Haveli Hauz Khas

This bed and breakfast is located in a really lovely area of Delhi, with lots of close-by shops and restaurants. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I love how the room has its own characteristics with carefully sought out furniture and decorations. The bed is comfortable and the wifi is very fast. Everything just works. There are also little gestures of care like providing you with a cup of tea or coffee upon arrival. They also kindly printed some documents for me and allowed for a later check-out. It is really easy to get to from the Hauz Khas Metro (convenient when you come from IGI airport terminal 1). The breakfast is simple but nice: choice of paratha and eggs, as well as muesli and good fruits and a wide selection of teas. I will definitely stay here again

The location of the hotel is extremely convenient. Hauz Khas is a nice neighborhood to visit and also to stay. The hotel is really beautiful like a photography museum. The staff is really helpful and accommodating. They organized for us a driver to go around Delhi, and we were super happy with the service. The breakfast is also good and you are close to other places where is possible to get good food. You might even see the flying foxes in the Hauz Khas village

An incredible place to stay in a quiet and safe area of Delhi. Huge comfortable rooms, the staff are fantastic and I particularly loved all the photography and decor. Highly recommended.

El alojamiento está situado en una zona bastante tranquila, lo que nos permitió dormir sin ruido los dos días que estuvimos. Tiene un bonito jardín y un comedor para los desayunos. Todo está muy bien decorado y tiene muy buen ambiente. Todo el personal super amable, sin excepción. Recibimos un trato magnífico. La zona parece que sea peligrosa si no estás acostumbrado y vienes de zonas más occidentales, pero en los dos días todos nos fue perfecto y no tuvimos ningún problema. Además, hablamos con otra persona que se hospedaba aquí y nos dijo que él volvía a las 3am y en ningún momento tuvo ningún altercado. Lo único que hay son perros callejeros, pero todos los que vimos ni ladraban. Tenía miedo de que fuera sucio el hotel, pero para nada. Las habitaciones no son lujosas, pero para dormir y desayunar más que de sobras. No tuvimos ningún problema durante el hospedaje. Otra cosa que me preocupaba eran los insectos y no vimos ninguno, así que, por ese aspecto fenomenal. Recomiendo este hotel por el trato que nos dieron y porque era limpio. La cama es grande, pero en sí la habitación no es de otro mundo. Sin embargo, nos gustó.

A place full of charm and inspiration, perfectly located close to the airport, you can get a driver and pick up at a very high level, the staff prepared a light meal for me on the go because I didn't have time to stay for breakfast, this is the second time I arrive, and every time I land in Delhi I will get there. Communication on WhatsApp is very available and easy, before and during the stay. Thank you to Andrew and the team.

A specially designed and rare place with collections of original photos and artifacts. The staff of the place is very helpful with everything, available 24/7. the location is in a pleasant and safe neighborhood, 5 minutes walk away there is a shopping center, cafes, banks to withdraw money. 5 minutes away by taxi is an entertainment and tourist area that is fun to walk around, and open until late at night. They sent me a shuttle to and from the airport, it was a perfect place to spend 2 nights in Delhi on the way to northern India. Highly recommend the place, I will come back again.

Staff were very kind and helpful, making sure that we knew where we were going and had what we needed. Breakfasts were lovely. It is a calm space in a dynamic city, with good access to a number of sites to visit. Alot of people watching can be done from here!

Just to clarify that everything was very clean. The decor was really interesting with artifacts from around North India, which was great. Only thing to work on is some of the bathrooms and paint work is a little tired. Not a biggie, we were there to explore, not to check out interiors!

The breakfast was very simple and homely, the staff especially Andrew was very helpful and delight overall. Rooms were clean and spacious great neighbourhood overall.

The smell that was redirected by the bathroom drain kept the bathroom smelling like sewage is definitely something that should be looked into.

The owner of the homestay is a writer and photographer traveler. There are many collectibles and books, quiet areas and residences, the service staff are very friendly, clean and tidy beds are very comfortable.

My husband and I loved Haveli Hauz Khas. It’s in a great neighborhood and not so far from the airport for early morning flights. The staff is so welcoming, the breakfast is delicious, and you can really tell the owner loves India and art by the decor. We stayed twice in one trip and will be back again.

Breakfast was good and the staff were lovely. I opted for evening dinner at the property which was great. My room was very spacious and nicely furnished. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Despite being in Delhi , the area is very quiet, clean and safe. I was travelling alone and the staff were very helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

The bedroom i had, looked onto another house, so it would have benefitted from net curtains for privacy. But otherwise the room was lovely.

If you want a calm and safe experience of Delhi stay here! It is located within a secure complex and I have never felt more relaxed walking the streets in india. The local area has so many bars and restaurants a short walk away. The breakfast was lovely and the staff so welcoming yet not overbearing. Our flight was delayed and they kept our bags for us all day (until 11pm!) Thank you so much

Haveli Hauz Khaz was beyond our expectations. It was such a unique place, the style of the building, all the artwork and antique furniture, make it a one of a kind place to stay in Delhi. The staff were so kind, welcoming amd helpful with all our requests and breakfast was delicious! Couldn’t recommend it more.

El lugar realmente se siente como estar en casa: los cuartos son amplios, cómodos y están impecablemente limpios. La ubicación es ideal, justo al lado de parques maravillosos y en una zona residencial muy segura. Como mujer viajando sola me sentí completamente tranquila caminando por el vecindario. La relación calidad-precio es insuperable. El desayuno es muy bueno y todo el personal es simplemente encantador. Sin duda, un lugar al que volveré.

It is a peaceful oasis in a busy city. The neighborhood is very walkable and has good transportation options. The staff are very helpful and considerate of the needs of the guests. The breakfast is simple (compared to the buffets at the large hotels here) but well prepared and fresh.

The hotel is very nice and traditionally furnished. The position is vey good and safe, close to the airport. The staff was very supportive. Our flight was very early in the morning, we left at midnight and at the moment of leaving they gave us a small breakfast to go.

Love everything: staff were exemplary before and during our visit. The rooms were spacious and very clean and hot water worked well. Breakfast was great and the dinner we requested was very good and well priced. We were able to vacate the room at midday which was very convenient. Location was good: close to a centre with restaurants, ATMs and coffee shops

I wouldn’t complain about anything

Loved our stay at Haveli. It is our first time in India so this place was our first experience of Indian hospitality and we were not disappointed. Our room was large, the beds were very comfortable, we had ac and fan in our room. The staff were the highlight, so friendly and diligent. They went above and beyond on our every request, from tea and biscuits in the room, helping us order food delivery, breaking down our cash notes for small change for tuk tuk rides, to setting us up with a fantastic local companion/guide to take us through the markets. Everytime you leave or enter the accommodation everyone stops to say hello or goodbye. Location is perfect too, a really safe, relatively quiet, leafy, securely gated neigbourhood. Plenty of cafes and restaurants walking distance - highly recommend Nukkad. We picked this place because of the high rating and i would encourage anyone else to do the same!!!

Everything was wonderful, my only small notes are: Just to be aware that the accommodation is not sound proof and you will hear all conversation/movement outside and around your room. Just bring ear plugs if you go to sleep early or wake up late and might be disturbed by that It would be nice to have a luggage stand/another small table in the room for our belongings, or a bigger wardrobe. We are two friends with each a backpack and a small carryon who stayed for 4 nights and we had to have a lot of our things on the floor because they would not fit in the wardrobe. The shower/bathroom does flood (I don't know about rooms other than ours) after being on for 2 - 3 minutes.

Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Selbst als wir etwas früher frühstücken wollten, war es kein Problem. Wir waren 2x hier aufgrund der guten Erfahrung. Das Viertel ist verhältnismäßig sauber und ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück ist wirklich sehr lecker und zu empfehlen. Das Hotel ist sehr stilvoll indisch eingerichtet und versprüht einen angenehmen Flair. Auch die Anreise mitten in der Nacht ist überhaupt kein Problem.

Ein Föhn ist nicht im Zimmer. Haben allerdings auch nicht nachgefragt, ob es einen vor Ort gibt.

My flight got cancelled last minute and I booked a room at the Haveli BnB for the night. I arrived around 10:30 pm and was immeditaley shown to my room. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The morning breakfast was delicious. I requested a late check out and the manager graciously accepted. Neighborhood is very green and quiet. 7 min walk to SDA market.

We're two female friends from Spain and Italy and we had a fantastic stay at Haveli Hauz Khas. We felt comfortable and safe and staff was very very kind with us. The room and common spaces were clean and decorated with great taste. Breakfast was delicious - we went for the Indian options, aloo paratha and poha and we loved them. Floor in bedroom was not very clean but when asked the staff mopped it very quickly.

Staffs are very courteous. Excellent location, clean rooms. Dinner was excellent and like home food.

Upkeep of facility, ex. Bathroom door, windows not locking properly, no provision for ironing, plug points are not ok and comfortable. Complementary Breakfast is very normal. Very good stay but not complete value for the tariff paid

Beautiful energy! Very homey, safe and boutique hotel. I loved the decorations, and enjoyed having breakfast in the common area each morning. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Supported me with a very early airport departure.

My room was quite dark and there was some personal clothing in the closet. Staff recommended a horrible massage place. I stayed one night in the Studio and the spiral staircase was very steep.

We liked the location very much - quiet and clean, you value this in particular after the loud Old Delhi. The room and the bathroom were spacious. The staff was polite.

Do not expect a 4-star hotel of European standard. There was no hair dryer, no refrigerator, no bar, no safe.

This was the best place to spend my last night in Delhi. Same price as a 4 star airport hotel but so much nicer and felt homely. They very kindly organised a packed breakfast for me as I had an early flight and shared with me some home cooked Dahl and rice for dinner as I couldn’t leave the hotel for dinner and was having issues connecting my credit card to the local delivery app (and had no cash left). Was so appreciated for a starving traveller!

Quaint hotel in quiet neighborhood. Might feel a little isolated because have to walk to restaurants but uber ap made easy to get a tuktuk. Breakfast was great. Service and staff were excellent. Laundry was efficient and good. Facilities clean. Our 5 th time in Delhi and by far our best hotel and location. Will stay again if ever come back to Delhi.

Room was dark. Red walls and not much natural light, made it cave-like. Window looked across to neighbors apt. Would have preferred the yellow or green room with bigger windows.

A lovely house in the leafy Haus Khas area. The location is very close to Haus Khas Village and the Deer Park. There are several nice parks and a market nearby. The rooms are comfortable, with good facilities. The property is an authentic homestay, with the owners’ resident at the house. There is a very good common area for relaxing. The staff are exceptional. They assisted us and looked after us very well. The owner has published books on India’s people and architecture from all over India. The house is richly decorated with many of his photos.

I really felt at home and look forward to returning. Located in a quiet part of Delhi. The staff were very friendly. In particular, Andrew was outstanding!

I’ve got served by friendly and helpful staffs, and the room is clean and cozy. The neighborhood is quite safe and close to quite a few main attractions. The food here is great and its dinner is value for money.

The Haveli Hauz Khas is an absolute gem of a place and we adored our stay here. It is brimming with charm, character, antique furniture and collectibles. We arrived early in the morning and we were greeted with happiness and kindness. After enjoying a delicious masala chai we had a delicious breakfast in the antique filled atmospheric dining area. I appreciated greatly having the Times of India paper to read too. Our room was a generous size and spotlessly clean. Wow…the bed and the pillow. One of the most comfy in all my fifteen trips to India. It was like sleeping on a cloud. We had a delicious home cooked vegetarian meal at night prepared on site for a very reasonable cost. But the best thing about the Haveli is the friendly and attentive staff. They were so kind, helpful and always greeted us with a smile. We enjoyed meeting Teji too. Andrew helped us so well with all our needs and booked two taxis for us which we appreciated. Thank you Haveli Hauz Khas. We’ll be back.
