What an incredible quaint little space. Perfect for a quick getaway! The hosts are so welcoming and friendly. Really went out of their way. Even had amazing welcoming muffins, yum yum.

It's rare to have a lovely stay and a lovely host. We had both. Exceptional hosts. I wanted to book again but the place was already booked. For a couple. Or solo traveller. Im glad I chose to stay there. It will be my go to place for future. Hopefully I was the type guest they'd love to host :) If you're from Durban. The cold takes some getting used to. They have a built in heater to compensate in the bedroom which helped. But the stay went without fault. They exceed their 9.2 rating.

Great place to stay and unwind a very special place

It was just a amazing place to spend my honeymoon I don't think I could off picked a better place very clean and modern and it was just a great place to stay the owner was very helpful from the beginning to end

Our hosts, Lorna and Phil, went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. They were very friendly and really went the extra mile to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The flat is spacious, neat and comfortably furnished and well equipped. We will most definitely recommend and use Urban lodge to any visitors looking for affordable accommodation in Howick.

The natural environment was lovely. The woodwork and finishing in and around the guesthouse were amazing. Lorna and Phil's reception and interactions were really wonderful. The fact that everything guests require in a kitchen and bedroom was at hand. We were even informed about items we left behind which we fortunately could recover. Lorna could guide us through the essential attractions in Howick which were highly appreciated.

It was an eye-opening experience to have met hosts like Lorna and Phil. The only regret was to leave them.

An uncluttered, very clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable space.

Attention to detail in the little things, premium coffee, fresh milk and muffins ready for us. Clean and tidy rooms and bathroom. Choice of shower or bath. A quiet environment yet close to the highway enabling us to reach our various destinations quickly and easily. Lastly the hosts warm response towards accommodating an early arrival so that we could change inoe our required attire.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Probably the best place we have stayed in within an urban environment.

Lorna assisted with our early arrival as we had an early luncheon party, such a great help. Her & Phil were most obliging Have spread the word with our Howick friends of this super very new place.

It was very clean and homely, Host was friendly and accommodating.

Lorna & Phil are very warm, welcoming and friendly. They are attentive and constantly checking in to see if there are additional needs of their guests. The accomodation was clean, comfortable and felt like 'home'. Great location with easy access to shops, town centre and the freeway.

It was a wonderfully positive experience.

I liked how clean it was, that we received hot chocolate and nougat, and that the accommodation had a Netflix account.

Only observation was no oven, which is absolutely fine for a short stay.

We loved the accommodation. It was clean, neat, spacious, and private. The little garden was well maintained, and the patio was a welcome space to sit out on in the evening. The hostess was friendly and very welcoming. We highly recommend this accommodation and would be happy to return. Thank you.

Nice size, clean and modern inside. Only stayed 1 night but could easily stay for multiple nights, it is very liveable. Excellent value for money.

Clean, modern and very comfortable. Lorna + Phil are so warm and welcoming. Best Bran Muffins on arrival. Milk & water in the fridge too. We felt safe, and fell in love with the dogs.

It was comfortable, clean and friendly. It was well situated for our needs.

There was a sulphur smell to the water on the second night.

The flat was spotless+so cozy yet more than spacious enough for 2 people+the hosts Lorna+Phil were so friendly from the moment we arrived. The little personal touches of chocolates, bottled water+milk in the fridge was highly appreciated. The unit was tastefully decorated+I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone needing a Howick stayover. The fans were great as it was quite hot. Thank you Lorna+Phil for your hospitality!

Nothing, it was perfect!

I liked the fact that it was clean and with great facilities like the Android TV and access to the patio on the garden.

but was thrown off by the fact that we didn't have hot water on the last night, and on the morning we had to departure we didn't have hot water to bath with. Taking into consideration my asthma condition having to take a bath with cold water was impossible. Another thing we had to enquire about the hot water but was told we only had 20 minutes to leave of which we were very much aware of since we did mention we'll check out at 10 o'clock. Overall it started off as a great weekend and ended in a cold cold shower.
