The staff was really nice and helpful!

I did not understand that we would not have a window (there is a small window opening on walls).

I didn't expect the hotel to be located in an alley but it's an amazing hotel nevertheless. I was confused at first on which way to enter the hotel but the staff immediately picked me up. The staffs are great and helpful, the food was also tasty, and the hotel location also quite strategic. They also provide airport transport with really flexible time.

Super lokalizacja, wszystkie najważniejsze punkty Hanoi w zasięgu spaceru. Ładne i wygodne pokoje, wyśmienite śniadanka. Mega życzliwy i pomocny personel & manager Dave. Znaleźli dla nas wycieczkę - w dobrej cenie razem z transferami - wszystko odbyło się sprawnie i profesjonalnie. Bylibyśmy bardzo zadowoleni:)

地理位置優越，幾分鐘就能到還劍湖和夜市。雖然在巷弄內，但這是優點，回到飯店，可以享受寧靜的度假模式。工作人員熱情親切，有會中文的服務人員，櫃檯也能合理換匯，十分便利。早餐除了自助餐，還可以現點河粉和各式的蛋料理。這次媽媽腳受傷，本來不打算去下龍灣，但只是問問能不能臨時訂購隔日的下龍灣行程，飯店的Dave 立刻幫我們詢問，並找出適合我們的行程，讓我們回國的前一天，不留遺憾。非常感謝Dave!

Excellent location, just a few minutes walk to the lake. Great value for money and the friendliest staff. Breakfast was across the road at the sister hotel but could not fault it. Excellent breakfast and beautiful setting.

Il personale sempre molto cordiale e gentile. Sin da subito si son dimostrati molto disponibili dato che abbiamo fatto il check in all’una del mattino. La camera era molto pulita ed è stata pulita ogni mattina e le salviette/asciugamani cambiati. La posizione è perfetta.

Wir verbrachten sechs sehr angenehme Nächte im Emerald Waters Hotel Valley. Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt ist phänomenal, um Hanoi zu erkunden. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und bot eine angenehme Größe sowie alle wichtigen Essentials, die man im Alltag braucht. Das Badezimmer war mit einer Toilette und einer Dusche ausgestattet; da es keine trennende Glaswand gab, wurde die Toilette beim Duschen zwar etwas nass, was für mich aber kein Problem war. Das Waschbecken befand sich direkt im Zimmer. Ein riesiges Dankeschön gilt dem Personal: als wir wegen unseres frühen Fluges nachts um 3:30 Uhr auschecken mussten, war das überhaupt kein Problem. Alles verlief absolut reibungslos!

Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war, dass das Zimmer sehr hellhörig war; wir konnten Geräusche wie den Aufzug oder Nachbarn bei intimeren Momenten hören. Zudem unterstützte der Fernseher keine Streaming-Apps. Das wäre an sich kein großes Problem gewesen, allerdings reichte die Bandbreite des Internets meistens nicht aus, um flüssig auf eigenen Geräten zu streamen.

Location and the fact that it was set back from the street and therefore, quiet. The included breakfast at the sister hotel across the street was excellent. All the staff are very cheerful, polite and very helpful.

No windows and therefore no natural light in the room. Having said that, this is the function of the hotel being set back. Having stayed in Hanoi with rooms overlooking the street, I would take the no window option and the associated quiet!

Clean and nice rooms, very comfortable beds and good-quality sheets. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we got a great free room upgrade. Breakfast was very good, and the location was excellent - just 2 minutes from the main square and lake. Overall, great value for money.

All was good. The entrance is a bit quirky, as the hotel doesn't have a direct street entrance and you enter through a narrow corridor. Breakfast is also served at another hotel across the street.

Great hotel with amazing staff! The staff are incredibly kind, professional, helpful, and genuinely sincere. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very well maintained, with everything in its place. We were very happy with our stay, especially with the friendly and personal approach of the staff. The location is also excellent, with many of Hanoi’s main attractions within walking distance. Highly recommended! We would definitely stay here again.

スタッフがにこやかでサービス精神旺盛！特にマネージャーのディブ氏は素晴らしく、日本でも稀にみるスペシャリストであると思う。着いた早々エアコンが効かない。離れた食事会場への送迎にホテル停電時の迂回提案など。あらゆることに誠意的に対応して頂きました。最後は移動先までの荷物運搬までヘルプ頂き言葉もない😢ハノイに行く時はまた泊まります。

冷蔵庫の冷えが温いくらい。まぁ設備的な問題だから仕方ないですが。

Unglaublich freundliches Personal.Perfekte Lage, absolut ruhig.

Heel vriendelijk personeel; super uitgebreid ontbijt en heel fancy en chique hotel ook qua aankleding.

Personeel was heel behulpzaam en kwamen voor goede adviezen. Zo hebben ze een busje naar het vliegveld geregeld dat helemaal niet zo duur was. We waren immers met 6 personen. De beden waren echt heel goed. De ligging van het hotel was perfect voor ons verblijf.

Het ontbijt was heel uitgebreid maar mocht wel iets beter brood hebben met meer smaak. En het was jammer dat we de straat over moesten voor ons ontbijt aangezien dat het tijdens ons verblijf in Hanoi flink regende.

Het personeel is zo ontzettend vriendelijk. De locatie is perfect, net uit de drukte maar je loopt zo naar Old Quarter. De kamers zijn heel schoon. Wij hebben hier twee keer verbleven.

Het heeft mijn verblijf niet beïnvloed, maar er zit geen scherm tussen douche en toilet, dus alles wordt nat.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was comfortable, well organized, and made our trip much easier and more enjoyable. A special thank you to Dave, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He assisted us with all our transportation arrangements, made everything simple and stress-free, and was always there to make sure we got where we needed to go comfortably and on time. His support truly made a difference and gave us great peace of mind during our trip. We really appreciated the excellent service and hospitality. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again!

The location of this hotel was incredible. Close to the centre of the town but far enough away to be quiet. The staff were incredible so friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean.

We would have rated it higher but all the amenities it says it has such as gym and breakfast are not actually in this hotel but it’s sister hotel. Which isn’t too far away but can be a walk in the rain in Hanoi. We felt that this wasn’t as it was advertised.

All the staff were outstanding and went out of their way to assist us and inshore all our ongoing travel plans were in order and confirmed. We had an early morning start and provided us with a simple breakfast we could take with us.

Their kitchen is currently closed however it is only a short walk to a sister hotel for a very good breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit, always making us feel welcome and comfortable!

Unfortunately the hotels kitchen was closed due to renovations, however they provided an excellent breakfast at a close by sister hotel. Cannot rate the staff high enough, who provide us with outstanding service.

Not having a bar for any type of beverage except what was available in your room. However, the whole location is surrounded with bars and coffee shops.

A wonderful hotel to stay in the heart of Hanoi. It’s in between Old Quarter and French Quarter, making the location super convenient for you to wander around during the day. The hotel staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help you out. We’re so grateful to have celebrated our honeymoon here and they’ve even surprised us with a honeymoon cake!! Thank you so much for making this such a memorable trip.

Convient parfaitement aux familles. Hôtel calme mais très bien situé. Personnel très accueillant et facilitant. Une mention particulière à Dave qui a organisé notre séjour à Hanoï, à Mu Cang Chai et à Han La Bay d'une main de maître : visites, transferts, conseils pratiques très utiles (par exemple pour les cartes Sim) etc... Nous recommandons chaudement cet hôtel pour profiter pleinement d'un séjour à Hanoï et dans le nord du Vietnam.

The staff were very polite, courteous and very efficient. We particularly like the fcat that they were English speaking and made very good suggestions on how to get around...Kudos to miss Hani, our favorite staff/receptionist!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Een fantastisch verblijf bij Hotel Emerald Waters in Hanoi! De service is van een zeer hoog niveau en werkelijk alles is tot in de puntjes geregeld. Het team denkt met je mee en doet er alles aan om je verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Vooral Mr. Dave en zijn team verdienen een groot compliment voor hun persoonlijke aandacht en gastvrijheid. Absoluut een aanrader!

Great location great staff behaviour

The staff were immensely helpful, friendly, amenable and kind. They actually make the experience 5 star and I hope the manager knows how great they are. I stayed here with my children and I felt very safe and happy at this hotel. Breakfast is currently served at a nearby hotel due to renovations, which isn’t a problem at all. A member of staff escorts you there and the food is good (Vietnamese and western options). Again, staff at the breakfast restaurant were also very polite and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. I have no negative experience to report back. Great little place in the perfect location, just minutes from Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarters.

Loved everything.

The rooms were great, they were accomodating in allowing us early check in with a small fee and organised a car to the airport. They were very helpful at the front desk when we had to write a report about a lost item. Thank you

Communication from the Airport transfer to the motel was not good, left for 1 hour waiting & had to contact them to find out they had changed the pick up point .
