All within expectations

False fire alarm in the wee hours of the night and no initiative by staff to extend guest for late check out despite giving them the feedback that sleep was interrupted as evacuation was done for safety.

The property has easy access to the Paradigm Mall.

The key tag is not sensitive to access the digital lock into the apartment. One needs to glide the tag a few times to unlock. There are no hangers for guests to hang their clothes in the rooms.

Big room

The apartment was well laid out and comfortable. It has a great location, right above Paradigm Mall. East access to shops, F&B and facilites including cinemas, ice rink and archery range.

Vehicle access to the mall on weekends is terrible so if you plan to go out, try to get back to the area at non-peak shopping times as the traffic jam outside the mall is at a virtual standstill especially on weekend afternoons. Try to check out early as well as the lifts are very busy between 10-11am.

Room 14-11 no mirror at all!! Which is diabolical hahaha Hopefully they will put a small mirror. When we enter the house, there is a smell.

Room was clean. having 1 toilet per room was great. big beds. i love the apartment concept anyday better then hotel. the front desk staff are super helpful. i love the proximity to paradiogm mall. its just above it, accessible from level 2 or something beside the cat cafe. its just sooo convenient cuz no need car la, dont care about buffet breakfast all, u can always go and eat at oriental kopi or ya salam for solid breakfasts. its just a great place for a getaway for singaporeans la

The toilet seat was detached from the bowl and the toilet was smelly and very poor ventilation.

Location is great - integrated with Paradigm shopping ctr. Great for families/groups. Was worried about toilet smell (based on other reviews of the building) but no such issues at my unit.

The glass canopy outside the main lobby is under repair - seems dangerous to be waiting for ride standing beside that area. Feedback - Host did not provide any tissue paper box (only provided toilet rolls). Maybe shower area can put in a draw curtain & rubber mat to minimise water splashes.

Everything was perfect & the mall was just right below. Easy access to shops.

We like the location of the apartment, convenient and easy access to food and groceries. We changed to The Platinol on 1st day due to spoilt aircon. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a mahjong room and also pool table.

We booked 3 rooms apartment. 2 guest rooms aircon were not working. Both were blowing hot air, and kid was not able to nap in. We requested for a change of apartment or refund. Eventually we changed to another block (The Platinol), which turned out great. Although it is slightly far from the Paradigm mall but at least aircon was working.

for family of 6, It's cheaper to stay in one apartment. comfortable especially when you have young children. easy access to Paradigm Mall itself. swimming and indoor playground.

As it is my first time staying in the residence. no local channel to watch. Netflix must sign in account, which I don't have but its ok. location to discard our rubbish is unclear.

High floor

For guests, recommended to pay cash fr deposit. DO NOT TRANSFER. The management claimed 3 days will process the amt, but I had to ask on e 5-6th day and they then said problems transferring, coz of bank issues. And they transferred only on the 7th day. Thing is, they didn't even bother to remind me or inform me.i had to chase for my own deposit. If I didn't, it could have been overlooked or forgotten. Management needs to do better upkeep for these situations. Wo deposit, they will not give U the locker pin. So want money need fast! Return money, need to ask for them. Not nice ah.

I like the location, the cleanliness

I have booked this many, many times and I think they changed management. It was horrible to deal with this new one. All the communication was through automated messages and it took forever to get a REAL person to get to me and resolve our issues. First, they didn't include the car park access tag, so it was a lot of trouble getting into the car park and when I asked, they said the previous guest had lost it , and promised to get it replaced the next day...but what's the point! Cos we were already leaving the next day. It was sooooo inconvenient getting in and out of the car park and their reply was quite irresponsible. It was such a painful time dealing with this management

Great location as its within the mall, Although you have to experienced the jam of the mall before entering to the residence carpark. The apartment was ok and big - good enough for a family of 4. We also enjoyed the facilities

The room was not as nice as on the picture, it was very white and cold in terms of design. The Bed was not super comfy either.

Prime location. Connected to Paradigm mall. Convenient to find food and grocery shop. Also quite a centralized location and easy to get to other places. Room was spacious and relatively clean. Security was tight, lift was quite fast, and facilities like the gym and pool were beneficial.

- wifi was extremely slow. could not even hold a connection. - big apartment with 3 rooms but only 1 TV? - TV had NOTHING to watch. was told to use my own netflix account. dont even have local channels. a complete waste of space. remove the TV if you're not going to put any channels on it and get guests to use their own accounts. - one of the toilet sinks was clogged Overall, quite a bad experience. For the price point, one could have easily stayed in a proper hotel where the basic facilities and services would be much better. Apart from the nice pool, gym, and relatively clean rooms, it feels like a glorified prison.

Clean, comfortable for me n my family but the most I love is the hooks that are provided in the toilet. Makes my life so much easier to hang stuffs. Thats awesome!

1. There is only 1 card access to be shared among all. Anyone needs to go back to the apartment must get the access card from another person. Furthermore, the opening of the lobby door from inside also requires card acess instead of press-button. So each time we must be accompanied by another person holding the card access to go down if someone still wants to stay inside the apartment. Please work on improving the access or use PIN code. 2. Quality if Fork snd spoon is very thin. It gets bent easily.

Location superb, the cleanliness and view are great. Room size are good.

Err, sometimes staff take sometime to reply the questions, can be improved a little bit.

Connected directly to Paradigm Mall via UG Level. It was awesome.

While I wish I could describe the accom as clean and perfect, I had to dock points off due to the toilet. Apartments in Johor Bahru tend to have the sewage smell. The accom tried to mask it with freshener but to no avail as once you are inside the toilet, you could smell it.

The location above Paradigm Mall is convenient with straight access. The apartment and swimming pool look clean.

The lift lobby from our designated parking lot is far. They should assigned parking lots nearer the lobby because the parking lot itself looks gloomy and creepy when you return late at night and have to walk all the way to the lobby.

The 200 ringgit cash security deposit felt kinda bummer as you need to transfer the deposit prior check in.. no credit card option.. the water heater is not hot enough

Cleanliness of the unit. There were worms crawling in the bathroom. Although the staff sent the cleaning team, problems were not eradicated. The unit looks totally different from the photos posted. It's disappointing!

Check in and out was seamless and fast. By far the easiest compared to the other apartments we’ve stayed before. It was connected to the mall and easily accessible. Only thing was the initial comms for check in had some delays (not sure if it’s due the peak season volume). Other than that the whole stay was great. Unit was clean and the sheets were really clean too.

The curb for separating the kitchen and laundry is quite sharp. The edges should be rounded or can make a small ramp. So as to prevent any injuries such as cuts on the feet if step on the curb hard.

Instructions on how to checkout could be clearer. We thought we needed the card to tap out of the car park so we did not return the key until we drive out of car park. We had to circle back to the lobby area to return the card key.

Did not check in eventually and decided to forfeit the stay after payment. Understand the policy to place a deposit prior to checking in. However, do not like the idea that a group chat is set up with 10 other people whom I don’t know asking personal details such as bank account/ vehicle no/ ID etc Too many scams these days and there is no guaranteed that your personal info are not misused. At least if there’s a pay now for deposit/refund, this would certainly help alleviate potential misuse of your bank account. Will definitely give this a miss even though location is convenient with the mall under stairs. Would rather travel to get a piece of mind.

The master toilet shower area pipe was leaking so badly, causing the whole toilet and master room damp and smelly all the time. The TV connection was also bad and unable to watch normal TV program.

Amenities were good.

Exhaust fan in toilet was linked with the light switch, therefore, the fan can't be turned off if the room is too cold to bath.

This is our 3rd staycation with RR JBCity at Paradigm Residences. Very clean and good size 3bedroom apt. Had a back view of the JB horizon. Systematic check in and out process. Hassle free.

Apartment paling okay yg pernah saya stay. Owner bagi instruction check in/ check out yg betul-betul jelas, siap dgn video sekali. Cuma kena tambah video cara bukak pintu & kunci pintu apartment. Lobby senang access dgn kereta. Bilik semua bersih. Kelengkapan semua cukup. Peti ais & microwave dan induction stove. Harga pun tak mahal, mampu sewa. Paling best Apartment ni sekali dgn Paradigm Mall, nk shopping barang pun mudah.

Laluan dari lobby nak masuk Mall agak pening sikit, kena turun lift lalu underground ikut parking motor dan masuk pintu kecemasan. Kalau nk keluar jalan kaki kawasan luar kena masuk mall dulu. Dari pintu depan lobby hanya utk kereta saja, tiada tangga penjalan kaki.
