Very little wardrobe space in our room and it was directly above a noisy main road.

Great location, just outside the centre but whithin walking distance. Bathroom was spacious. Friendly staff at breakfast.

The entire b&b needs to be updated. It is very outdated and feels dirty with stains on the carpet and wallpaper coming off the walls. The bed was small, noise from outside was very loud. Curtains let a lot of light through.

The location was excellent. A copule of mins walk to the heart of betws y coed. The room was clean and adequate. We stayed in the rooms outside of the main B & B. The room was nice and inviting. The main building was a bit dated but we felt we got value for money. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. Overall we enjoyed our weekend stay. Breakfast was nice and we were given a choice of what we wanted to eat.

We didn't realise we would be accommodated in a room outside of the main building. The main building was dated and could do with touching up a bit, but otherwise, no complaints. It served a purpose for a couple of nights.

De accommodatie ligt aan de rand van het plaatje, waardoor je niet middenin de drukte zit, maar wel snel in het centrum bent.

Het was niet erg schoon. Het was in het algemeen ook verouderd en zag er gewoon niet fris uit.

Its good for short stay

Lage sehr schön am Flüsschen Llugwy, sehr nah an einer Bushaltestelle. Bett sehr bequem, Frühstückbuffet sehr gut. Jeden Tag wurde das Zimmer gereinigt.i Ich konnte meinen Koffer nach dem Auschecken noch bis abends dort sicher stehenlassen.

Ich konnte beim Abholen des Koffers keine Toilette mehr benutzen.

We had a lovely clean room with a great view over the road and out to the river. The breakfast was great and staff lovely.

The place is a little bit run down, but it didn't affect our stay.

The location was excellent and very convenient, with good parking facilities available, which made our stay hassle-free. The breakfast was another highlight—it was fresh, tasty, and had a good variety of options. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would happily recommend this place.

The property was in a really convenient location, just on the edge of town center only 5-6 minute walk. The owner Lee and her daughter were extremely nice and helpful. This place was exceptional value compared to every other accommodation option in the area. The room was very comfortable. Also appreciated the free breakfast in the morning.

The communal area requires renovation, specifically addressing the doors and walls within that space.

This location cannot be beat. It's a 5 minute walk to the shops and 10 minutes from the bus stops and train station. The views are gorgeous.

These rooms have no sound insulation at all. If you're sensitive to sound and get unlucky it will be extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately for me the couple below were talking until 12am during my stay. Not to mention the birds nest that is possibly in the rafters outside the window of the room. Additionally, these rooms don't have great air flow or AC. Very hot nights.

The ceilings and walls were super thin and we were woken Up and kept awake by upstairs people walking around and snoring which is a shame as the beds are super comfy .

* No issues with dampness or musty smell, unlike some reviews have reported. Maybe the other single room had this issue. * Comfortable bed and good soundproofing. Enough space for clothes and plenty for personal items. Ensuite bathroom with towels and toiletries provided. * Great location: Bus stop (T10 and S1) a stone's throw away. Town center with plenty of outdoor stores, pubs and restaurants within ~5min on foot. * Good breakfast, served 8-9:30am with a few cooked options to choose from. Continental basics (bread, cereal, yogurt, butter, jam) are also available in case you need to leave early or have overslept. * No issues with the room being too cold or hot, either. The thermostat head worked just fine.

* A second power socket next to the bedside table would have been nice. There were more in the room, just none right next to the bed. * Some room keys (including the one I got) have oversized key tags that are hard to fit in a pocket. * Passersby on the opposite side of the road can see into the room, so the windows could use some frosted film on the lower 3rd or half of their height. * The floor was noticeably not level (sloping up away from the door and towards the window) but I guess that's par for the course in an old building. Gave me mild vertigo at first but I got used to it by the next evening and it didn't bother me at all

The views where nice, and the breakfast was adequate.

The property is in need of an update, and more staff to help Miss Lee, as she seemed rushed off her feet and seemed the only staff member there.

Probably the best staying in the area

It was quite decent, the owner Mrs Lee prepared it very well and last but not the least, it was well served by her daughter.

Unfortunately the fridge was not working. however, they did try to accommodate us with their own for temporary time.

Amazing place and well-maintained room

Lee was really friendly and provided a great breakfast. Perfect to fill up on before a long day ahead. The bed was very comfortable. The free parking right outside room was handy

It is a little dated inside and out but clean and great value for money. If you want a perfect hotel this isnt for you but if you want to support a small family business this is perfect. The room (14) overlooks the road so you can hear the traffic. The bathroom was very small and the shower pressure was low

Had a nice view of the park

The photos were definitely taken a long time ago. The carpets were incredibly dirty and the wall lights were falling out. With all our stays, Wifi was free but here you had to pay for it and we couldn’t even get that working.

När vi öppnade dörren slogs vi av en mögeldoft. Rummen var ok, fräscha badrum. Endast ägarinnan som jobbade där vilket innebar lång väntan på frukost. Full English breakfast var bra.

It was based just where we wanted to be. The bed was comfortable

Everywhere felt damp, the carpet felt damp when we arrived, the the bed clothes felt damp. The shower cubicle leaked. When we went for breakfast the bench felt damp, I put a napkin under my bottom and when I got up it was partially wet and it wasn’t from me. The sugar is the bowl was damp. We could actually make a sugar castle from it if we tried. We ordered a toasted bacon and egg sandwich and then then was confused when all we got was egg and bacon on a plate and told to toast the bread ourselves. On the second morning we noticed signs of damp on the walls in the breakfast area. As someone with asthma the dampness has caused a few issues now I’m home I have a sore throat and tight chest. I wouldn’t advise staying here

Fantastic location and view! The host was friendly. The TV worked well, and the shower water was hot enough for a comfortable shower. Comfortable bed!

Cleanness :( Without AC, the room became stuffy with the window closed, but traffic noise made it difficult to sleep with the window open. The bedding did not appear freshly changed, the carpet was dirty, there were no towels despite the listing, and the breakfast quality was so poor.

Room was ok. Beds were comfortable. Was clean Bteakfast was good. Apart from walking backwards and forwards from our table, for sugar, milk, sauces. The tea and coffee comes to the table. Sugar and milk is over the other side. You have to do your toast the other side too, hoping to time it when your breakfast comes

There was an old towel hanging on the curtain rail the whole time we were there. Curtains were not attached properly, hanging off. Noise from upstairs The creaking, banging, sounded like they were falling through the ceiling

Great location near “Betsy”. Just at the edge of town, so never too loud with passers by etc. Most reasonably priced accommodation I found when booking a fairly last minute trip. Breakfast was good. Tea and coffee in the room so could get an early morning brew. Parking on site or very close by.

Nothing really. The room was under another in an annex, so the upstairs guests could be heard moving around. Not a problem for us, but might be for others. Road noise was quite prominent.

Breakfast was great, and with good choice. Room and hotel were a bit run down with some decoration needed, but overall very comfortable and quite charming in its own way. Location is superb overlooking the river

The room was clean, the shower was really good after a full days hiking.. i kept going into the shower room to brush my teeth forgetting the sink was actually in the bedroom, real 80s

My room was situated roadside, was a bit noisy with the cars, etc breakfast starts a bit late (8:30am), which can be inconvenient for early hikers.

Mrs Lee is amazing! She was so accommodating, friendly and made the most delicious breakfast!

The only tiny issue we had was that the shower could have been slightly cleaner

Zodra je buiten staat is het uitzicht prachtig en zijn de wandelpaden dichtbij.

De eerste nacht verbleven we in een kamer waar de douche niet werkte, de dag erna gelukkig een andere kamer gekregen. Vanuit de kamer kon je alleen goed naar buiten kijken als je vlakbij het raam ging zitten.

The property was well located at one end of the village and so within walking distance of all amenities. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and definitely what was needed for a walking holiday. Lee the host was a lovely lady and was extremely helpful. There is a beautiful view across the road to a field of sheep and lambs and the river.

The property was cold as it was a stone built inn. When the radiator in the bedroom came on the room was warm enough but only just. The breakfast room was particularly chilly. Unfortunately, the property is on a very busy road and the noise of the traffic was constant. However, I did manage to sleep well as the bed was comfortable.

The location. Its conveniently located from multiple attractions. Has parking right in front of your room. Serves breakfast. Lee is helpful and addresses concerns.

I feel Lee is short of staff. She manages most of the things at the property. She is effcieint but probably would benefit from help. Our toilet had a leak and was smelling. But toor short a notice to have someone come and sort it out. At breakfast, they ran out of white bread but there wasnt any extra bread available which i found a bit weird.when asked, she said she didnt have any and that they dont stock extras.

Breakfast was nice, Lee the hostess was lovely, 7/10 minute walk into town. Lots of options for food. View was beautiful.

I dont like giving negative comments, particularly as I had a single room which was in the older part of the buildings but the bed was very uncomfortable, old mattress, there was a smell from the bathroom, carpet needed a good clean, sink had a large crack. Was cold the first night even though days were very warm. Just not a very comfortable stay.

Very comfortable room, friendly welcome and good communication, tasty breakfast in the morning. Great location with nice pubs and restaurants in the village and 30 seconds from the bus stop with links all over Eryri/Snowdonia and to Bangor.

Shower wasn't very hot but it worked fine otherwise.

The location was good, a short walk to the village centre. The view from the room was pretty.

The property is dishevelled and had an unpleasant damp smell. The room had a stained carpet and was very cold, with a radiator that was only vaguely warm for a few hours a day. The room hadn't been properly cleaned, for example there was a thick curly hair on the toilet cistern. There was no hand soap in the bathroom so we used one of the four tiny bottles of shower gel that were provided. One of the key reasons we chose the place was for the cooked breakfast - when we checked in we said we'd like a cooked breakfast but we were not told the breakfast times, so on the first morning we headed down for 9.30 as that seemed reasonable, but there was no staff in the dining area. I went and found the owner, only to be told the kitchen closed at 9.30 (a couple of minutes ago) so we could only have toast, cereal etc. On the second morning we got down earlier and got a cooked breakfast, which was small, with one piece of bacon, one sausage, but a very long human hair in mine as a bonus.

The owner is wonderful and the breakfast space and extras in room are so lovely. Of course it’s an incredibly old and historic building, but so much of the decor is very rundown. It is extremely well priced and a wonderful breakfast every morning. Exactly what we needed for a couple nights and right near the entrance to all of the best hiking trails.
