SWORD LAKE Hotel

Meget centralt liggende hotel.

Receptionisten virkede meget træt og uengageret, men udfyldte dog opgaven

We had to wait over 45mins to get any sort of communication about our room. The room was clean

Lack of communication and customer service

Ubicació fantàstica.

Havies d’entrar per un passadís. L’hotel semblava nou però poc cuidat.

Room ok, it was cleanish, could have been better. No toilet roll not great! Otherwise we managed to sleep!

Receptionist asleep on the sofa most of the time.! Hard to wake at the times! We left luggage in her care we were not convinced how safe it was!

Location, but hard to find

Towels were dirty, no toilet paper, the receptionist was always asleep in the lobby regardless of the time of day.

Stylish and modern

No sign to locate

Not much, sorry

Unfortunately, I quickly realized, the young staff was not having a good day, and didn't like working there, I felt. It is not my style to give negative review but there was ZERO customer service. Nobody to welcome me when I arrived around 8pm. Had to wait like 20mns until she eventually showed up, not smiling and not really wanting to assist. The morning after, she was sleeping on the sofa in the lobby when I went out to walk around the lake and when I came back around 9am to check out, she was still sleeping and I had to ask her to get up (!) to give me a receipt for my 1 night....whereas her face made me think I was bothering her more than anything else... I hv been coming to Hanoi for the last 30 years and it was by far, my worse experience. The room was alright, clean, even though there were no towels. She gave me instead hand towels...

Beliggenhet

Comodissimo . Camera accogliente ed elegante

Struttura deludente sotto diversi aspetti.

Location, Helpful and not intrusive stuff. Good value for money.

Central

Excellent cozy rooms that are tucked away in an alley. This place is close to the lake and makes for a relaxing experience

Not easy to find

Very good!

The light is a little small. But nothing, overall very good experience.

Our room was comfortable, stylish and clean. Right by the lake but secluded enough not to hear the traffic from the street. Friendly helpful staff throughout our stay

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location!

Hidden down an alleyway in the centre of the city with a large new hotel in front of it is this little peaceful gem in a city that doesn't sleep and packed with noise it was an absolute sanctuary. Beautifully styled and well appointed room complete with a freestanding bathtub and generous balcony to room #801 this is the perfect hideaway to retreat to. The room was clean and well presented (the walls could use a little'touchup' from the wear and tear of guests but given the cheap price and the lovely decor/finish of the hotel i am willing to accept and think its great value for money.

Hidden away down an alleyway, and had I not previously read the reviews iwould not have found it as there are no signs in the street surrounding indicating its location. The staff member (singular) was asleep on the couch when we arrived, when we went out and later returned and when we checked out - but in their defence they where there the duration of our stay alone as far as I am aware. The lock on the balcony door was broken so it didn't/couldn't be locked i notified the ataff member of this so hopefully it is remedied before the next guest?

Decoration and Room are stylish. This hotel resemble European style in decoration.

1) Staffs are not quite professional. They did know we’re coming. We check-in at 4PM. Rooms aren’t finished. We have to wait for few hours for the room to get done. 2) Cleaning Staff didn’t put their effort into their job. They only changes what we see as major things such as bed sheet, towel. But for in-detail locations such as swiping the floor, swiping the table or change new toiletries didn’t change. Previous guests are still there. Also, the most importantly, the bath zone is slip. It may cause an accident. 3) Lobby is dusted. Consisting of lobby un-belonging items. Guest felt like this Lobby is not welcome them.

Great staff. Good shower, comfy bed.

A bit tricky to locate.

location very central

dirty and mold

Alex went above and beyond to make me feel at home.

Pulizia e ordine dell’hotel.

Good location - it’s set back from the road so you have to walk down an alleyway but this was fine. The bed was also comfy. It’s also easy to reach the main attractions and isn’t far from The Note Cafe and right next to Hoan Kiem lake.

The room is not bad, but needs to be cleaned more.

The staff wasn’t that friendly, and the lobby isn’t proper and clean…

Cute little hotel seems pretty new and very comfortable. The location is fantastic, next to the lake but quiet at night time

We didn’t have towels they took them a while to arrive. Breakfast isn’t included

We had a great stay at sword lake, nice small hotel so not lots of people staying at one time. Conveniently located near the bustle of old quarter but far enough to not have too much overcrowded-ness. We were also greeted with a bouquet as it was my sisters birthday - very thoughtful and kind. Alex was a great support helping us out, from proving local recommendations to helping us with translating etc. we wish Alex all the best!

Construction noises outside but that is no fault of the hotel.

Excellent location. Alex was welcoming and helped us book transfers etc and went over over and beyond to help us with locations and eateries.

Nothing

Very friendly staff and a great location near the centre of town. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable

The bathroom had a slight sewage smell sometimes and there was building work going on outside till late at night

Location

Room had no tv, bathroom sink clogged and bidet leaking, wall paint was peeling

Location was great!

Didn’t really have the booking facilities for trips, we went next door to little Hanoi hotel who were super helpful.

L emplacement

Nothing to like

didn't like the location, hotel was inside the small alley and hard to find, the room was dirty and spiders were crawling around the walls. As you walk into the hotel you can smell mouldy and uncomfortable deodorant. We have to call a few times to the hotel staff phone number though the written note, waited 15 -25 minutes for the staff to come back and check us in, we can smell the alcohol and look like the staff have a few drinks.

What a beautiful room very nice decorated. Great location just in front of the lake and so close from Cathedral and old Quarter,I enjoy the area way better then being inside busy old quarter. Great service, the woman at the reception provide full information. Very clean and equipped. No noise as the hotel is a bit behind main street.

Nothing, all good . Just 1 remark to improve. There should be a sign showing the way to the hotel from the main street, so to insure taxis drop guests off at the correct location. I find directly the hotel but would have been nice to have sign 😄

It was noisy and inside a small lane and had to carry the luggage because car wasn't able to go inside

Thuy was so kind and helped us during our stay.

The tv was not working due to hotel renovations
