I don't normally like to give things perfect scoring but I honestly couldn't fault the Trade Boutique. The staff were second to none. Both Sheldon and Jerome continuously went above and beyond for us; even remembering simple little details which made it extra nice. The rooms were so big and spacious with lots of features and good comfort. Breakfast in The Wes Cafe was a delight with friendly staff and tasty food. Complimentary arrival drink at the rooftop.

Nothing. Some people say about noise. We arrived on a saturday so yes you could hear a little music outside but it was actually nice and relaxing and felt like background music. We were there until Wednesday and no other night had music playing.

Poor quality fittings and fixtures. Poor comfort on beds and seats, and people shouting in the street and wheels spins by cars loudly audible. Broken fittings in our room. Poor bathroom layout (wall mounts sticking out right where you stand an shower).

Honestly one of the best stays I've had in a long time! Not only is the place beautiful, but the rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. But by far the best part of our stay was the staff, everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful and even went as far as to organize a security guard to walk with us (four girls) to the nearest bar when we wanted to go out for drinks later the evening. Absolutely fantastic and will definitively book with them again in the future!

La ubicación, al lado de restaurantes y enfrente un bar con música en directo muy bueno y muy buen ambiente. El personal es muy agradable y servicial.

The concierge team were excellent, so helpful and friendly, nothing was tioo much hassel, We have a really nice room that was quiet, vewry clean and well presented. The hotel was in a good spot and a short walk to the various sites. Breakfast was in lovely surroundings

Unfortunately the lift was a l;ittle tempremental whilst we were there also the breakfast menu was fixed and a little underwhelming

Brilliant location, handy to shops and hop on hop off bus for access to attractions or walking to the wharf area. Staff were super helpful and friendly and the room was cleaned and perfectly presented daily. The room and kitchen was well equipped and most of the time we just cooked or heated our own meals rather than go out even though the district felt safe.

It has a great location, it’s tastefully decorated, we got a welcome drink on arrival at the rooftop bar. We were early for check in, but they took our bags and placed them in our room while we were out. The room literally has everything you need for a comfortable stay

Our room, 501, had a bit of a weird entrance in the emergency exit stairs, but it wasn’t an issue.

Heino at the front desk gave me such a warm welcome and an excellent resturant suggestion. The roof top bar is beautiful. The rooms we so clean, execellent linen and just what you need.

The bathroom maybe needed a little maintence, and I didn't like that there was no drinking water availiable. I am not always fond of tap water, a 500ml bottle in the fridge would have been great.

Infelizmente o barulho nos atrapalhou bastante. O hotel fica localizado do lado de bares que aos finais de semana tocam música alta até tarde. Principalmente para o quarto virado para este lado da rua, da pra ouvir barulho bem alto. Fora isso, o hotel é ótimo e recomendamos a hospedagem!

Geweldig personeel dat zich enorm inzet voor je comfort. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ruime en moderne kamers van alle gemakken voorzien.

De locatie is uitstekend, maar het hotel is gelegen in de buurt van een luidruchtig cafe dat tot middernacht muziek draait. Neem oordopjes mee, dan is het hotel helemaal de moeite waard.

I unfortunately didn’t have the restful weekend stay I had hoped for. The noise from the venue directly opposite the hotel was incredibly loud and continued until after 4am. While the hotel did move me to another room after I raised the issue, I still ended up getting less than four hours of sleep over the entire weekend, which really defeated the purpose of booking a weekend away. I had stayed here previously on the fourth floor and had a much better experience, so I had no idea how significantly the noise level could differ depending on where your room is situated. I genuinely think this is something guests should be informed about when booking, particularly if they are being placed in rooms facing or close to the venue. Had I known beforehand, I would certainly have requested a room further away or on a higher floor. I appreciate that the noise itself is coming from an establishment outside of the hotel’s control, and I was grateful that the staff tried to accommodate me by moving me. However, the proximity and extent of the noise is something the hotel is aware of and, in my view, should be disclosed to guests so that they can make an informed choice about their stay.

The front desk staff were fantastic, easy smooth check in and out. The restaurant was excellent even allowing us to use it as a meeting venue when one of our suppliers offices was evacuated due to a fire. The roof top bar is so cute and the Aperol's were awesome. The rooms were well equipped with all the amenities and linen and furnishings were fab. We had a great stay.

The hotel is super well located. in front of the entrance you can find several pubs, restaurants and bar. there is a vivid night light surrounding. It is also nearby to many attractions, such as Bo-Kaap neighborhood.

there is no way you can park a car near to the hotel, you need to use a public parking lot and it is quite expensive, besides the trouble to move luggage around, the street of the hotel’s entrance is closed for cars, so you need to carry them on. my reservation has breakfast included but the guy at the reception told me it was not. I escalated to booking.com to solve that and booking.com told me that the hotel “didn’t know anything” - they could’ve been honest at least.

Hotel molto carino in una posizione ottima a pochi minuti a piedi dallo splendido quartiere di Bo Kap, direttamente nel centro storico,, affaccia sull'area pedonale, piena di ristoranti e caffè. Le camere sono spaziose e confortevoli, lo staff è super gentile e ti aiuta in tutto. Sul lato opposto dell'hotel c'è un garage a più piani, se necessario te lo prenotano loro, comodissimo!

We left again right after checking in because we weren’t allowed to use the roof terrace sitting area with our 9 year old, this wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the facilities description. I booked the hotel especially because of the terrace with the view, as most rooms have bad views (our room had a view of cars in a parking garage on the opposite side of the street). We canceled our stay and asked for a refund but the management refused to acknowledge our complain.

This Hotel is in the CBD of Cape Town and well located for young adults or couples. Its not quite a family friendly hotel in terms of parking and location during the evenings, but the staff was excellent. I travelled with three kids under five and they helped me to offload my car and park it for me at the off-site parking bay. They went out of their way to help me manage my kids. The two bedroom suite is very spacious and perfect for a family with the kitchen. This hotel is definitely value for money. If you are looking for a location close to nightlife, its perfect!

Our stay was great - it's just very noisy and we couldnt sleep with all the noise of the people that partied the hole nigth till 4 in the morning.

Expectations met and shattered. Welcomed by a charming hotel desk, I did not catch his name, but he took our bags to our room and even offered to act as concierge and went to park our car in the designated safe parking for the night. Brought the keys straight back to me as we were enjoying our complimentary beers at the rooftop bar. Clean room. Spacious. Cannot get a better location. Walking distance everywhere in the CBD.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, although the walls are a little thin, and the acoustics from the building travels quite far. you can hear people talking, showering and toilets flushing all through the night. The aircon is also fairly noisy and disruptive. But nothing that a R200 cocktail from the bar area can't fix. Had a few of those and slept well after that.

Poor sound insulation in the room. A lot of noises picked up from outside. The bar is ridiculously expensive.

The location is excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.

The extractor can set up for the bathroom makes the rooms extremely noisy especially as it cannot be turned off. A better sound proofed door for the bathroom would make a difference. Luckily the hotel staff gave me a different room without the extractor fan so it was much better for my last night.

Everything about this stay was extraordinary. The staff, the decor, the rooms, the service, the location - all A+. My husband got really sick on the second day we visited and the staff was so helpful in figuring out what to do and where we could stay for a few hours while we were figuring out his care and whether we could return home. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Loved the decor and vibe of this place, very nice for a cute getaway even as a South African just having a staycation in Cape Town. We booked on the day and called ahead to ask about the parking that has to be booked in advance, they were very helpful and the parking is super easy once you have the token from reception. We asked for a late check out the next morning and the staff was super accommodating since we had a late flight the next day. We had no issue with the noise from the bar across since the room has a double panel window and when you close both it blocks out most of the noise. The location is great. The staff were very friendly and even lent us a scale to weigh checked luggage. Also loved the complimentary drink at the rooftop bar on check in. Would definitely stay again!

Having the car while having to get the parking token is a bit difficult as street parking is restricted, but we just left someone in the car on a loading zone since it was a Saturday.
