NURBATA HOLDING'S Hostel

We were warmly welcomed and picked up from the airport. The room was exactly as described, and we really appreciated the free coffee, tea, and water. After just a few days, we felt like part of the family. A very friendly and welcoming place — we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

The only small downside was that the Wi-Fi could be a little better.

Très bon hostel, clim qui fonctionnait bien, la chambre était propre, la salle de bain également. La famille est très accueillante, et nous ont offert un repas, le café et thé. On peut louer des scooters à un bon prix sur place, il y a également un service de laverie (très rapide !). L’emplacement est pratique : nous sommes à 15 min en scooter du centre de Kuta, 10min de la belle plage de Tajung Ann, il y a également un warung très bon et peu cher à côté (Warung without name) et pleins de street food. On est à côté de supermarchés (5 min à pied). Il y a également un transfer du port à l’hôtel mais à un prix un peu cher. Hotel très calme ☺️

La wifi ne fonctionnait pas à l’intérieur des chambres (mais ok en extérieur). Si vous réservez les chambres du bas, il n’y a pas d’eau chaude (et ce n’est pas marqué lors de la réservation). Service de taxi un peu cher (par rapport à d’autres taxis que nous avons pris sur l’île).

Le logement était joli, moderne et propre. Il est logé dans la ferme d’une famille adorable, toujours prête à partager une discussion avec vous. Nous avons eu de l’eau chaude au premier étage Il y avait des petits chatons adorables Possibilité de louer des scooters à la famille

Nous avons tout apprécié mais si vous venez à Kuta pour faire la fête et rentrer tard, ce logement n’est pas fait pour vous, car la famille ferme les barrières de la ferme pour la nuit. Si vous rentrez tard, ils doivent se réveiller pour vous ouvrir…

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I initially planned to stay with Ebu and his family for just two days, but I ended up staying for almost a month and I think that says everything about how comfortable and welcomed I felt here. What started as a short stay became one of the most meaningful parts of my time in Lombok. Ebu and his family didn’t just give me a place to stay, they welcomed me into their everyday life. I got to experience local village life, visit morning markets for fresh seafood, attend village weddings, watch beautiful sunsets, share countless meals, and have so many conversations over coffee. Ebu always made sure I was okay - checking whether I’d eaten if I missed dinner, asking when I was coming home, and making sure I was safe. His family constantly made me feel cared for, without it ever feeling like a guest-host relationship. I also got the privilege of naming their three kittens - Indomie, nasi goreng and mie goreng!! As someone who runs a family homestay myself in Majuli, Northeast India, staying here gave me a completely different perspective on what it means to host travellers. I came as a guest and left feeling like part of the family. If you’re looking for an authentic local experience in Lombok and want to experience the warmth of staying with a family rather than simply booking accommodation, I couldn’t recommend Ebu and his family enough. Thank you for making a solo traveller feel at home so far from home. I am definitely coming back here every time I visit Indonesia ❤️

Un Homestay très récent avec des chambres très confortables. Literie de qualité. Climatisation fonctionnant parfaitement. Eau chaude avec pression. Petite terrasse devant la chambre avec une petite table et 2 fauteuils. Parfait ! Un endroit au calme, à seulement 5 km de Kuta. Idéal pour visiter la région. Le propriétaire loue des scooters de qualité à prix raisonnable, indispensables pour se déplacer. 2 petits supermarchés (Alfa mart et Indomaret) à 200 m, très pratiques. Bref, un excellent séjour pour nous. On recommande !

One of the most easygoing families we’ve met in Indonesia. Suhaibun and his lovely wife embrace you with a warm welcome. We ended up staying longer because of the fine beaches, surfspot and enduro possibilities in the surroundings. Clean, straightforward and comfortable rooms. Value for money. Free coffees, tea and fruit. Rent out scooter, take carenof laundry and arrange drivers and tours. Highly recommended for people travelling with and without a family and enjoy a homestay over a hotel.

I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Kuta, Lombok-the hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, from towels and room facilities to food and help getting around. They even cooked for us and took us to the market, which made the experience feel very personal and special. The guest rooms are in a separate building from the family’s house, so even though it’s a homestay, you still have plenty of privacy and it feels more like staying in your own Airbnb. They also rent motorcycles and offer a taxi service at very reasonable prices, which made everything much easier during our stay. We felt very comfortable and well looked after the whole time, and I was genuinely sad to leave.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft zum Übernachten. Ruhige Lage, man kann mit dem Roller alles schnell erkunden und erreichen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und schön , wir haben nichts vermisst. Unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit war der Owner. Es gab immer ein nettes Gespräch und Kaffee und Tee dazu. Für uns war‘s spitze.

Here you're not booking a room, you're booking a stay with one of the most amicable and caring families I've had during my travels. From the minute you enter, Ebun (the pakcik or owner) would tell you we're a family, don't hesitate to ask us anything. From getting a massage for my sprained back, to sending me to the hospital, your privacy is fully respected yet you're never alone in a foreign country. Solo travellers can rejoice talking to Ebun or rolling an organic tobacco that he takes pride in. Couples are just as welcome given the insanely spacious room for a price that boogles my mind given how close it is to the surfing village at gerupuk and Kuta center. Initially I chose to stay at selong belanak due to its proximity to the airport, but this place is truly comforting, even cheaper than other homestays with a scooter rented combined. Whilst I initially planned to stay just 2 days, it's been my main base for the past 7, letting me visit bukit merese, pantai ann, tunak resort and many many more given how close it is. Also food options are plenty and 1/3 the price in Kuta, where coconut latte can be found for 10k down the road and pizza for 30-40k

Séjour incroyable, Ebun est un hôte remarquable. Nous avons été accueillis à bras ouvert, et invités quotidiennement à partager un café et biscuits pour échanger ! Le logement est propre, le lit confortable, la salle de bain fonctionnelle. Les scooters en location à l'établissement sont de super qualité et pour un excellent prix. L'emplacement est parfait, proche des plus belles plages de Kuta, deux supérettes à 2min à pied ou 15 secondes en scooter. Si vous n'avez pas envie de vous déplacer trop loin pour manger, je vous recommande fortement de Bestie coffe food juste à côté. Il y a également de la street food à 1 minute à pied : bakso, saté ayam, et es teh. Nous avons tellement adoré cet endroit que nous y sommes retournés quelques jours à la fin de notre voyage à Lombok pour finir sur une note parfaite ! -------------- An incredible stay—Ebun is a wonderful host. Notre séjour a été fantastique grâce à l’accueil absolument adorable que le couple d’hôtes nous ont offert. Merci beaucoup ! La chambre était simple mais très propre et fonctionnelle, l’emplacement était idéal, la location de scooter était très peu cher. Mention spéciale pour les kucings trop MIGNONS!

Dés notre arrivée, les hôtes nous ont extrêmement bien accueilli comme si l’on se connaissait depuis des années. Une gentillesse à l’état pur ! Grand lit confortable, air conditionné fonctionnant parfaitement, chambre spacieuse et salle de bain assez grande. Les logements sont très récents. Petite terrasse confortable située devant la chambre. Situé à une dizaine de minutes en scooter du centre mais seulement à quelques minutes de la plus belle plage de Kuta. L’hôte et sa femme nous ont fait sentir comme des membres de leur famille, nous n’hésiterons absolument pas à revenir !! Je conseille fortement

Die Familie ist super freundlich und sehr grosszügig und herzlich. Es wird einem Früchte, Kaffee und Tee angeboten. Da ich keinen Roller gemietet hatte, fuhren sie mich sogar zu einem nahegelegenen Restaurant. Super süss. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Pour moi c'était un peu loin de centre ville de kuta, mais bon emplacement près du surf et des plages. Les coqs sont dérangeant si vous avez le sommeil léger.

Ma réservation initiale d’une nuit s’est transformée en séjour d’une semaine ahah. Les chambres sont très propres et confortables. On est en dehors de l’agitation de Kuta mais proche à la fois (10 minutes en scooter). Vous pouvez louer des scooters directement chez eux, ils sont en excellent état !! Ici, on se sent comme à la maison, la famille vous accueille comme si vous étiez un des leurs et fait tout pour que vous soyez bien. Ce sont vraiment des chouettes personnes, je reviendrai ici si je retourne à Kuta. N’hésitez plus pour réserver !!

Detta var en höjdpunkt på vårt resande, vi bor tillsammans med familjen och de är så sjukt välkomnande. Frukost, middagar och lära oss fläta palmblad. Min pojkvän var sjuk under tiden men de var alltid tillgängliga att hjälpa till. Verkligen en så fin upplevelse att bo här och lära sig om kulturen, religionen och traditioner. Läget är 5 min till stranden med scooter. Detta är ett ställe att bo på om man vill bort från kuta och få en riktig homestay upplevelse. Vill ni festa och leva den delen så skippa detta boende i respekt mot familjen.

È stata la cosa migliore che poteva succedersi, ho vissuto un esperienza con questa famiglia, ho avuto un problema ad un piede e senza il loro aiuto non so come avrei fatto, mi hanno aiutato in tutti i modi, ci hanno trattati come parte della loro famiglia e ci hanno dato tutto! Davvero non potevo essere più fortunata. La posizione è ottima, le camere sono nuove, ristrutturate e in ordine e completamente indipendenti!!! È stato stupendo! Sono delle persone eccezionali, consiglio a tutti di venire qui, se torneremo a Bali certamente tornerò qui!

Las habitaciones son muy amplias y además muy limpias. Tienen servicio de Laundry así como puedes alquilar una moto. El personal me trató como una más de la familia :)

L’accueil très chaleureuse des prioritaires n’a pas de prix. Toujours au petits soins, les fruits et le café au petit dej, on s’est sentie comme chez notre famille. Situé dans un endroit très calme, à côté du circuit, et pas loin de la ville, si vous voulez voir et essayer la vie local c’est là où il faut aller. Il y a une possibilité de louer un scooter. Nous avons préféré faire appel au beau fils du propriétaire qui donne les services du taxi local et qui a eu des super conseils. Il propose aussi les sorties de découverte, la plongée, les visites , etc. Je recommande fortement.

The hospitality of the whole family makes you feel at home. They take care of you, share everything with you... The typical Lombok coffee, their incredible futta (I've never eaten such fresh and flavorful fruit in my life), their conversation... They really are wonderful people.

Wir hatten hier den schönsten Aufenthalt während unseres gesamten Urlaubs. Begrüßt wurden wir mit einer frischen Kokosnuss, Obst und einem netten Gespräch mit dem Gastgeber. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sehr sauber, das Bett sehr bequem. Rollermiete war problemlos möglich. Wir bekamen stets Tee, Kaffee und frisches Obst angeboten und hatten viele wirklich schöne Gespräche mit dem Gastgeber Ebun und seiner Familie. Alle waren zu jeder Zeit äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sogar verlängert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können es nur jedem ans Herz legen, hier zu buchen. Die Unterkunft ist mit dem Roller etwa 15min von Kuta entfernt und ca. 5 min vom Strand Tanjung Aan. Ein Supermarkt ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt.

Strávili jsme tři noci u velmi milé,přátelské a ochotné rodiny. Pomohli nám se vším,co bylo potřeba,každý den jsme si s nimi vypili kávu, natrhali nám kokosy a hodně jsme se také nasmáliI s jejich dcerou. I přes slabší znalost angličtiny jsme se spolu bez problémů domluvili přes Google překladač. Ubytování je jednoduché, na vesnici, ale čisté a klidné, na skútru kousek od pláží i Kuty. Doporučujeme a moc rádi se někdy vrátíme!

Unser Aufenthalt war großartig! Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr herzlich, sauber und unglaublich gastfreundlich – wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Frühstück ist zwar nicht inklusive, aber das war für uns völlig in Ordnung. Stattdessen wurden wir immer wieder mit Tee, Kaffee und frischem Obst verwöhnt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Mit dem Scooter ist man in nur 8 Minuten in Kuta, gleichzeitig genießt man hier die Ruhe abseits des Trubels. Nachts ist es angenehm ruhig und der Strand ist schnell erreichbar. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Es war mit unsere schönste Unterkunft auf Indonesien. Die Unterkunft hat eine top Lage. Wir waren mit dem Roller innerhalb von 5 Minuten am Tanjung Aan Beach und innerhalb von 10 Minuten in Kuta. Unser Gastgeber, Suhaibun und seine Familie haben uns wirklich ganz herzlich aufgenommen. Wir haben abends oft zusammen gesessen und nette Gespräche geführt. Wir konnten auch ganz einfach einen Roller bei ihnen ausleihen. Sie haben uns auch super lieb erklärt, wie wir fahren müssen, da wir davor noch nie gefahren sind. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sehr sauber und wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir können es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Die Gastgeber Familienwar super nett und hilfsbereit. Die Mietscooter waren alle super neu und zu einem anständigen Preis zu haben. Supermarkt 2min vom Haus.

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Zimmer und sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Familie. Das Zimmer ist großräumig und sehr neuwertig gepflegt. Es ist etwas abseits vom Kuta Trubel, was ich auch gerne wollte. Mit dem Roller sind Kuta und umliegende Strände schnell zu erreichen.

When you are searching for a place where it feels like home this is the right stay. The family is very caring and tries to help with anything. The rooms are great for the price and also you only have 10 minutes to Kuta. The scooter rental was very easy. Highly recommend!!

Es hat mir alles gefallen, die Lage der Unterkunft ist super, man hat seine Ruhe, es ist sauber und sehr idyllisch also ich finde es sehr authentisch in nurbata. Man ist in der Nähe von den Stränden und kuta 10 bis 15 min . Man braucht ein scooter doch die Straßen sind so wunderbar zum fahren. Selbst für Anfänger. Ama Ebbun und seine Familie sind so freundlich und echt. Sie sind Herzensmenschen. Ich war eine Woche dort und habe mein aufenthalt sogar verlängert. Wäsche werden für einen sehr guten Preis gewaschen, scooter Verleihung reibungslos. Sein Sohn Didi sorgt für den transport und alle sind sehr behilflich. Wer das echte lombok sehen will und wunderschöne Menschen um sich herum haben will sollte dort übernachten Bis zum nächsten, ich komme wieder Ama Ebbun

Die Besitzer haben uns super freundlich und herzlich aufgenommen. Wir haben sie sehr ins Herz geschlossen, auch nach der kurzen Zeit. Ebun und seine Frau sind sehr Gastfreundlich und haben uns bei allem unterstützt. Ein Rollerverleih war problemlos möglich, wir durften den Roller sogar länger leihen als wir bei Ebun gewohnt haben und haben unsere Sachen einige Tage bei ihm stehen lassen. Auch die Unterkunft an sich ist super harmonisch, sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist optimal wenn man einen Roller hat und den braucht man sowieso auf der Insel.

L établissement est loin de la folie et du bruit de Kuta ; ici vous vivez en campagne et à la fois près d une des plus belle plage de Kuta ( point surf ).. et lever et coucher de soleil. vous pouvez vous faire livrer de la bière par un membre de la famille, qui tient une buvette en bas de la montée coucher de soleil et la dame du home stay prepare du mie goreng. Le fils est guide et peut vous emmener sur les plages pink, au marché de poisson au gros … pêcher des langoustes et nager avec des bb requins ( pour un prix très juste). Ils font aussi taxi ( prix normal) si vous n avez louer de scooter. Ils louent aussi des scooters. Autre chose à préciser …. Pas de mosquée proche, donc sommeil moins haché.

L eau de la douche est froide comme partout dans l île. Les explications sont très peu nombreuses sur les services proposés par les hôtes … n hésitez pas à demander

Clean and nice looking rooms. Family is very friendly. Price is good as location is a bit further away from Kuta center. But you can rent a scooter here to get there or to the Aan beach.

Very clean place. Owners very lovely people. Helped US so much. Even helped with fixing motorcycle when Panier bag broke. Laundry place next door to wash your clothes only 9 k a kilo. Rooms have aircondioner and are very new and clean. Will stay again in future. Regards Peter from Australia
