Reviewed Sep 12, 2026It was centrally located, we had a beautiful room over looking a garden, the hosts were responsive and it was very unique and charming. Continental breakfast in their dining room was lovely!
I didn’t mind this but we were on the top floor, if you have issues with stairs I wouldn’t recommend. Also would have been a nice touch if they brought our bags up for us. Slightly dated.

Konstruktionsbedingt eher kleine Räume, kein Aufzug (beschwerlich für Bewohner des dritten Stocks). Keine Klimaanlage

Chambre pour 4. Le canapé lit est très inconfortable. Le petit déjeuner est rudimentaire. La chambre était infestée de punaises de lit, nous avions réservé l’hôtel pour 3 nuits et nous avons dû le quitté après avoir trouvé les insectes dans la lutherie après 2 nuits passées là bas. Piqûres constatées par le médecin à notre retour en France. L’hôtel nous atteste n’en n’avoir pas trouvé alors que nous avons amené des insectes écrasés à la réception dans un mouchoir et photos à l’appui ! Nous avons exigé le remboursement de notre séjour, qui a été fait seulement après notre prise de contact avec booking.

The only extremely bad thing I can say is the lack of ventilation in hot weather, even with staying on the top floor and constantly having the window open and fan blowing it was still very hard to sleep and very humid

La stanza familiare ha un divano letto che fanno passare per due persone ma a malapena puo' ospitarne una. È comunque molto scomodo e dopo 3 notti si stava davvero male. Bagno piccolissimo e anche piuttosto mal ridotto.

La camera familiare era spaziosa con il bagno ristrutturato e pulito. La colazione era abbastanza varia sia per il dolce che per il salato. Se dovessi tornare a Londra penso che ritorneremo in questo hotel.

Ma chambre avait une vue sur un mur .. cependant la deuxieme chambre avait vue sur l’exterieur. C’est dommage pour le même prix payé pour les 2.. il n’y avait également pas de prises européennes donc ramenez-en avec vous et c’est niquel

Bed bugs on the first floor, hot fridges that didnt cool the food, closed windows on the first floor that were difficult to open because of dried paint, mound on the windows, a dripping tap in our room on the second floor, no windows on the 4-th floor in one of our rooms. There was a group of 27 people, we didn't like the hotel. The staff didn't mention the bed bugs, but moved us to another room, but next day new guests were accommodated there. It was terrible 😔😔😔. The owner, staff take care of money, bed bugs and moud.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026L'emplacement est à 5 minutes à pied du métro. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. La salle de bain est rénovée. Un ventilateur est disponible dans les chambres (canicule). Prises avec USB en plus des prises classiques au UK.
Le petit déjeuner peut être amélioré même s'il est complet. C'est toujours le même. On est à Londres, moquette au sol un peu vétuste, murs et fenêtre en papier comme souvent. Mobilier vétuste, mais bonne literie. Néanmoins, le quartier est calme. Au troisième étage, on doit grimper, mais on n'entend pas le métro.

Ci sono ancora moquettes degli anni 70 la pulizia lascia molto a desidera cioè ad esempio una bellissima sala colazione, ma peccato che ci sono delle ragnatele nei vetri che hanno anni

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Die Lage ist wirklich super, kurzer Weg zum U-Bahnhof Notting Hill Gate, fußläufig zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Portobello Market und tolle Pubs in der Gegend! Es gab ein gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obst und leckerem Gebäck!
Räumlich für vier Personen etwas eng im Familienzimmer, aber in London ist man ja auch nur zum Schlafen im Hotel, dafür war es okay!

La habitación no tiene aire acondicionado, solo un ventilador. La heladera no enfriaba bien. De hecho parecía que calentaba más que enfriar. Vendría bien una renovación de los cubrecamas. El de nuestra habitación estaba manchado. El desayuno nos resultó bastante básico y poco variado. Sería un punto a mejorar.

Winziges Doppelzimmer in der Dachgaube, Südseite und ohne Klimaanlage. Bei 28°C Außentemperatur mit nur einem kleinen Tischventilator war das nicht auszuhalten. Doppelbett mit ca. 1,40 m zu schmal, vor allem bei der Hitze. Bad sehr klein, aber sauber mit neuer Duche. Allerdings roch es aus den alten Rohren schlecht.

Mattan i rummet var dammig och smutsig i hörnen och under borden. Kylen funkade inte, badrummet var som en bastu, sängen var hård och sängkläderna var sträva.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Die Lage war hervorragend. Nicht weit von U-Bahn Notting Hill Gate. Schöne sichere Gegend. Viele Essensmöglichkeiten. Portobello Road ums Eck u Hyde Park 8 min zu Fuß. Das Hotel ist älter aber sauber. Zimmer und Bad für London wirklich groß. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im "Keller" hier war das Bad renoviert. Matratzen gut. Fenster kann man auf machen hat aber keine Aussicht. Frühstück war ok. Tagsüber gibt es Wasser, O-Saft u Kaffee zur freien Verfügung.
Zimmer wurde während unseres 4 tägigen Aufenthalt nicht gereinigt u auch keine Handtücher ausgetauscht (war für uns aber ok) benutze Kaffebecher usw im Zimmer muss man selbst austauschen an der Rezeption. Hier waren dir Mitarbeiter nicht besonders motiviert. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach und qualitativ nicht besonders hoch, mich hat gestört das nichts gekühlt war und nicht genügend Sitzplätze für alle Gäste zur Verfügung standen. Man hört Tag u Nacht die U-Bahn fahren...

Nos alojaron en la última planta y hacía muchísimo calor en la habitación todo el rato. Ni con la ventana abierta entraba aire. Por la noche fue horrible el calor que hacía dentro. Solo había un ventilador que no ayudaba mucho para refrescar. No podíamos dormir muy bien por esa razón. No hay persiana ni cortina oscura y de buena madrugada entrar mucha luz. El desayuno e muy básico.

4 etasjer uten heis og ingen aircondition. Vi lå i øverste etasje og det var så varmt at det var umulig å sove. Det er greit at ikke de reklamerer med heis og aircondition, men de sier heller ingenting om at de ikke har det, så der ble vi dessverre litt skuffet når vi skjønte det. Vinduet fremstod med noe som lignet mugg, og det kunne vært rengjort bedre. Men alt i alt et helt ok sted for 1 natt eller 2 hvis man ikke har noe imot trapper og varme.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Situat en una zona tranquil•la de Notting Hill, a menys de 10 minuts de dues estacions de metro. El personal amb ganes d’ajudar. Vam demanar canviar d’habitació perquè a la nostra feia molta calor i l’endemà ens en van donar una de millor en una zona menys calorosa.
No està adaptat per a la calor, a la planta de dalt l’habitació estava molt calenta i era molt difícil dormir. Era durant uns dies de calor excepcional. No té ascensor.

Las instalaciones deficientes: frigorífico no enfriaba, no había aire acondicionado, el monomando del baño flojo, muy sucio, limpieza deficiente, un día nos pusieron una toalla de ducha de menos, el ruido del metro era molesto por la noche (nos tocó una habitación en la planta baja) y las camas eran muy incómodas la de matrimonio tenía un bulto en el centro que te tiraba para los lados.

I had a single room and the room was too small. It was so hot and humid in the room. No AC, and poor ventilation. Even though there was a small ventilator, it didn’t help anything. I was sweating and couldn’t breath properly. The furnitures are also old and the bathroom needs a proper cleaning. It was one of cheapest hotels I could find in central London, but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll come here for the second time due to bad ventilation.

As there was no air-conditioning, the rooms were extremely hot. We were provided with a fan, however it was not strong enough for the heat in the room. Also there were a lot of stairs up to our room, and after a day of travelling and exploring in London, it was very tiring.
