!! + it looks kind of far away from the center of Seoul but you can take a bus to Sillim station from right outside the door and then you're very well connected because the Subway line 2 will take you to a lot of the most popular spots in Seoul :) + Free amenties like water, ramen, rice, kitchen appliances in the free kitchen, washing machine etc. + This has been my favorite place to stay at in Seoul in the 4 times I've visited! also don't be afraid about what people say about Sillim-dong, I came hone late/was walking around late a lot of times (alone as a woman) and I never felt scared or unsafe. There's also anything you could ever need within like a 10 minute walk to Sillim station (coffee, restaurants, daiso, olive young etc.)

The place is very clean.The accessibility of the maintenance man named Victor is noteworthy, he is amazing and helps with anything needed. The room has everything, and a kitchen next to the room, a quiet and excellent area Kudos to the staff for their amazing service.

The property was clean. The communal kitchen is well stocked and provides complementary rice and noodles. There is a laundry machine in every room. Ease of check in and buses pass through the main road at all hours. Proximity to the market is good. The host Victor is an absolute gem, very helpful and very responsive, quite possibly the friendliest and most amiable host I have ever encountered.

The rooms are small and the beds are not ideal for a couple as they are two singles. The description on the booking mentions city view although this is not the case.

I stayed here for three weeks and it was a very pleasant stay. The room is small but clean and well arranged, it has everything you need. But the best thing about this place is the kind manager, he always put a smile on my face. He takes care of the guests and accomodation really well. When you contact him, he responds quickly and he goes out of his way to help you! Thank you!

Не очень близко к центру, но есть весь транспорт рядом.

Von Waschmaschine bis Föhn war alles vorhanden. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Victor Lee stand immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Sehr gerne wieder.

The manager's behavior was nice and room was clean at first. They offered clean 4 towels, additional toiletries and cleaned bedsheet, noodles to eat.

The bed was extremely small. During night it was hard to sleep because of the outside noise caused by the vehicles. There was no curtain for the window.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Für mich war es eine super Lage mit der Ubahn in der Nähe und vielen Bussen gleich vor der Tür. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Küche war sauber.

Der Abfluss hat etwas gestunken, aber mit dem Abzug von der Dusche und bisschen Lüften, war es ok.

De beheerder was helemaal super. Hij kwam met extra noedels en slippers ( toen hij zag dat ik met blote voeten over de gang liep). De wasmachine (na vijf weken Zuid Korea een uitkomst)

Kleine kamer, maar volstaat

冬だから仕方ないですが、少し乾燥していました。

Très bon rapport qualité prix, on est à côté de la ligne 2 qui boucle dans Seoul ce qui nous permet d'aller facilement partout même si cela prend un peu plus de temps qu'en étant au centre. Le quartier est très sympa avec la promenade au bord du ruisseau. Le gérant est à l'écoute et disponible.

Pour ma chambre, la fenêtre était malheureusement légèrement tordue, le joint ne touchait donc plus, en hiver c'était frais. Mais le gérant m'a ajouté un chauffage électrique qui a arrangé le tout.

Very good host, provide extra heater when we felt cold, buy breakfast and water for us, call taxi for us to airport, so kind hearted, so grateful for the service and help.

Exceptionnel. Accueil bienveillant, propreté impeccable, chambre confortable. Bon emplacement pour visiter. Quartier sympa, plein de petits cafés et restaurants. La gentillesse de l'hôte. Une cuisine toute équipée et même plus. Merci pour ce beau séjour. Je recommande vivement.

Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich, hat mir beim Check in mit den Koffer geholfen. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut, es gab auch eine gratis Ramen Packung dazu, das fand ich auch gut. Ein Fernseher war auch im Raum und eine eigenen Toilette mit Dusche war auch da.

Das Bett war sehr unbequem, hatte Schwierigkeiten, guten Schlaf zu bekommen. Jede Nacht waren von den anderen Nebenzimmern laute Geräusche zu hören, die es mir fast unmöglich machten, einzuschlafen. Ich fühlte mich leider in den 3 Tagen nicht erholt. Ich weiß, der Gastgeber kann da an sich nichts für, aber das war leider die Erfahrung, die ich dort gemacht habe.

The room has good facilities. It even has a laundry machine. It’s easy to check-in and check-out. The single bed is a little small. The transportation is convenient by bus and metro. But the bus was extremely crowded in the morning! The area felt a little sketchy at night. But I guess it’s a good budget option in Seoul.

It’s far away from many main tourist attractions.

잘 묵었다 갑니다. 4층에 쌀, 라면 있는 줄도 몰랐네요.

실내 휴지통이 없어요.

房间很干净，虽然有点小，但是很适合一个人独自旅行。房间里卫生间，淋浴头，洗衣机，冰箱，空调都有，离地铁站也只有15分步行距离，门口也有公交车站。周围美食也很多。

Propre bien localisé à 10 min à pied de la station Silim. Le propriétaire est très sympathique !

La cuisine est un peu petite mais suffisante pour un séjour temporaire !

I stayed here for two weeks. The room was very clean and the furniture seemed new. The place was quiet and there was a shared kitchen which was nice,and the washing machine in the room was a really good idea for someone staying in Seoul for a long time. There is a bus stop right below the building and two subway stations nearby. Public transportation is very efficient for getting around in Seoul. The owner was also quick to respond to any questions or problems I had. There was a convenience store 2 minutes away with a very friendly salesperson. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Living here was comfortable. It was silent and cosy. Everything was new. For the Seoul the room size was big, I liked it very much. Also it's located between two metro stations, so you can choose which you prefer.

It is very comfortable, the installation is very nice and there are a bunch of food-locals and convenience stores nearby. It is really nice and it is totally worth it for the price.

I had a lot of problems with the bathroom, the drainage is very very slow, I think it might have been blocked, so hopefully the issue is solved now. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

Photos are almost exactly how they appear. When I first arrived, I remember being amazed by how well maintained the room looked. Overall, super clean and the sweetest staff. Whenever I had a request for shampoo, towels, a hairdryer, the host provided it kindly. Communication is super important and I noticed he was already willing to help which I think is worth a lot of praise!!

There is little to nothing I didn’t like about the property. But if I HAD to pick, it would be the sewage smell that is most present at nighttime around the bathroom - although I’ve noticed this with every Korean hotel I’ve been at, so it wasn’t too shocking. Just something that was a bit discomforting.
