Absolutely fantastic! A hidden gem in Ella. Located just as you enter Ella this hotel is nestled in trees and perched on the edge of the mountain, this means you’re away from the hustle and bustle of the town and you get to wake up to one of the lost incredible views from your balcony.

Mega Ausblick auf Ella rock vom Zimmer und der Dachterasse beim Frühstücken. Frühstück lecker und ausreichend. Personal sehr freundlich, haben uns günstig Weiterfahrt nach Tangalle vermittelt. Fussläufig alles erreichbar! Zimmer einfach und sauber. Preis-Leistung richtig gut!

The view from the rooms and terrace is amazing. Staff and breakfast were impeccable. The hotel is in a calm and relaxing spot while remaining at a 5 min walking distance from main restaurants and shops. Recommended for the great money for value.

The hotel could you small fixing here and there (e.g power socket, water pressure etc…). Mind that there is quite a lot of stairs that might be problematica for people with walking issue.

המיקום ממש טוב! ממש כמה דק הליכה מהרחוב הראשי . נוף מטורף מהחדר! הצוות היה ממש אדיב ונחמד - כל דבר שהיינו צריכים מיד באו לעזור. החדר היה נקי , ביקשו עוד מאורר והביאו לנו.

Najpiękniejsze są widoki z tarasu, śniadanie z widokiem na góry jest niezwykłym doznaniem. Przemili ludzie, rano do śniadania świeży sok z papaji,.. Świetna lokalizacja, blisko do centrum tętniącego życiem nocnym. Polecam mino drobnych wad😉

Łazienka była tragiczna, ale jedną noc można było przymknąć oko😉

Bardzo sympatyczny i dobrze życzący właściciel. Widać, że zależy mu aby każdy czuł się dobrze zaopiekowany. Tak też było w naszym przypadku. Bardzo fajne śniadanie, pożywne i świetne świeże soki. Widok z tarasu na którym podawane są posiłki jest wyjątkowy. Na tarasie można również skorzystać z „baru” wieczornego, ale my nie mieliśmy okazji z powodu innych planów. W pokoju była dostępna drewniana suszarka na ubrania, co było pomocne. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja.

Łazienka nie była zła, ale przydałoby się odświeżenie. Pokój wyglądał lepiej.

The rooms were clean and neat. We had a very nice view from the porch. The breakfast was simple but tasty. The service was very good , they helped us with all we have asked.

No ac, but note they had lots of fans so it was comfortable. A lot of stairs could be an issue for some. Staff help with luggage so that isn’t an issue.

החדרים ישנים ולא מרגישים נקיים

Un lloc on poder estar prop del centre, però amb tranquilitat, lluny dels locals de música. Molt bon esmorzar, vistes espectaculars. L'habitació de davant de recepció era espaiosa i amb balcó (has de tancar-lo pels micos quan estàs fora de l'habitació).

Les escales per arribar no són adequades per tothom, tampoc les internes per pujar al lloc d'esmorzar. La resta fenomenal.

Nice people who were helpful and thoughtful, breakfast was cheap and very very big. The location is incredible! The view here is one of the best we had in Sri Lanka of Ella rock. Some stairs to get in but it’s worth it once you get there it’s so peaceful! Value for money for a room with 2 double beds is insane!!!

Las instalaciones. Sucias, viejas, sin mantenimiento. Se cayeron las maderas de cama y quedó hundida. La ducha solo funcionaba bien el grifo grande. La wifi no va bien.

The location was just 200 meters from the main Ella street. Breakfast quantity wad fabulous and the staff was very accommodating to requests. The view from the room and the restaurant balcony was amazingly beautiful

The path to the hotel involves a significant number of stairs. so it may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues or anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs

The staffs are very nice and helpful.

The location is very convenient and close to the city. However, the entrance road is not in great condition, and there was often an unpleasant smell around the property, possibly from a nearby drain. We stayed for two nights, but the room was not cleaned on the second day. There is also no dedicated parking available. Overall, it was an okay stay, and a few improvements in these areas would make the experience much better.

there is stair has to go for hotel from main road sometimes its hard to take that path in night time. door locks are bit old. tea coffee machines or minibar not in the room.

Ik begrijp niet waarom deze accommodatie zo hoog scoort. Bij aankomst werd mij verteld dat ik alleen contant kon betalen. Dat was geen probleem, maar achteraf zag ik op Booking.com dat mijn verblijf als geannuleerd/no-show was geregistreerd, waardoor ik mogelijk opnieuw moet betalen. Daarnaast hebben mijn man en ik de hele nacht niet geslapen door ernstige jeuk. Mijn man zat de volgende ochtend onder de rode bultjes, wat sterk wijst op bedwantsen. Er was niemand bij de receptie aanwezig om dit te melden of om schone lakens te vragen. Als klap op de vuurpijl was er alleen ijskoud water in de douche. Ik schrijf niet graag negatieve reviews, maar als er geprobeerd wordt mij dubbel te laten betalen, dan vind ik dat toekomstige gasten de waarheid mogen weten.

Good value for money with comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location within walking distance of Ella Town.

However, the hotel is accessed via narrow and steep concrete stairs from the main road, with no direct vehicle access. Guests with their own vehicles must park on Ella Main Road, where parking is not always guaranteed. Best suited for travelers arriving by public transport, tuk-tuk, or taxi. Not recommended for families with babies, elderly guests, or anyone with mobility difficulties.

Die Lage ist wirklich super, das Frühstück sehr lecker, das Personal sehr nett und natürlich der grandiose Ausblick.

Die Zimmer eigentlich komplett. Sauberkeit kann man bei dem Alter der Zimmer nicht mehr umsetzen. An den Wänden ist Schimmel und Flecken. Türen schließen nicht richtig dadurch Geckos im Zimmer. Keine Klima. Hellhörig, im Bad sogar einfach ein offenes „Fenster“ (eher einfach ein Loch) zum Flur. Dusche kaum einzustellen; es kommt aus allen Hähnen gleichzeitig. Komisches Sammelsurium an Einrichtung.

This was a great stay a few minutes walk from Ella town centre. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the room had an amazing view. We also got a great breakfast which we loved!

This property could not be better positioned- absolutely amazing views of Ella Rock from each room and the rooftop terrace, and a <5 minute walk into town. Rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast made by Danni (with amazing views) was the best start to our day. Highly recommended.

The view is spectacular and the location is ideal - short walk from the main town. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and the staff were all very lovely!

Views made the difficult access worth it. Breakfast was good but very little choice. We could use the lovely ( views) dining terrace in the evening but there was no service but we did get a lovely pot of tea one evening. We daren't risk the horrendous stairs at night as we had little children and elderly with us. Staff were great at helping with all bags and the buggy. Not really suitable for elderly or those with small children.

Difficult access via uneven stone steps. Also many uneven flights of steps within building. Shower pressure almost a dribble.

Great location about 300m from downtown Ella, easy walk but far enough to avoid the city noise. Wonderful view of Ella Rock from the room with balcony overlooking the valley. Good breakfast included, on top floor with a view. Comfy bed. Constant entertainment by monkeys running by.

L'hôtel est original. Une terrasse en toiture couverte nous accueille pour le breakfast devant une superbe vue sur le rocher de Ella et la chaine de montagnes du centre de l'ile. Le personnel est très serviable. Très bien situé

L'entrée de l'hôtel est excentré par rapport à la route et le personnel doit porter les bagages sur une série d'escalier jusqu'à l'hôtel.

This property was absolutely amazing in all regards. The room was spacious, and the balcony overlook the most stunning view. The location couldn’t be better. It’s in town but more at the start of town so it’s away from all the noise. All you hear are birds chirping. It’s so peaceful even better. It came with breakfast. That was absolutely wonderful. I couldn’t even eat that much food I really enjoyed this place. I found the people running it to be incredibly kind, soft spoken, and attentive.

Mooie locatie je moet wel flink een aantal traptreden lopen om binnen te komen. Heerlijk ontbijten on the toproof. Fijn balkon om lekker te zitten en bij te komen. Eigen badkamer met warme douche. Op een paar minuten loop afstand van de stad.

Top Blick auf den Ella Rock! Super zentral und trotzdem relativ ruhig. Die Unterkunft liegt mit etwas Abstand neben der Straße. Tagsüber hört man etwas die Busse und LKW, aber nachts ist es sehr ruhig.

La chambre était convenable, le restaurant en rooftop avec une belle vue : le petit déjeuner copieux. rien â redire. Si ce n est l emplacement en bord de route et la descente par des escaliers et remontée pour atteindre l hôtel. En plus des marches pour aller sur les 2 points d intérêt de ls ville. Heureusement que les bagages sont pris en charge par le personnel.

Quiet very clean and lovely staff

We had an incredible experience with a group of 13, and the staff took exceptional care of every single one of us. Almost every room offers a stunning mountain view, and the location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center. The complimentary breakfast was also a highlight—absolutely delicious! What truly set them apart was their honesty and helpfulness. One of our friends accidentally left their wallet behind; the staff found it, called us immediately, and even couriered it to our next stop. Such amazing, polite, and friendly people. Don't hesitate to book here!

La chambre était vétuste. Très peu d’eau dans la douche et pas chaude. Pas de gel douche ou shampooing seulement 2 petits savons. Pas de sèche cheveux, salle de bain très vieille et odeur de moisi. Nous ne recommandons pas du tout cet établissement il est très facile de trouver un meilleur rapport qualité/prix, à fuir nous sommes très déçus pour une note booking de 8/10.

I had a wonderful stay with my family at this hotel. The hotel was spotless, beautifully maintained, and located in a great area close to the center city and the Nine Arches bridge The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was very friendly and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. We truly felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant experience.
